The best restaurants in Northumberland North East

My friend and I visited this restaurant at the weekend and would strongly recommend and will definitely be returning. Beautiful decor, amazing service and the food outstanding, literally can't fault it well done to all the staff 👍👏

Turkish delight flavour ice cream?! Yes please! Fantastic friendly service. They were waiting on a delivery when we arrived as many flavours had sold out. Really helpful and offered tasters to help pick a flavour we'd both enjoy. Definitely be back then next time I'm in Alnwick

Food always unreal - shame they’ve taken the burrata off the menu. Service not amazing this time round. Caesar salad is a must.

Celebrated a wedding here and the staff were amazing , very professional and efficient . Food was top notch we will definitely come again next time we are up north.

We had a wonderful dinner here - popped in before seeing a film across the road - quick service, took our dietary requirements into account with no issues, and the most delicious Italian food I've eaten outside of Italy! We had the artichoke and buffalo mozzarella to start - so fresh! The cannelloni and risotto were excellent, and the pannacotta was also great! Would highly recommend stopping by if you're in Alnwick.

Over the past 40 years my husband has been a one dish man. Chicken Pathia. He tells me has just had very best in 40 years. Actually a little emotional writing this. Aberdeen, Dundee, Bristol, South London, Fife. Mumbai Restaurant Alnwick is No1 for Chicken Pathia

Found the room via a third party website. Checked some reviews on here and it seemed OK. Wish I'd dug a little deeper and read about the rooms! The high stars come because people like the food. The room was very tired. Smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Weirdly hot at night even with no heat on and window open. I wanted to cut the owners some slack as they've recently had a fire in their kitchen and know times are hard for small businesses. But then we saw an advert for their other hotel which seems to have had investment in it, the room needs some of that tlc.

Great food, good portions backed by wonderful staff.

Food and service was fantastic. Had Sunday roast, portion was massive. Great for dogs aswell

Lovely welcoming atmosphere , we didn’t stay here we were holiday in the village , but had two lovely meals and several nights just having a drink in the dog friendly bar. Bar staff friendly and a young man who we assume was the bar manager was very accommodating and friendly.

Food is amazing as always. Great value for money. Only place i ever go for afternoon tea. All the running foxes are amazing.

Had a lovely dinner here. We were seated promptly, the food was very tasty and the staff were lovely, especially with my son who talked about them non-stop on the way back to our accommodation. Highly recommend.
