Popped in here on a hot day for some ice-cream, they were sold out of a few flavours as it was a busy day so I didn't get my first choice, but the toffee popcorn ice-cream was amazing! Friendly staff and not a bad price for what you get.

Turkish delight flavour ice cream?! Yes please! Fantastic friendly service. They were waiting on a delivery when we arrived as many flavours had sold out. Really helpful and offered tasters to help pick a flavour we'd both enjoy. Definitely be back then next time I'm in Alnwick

I only popped in here on a whim after visiting Alnwick Castle but I'm glad I did! The ice cream was fairly priced, the man behind the counter was friendly and I'd definitely rate the ice cream highly. Didn't have time to sit in, but if I ever visit Alnwick again, I wouldn't think twice about it.

Popped in for an ice cream whilst visiting for the day, cute place with a few tables and lovely decor. My friend had a popcorn corn which tasted exactly like popcorn 🍿 so many cool flavours. Definitely worth a look for you’re visiting

Got here 4.30 and it was shut! Update your opening times? Update: we tried the external door and the lights were off and door wouldn’t open. No one about and yes it may have been 4.39 but well before 5pm! Disappointing

Loved it, loved the hospitality of keith.

I tried butter beer and cookie and creme ice cream, which tasted really good. Met Keith who was very polite and helpful and did took me through the butter beer ingredients. 100 percent recommend.

I visited Alnwick this week for the first time, and just had to go to The Alnwick Ice Cream Parlour following several recommendations from friends. The owner was the loveliest lady you could meet (Jo), and she had a range of incredible ice creams available in her shop. We were able to take the dog in too, who also enjoyed 2 pots of doggy ice cream! Thank you so much for making our visit memorable and for the lush ice creams! After a lovely meal locally, we decided to save our dessert and have a special treat at the ice cream parlour. Believe me that was amazing, what a wonderful establishment for sit down service or takeout to enjoy the magical castle surroundings. With all those flavors we will be back 🥰.

Fantastic visit today, we needed a quiet little spot to hide from the rain and this was perfect! The service was 100/10 and the ice cream was delicious as-well as the hot drinks. We will definitely be back !

Wonderful Gelato Ice Creams sold here. We had Vanilla and Pistachio this time and they were gorgeous. Always worth a visit when passing through Alnwick.

The ice-cream was delicious, the indoor seating was basic and had no atmosphere. The member of staff did thier job, but that was it, no interaction. Then my daughter found a shard of hard plastic in her ice-cream the only reply was "oh how did that get there" lucky she wasn't hurt. But not impressed with the customer service at all. Edit.. in reply to the owner's comments...... 6 months later...... I was not offered a replacement nor an apology the member of staff occupied herself with looking for more shard in the ice-cream.. .and nothing else. In thier reply the own has admitted to identifying a health and safety risk and a food hygiene issue and not acting on it.... I rest my case

Fabulous ice cream - best we’ve tasted in a long time. Friendly service and conveniently located just around the corner from the castle on the way back into the town. Great choice of flavours.

Best Gelatto ice-cream in Alnwick! I come for my fix of two scoops of Coffee whenever I'm in town. Service with a beautiful smile. I highly recommend this place.

Decided to come for Ice-cream and get my usual Vanilla and Pistachio combo while the hubby got himself a Rhubarb Custard and Honeycomb. One of the best Gelato we’ve had. Excellent pistachio ice-cream! Lovely staff! Definitely worth a trip back again all the way from Newcastle Upon Tyne!

We loved the twin cone strawberry and mint choc ice cream. Service very finely. Seating very comfy.

Despite low temperatures at the end on March, I fancied an ice cream as I was on holiday. Called into the parlour for a take away ice cream. Had a cornet with a flake (a 99), plus chocolate sauce. Was delicious and just what I wanted as a quick treat. Very friendly lady who made sure I got what I wanted. Contactless card payment, and was only £2.30 so great value. I just wanted a cheap and cheerful cornet, but there were lots of more exotic flavours available too. A hidden gem

The ice cream was delicious. We were offered to try as many tastes as we wanted. The owner was really kind and friendly and talked about the history of the company. We really enjoyed it and definitely will be back soon.

Visited today at 3.30pm despite saying it was open on line.... It was closed. One very unhappy little Granddaughter!

Brilliant little Ice cream shop, really friendly helpful owner who let us try different flavors to help us choose. And they had sorbets which was a real delight as my youngest is dairy intolerant and could actually have an ice cream just like the rest of us instead of making do with an ice lolly!

Called in here for ice creams during a stroll around Alnwick...simply delicious...the way ice cream should be...absolutely cram packed with flavour served in fresh crispy cones...lovely friendly service...independent businesses like these need all the help they can in these uncertain times so please give it a try...you won’t be disappointed.

Made a fleeting visit to this parlour to obtain two lattes. The drinks were very nice and I would make a return trip when I make another visit to Alnwick, especially considering the lady who was serving was very friendly, and made the brief trip a welcomed respite.

A cute icecream parlour that serves delicious Gelato. A random stop off en route from Edinburgh to Harrogate took us through Alnwick and we were delighted to find this place open and serving yummylicious icecream. The lady behind the counter (I think she's the owner) was delightful too. We'll remember our visit for the yummyness of the frozen delights as much as the rapport we had with the lady. Thank you. We will be back one day.

A delightful establishment with a lovely friendly owner. I had the beer butter ice-cream float and it was delicious. Much of the ice-cream selection is gelato and very good quality. The whole place is very clean, including the toilet. There is some seating and a good range of ice-cream flavours and cones / waffles.

Came away for a few days to Alnwick and our family tradition is to have an ice cream every day. This palour offers a brilliant selection of the best ice cream I have ever had. The lady that served us was incredibly friendly and even gave our girls a little treat on our last day. The ice cream is really tasty and brilliant value for money.

Closed at 16:30, when it was said to be open on google... Didnt get to taste.. Sad because it looked so good!

We visited Alnwick ice cream parlour to try out its different flavours and the choice to some maybe a little short of options but I thought that they had just about the right amount of choices to suit almost everyone’s palate as too much choice can be as bad as not enough , the ice cream was nice and also the latte I had , the parlour is quite small inside but homely just the same , cost was about average for ice cream these days so overall a good experience

The chap who runs this is lovely and has served his country. Unfortunately the Italian ice cream sold is very expensive and simply not as good as the Doddington or Morwick ice creams that are made locally.

Popped into this little place during a rainy day trip to Alnwick - to be honest we just wanted to get into somewhere that was dry and warm and the nice man behind the counter informed us that they did coffee (which we were very pleased to hear!)Unfortunately the coffee wasn't good at all so we can't recommend that, but the ice creams looked good - maybe if we come back to Alnwick when it's sunny we'll give it another try.Also it doesn't accept card as it's only a small business so make sure you take cash with you!

Queue for the ice cream van outside Alnwick Gardens was long & I was disappointed to see it was Cornish ice cream they were selling when there is such fabulous local produce. Then remembered we’d visited a cute little ice cream parlour about 5 mins walk away so headed there instead & a great decision. They had a brilliant selection of ice creams - the Sticky Toffee Fudge and Honeycomb were definitely the favourites for us! Kids loved the sprinkle cones too.

Visited whilst looking around Alnwick after trip to castle. Lovely ice cream, loads of different flavours to choose from. Son had a slush which lost flavour very quick. Couple of tables to enjoy ice cream inside.

Well, a real ice cream parlour with proper gelato in Alnwick! The sign outside said to be quick, as there was likely to be an ice cream shortage and so we did. This was a truly indulgent experience and we were so glad we dropped in. The choice was superb as you would expect and the quality spot on. You would do well to drop in and indulge yourself!

A lovely hidden away parlour well worth a visit. Large choice of flavours with a few tables to sit in. Very kind server who went out of his way with my children to ensure they got an ice cream they liked. Dragons blood (bubblegum sauce) was a big favourite!

We call into Alnwick on a regular basis just to pop into this parlour, we always get a warm welcome from the owner, he makes us feel like the oldest of friends. The ice cream is to die for, the coffee is tasty and the cakes finish our visit off.

RUDE man don’t take young children. I visited here today with my mum and my two year old son. There were a few slices of cake stored on a very low shelf under the slush puppy machine. My two year old noticed the cake and took the lid off. I went over straight away and was in the process of getting the lid off him to replace on the cake when the man serving rudely said “I would rather you didn’t let him play with the cake”. I felt this was very rude and uncalled for and we promptly left. Of course I wasn’t letting him play with the cake!! You would think you may have the common sense to keep things at a higher level if you don’t want children touching them. A polite way to deal with the situation would have been to offer to put the Cake at a higher level. It’s hard enough taking a young child out but I would have thought an ice cream parlour would have been more tolerant. I can’t stand rudeness and intolerance of children. This place may be dog friendly but they are not keen on young humans! I won’t be visiting again!

We were visiting Alnwick on a warm and sunny day and having fancied an ice cream found this place. I saw they had Turkish Delight flavour and as I’ve never seen before had to try and it was lovely.

This is tucked away round a corner, but worth going to.

We took the dog with us on a visit to Alnwick and were stuck for places to go that allowed them then we came across this great little ice cream parlour that welcomed them in, even fed them with a dog bowl outside. The gent who served us was welcoming and even gave our pup a biscuit while we sat and had some lovely ice cream.

Even on a cold day this lace is worth seeking out. It has a very good range indeed of flavours and those we have tried have been really good. It is situated right on the edge of town, in Narrowgate - walk down through town as if you were heading for the Castle and Bailiffgate Museum and you will pass it. Staff are really friendly and prices good for the quality.

Not expensive and dog friendly which was a welcome change (I understand the sub text in Alnwick now; dog bowl outside = come on in.

Passing Alnwick and had to stop in for some more gelato tasting 😁. Loads of lovely flavours we sampled : lemon pie, raspberry ripple, mango sorbet, sticky toffee fudge and salted caramel. All served with a smile and bit of banter

Second visit to this wee gem! Whole family enjoyed an array of mouth watering flavours. Mango sorbet, chocolate, lemon pie, honeycomb, kinder and raspberry ripple. Lovely coffee too all served with a smile .

I had salted caramel and Ferrero rocher ice cream. It was very chewy and tasty. Staff were very friendly. However, my mum fancied a latte but they only had a machine. Main speciality is the ice cream which was very nice.

Popped in for a coffee but overwhelmed by choice of gelato. Most amazing lemon pie ice cream ever! Smooth, creamy and just right amount of sweetness and tang! Will have to make many more visits to work my way through the flavours! Staff were lovely too.

What brilliant ice cream - good array of flavours - the ferraro & the honeycomb especially delicious. The couple there were super friendly - my daughter managed to drop her bubble gum cone and they gave her a replacement for free, very kind of them.

Stumbled on this ice cream parlour when looking for somewhere for coffee. The ice cream is excellent and the owner very friendly. The same ice cream is for sale in the nearby castle at nearly twice the price.Coffee was good too.Well with a visit.

We enjoyed our visit here. We decided to sit in an enjoy a tub of gelato. There was a variety of lovely flavours. The rum and raisin was particularly appreciated....an award winning blend! Would recommend highly.

Delicious locally made gelato served by very friendly staff. Dog friendly, we were lucky to witness a gorgeous husky dog having his daily fix of vanilla gelato!

Stopped off here late on in the day after being to the castle, the ice cream was great, went down well with the children! You can sit in and have drinks if you wish. Warm welcome from the staff too.

The ice cream was very tasty from here and considering the spot it's in, they do not overcharge. The only down side for me is the fact that there isn't a massive variety however I would recommend it and I would return.

Visit yesterday with my daughter and grandson. We had tea in a proper cup and saucer from a tea pot and a huge slice of cake while my grandson had ice-cream. Everything was lovely, the cake was delicious, the ice-cream was gorgeous and staff very cheery and friendly. There were customers in with a dog as this place is dog friendly which is so helpful when on holiday. We will definitely visit again and would recommend as a must if visiting Alnwick.
