Called in on speck ,as we weren’t booked offered the only table available explained it was near the door and bar if we ok with it , we took it and weren’t sorry , staff so friendly , not pushy , food was amazing well presented and very fresh highly recommended,

Lovely little tea room in the middle of Alnwick, with great food, friendly staff and fab service and would highly recommend.

A good selection to choose from. Fantastic service, very friendly and helpful. This restaurant has now permanently closed.

Really enjoyed our coffee and sandwich break in this lovely cafe - great location right on the market square and super friendly service. Dog got good service too, we chose to sit outside but I think we could have taken him in. Delicious carrot cake not to be missed!!!

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Great service, Pleasant staff and good beer. Ate here 2 years ago whilst on a golf tour and I am glad my memories have been reinforced today.

donner wraps are smaller now - i got 2 both under 500g and the bloke looked me square in the eye before overcharging me by £2... £16 instead of £14 - and this was teatime not 2 in the morning, he must be raking it in when everyone's hammered. £8 for less than 500g of donner wrap (its should have been 7 i checked when i got home.). not only are the wraps smaller but he also likes to over charge if he thinks youre drunk. This was our second visit since Greene king took over and we were delighted. Friendly staff and great food.there was a little wait for our food as it was very busy but it didn’t disappoint. Well done to the team we will definitely be visiting again.

Best jukebox in the country. But couldn’t hear it because the bar person and a couple of locals had the horse racing on a Tv. I asked said bar person to turn the jukebox up . Which she did. But he increased the volume of the tv.

Great pub with a friendly vibe and fantastic owners who clearly care. Already a brilliant spot, and with a refurbishment coming up, it’s bound to get even better. Can’t wait to see the new look

We popped in for a coffee & something sweet. The cafe is dog friendly, in a separate area, which is good as not everyone likes dogs. The staff were lovely, polite & attentive. We only had a cup of tea & a tea cake but both were good. The tables had a selection of card games, which we thought was a lovely idea. We came home & bought one of the games for a Christmas gift. We will pop in again next time we are in Alnwick & try something from their menu.

It’s was wet and windy when we walked past this little cafe. They had a spare table so we popped inside. The two ladies were very friendly and we ordered tea and cake. They offered a couple of GF choices (although they were not separated from the other glutinous cakes). The cafe itself was quite basic and sitting near the window, we noticed the window beds were not very clean at all. It’s a little tired and needs some love but it did the job.

Lovely cafe, Friendly staff and great service. Had two full english breakfasts cooked beautifully and kept us full up all day. Good value as well
