This is a great bakers. High quality cakes and pastries with delicious bread. Worth a visit. Staff lovely too. Currently to seating as some refurbishment going on.

We are constantly impressed with No Fret. We brought some visiting friends here for lunch and they were equally impressed. Three of us had the burrito and all of us commented on how fantastic it was. Our friends even went and ordered more food including the Welsh Rarebit. Curious as to what was in it (they’re Polish) the owner gladly explained the ingredients which made the experience even better.

as the name implies it is a dog-friendly cafe for humans, they do an all-day breakfast and sandwiches also cakes, for dogs they do various dog treats and ice cream. they will also organise a doggie birthday party, ask them for details. there is a playpen for dogs

Lovely chilled bistro where the focus is very much on the quality of the ingredients and the amazing sourdough bases. The pizza I had (Five) was probably the best one I’ve had outside of Naples. Friendly and efficient waitress. The only thing that could be improved on would be a better wine list (many of the wines on the board were not available) and on the sides list, the option of a salad alongside the amazing potato dishes would be great.

Great to 'bump' into this place after visiting a friend on the coast. The owner was incredibly hospitable and the space is good. This is traditional Carpathian street food and I had the sour cream, cheese and pickle option. I was not disappointed as I scoffed it on my way back to the metro. Try it, it's good.

Amazing place ..quality beers and wines to buy and you can also enjoy sampling in house ..lovely atmosphere , great music, warm and friendly :) Would highly recommend a visit 👍

Gorgeous little spot for drinks, staff so friendly and lovely chips! So underrated and definitely a one to watch round here, must visit!

Lovely food and really helpful staff. My Mum’s dietary requirements were very well catered for when we visited on Friday and we all really enjoyed our food (carbonara, pizza and risotto). Friendly and chilled atmosphere and food/drink is fabulous quality

Such a cosy spot with great drinks, a lovely dimmed-lights adult space for feeling magically transported away from the worries of the outside world. Haven't tried the food but just a great place to be.

The Blue Bramble Tea Room is a short walk from Whitley Bay metro , you get a friendly welcome and have a large choice of food and drinks to choose from .. i chose home made quiche with salad , followed by chocolate fudge cake , choosing a soft drink to wash it down with however there are a large selection of other foods and drinks both hot and cold available the food was exceptional , the staff very friendly, all adding up to the perfect tea room to visit

2nd visit and the restaurant met our expectations again. A delightful dining experience with 2 friends. Food was confidently explained by the waiter as was the wine. Definitely becoming our goto for special occasions.

We ordered for collection at 18:55 with an estimated collection time of 19:20. Arrived promptly at the restaurant at 19:15 and were asked to take a seat while the team prepped our food and coffee. After waiting in store approx 40 minutes. We heard the chef from the back say that ‘this order has been ready ages’ a couple of minutes later our food and coffee was brought over. At 19:57 the food was ready, we took the bag and left, furious with the amount of time we had to wait for a collection order. Over an hour since we placed the collection order. When we got back to the car, a 3 minute walk from the store our food was freezing cold and one coffee luke-warm, after watching the staff remake the 2nd with the correct milk that we ordered. Don’t think we will be coming back to this establishment, despite the quality of the food being exceptional, 1 hour + for a collection order is appalling.

Wow. Food superb, service superb and a full and bust restaurant at 7.00 on a Sunday night. Definitely worth a revisit. Sunday night set menu is superb value and one of the best curry meals we've ever had. 5 star plus. ✅✅

This is a lovely little find for a value for money lunch. The food was delicious, especially the potato skins which were cooked to perfection. Between us we had pizzas and pastas and everything was lovely. Service was very attentive too. Will definitely be back.

Fancied a home cooked pub lunch . Heard really good reviews about this place . Quite busy , scanned the menu we both decided on the scampi upgraded to the homemade chips . 🍟 🍤 Food was excellent , no complaints from us . Staff were great 😊 Definitely recommend & will return . Excellent value for money .
