I've always remained sceptical about reviews, but I wasn't disappointed this time, wow!!!! The food and service was fantastic and that's the best burrito I've ever had, not to mention the quality of the coffee and the fruit loaf, try it, you won't be disappointed.

as the name implies it is a dog-friendly cafe for humans, they do an all-day breakfast and sandwiches also cakes, for dogs they do various dog treats and ice cream. they will also organise a doggie birthday party, ask them for details. there is a playpen for dogs

Lovely chilled bistro where the focus is very much on the quality of the ingredients and the amazing sourdough bases. The pizza I had (Five) was probably the best one I’ve had outside of Naples. Friendly and efficient waitress. The only thing that could be improved on would be a better wine list (many of the wines on the board were not available) and on the sides list, the option of a salad alongside the amazing potato dishes would be great.

Great to 'bump' into this place after visiting a friend on the coast. The owner was incredibly hospitable and the space is good. This is traditional Carpathian street food and I had the sour cream, cheese and pickle option. I was not disappointed as I scoffed it on my way back to the metro. Try it, it's good.

The Blue Bramble Tea Room is a short walk from Whitley Bay metro , you get a friendly welcome and have a large choice of food and drinks to choose from .. i chose home made quiche with salad , followed by chocolate fudge cake , choosing a soft drink to wash it down with however there are a large selection of other foods and drinks both hot and cold available the food was exceptional , the staff very friendly, all adding up to the perfect tea room to visit

This unassuming restaurant is well worth a visit. Fine dining in Whitley Bay . I and my family ;16, 17 & ??, ??😏 went here for sons 16th birthday and had the 6 course set meal which is the only option but the food was delicious and the service was great. I don’t take to the pretentiousness of some fine dining establishments but the Roxburgh is not like that at all. The food is brought to with a simple explanation and it is delicious. You pay an appropriate price which isn’t cheap. But as a self confessed tight Yorkshireman i was happy to pay for the whole great experience. Save up and go!

We came across Eat Clean looking for a place that offered a healthy reasonably priced meal and this is what we got. The ingredients were clearly fresh, tasted great, and a wide range of dishes are on offer. My salad averse friend opted for a salad box and ate the lot with evident enjoyment and we will certainly come here again. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. I wish we lived nearer! For the eco-conscious amongst you, the food is served in a cardboard box with wooden knives and forks. I can't answer for the coffee cup lid but I suspect it was probably recycleable making most of the serve wear either recycleable or compostable. So tick for that and tick for water conservation as well. Staff were really nice too

This is a lovely little find for a value for money lunch. The food was delicious, especially the potato skins which were cooked to perfection. Between us we had pizzas and pastas and everything was lovely. Service was very attentive too. Will definitely be back.
