This is a lovely intimate beautiful bar serving a great selection of drinks. The food coming out looked and smelled amazing.

The newest bar to the shields, lives up to its sister bar in whitley Bay. Lush decorations, chilled atmosphere friendly staff. Even has an upstairs and a beer garden out back.

Interesting place. I decided to go after seeing how yummy some of their dishes looked on Instagram. It did not disappoint. Had the asparagus, arancini, and bruschetta. Pisco sours were also good. I ddint realise this but they have a cute little courtyard out the back too. Would be a lovely spot for a cocktail in the fresh air.. Black cherry martini is to die for.

Used to work here. Now I just drink here. Fantastic.

Good beers friendly staff they also have live act's on occasionally. The place has a good atmosphere. They also serve food now although we never ate there it looked good more of a tapas style place. We will definitely be returning to try the food. I would highly recommend this place

Great place to go for lunch, some lovely dishes. Favourite was the North Shields fish cakes but everything tasted great. The bloke serving was really helpful, polite and good natured.

Wanted something easy and nice. Got 5 vegi plates and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the broccoli dish, the burrata and the cauliflower - but to be fair they were all fantastic. Service was great and the beer choice was fab

Great eclectic bar in the centre of Whitley. It was busy on Saturday but there was never a wait to order a drink, staff were lovely and the cocktails were amazing! Black forest margarita is a must.

Quiet Friday afternoon. Food was fab and very nice sitting in the back in the sun.

Always enjoyable here, although seems to be getting noisier than it used to be, for these old folks 😀 The negative side of their success.

Ameizing what English team know very well Slavic legends! Very beautiful place with very friendly staff ! It's Great for town what we have so nice art bar in town,not many places you can find similar! Also food is very nice with exelent service of staff! Place where you will be like to return at any time! I wish all the best for Team of Baba Yaga's House! From my own experience I like to give 100* because its really great place! Cool little joint, could spend hours in there. Had a lush Sunday afternoon, eating, drinking and yapping.

Very tasty and varied tapas, good beer and friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. Dog-friendly too, dog treats at the bar. Well worth a visit for a quick drink, many drinks, or a main meal. Recommended.

Only popped in for a few drinks. Lovely decor with a really relaxed atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations. Have seen and heard great things about the food so will definitely be back to try. Good selection of beers and wines and a good cocktail list. Will definitely come back.

Visited twice while in WB. Drank from the regular and specials cocktail menus and every one was a winner. What made the experience extra good was the warm, welcoming & friendly service. Cheers!

Lush new bar in Whitley Bay - also arts showcase, changing exhibitions on display. Lovely grazing type boards which are great value - we're always very greedy but it filled us right up. Staff are genuinely friendly, not pretentious at all. Doggie friendly and always a mixed crowd which is nice to see. Also just along from Laurels if you want to stay out after last orders 😉

I love this dog-friendly gem. Staff is friendly and welcoming, drinks are original and delicious with no detail overlooked. The mocktail options are also great- not your typical virgin mojitos (although I think you can order that), I typically opt for a raspberry sour that makes even the drinkers jealous!
