I visited a lovely Lebanese restaurant and had a great experience. The seating area is really nice, especially since the restaurant is right by a canal. You can choose to sit indoors or outside depending on the weather. The outdoor area has a beautiful view, smoking is allowed, and they offer shisha (although I didn’t try it). I had the kibbeh, which was delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was good, and the staff member who served us, Abboud, was very kind and attentive. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing. I’ll definitely go back again!
Absolutely amazing experience! The pizza was one of the best I ever had (and I am Italian), Roman style, thin but not dry and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. Very recommended

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week, and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. We arrived with high expectations, but encountered several issues that left us disappointed and upset.
On the first day, we were given a room with a view of a loud generator. We requested a change, but the next room was also poor. After waiting again at reception, we were finally moved to a room with a river view. It was the best option they offered, but still not great.
The issues continued throughout our stay. The bedside lamp broke and no one came to fix it. The fire alarm went off more than twice daily, disturbing our sleep. Housekeeping is only provided every four days, and when I asked for clean sheets, I was told to change them myself.
A major concern occurred when a maintenance worker ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign and entered our room without permission while I was in a confidential video call. He turned on all the taps, made noise, and completely disrupted my work. When I complained at reception, they didn’t seem to care or apologize.
We were also asked to leave the restaurant for only ordering cake, even though the place was almost empty. The breakfast was poor, with very few options and an early closing time of 9:30 am. The beds were much smaller than advertised — only 75 cm wide — and my friend fell out twice. The staff showed no concern about this.
Other problems included very dirty windows, a slow and confusing elevator, unresponsive reception, and extremely weak Wi-Fi. Most of the staff seemed unmotivated and poorly trained.
On the positive side, the location is good, near Canary Wharf station. The dinner menu is reasonably priced, and some staff members, especially the cleaners, were friendly.
Overall, I had a much better experience here two years ago. It’s clear the hotel has declined, possibly due to a change in management. I would not stay here again and recommend others to consider alternative hotels in London.
15 years ago I would've travelled far and wide to enjoy 1 of their salt beef on black rye sandwiches. Today is a far cry from those glory years. Gone is the focus on quality and delicious food. Welcome the age of cost cutting. Over the last so many years they have slowly but surely started cutting corners wherever they can. First it was the discontinuation of bread choices. Now it's a simple white or brown and a noticeable reduction in the size of the slices. But worst of all, going from a sandwich loaded with salt beef and a whole pickle on the side to what I had today, what can only be described as a sad excuse for a sandwich. A pitiful amount of salt beef and a few slithers of pickle. In fact, the layer of mustard spread onto the bread was thicker than
the meat filling. It was completely inedible, and I had to throw half of it out. All that for £10. What a joke. Avoid at all cost!! This place used to be great but they are now nothing more than a rip off. Go to Pret, go to Waitrose, go absolutely anywhere and you will get better value for money and tastier sandwich.
Service was OK but food not good, Chicken Ceasar salad very soggy, overwhelmed by too much and very thin acidic dressing , which resulted in very limp and squishy lettuce. Chicken stodgy with breadcrumbs, just not very nice. Felt quite uncomfortable after eating. One restaurant to avoid for me.
No puedes oírte pensar. Tienen que gritar los nombres de la gente para tomar café.
Visited this place on Saturday night and they were letting in groups of six not from same family’s. Groups of friends. The ladies toilet was disgusting sick in the sinks that had not been cleaned up so you couldn’t wash your hands as many people as you could get in the toilet. Management need to check on this establishment.
The staff aren’t very nice at all. They aren’t helpful and they don’t are about kids. Avoid - there are better options around and the food isn’t that great either.
