Service was OK but food not good, Chicken Ceasar salad very soggy, overwhelmed by too much and very thin acidic dressing , which resulted in very limp and squishy lettuce. Chicken stodgy with breadcrumbs, just not very nice. Felt quite uncomfortable after eating. One restaurant to avoid for me.

Decor is lovely and coffee good. Food was awful. I ordered poached eggs on toast and it was a peice of dry sourdough with 2 eggs overpached on top. They tasted of vinegar. My partner had shaskarba and it was two eggs thrown in tomato sauce. No garnish and presentation was non existent 😡 won't be going again.

Went here after reading recommendations on places to go for breakfast in canary wharf (later realised we had got the wrong branch).. overpriced, poor, abrupt service, cold food and small portion sizes. Feel like they try and be pretentious by adding seasoning and garnish on food, which tasted extremely bog standard to start with. Would not recommend.

I have been twice to this place appalling service waited 20mins to be told back in a minute and waited another 20mins before finally getting up and looking for a staff member - no drinks arrived despite ordering them - food came no cutlery provided had to go find staff again ask for cutlery and drinks ONLY saving grace was Veronica - this place is massively UNDERSTAFFED and it is appalling that a big chain like this one allows 2-3 members of staff to work on a very busy Thursday night not the first time I have witnessed this and poor staff members like Veronica get the brunt from disgruntled customers - Brera give this woman a raise

We went to Cabot square branch today as a birthday treat for my sister. It took ages to get served and eventually when we did the pizza came up with no plates which we had to ask for. They then forgot two plates of salad and a glass of wine which we had to remind them about about. The service charge came to nearly £5 which I wouldn’t have minded paying if it had been good service but it wasn’t. To top it all I forgot to put my loyalty points on when I was paying so when I went up to the counter with the receipt she just said it was too late which I didn’t find very helpful.

Went for a coffee & cake on Sunday 7/11, the lady behind the counter first had several conversations with co-workers before eventually serving me. While serving me she really made it obvious that she was doing me a favour. I bought 2 slices of red velvet cake which she put in a box. When trying to get the cake out the box, most of the icing got stuck to the top of the sleeved box and as the cake was very dry, icing would have come in handy. Awful experience, don’t go here!

I used to go to Brera often and have noticed the standard of food declining over time. I was served by Khelvan, who was very attentive and made my overall experience. He addressed my issues swiftly and gave me a dessert on the house in order to make up for my complaints on the food as well as the fly in my drink. My sister and I will be returning due to the quality of service provided by this chap although it would be great to see the standard of food back to how it was previously.

It’s at once a sit-down restaurant and a take-away. There are a few bar top stools but people like me who queue at the counter and then request a seat are a nuisance particularly if there are few remaining seats available. It also meant waiting after my choice of breaded. chicken and ham ciabatta had been warmed up whilst the barista prepared take-away coffees for three before he could get round to making me a double espresso and pouring it into an elegant green cup. Fortunately there was an inside table available near a till as it had just rained and the seats and tables on the patio were wet. But an excellent pitstop which just hit the spot before my return to a hearing in the nearby court.

We've been here quite a few times over the years but it seems to have gone downhill. It seems impossible to now get a coffee that isn't more than lukewarm, even though the coffee itself is still good. Pricing seems strange with items priced on the counter but when eaten inside they are much more expensive but this is not stated anywhere. The toilets are also pretty horrid, with only one of the two working. There are also boxes and junk piled up all around which cannot be safe. Staff remain friendly and helpful though.

I've been here a few times and have definitely noticed differences in the quality of the cakes. Some times it's been top notch and on others might seem a bit drier and not so pleasant, almost like you've had one that's been out for a couple of days rather than being fresh. Luck of the draw maybe. Would still say the cakes are generally better than some of those on offer at some of the more common coffee establishments though.

As a frequent customer of Brera Jubilee, and a restaurant owner at Canary Wharf myself, today I was left extremely shocked. The women and young men who work at Brera are absolutely fantastic and the service is always done with a smile on their face. However, today I witnessed what I can only call disgusting management. Not only did the blonde woman who I presume was the manager shout and scream at them for stupid reasons (which yes, I could hear from all the way where I was sitting) but she did it in front of her other customers. Not only did the workers get humiliated but I and many other customers exchanged looks of disgust. No matter what a worker may have done you never humiliate them in front of customers they have just served, especially for the most stupid reasons. The worst part is this is not the first time I have witnessed this here at the Jubilee branch. The sad part is the hard working people there now did their work with a frown and of course with not a touch of enthusiasm.

We thought we'd grab a cocktail here before heading off for dinner. We sat outside under the trees...practically 5m from where the barman was making drinks and in full view of the waiter who looked our way multiple times. Despite this and the fact we were sat down, no one came to tell us whether they wanted to serve us or maybe how long it would be. It wasn't even remotely busy in there, so the non existent service was just laughable. Ultimately, my other half decided to go up to the bar and that wasn't exactly successful either. Another 5 minutes passed with no service, so we just decided to get up and go. Again, no one seemed to care. The gentleman standing in front of my other half at the bar was in a similar situation...asking someone to basically go to their table to be served...so at least we weren't the only unlucky ones. Pathetic service.

We dropped in for a light lunch, and the menu looked good. But the toasted sandwich - mozzarella, tomato, pesto and olive oil on sourdough bread - was disappointing. The pesto was pretty tame so the sandwich was bland and the bread was hard and dry - wherever the olive oil was, it wasn't on the bread. The other party ordered a club sandwich but the bread was over-toasted and almost impossible to cut with the knife. The music was too loud for conversation and cold air was coming in from outside, so we kept our visit short and went elsewhere for coffee.

Cafe Brera has a good location at one end of Jubilee Place. It is essentially a bar serving mainly toasted snacks, various breads with multiple carniverous fillings, and pizzas. Yesterday at about 1.30pm I had a coffee after a lunch at Henry Addingtons pub and enjoyed munching on some complimentary pieces of pizza as I waited for it to be made. Today with less time to spare I came here for a quick lunch, but was surprised to find it much busier at the later time of 2.15 to 2.30pm. There was quite a long queue moving very slowly probably as there were only two baristas who were being stretched with multiple take away orders for multiple fruit smoothies as it was such a hot day. I was impressed by the large clubby paninis lined up from about £4.90 to £6.90 in price, filled with top quality Italian salamis, hams and one with Gruyere cheese. I opted for a more prosaic toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a mocha frappachino. Altogether about £10. Not cheap but the sandwich hit the spot and my iced beverage was refreshing. There is also an outside terrace with a slightly different menu, beer by the pint rather than the 330ml bottle, but there was also a long queue for, I think, drinks only, as the food station, including a pizza oven, looked to have packed up for the day.

Went to Brera in the Wharf earlier today for the first time for a sit down meal. Chose it mainly because it was lunchtime and the other restaurants were heaving. I now know why Brera wasn't. I approached a waitress asking whether it was table or counter service. She was East European and had no idea what I was talking about but asked me to sit down at the nearest table nevertheless. I was eventually served by another young lady who appeared to be Italian and who kindly took my order. Following the substandard pizza I decided to pay and was perpetually ignored by the original girl, either because she doesn't know that observing customers is the basics of her job or just that she was ignorant. I suspect both.I eventually walked up to the counter myself and asked the Italian lady who HAD bothered to do her job and serve me, for my bill. She passed me on to another East European whose rudeness even exceeded that of the original one. Having flashed my bill at me she handed me the card machine. Having paid, there was no "thankyou" or "please come again". She simply turned to a new customer. I waited for my receipt and she eventually looked at me indignantly as if to say "what are you still waiting for"? I asked for my receipt and, saying nothing she simply pointed to my bill which lay on the counter. On pointing out that this was a bill and not a receipt, she pressed a button or two, snatched up the receipt and handed to me without so much as a glance.Have read other reviews, all the negative ones complain about the same thing....rude and ignorant waiting staff. You may gain far better accolades if you chose your staff more carefully. Manners, politeness and good grace are part of our culture. Having done a degree in Eastern Europe and lived there, they are not known for the aforementioned good qualities. It was rubbish

To avoid needing to book a meeting room, I tend to try and meet up with people in cafes in Canary Wharf and have tried Costa and Carluccio's, and someone suggested this place, which is at the river end of the mall under Boisdale. The decor is more functional than comfort, but that is OK for meetings. There is usually a small queue which moves reasonably quickly. They serve great coffee, some lovely pastries and some nice looking sandwiches, although I have never tried the latter. The staff are OK, mainly working the counter and clearing tables. The prices are reasonable too. My only complaint is that the noise can make it hard to hear people on your own table.

I had the misfortune to meet a business colleague here for a drink, despite clearly telling the lady serving "two Lattes please", she managed to short change me, then grimaced when I asked about my bill and the order. When the order finally turned up, lets just say I've made better drinks in the middle of a wood with instant coffee and powered milk! Avoid this chain unless your desperate, there are better places in the Wharf.

Good food but oh my god the staff are so rude. Pizza is definitely the best thing on menu, sandwiches are a bit over priced and the "typical Italian desserts" are very bad.

Located in the shopping centre on the mezzanine overlooking the main shopping throughfare. Came in here for lunch and had a pizza. My colleague had already ordered and paid before I arrived, so can't comment on the staff apart from the person who brought the pizza ans they were polite.I had a pizza and it was light and nice. I think its a nice place for a quick pit stop.

Well I had the most unpleasant experience at this cafe (cabot place outlet)! I understand nobody likes working on a sunday - but a smile wouldn't kill, would it? Me and my husband went in to get some breakfast on sunday morning around 10:30 am and the counter was being manned by 2 gentlemen. We asked one of them - whether they had any breakfast menu/ or do they serve breakfast - this guy could not understand us and he looked at the other gentleman to help him. The other gentleman simply told him - "we dont have breakfast" - and this guy just looked at us helplessly. We walked out feeling a bit humiliated as we saw people there enjoying orange juice, croissants, sandwiches, coffee! I did not understand that did he not want to serve us? or even if you did not understand what we were looking for - can you not spare a moment to figure out what we want - after all the restaurant was not as busy! Very disappointed - definitely not returning back!

Coffee was delish! Service was super...not to mention the macaroons...only downfall was the banana loaf(need a new recipe or supplier), but overall love the coffee and the peaceful location.

I work opposite Care Brera so go there often. It is a little pricey but there's always somewhere to sit (inside or out) and it has a good atmosphere. There can be long queues sometimes but they get through it quickly so you're never lined up for more than a few minutes. It's a typical Canary Wharf coffee place - full of business meetings and over-priced drinks but you know what to expect.

This place is handy for general business catch up coffees, but would not recommend for more discrete conversations as it's almost always busy.

The coffee was very nice and so was the food. The service could be a bit friendlier and kinder considering it is a business. The speed of the service is average and can also be improved

This is my favourite pizza in canary wharf. I always get the basic margherita. Service is quick and painless. Prices not bad. All in all a good option in the area for a cafe based lunch experience.

A really busy, buzzy place. The coffee was great and the service efficient and friendly. We let them know we were in a hurry and they made sure we got our order quickly. Great food in a great location There were lots of other things to choose from on the menu, the sandwich/pannino are divine! - Well worth a visit

Happy hour (two-for-one drinks between 6pm and 7pm) is a good offer based on the alternatives in Canary Wharf. The staff vary in helpfulness - from downright rude to exceptionally good. The pizzas are quite nice and are decent value for money. It's not the best place in the world - but it is well worth a try if you want a quick drink and a snack.

We stayed in London Docklands for a long weekend and went to Brera every morning for breakfast. We found the place last year and were keen to go back. The food and drink is very good quality and we really like the continental styling of the place. At weekends it was pretty quiet but on Monday morning it was much busier with workers from Canary Wharf.

The barista just warmed the old milk that was left over in the jar and had the nerve to ask me whether it was too cold... I mean come on, I pay just as much as Starbucks, just get give me some fresh milk. She also looked like she just woke up. Such an unpleasant experience.

How can this place even be allowed to operate within the square mile I don't know; doesn't even deserve a place in the most suburban high street in my opinion. The food is stale, staff is extremely rude as in appear to not like human being contact, the coffee is so badly prepared they should remove cafe from their name. I asked for a latte, was served a stale, burnt coffee with warmed milk. I asked them to make another as I asked for a latte not white Americano, staff proceeded to "educate" me to make me believe what I was drinking was a latte. I'm an avid barista so know what a latte is thank you! To my disappointment I realised these rude people lack customer service and was in fact disgusted afterwards by the hands that prepared the. I proceeded with my business meeting but left the coffee untouched. I will continue to write bad reviews unless they replace all staff and start serving acceptable food and drinks.

Food took over an hour to arrive! Pizza was obviously stone cold. Called the place, and the guy who picked up the phone just hung up after 15 seconds. I had also left a note asking the driver to call me when he gets here, but he decided to knock on the door instead. What's the point of having that option there if you're not even gonna read it? Shite branch, avoid if you can.

When I called to replace order they hung up on me and took the phone off the hook. Horrific customer service. Do not eat there!!!! From reading other reviews it seems like they are in the habit of using out of date ingredients.

I placed an order on Friday 01:35AM a 12-inch pepperoni deluxe with 6 BBQ wings. The pizza arrived stone cold not only that I was disgusted how could they deliver burnt BBQ wings? The burnt smell took over my pizza couldn’t manage to eat it, I only had two slices. I wrote to JUST EAT explaining the issue, the response I get back was I've checked the order details to see what I can do for you. Since you paid for the order in cash, and the payment was made directly to the [restaurant/store], it's not possible for me to process a refund. In this situation, the best thing to do is contact the restaurant to ask for a refund, as they hold the funds. I hope this helps. I then contacted the restaurant explaining what I’ve been told by JUST EAT spoke to the manager/Jay absolutely rude not even an apology for selling me a burnt bbq wings and a missing item from my order, no manners whatsoever zero professionalism. Refused to give me a refund or another order free of charge….

Characteristic place, nice without great pretensions. Delicious food, their soups are unique dishes with delicious noodles. All the dishes we saw passing by at the tables near us looked very inviting. Advise? Absolutely yes
