Domino's Pizza Wapping in Tower Hamlets

Food took over an hour to arrive! Pizza was obviously stone cold. Called the place, and the guy who picked up the phone just hung up after 15 seconds. I had also left a note asking the driver to call me when he gets here, but he decided to knock on the door instead. What's the point of having that option there if you're not even gonna read it? Shite branch, avoid if you can.

Food was typical dominos. Good but not amazing. They did mess up the order so had to wait an extra 10 mins to cook the missing bit but ticker than our local domino’s.

ordered some dominos for dinner through delivery, it said it would take 15-30 minutes. waited outside for an hour and a half and still didn’t come. called 8 times and no one picked up. worst food experience of my life

I’ve ordered pizzas on Uber Eats tonight. After an hour of delay I called the restaurant as the delivery was done directly by Domino’s driver, not Uber Eats. The guy from Dominos (whoever was on the phone on 18 May 2024 at 23:22 at Dominos Wapping) told me my order returned as I was tried to be reached at my apartment and through my phone. Well, I told him nobody ever contacted me, nobody rang my door bell or tried to knock and if he couldn’t reach me they were supposed to contact Uber Eats. He told me I’m not understand English and anyway they are closed now anyway so my order will not be delivered and I will not get any refund because it’s all “my fault,” then he hung up. That’s completely unacceptable and that’s not how to you treat the customer. I have to admit it’s a pity as I think Domino’s is one of the nicest chains that makes pizzas, however after tonight I will make sure I never order from them, will just get the pizza directly from the store or order from a competitor.

Really bad customer service I never received in my all life , so basically I was really hungry with my friend we order pizza after taking money they call me fortunately they can’t delivery to me , I never get back my money . I will do an appeal

Appalling. Delivery driver called and said he was here. I go to meet him downstairs and he is nowhere to be found. I call the store and said the driver said he’s here but he’s not and I can’t get through to him. He rudely says if he has problems finding you he will call you. 5 minutes later the rude guy calls me and says the driver can’t find you so we’re going to send you another delivery driver?!? I explain to him he should have the delivery driver call me and I can help him, he hangs the phone up. I call back several times and he keeps hanging up the phone. I called around 10 times and this final call he is acting like he cannot hear me, then when I change my tone and I am rude he finally speaks and says he will cancel my order and hangs the phone up again! I did not even get a chance to speak. He then proceeds to call back and says he will not refund my order since they do not tolerate abuse. I can’t believe this is an actual pizza chain, they need to retrain their staff or change the culture.

First class pizza joint. I was out on the town and after a busy walk I came upon this domino’s. I was hungry. Naim was the man serving me - and full marks to him for customer care. He had a kind and pleasant demeanor from the start. Excellent service. And he offered some fantastic local advice when I enquired as a visitor. This doesn’t normally happen. But it was most appreciated. Thank you sir for your great service. And the pizza was scrumptious.

So it says at the door that I t closes at 00:00 but at 23:20 they are already closed and cleaning, I think yoy guys need to change the sign at your door.

Not sitting space for 3 people and they Don't have tissues and they don't give ketchup and mayonnaise

I am very happy with the customer service at this restaurant. I was served with smiles by the members of staff and Rahul who took my order was very knowledgeable and gave me a handy leaflet with full list of menu items with allergen information. Good preparation was quick and high quality. The store is not designed for eating in but has large windows towards a busy road and has nice indoor lighting so it is nice atmosphere for the short wait. I only collect so cannot speak for the delivery but the drivers and kitchen staff sound like they work together as a team which is nice.

On web it said 50% off with app. 40 min later .... NO SUCH THING...Thanks x

Typical chain, nothing special, nothing wrong either you get what you expect

They are not accept order they force to order online and they told us that system not working but after us the another customer they take orders him and they lied to us

This store listing says it is open until Mindnight. I called the number listed and placed an order for pick up and was told ten minutes. I showed up at this store in ten minutes and they said they were closed, the phone was forwarded to a different store and I had to walk to another store further away. I called again while standing in this store, asked how I would have known they transferred the call to another store. They didn't care and said I had to walk to whatever other store o was talking to. Nope.

We tried 2 times it was perfect. Also, staffs were very kind and respectful.

There hasn’t been a single time that Domino’s delivery time has been acceptable. Every other restaurant that’s located the same distance manages to deliver within 15-30min, but dominos ALWAYS takes 1+ hour. Clearly understaffed. Very irritating and makes me never want to order again. Also, why isn’t domino’s on deliveroo/UberEats?! That way I could at least see what’s causing the delay / where the driver is…

Ordering from this Domino’s I was a bit hesitant after reading the negative reviews. However, pizzas arrived extremely quickly (less than 20 min) looking, and more importantly, tasting great. My wife is quite peculiar with her foods so her one was thoroughly customised when ordered, and was delivered exactly as requested. I only feel bad because I had no cash to tip the delivery guy.

After years of working in retails,i have become very aware of customer service and making customers feel welcome. I got to say This blonde man that works at evening and takes orders has consistantly made me feel unwelcome , absolute bottom of customer service , from unwelcoming attitude to looking at other collegues and laughing smiling about you like you are annoying him You ask a question about the menu and you can see it in his face that he is fed up with you Abysmal customer service you should not let this man interract with customers, let alone take orders. blonde man , short , works at evening

I ordered a week ago two deep pans got thin, they offered a replacement for my next order and received a thin crust again.

I always order from this branch and never leave reviews but had to on this particular occasion. Usually if something is out of stock they just don’t send it or send something else. This time Shahid called me and informed me prior and asked if I wanted anything else as they didn’t have something that I ordered. I decided not to get a replacement. He then went to another branch to pick some up and kindly came back and dropped off what I was missing. Amazing! Thank you Shahid :)

I placed an order for delivery. from this store before 11pm on a Tuesday night, and it states on the website that they are open until midnight for deliveries. I got a call just after 11pm telling me the store is shut, they can't deliver my pizza and that they can't refund my money tonight also because they were now shut. They said I'd have to wait till tomorrow before they will even start to put through my refund, and hung up. So they are doing nothing about it tonight, even though I get no food and they have my money. I was told I can place another order so that their Docklands store can deliver to me, as they are open later (!). So I can pay even more money before they refund me for the failed delivery. I called them back a number of times trying to get my refund, before someone in the store (who sounded like the manager) told me I would be banned from the store if I call them again.

Gotta be the worst dominos around. Customer service been 0 for years.

Ordered a pizza online and got the wrong order delivered. Now these things happen from time to time so I thought to give this store a call and it would be a quick fix. Unfortunately, their phone number doesn't work and there is no option to contact them in another way apart from Facebook which they never responded too. Very frustrating when you have spent £30 pounds on some food. Would not recommend.

Very delicious cheese and tomato

Had a fantastic experience ordering online with great deals and fun website showing status from prep tome to ready for collection. It only took 10 minutes and it tasted soo fresh and delicious 🤤 highly recommend! Oh and their crust is soo light and fluffy!! I normally don’t finish the crust, but with dominos, I did 😋

I ordered a surprise pizza for bf as a sorry because we are on a bad patch at the moment so can not expect reply from him so I had to called in the store to ask if the driver manage to deliver the pizza to him and if he collected it from the driver. note// I ordered the pizza at 11am and this call I made was 21:00 in evening . but the staff I spoke on phone did not seem to understand english and he kept repeating we will deliver the pizza and when I said do you understand what am i even asking you he still did not understand when I said it was in the morning I ordered again he repeated we will deliver it so I said CAN i SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER he said I am the manager and when I said can I have your name please he said I will not give my name I said staff wears name badge on shop floor for a reason you are not working for MI6 that you are some covert agent it is domino's for god sake you in hospitality retail business customer care business I will contact head office and talk to them regarding issue and while I was saying that he hang up on me now I ordered from this branch nearly every other week for at least 3 years food never had issue but this was first interaction with staff and he was talking to me like I was his very old friend no professionalism pathetic customer service training buy dominos to its employees.

The attention is very good, but I am a little disappointed that there are no covid restrictions and they are still not accepting cash payment which does not seem correct to me, I am not opposed to paying and there is no sign that says only payment in card, I remind you that the covid restrictions have been removed

Mediocre, for domino’s standards

One of the worst experience I had while doing my order today. The staff means Yousuf was so rude. He didn’t acknowledge anything and hang up phone twice. having a word with manager''Yousuf''even he was not interested in listening to my complaint . I ordered 17.30 to delivered 20.30 unfortunately food came in 20.45 .

Super quick delivery and food was great and piping hot! Best Domino’s experience to date.

These guys made a complete mess of our pizzas and then hung up the phone when I called to see how they could fix it, when I called back 10 seconds later the same man answered the phone and started pretending to speak in a different tone of voice acting as if he didn’t know what had happened. He then claimed to be the delivery driver who had just left my house 30 seconds previously (which is a 10 minute drive away from the shop!) They are complete liars and their food is garbage. I’ve never seen a manipulative pizza takeaway place, but there you go! Avoid them at all costs.

I was there just now pressing the door bell and knocking on the window. I could see two guys inside. I swear one of them saw me, but I was simply ignored. You shouldn't advertise if you don't want to work late nights.

For collection these guys get the job done very well. I always go for collection save money and time

Asked him whether my order is placed or not he kept on saying that they haven’t got it, so place it again. After having a word with manager even he was not interested in listening to my complaint about the staff. Seems like no one in-store was interested in giving customer service. I doubt even the person who was talking to me was even manager of the store. Absolute shame never experienced this kind of customer service from domino’s. I hope the top management see this comment and take some action against this unacceptable service.

Since a few weeks im getting the poorest pizza and “garlic bread” without any garlic. 👎🏻

The preparation and pick up of the food was swift. The place was clean, however the food became cold really quickly. Please use a stronger heat lamp for the food waiting on dispatch. Also please provide us with more tissues in the bag, thank you.

Too bad dominos.com doesn’t accept credit cards from variety of countries. They only accept cards from like 5 countries and the UK. They definitely losing business to competition.

Pizza seemed to have been held the wrong way as all the toppings came off. Then called in roland redeem a pizza and they said all complaints have to go through head office. Shame website doesn't let me pick which dominos to order from. Chap on the phone rude too.

Wie ich finde gibt es dort eine der besten Pizzen. Jedoch gibt es dort keine spezielle Speisekarte für Pizzen, sondern man darf sich seine Pizza selber zusammenstellen. Man kann dort alles auswählen vom Rand bis zum Belag. Meiner Meinung nach lohnt es sich die Pizza dort auszuprobieren.

Would give a 0 if I could. I've just moved to the area and ordered from the Wapping store at 8pm last night. At about 8:30, I checked the tracker and it said my pizza had been delivered (which it hadn't, or at least not to me!). I rang up the store and they answered. I told them that the tracker showed my pizza had been delivered when it hadn't. I'd even specifically put driver instructions on to ask for me by name when delivering! The guy I was speaking to checked and said that the driver had marked it as delivered about 15-20 mins before I rang. When I insisted that I hadn't received my pizza, I was put on hold and he came back on to tell me that my driver had been in an accident (but had somehow managed to mark my pizza as delivered) and that they'd send a new one out. Wasn't offered any kind of compensation or anything. The driver that came was totally silent, seemed put out at having to come out and didn't acknowledge me except to hand over the pizza. When I opened it, there was barely any cheese in the middle, it was lukewarm and was not a pleasant experience. I've been ordering from the Domino's near Friern Barnet for a year and have never received service like this! Will NOT be ordering from them again!

Pathetic service. I live two doors away, literally, and they can never get my order delivered on time. This is the second and last time I'm ordering from them. I always see the drivers hanging around on the side road, on Artichoke Hill, chilling and smoking, but whenever you need food delivered they are suddenly short on drivers.

After 45 minutes no update on tracker, and no answer on phone - went down in person as I live quite close. Feel bad for the staff, working very hard and as fast as they can (and somehow still polite) - but totally undermanned. Not enough chefs, not enough drivers, but the guys who are there are run of their feet. Walked pizza home - hot and tasty. Shame that they can't get enough help!

use this store second time in the last 1month as I've just recently moved to shadwell area on both occasions the pizza was cold and was pre ordered for 9.00pm sharp.as the time i get home after finishing work on both occasions waa informed by the person who answers the phone he will resend me a new pizza which will take another 30 till 40 mins if i had the time to wait that long i wouldn't order the pizza feom before for a certain time. so was then told i orderd the pizza at 8.30 which i recived an email from dimons which clearly states i orderd the pizza at 8.05pm. if you dnt want to waste your money or reheat a pizza that you orderd for 5mins after you arrive home do not use this branch as the serive in stamford hill and hornsey is 5star allways boiling hot and perfect service. never ever would i use this branch again.

They give your collection orders to the wrong people and try to give you something else that you didn’t order. Completely incompetent.

New management has completely RUINED this otherwise ok branch. Waited nearly 2 HOURS for my cold pizzas when ordering at peak times, this is the 2nd time this happened!! Upon calling the lady says they are short on drivers and nothing she can do as a way of appeasement, This never happened before ! WHY ARE YOU SHORT ON DRIVERS?? I was staying nearby for my belated birthday trip to London. I work for the NHS so get 50% discount on collection. Came here and ordered my chosen pizza. Staff were friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and could not be more friendly and helpful than they were.

i had to wait 40 mins for the pizza to even be at 'baking' status via the online tracking service. staff extremely rude, this particular pizza place is horrible in terms of both food and particularly service!!!!!

Cant go wrong with dominos... I absolutely adore these places and often order deliveries that come straight to my front door.. pizzas are divine and all the staff I have come across have been polite and nice.. Will recommend and definetly be ordering more pizzas!!
