The staff aren’t very nice at all. They aren’t helpful and they don’t are about kids. Avoid - there are better options around and the food isn’t that great either.

Cada vez que visita nuestra hija en Londres tenemos desayuno en la primera mañana de Kruger después de la fecha de llegada. Tienen una buena selección de desayuno. El sabor es bueno, el servicio bien y el precio también está bien. La próxima vez que sin duda vuelve como sabes, coger lo que quieras

La comida es promedio cuando obtienen su orden correcta. Totalmente caro y el peor servicio al cliente que he tenido. Evitar a toda costa. Están utilizando productos alimenticios de baja calidad y cobrando precios de estrellas Michelin. Desearía que su negocio se cerrara. Todos se quejan de eso. Vi que el chef se hurgaba la nariz mientras cocinaba y luego recogió mi tocino con las manos desnudas. Huelga decir que me negué a pagar y comer, luego se volvieron desagradables. Lugar horrible.

Only bought a flat and it was horrible, moody staff and tiny cup means I'll never be going. Acknowledged there again!

A las 17 h del 26 de enero de 2018, pedimos un café y chocolate caliente, el personal femenino parecía que ella no quería trabajar aquí, no era amigable en absoluto, tomó más de 15 minutos solo para nuestro pedido, sin contacto visual, ignorando a los clientes, etc. Afortunadamente había otro miembro del personal que nos ayudó y nos dio un mejor servicio al cliente.

Used to go here most Saturdays when at work with the lads. As I was standing waiting to pay, I looked through the window in the door out to the kitchen. The chef was taking food off the hotplate with his bare hands. The funny thing is, in his other hand, he had a pair of tongs! We haven't been back there since, and nor will we. Disgusting if you ask me! YUKKK...

We went here for breakfast again and we can only say they keep the speed of serving as well as the choice was okay for the breakfast. We will certainly come back visiting London again.

The menu is basic, the staff are not very attentive even though it was empty when we went they never checked up on us at any point. We had to call for the menu, for water, for the card machine which never came so had to go up and pay, The food at breakfast was warm as opposed to hot and felt overpriced for what it was.

The bubble and squeak is blooming amazing! Staff are really really efficient and the menu has lots of choice! I always have to visit when in at CW!

Krüger en Cabot Square. Perfecto para zumos frescos. Los batidos son agradables, con un montón de opciones diferentes. Excelente para el desayuno. El servicio es muy agradable.

Estar en Londres por 10 días y no estaba dispuesto a hacer el desayuno de café en el Parque Kruger Canary Warf es un buen lugar para desayunar. Llegamos temprano y casi el único. Después pedimos el desayuno que estaba allí en el breve período de tiempo. El gusto por el desayuno inglés era bueno.

Trovandosi al centro del quartiere finanziario è ottimo per un pranzo veloce con il punto molto a favore che fa anche panini caldi e non solo sandwich da frigorifero.

Went here for brunch - ordered a toasted sausage sandwich and a toasted bacon sandwich. The menu said with chips, but we didn't want chips so we asked the waitress if we could have them without chips. She said certainly. When I came to pay the bill, they charged us the full price, including the chips. I queried this and she said it was a set price. I firmly believe that she should have told us when we ordered that the price would be the same without chips! £5.50 is expensive for a sandwich on it's own - even at Canary Wharf! Won't go back.

Wow, I'm on a roll. Third disaster restaurant in a row. Please let this be the last. Bland decor, soporific service, watery cappuccino and average English breakfast. I never want to see this place again.

We visited for breakfast and I have to say for the price we couldn't fault it. It's nothing special but you can pay twice as much in London for worse food than this.

As our hotel charged a lot of money for breakfast we ventured into Canary Wharf to see what was on offer. Quite a few places were more for breakfast on the move, but we spotted Kruger and the menu looked promising in the window. The staff were friendly and I am surprised by some of the previous reviews saying they received poor service as this wasn't the case on our visit. Our order was taken promptly and delivered without too much wait. We both opted for the Bubble and Squeak which comprised eggs (we had scrambled), back bacon and the bubble and squeak. It was tasty and filling and at £6 was considerably cheaper than the £25 we were quoted in our hotel!

I attempted to order a "build your own" sandwich, as stated on the menu. I wanted cheddar cheese, emmental cheese, gammon ham and parma ham which you would have thought would be simple enough. The guy tutted, and told me that I simply wanted a "ham and cheese" sandwich, as if there was only one variety of both. I asked for pickle and he said no. In the end, I gave up trying to communicate with him given his obvious hatred of the general public (and probably himself) and let him just make want he wanted me to have. It was horrible, soggy and bland.According to my colleagues and some of the other reviews on here, this seems to be a frequent occurrence so I don't think I'll be going back.

Visited twice in the last month and was very hungry so had the full English breakfast. Good ratios of all items, cooked well, nae too greasy. Good feed, quick service, fit for purpose.

Probably one of the best breakfast places in Canary Wharf in terms of selection and quality of food. However, more often than not, the ordering experience involves one very rude and unhelpful cashier, a 50% chance of your order being wrong the first time around and a long waiting time for any of the egg dishes. The food is good, the portions are big and decent value for money which usually makes it worth it. But the whole experience could be greatly improved by hiring better trained, more polite customer facing staff!

Had Eggs Benedict. Hollandaise had split & eggs were totally hard all the way through. Friendly, quick service - shame the food was so poor.

I was working in Canary Wharf today and on Friday, and I had only 15 minutes to dash out and buy a late breakfast/early lunch. On Friday I had a Peanut Bircher Muesli which was totally yummy, and today I bought Chicken Thigh with Quinoa, Olives, and Broccoli Salad which was lovely, and I brought home a small pot of Chocolate Nut Bliss Balls which I have just started and they are devine! I only work in Canary Wharf two days a month but would love to know where else I can buy such delicious food.

Questo locale si divide in 2 parti. Da un lato un locale chiuso che offre colazioni inglesi e internazionali con posto a sedere. Fuori una bancarella dove fanno succhi freschi di vario genere ottimi e salutari.Abbiamo sempre preso dei succhi la mattina come colazione e non possiamo che consigliarli.

Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, got back to my office to find it had mushrooms & tomatoes ... I hate mushrooms!!! Had to throw it in the binNo website / number to call or make a complaint either, last time I will be visiting this sandwich shop !!

Great place, really nice staff that want to give you just what you want. Fast service of the basic breakfast style stuff.The cafe is around the side (don't think it's the fast food counter out front) so many miss it.

The staff were very rude. Some were too busy in their own conversation to even acknowledge customers whereas the lady who served me did not speak a word to me at all - she didn't even tell me how much my food cost and just waited until I put my card in the machine. The food is not great either. Definitely would not recommend.

Krüger is a great place to go for an English breakfast, they serve a proper (big) cup of tea too!The staff are friendly and the food is good. It brings a little touch of the classic greasy spoon atmosphere to the middle of Canary Wharf. And that is exactly what this place is.. a smartened up greasy spoon, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

La colazione in questo locale, che apparentemente ha moltissime cose in vetrina, è appena sufficiente. Il caffè espresso o il cappuccino, sono da evitare. Quello americano migliore. Sono invece buoni gli yogurt di vario tipo. Da evitare anche le paste. Ma la cosa più strana è che ti mettono tutto in varie buste di carta, molto carine, con il loro logo, ma tu non sai dove appoggiarti. Mentre nel locale accanto sempre della stessa catena, dove hanno anche i panini, ma con un'altra cassa ti puoi sedere nei tavoli. Mah!In compenso il servizio è ottimo, cordiale e veloce. I prezzi piuttosto cari, ma nella media.

Stopped by for breakfast. Wasn't expecting to see what was on the menu based on surroundings. Had bacon, eggs with bubble & squeak. While rest of plate was mediocre, the bubble & squeak was delightful. Nothing exceptional about the place, but would possibly stop by again when next at CW.

Bought a chicken wrap from here when we were quickly passing through. It was awful, greasy and consequently had bonded itself to the cardboard. The chicken was revolting. At nearly £5 insult was added to injury, never never again.....

I had tea with milk. It was the English Breakfast blend and tasted really good. My husband had the English Breakfast and he really enjoyed it. There was a lot of food for a very good price. I wish I could have tried the smoothies, they looked amazing.

I found out only after dining here a few times and finding the food awful, that the food standards agency gave this place 1/5. Everything i've ordered off this menu, and i've been around 5 times, is bland and overcooked. Sometimes it's too lemony, sometime's it's too greasy. Essentially the food is always bad and the service is consistent. Do avoid.

Excellent Cumberland sausage sandwich with a first class coffee for a reasonable price, cannot ask more than that!

We went for breakfast, menu looks good and smoothies and fresh juice were good. However we had eggs florentine both eggs were over cooked and the spinach served was overdone and watery.Given our breakfast came to nearly £40 we felt it was not good value for money and wouldn't return.

Been here a couple of times on a Sunday. The all day breakfast is pretty good, portions are well sized and price is reasonable too.

My partner and I visited here for breakfast. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated. Within seconds 2 different waitresses on 2 different occasions asked if we were ready to order, which was slightly annoying. My partner ordered a full English breakfast and I ordered a sausage toastie. Both were good however I found the bread quite hard, to be honest i'm not a fan of bloomer bread. Their Mocha's and hot chocolates were lovely!!Don't get caught out by their smoothie prices as they have a smoothie place next door which are cheaper and they also go next door to get your smoothie and you get charged more. Doesn't make sense. However their smoothie's are to die for!!

Went here with my sister and brother-in-law for brunch. Interesting menu, everything seems to be offered its chips (ok, fries!) I ordered the all-day breakfast burrito, my sister eggs and bro in law full English. All of it was ok, but nothing special. The chips proved to be a tad too much fatty carb for me. The other side of the restaurant seems to offer interesting sandwiches / wraps / salads. Staff are friendly and ambience is on, if a bit 'sterile café' - kinda the vibe for Canary Wharf - applied, rather than real atmosphere.

Kruger Cafe is just the other side of the road from my offices and they are preparing the most healthier salads and lunch packs for only £5 or a little more...Service is also very nice.

We stayed at The Marriott but breakfast is £22 each there. So we decided to go to Krugers instead and both ate for less than £20! Lovely coffee and I asked for a toasted muffin with scrambled egg and two rashers of bacon which wasn't on the menu. They were more than happy to oblige. They do full breakfast for around £7.50. I would definitely go back here.

We have stayed at the nearby Marriott hotel twice on weekend sightseeing trips. Instead of taking the hotel breakfast we decided to find out what was available for breakfast nearby. We found this place. The food was good value, good quality and the service prompt. Would come back here If we stay in the area again.

Miserable waitress. Starting to get the face she deserves. Bought chicken and chorizo rice to heat up that evening. Rice not cooked (inedible) chicken dry and fatty. Whole dish greasy. Don't know how you can mess up something this simple. From my experiences of this place they can't even make a cheese sandwich taste nice. Disastrous. Lots of choice, all bad!!

I have been visiting Kruger once in a while for many years. On the plus side this is an independent (non-chain) business, a rare thing in the corporate atmosphere of Canary Wharf where one can only imagine what the estate in charging in rent. Unfortunately I am sure that the quality of the food here is declining. It's easy to make buying decisions that cut the cost of an English breakfast and I believe that Kruger have done quite a bit of that recently. On my last visit the quality of the food was not good and the preparation pretty poor too - burned toast, burned bacon, barely cooked eggs, separated hollandaise sauce, etc. I hope they will try to reverse this trend because Kruger used to be decent.

Indifferent, bland, unimaginative food, felt ill afterwards and colleagues have similar views. Will not go back

One of my favourite haunts when working down the wharf. Fast, efficient service, attractive prices and attentive service. Proper British breakfasts done well and served hot and tasty. What is not to like? Perfect

Ich konnte es nicht trinken, weil die Zutaten gefroren waren. Ich habe die Kellnerin darauf aufmerksam gemacht, und Sie hatte wohl einen schlechten Tag. Fing an sehr laut zu werden und ich bat Sie den Manager zu unserem Gespräch dazuzukommen. Dieser jedoch hat nichts gemacht, hat nur gemeint "ich muss meine Säfte nicht hier trinken, wenn ich unzufrieden bin". Sehr kundenfreundlich!!!! Nie wieder!

The staff are a little abrupt and service a little slow. The place is ok for a quick snack and rest while shopping. The menu is varied and the food was very nice.

I visit Kruger few times a week on a take away basis as their food is usually excellent and healthy. It's also very different from other places in terms of choice. Great juice bar and protein choices. The only downside is the lady at the till in the evenings. Extremely rude! Doesn't say hello or thank you or smile or anything she should be doing being in that type of business.

I have lunch there from time to time as I work in the area.Take-away counters are fast and got lots of ready made sandwiches, wraps, salada ...etc.Seating side got few nice options like tagin, fish-n-chips, salmon ...etc.Overall they provide good service at reasonable prices.

Arrived here with the munchies after a night of drinks celebrating a birthday. We had been looking for somewhere that served a full English for about 15 mins as we didn't want a coffee shop croissant or muffin. Great food and service and actually quite reasonably priced considering we were in Canary Wharf. Highly recommend this place

Breakfast choice was good and not pricey. However they include service charge on the bill. Serve breakfast 6am -6pm.

Amazing little cooked breakfast, real sausages, thick maple bacon and portabello mushroom with thick white doorstop. Great value for what we had, full to the brim for a day in London. Will be back tomorrow

When in London we always breakfast here! Proper breakfast stuff cooked well and in nice surroundings with excellent service

I ordered 2 slices of granary toast with butter / marmite and a large latte.I got half a cup of latte.I specifically asked the girl at the till to please ensure that the marmite was spread all over the toast. Got to the office and found the toast was completely dry with a tiny smear of marmite in the very centre of each slice. The rest of the toast was bone dry. I found the staff to be rude and they obviously dont listen.

Their eggs royal doesn't come with a muffin or any bread or hollandaise sauce. This is a fraud, and eggs royal everywhere else come with muffin

Always good value for money food at Kruger and quick service. They used to label their food vegan, gluten free or Vegetarian but that has disappeared? Really frustrating as it was an easy guideline to what you can eat if you follow a way of eating.. although i notice they still put Halal!! please can you put the guidelines back for all ways of eating not just the religious ones! 4 starts for food but 1 for changing the labeling...

Good for a quick cheap sit down meal in Canary Wharf. Don't expect anything fancy - but the food is quick and ok.The staff could be a little friendlier - i attend here at least once a week, and getting a smile or any pleasantries from staff is a tough order!

Okay for grab and go with very friendly staff (other than the miserable owner) but in my opinion the food is terrible and seems to be reheated and poor value.

I ordered one of the smoothies and I asked the waitress if she can make it without ice. she did it with ice and she started discussing with me. After she got very rude and unpolite I asked about her name (Danielle) and wanted to speak to the manager. He was even worth, he just said, that the waitress is his best worker and she cant be unpoilte.it was like a joke. I left.... it is really sad. Noone ever treated me like that and this place is just expensive and unfriendly!If you are at Canary Wharf - get a smoothie from waitrose - it is cheaper and I am sure the quality is better.... and no one will be yelling at you

Basic surroundings, with variable service. The cafe food is good value, but this is not somewhere to eat out - just a bolt hole for something very basic and cheap.

Probably the best café in Canary Wharf. Great service and choice. The breakfasts are good quality and the staff will always oblige if you are fussy - Bacon sandwich no fat! Quality sausages, my benchmark for a decent café. Its not top notch but certainly deserves a "very good"Great lunch service from the Takeaway too + the smoothie Bar if you are hungover or feeling healthy!

Just to mention that the staff over there is extremely rude, at least weekends. I have been there 2 times in weekends and honestly, even if the food is nice, I will not go again :-(

Good cafe in Canary Wharf. Excellent for healthy, fast lunches. Meals are tasty and servings are ample. Recommended.

The food is tasty and the portion sizes are immense, I go there with me and my friends at lunch about once every two weeks as a treat because they serve you quickly there and we dont feel rushed even though there is a queue. There is no place like it in canary wharf for value and i always get a take away box. Dont know what the people below are talking about service wise these people are efficient !! and they do smile when we are there :)

Ate here for the first time last weekend when meeting friends. The menu is good with a variety of food to choose from, and all at reasonable prices especially considering the area. When it arrived, the food was good. Freshly prepared and large portion sizes. Unfortunately the meal was slightly spoilt by the poor attitude of the waitresses. They stood waiting for our order, leaving us no time to look properly at the menu. When asked questions about the food, their manner was rude and abrupt and they spoke loudly to each other in their own language. The bill was incorrect as we were charged for too many drinks. When I challenged this, the manageress argued that we had in fact drunk the number of drinks charged for, despite our empty cans still being on the table. It is unlikely I will visit again due to the very poor customer service, which is a shame as the food is good value for money.

Don't come here for the service, the waitress are miserable as hell. However the food is good and good value, smoothies little over priced.

This is our go to breakfast place, we always take visitors here for breakfast as they do a great full English (and a lovely veggie version for me).The pricing is good value too and their juices are fresh! We also order the takeaway options for lazy Sunday mornings. You can't ask for better value £5 per a box and you get a full English in it plus toast.Definitely a great place!

It is amazing that you can have such an excellent good quality Full English Breakfast for an amazing price in the heart of Canary Wharf! Good quality ingredients fast and efficient served by very stern waitresses who could smile occasionally however, the complete menu of good quality extremely reasonably priced makes up for the stern but efficient service. A firm favourite on the Wharf when you need comfort food, fast, clean, exceptional value.

I'm a regular customer and I really like this place: good food (especially eggs royal), fair price (eggs royal for 6.50), great juices and good service. I'd recommend it for breakfast and brunch.

The breakfast at Kruger Canary Wharf is quality and has been consistent for years. The full english is so good and popular that they offer it ALL DAY. Best breakfast I've had in London and at a very reasonable price.

The take out section is better value for money, however the restaurant is speedy food. Favourites are breakfast and the chicken tagine. I had the seafood risotto yesterday which was rather bland but today's lamb curry was full of flavour and the meat was tender. I have given it a four as the takeout section is really good but the restaurant food can sometimes let it down

We were looking for a quick place to eat and decided to stop by Kruger. It was clean, bright, and not crowded at the time, so we decided to give it a try. A majority of the staff members weren't native English speakers, and weren't familiar with many items on the menu. Our waitress was grumpy and unpleasant and the service was extremely slow. The servers were very slow delivering dessert and the check. The food was average, however the juices and smoothies were good. And in the end, they overcharged us, but they fixed it as soon as we brought it to their attention.

I only ordered a smoothie and I'm unsure of why I actually did so as the previous day I had seen a very bad-tempered looking woman roll her eyes behind a customers back and mumble something to her colleague. I was served by the same two women who did not smile once despite me being extremely polite and smiley (I thought I would do so to see if they were generally grumpy all the time or perhaps yesterday was a bad day, but no.. it must be all the time). The smoothie itself was really nice so if you just want a nice drink and don't care much about service you should definitely go there but if you're not looking to get your day/mood dampened then you probably shouldn't go.

Had lunch in here on a friday very busy but served very quickly food good and the prices resonable menu was good something for everyone

Stumbled across Kruger on a recent trip to London. We were looking for something quick but tasty to have for lunch as we were in a bit of a rush... We only visited the takeaway part so I can't comment on the Cafe per say, however the selection of pastas, sandwiches, wraps, soups etc. was great. There were so many healthy options too which was a refreshing change (especially for my bodybuilder boyfriend). On the Saturday we had mushroom soup and a Cajun wrap which were lovely and we also went back on the Sunday & had 2 Chicken Escalope, parma ham, mozzarella and chilli ciabattas which were lovely but couldn't taste any chilli? Would suggest some tomato based sauce and would have been perfect. Well worth a visit if you're passing through Cabot Place.

Had the burger and chips - what could go wrong with that? The burger had almost no flavour, the chips were floury and the coffee that came with it bitter. The bright lighting makes the place less than comfortable. A truly naff experience, and far too expensive (a tenner for the burger & chips) for what was on offer. Won't be back.

I have eaten here a number of times, and it is "nice enough"....but given for sitting in there is a premium, it just doesnt have quality.....it has always felt a bit rushed and slap dashi think as a lunch take away (cheaper) its ok, but not to sit inso many options in wharf.....go elsewhere

Kruger is excellent in any sense! The food is absolutely delicious, for breakfast i warmly recommend the burritos and the selection of eggs! The coffee is perfect and surprisingly cheaper than Starbucks! They offer a wast variety of freshly squeezed juices! Lovely place, it is my favourite in CW and I definitely recommend it!

We have eaten here twice now for weekend brunch and had different things each time. It is not cheap and frankly the food just seems lacking in taste. Despite it's convenience for us we won't be going back. Very disappointed.

I have been here 3 times this week. 2 out of the three were bad experiences. The first time, the chicken curry and rice was ok. I asked the lady behind the counter if the tagine dishes were microwaved or not. She said they were in the evening but freshly cooked at lunch time. I went there today at lunch time and found that it was not only microwaved, but microwaved to death! The food was heated for a long time. The plastic containers had contorted out of shape, the rice was hard the chicken was even harder. My friend at work commented that the colour wasn't right and he claims to be a tagine connoisseur. I couldn't finish the meal as I found the chicken inedible, most of it ended up in the bin. 2 days ago I went there and had a chicken teriyaki ciabatta. The lady told me it was good, the same lady that told me the tanginess were freshly made. The ciabatta was poor quality and over done, it had no taste and was dry. The chicken had no taste of teriyaki sauce at all. Very disappointing.The staff were not interested and very rushed at lunch time. If you feel passionately about your food, avoid this place. However there is wide variety, If you are in a rush to grab something quick then it's ok. The fresh juices are fine.

I discovered Kruger a few months ago and it is now my regular stop for breakfast and coffee. Excellent food with great value for money - which you don't often see in the Wharf.

I've eaten at Kruger before and it's usually good. I usually leave feeling as though I got pretty good food for a reasonable price. Not so much of that today.I opted for the chicken burrito, which turned out to be a processed chicken kofta (not even remotely chickeny in appearance) with some almost brown lettuce in a squashed and toasted wrap. The portion size was big, as always, so if the food had been a bit more in line with expectations I would have been very happy. My colleague went for the fish and chips, which were really great as usual. Nicely cooked, generous portion. I would have happily swapped plates with him but my selection really wasn't appealing. We both had a Kruger smoothie - these are always excellent.The restaurant itself is in a good location near Cabot Square, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A real shame about the quality of the chicken burrito - if they take it off the menu, I doubt it would be missed. Next time I go, it'll definitely be the fish and chips.

When recently in London, my son and daughter-in-law suggested that we get up early and head into Canary Wharf. The reward for an early Saturday morning excursion was ... breakfast at Kruger! On approaching the restaurant I was impressed by the apparent cleanliness and simplicity of décor ... functional but pleasant.The service was most warm and helpful and the waitress was very, very pleasant. Indeed when paying I was enquiring about the origins of the restaurant, especially the name, and our conversation was delightful and informative. As for the breakfast ... what can I say? Being from Northern Ireland where we make the world-renown Ulster Fry, it takes an outstanding breakfast to equal it, and most full English don't ... but Kruger's had and did! The full English breakfast really set us up for the day in Canary Wharf. It was 'full' of everything necessary, non-greasy, hot and the toast was excellent. We enjoyed 5 such that morning! Also, the coffee was good!I am looking forward to being back in Canary Wharf again soon and the first place I want to go is ... Krugers ... my first choice @ Canary Wharf!

Having lived in Canary Wharf for over three year, and since moving, continue to visit regularly I ofetn visit Kruger for breakfast at the weekend - and its certainly getting a lot busier than it use to be when I first started visiting!Actually, wihtin Canary Wharf, this is one of the only places that offer a full breakfast menu. Good quality food, with good portion sizes and delicious smoothies as well. Last time I visited it was very busy so was placed on a tiny table right next to the draughty door - not the most enjoyable experience but one of those things I guess.My only slight niggle is the staff. Perhaps it would make for a much nicer experience if they didnt seem so miserable and impatient all the time. I understand its busy but just smile and enjoy - better than an empty restaurant!Would highly reccomend.
