The best restaurants in Southwark London

Love this place, peaceful and the staff are incredibly friendly.

This was without a doubt the worst Spanish food I have ever had the displeasure of eating. To add injury to insult it wasn’t even cheap. Avoid this hell hole at all costs! Arroz brut served with basmati rice. Prawns where served at a temperature hotter than the temperature of a nuclear reactor. The croquetas were circular which I have never seen before in my life. The only saving grace with the wine was drinkable!

Food is good value for money. Delivery service is always good timing! They forget my drink sometimes but other than that no complaints.

This is not Thai food. Food felt like it was being trying to be too avant garde. Somtam I had was not somtam. Tasteless and no where near the taste that you normally associated with it. I do not think fish sauce or lime even touch the salad. The person cooking is not Thai. If they were they should renounce their Thai nationality. In the Pad Thai I could taste more ketchup than anything else. Don't call it Thai. Even if a was a combination of "unique" Thai and Malay as stated on their website then leave the Thai bit out. It's an insult to our pallette. Price does not reflect quality.

Unfortunately, this was my worst experience at any Honest location in England. We ordered two burgers and a jar of lemonade, along with tap water. The drinks weren’t brought to us right away—we waited about 20 minutes and eventually had to call a waiter to remind them. Only then were the drinks finally served. When the burgers eventually arrived, it was well beyond the expected time—and they were very cold. I had specifically asked for my burger to be medium rare, but it was served well done. The side dish was also cold and not very tasty.

Thank you so much for the lovely, attentive and personal service. From the reception staff asking whether it was a special occasion, to the lovely wait staff, and the personal touch of the "Congratulations" complimentary sorbet, the whole evening was exactly what I wanted, from start to finish. It's refreshing to come to London and experience value, quality and service in a restaurant with a beautiful setting.

The chicken shish fusion flavour was delicious and really nicely seasoned. For a £12.80 wrap though, I expected it to be a bit more filling considering Turkish wraps charge roughly the same amount and are filled far more, especially with at least more salad.

The hotel reception could not do enough for me. And my wife, it was our 30th anniversary, and what a spectacular , thanks to the shard 10/10

20.05.25 1pm The guy dishing out the beans at the first station was completely devoid of any customer service, no greeting, barely acknowledged me. He then proceeded to give my tortilla a nice bath of pinto bean water that rendered the burrito a soaking wet mess. Meagre portion of meat offered; i asked for DOUBLE chicken and was summarily served 1 and 3/4 spoons of chicken, double surely means multiplying the initial offering? Dishonest and greedy practice. Cheers,won’t be back.
