The experience at the hotel …….was exceptional. We will come back here with the greatest pleasure. A 5-star luxury hotel with a very good quality/price ratio, quality services, very attentive to customer requirements. Everything was superlative, there are no words to describe the perfection of this hotel, the rooms are very large with very comfortable beds and the cleanliness is on par. All the staff are perfectionists, attentive to every detail and to the customer's comfort. The food is extremely abundant, diversified even for the most demanding person. We will definitely come back with pleasure and we will recommend this hotel to our friends.

This hotel is outstanding! I spent a good while with my family looking for the right hotel for us to stay in. A nice treat, cause we’ve had bad experiences in the past with hotel! I must say though the rooms are divine, everything is clean and tidy. Plenty of clean towels for everyone, a top class TV in each room, kingsize beds that are very comfortable and the list goes on! The services are a treat, the staff talk to you like their family, the food and drinks were a big luxury everything about it all is spot on. The location is in a great spot, the view is one of the best views I’ve ever looked at in a big City area. It makes it cooler that you’re right next to Londons big bridge, the Big Ben! And the water which the hotel overlooks too. If you are looking for the best experience in London with the best hotel in London! Then I would fully recommend you to come over

I had an incredible stay at Shangri-La The Shard! The service was top-notch-staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish. The room was beautiful, with breathtaking views of London. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom felt like a spa with a great rain shower and big bathtub. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options, and the cocktails at GÖNG bar were the perfect way to enjoy the city skyline. The location is perfect for exploring London. If you're looking for a luxury stay with amazing views, this is the place. Can't wait to come back!

Really nice atmosphere with an amazing view of the city, especially at night. The customer service is amazing, and there is beautiful live music. I really enjoyed the food - found no fault at all, and our waiter for the night, Medina, helped make our night the more enjoyable.

Great hotel for views of London. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Service in reception could be more attentive and more personal and need more staff for busier times. Sky pool and sauna is awesome. Recommend booking early morning 7am slot for quieter and photo opportunities. Allow time for lifts at check out as there's only two lifts and get full easily. The doorman and security staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our blind in the room but the reception staff member was very helpful and checked up on us when he saw us to make sure it was fixed.

Really bad we booked for my daughters 18th birthday and the room stank if sewers and then to top it off the water stopped working so we couldn’t take showers . The Window was also loose and it was horrible and scary for my children. They couldn’t sleep . This was my worst experience in a hotel . They offered me a complimentary stay back and now every time I’ve tried to book either they don’t have the dates or they are making me pay half for a second room . When originally we had one . Really Bad customer service take ages emailing back and don’t return calls

I visited for a spa day and had such a disappointing experience. Firstly the masseuse gave me a different treatment to what I had booked. The room was incredibly cold and uncomfortable, so much so that the masseuse kept apologising for it during the treatment! Then after my treatment I was taken back to reception by a member of staff to make payment. None of the staff knew how much to charge me so I was made to sit and wait for 20 minutes in the reception area wearing only a robe(!) with guests walking by and people going in and out of the TING restaurant entrance. Just super uncomfortable and embarrassing. I felt so exposed and was freezing after my massage in a freezing cold room. I have emailed the concierge to complain and have just been ignored. Not at all what I would have expected from a 5star hotel. Really disappointed and won't be going back. Lovely views but awful experience otherwise. Not at all the relaxing spa day I had hoped for.

Last weekend, we were at Shangri-La The Shard in London, and honestly, the experience was incredible. The panoramic view from the room was crazy, and the level of luxury really added a plus. The service was top notch, professional without being too intrusive. Special mention to the infinity pool with a view of the city, a real treat, and the breakfast was super good with lots of choice. In short, a classy and memorable stay, I highly recommend it if you want to experience a unique moment in London!

My wife and I stayed at the Shangri-La for our vacation in London. We had the pleasure of staying for nine days. It is the nicest hotel we've stayed at and has set the bar for other luxury hotels in the area. The entire staff at the Shangri-La went above and beyond for us during our stay. From the check in, to the people carrying our luggage, the wait staff at the restaurants and bars, to the door men, it was a memorable time that we're still talking about. Needless to say, the money shot is the view from the rooms. Our room had a great view that we never got tired of. We slept with the shades half drawn on the windows, so we could see London at night if we woke up. The cost of the stay in not inexpensive, but well worth it if it's within your budget. Thank you Shangri-La for a great time that we'll remember forever.

Lovely views but service and rooms are not up to standard for a 5 star hotel charging the price they do. The views of London are amazing, especially at night, but the whole experience is lacking that luxury feel that you get from other hotels charging this price range. We booked at relatively cheap time and were also upgraded to a "Deluxe City View room" due to booking with Amex FHR which also gave us other perks such as 12pm check in and 4pm check out (otherwise 4pm and 11am). At check in we were awkwardly asked if we required the late check out and it felt like they would have preferred if we didn't take it. The room was pretty small and the wardrobe opened within centimetres of the bed making it quite inaccessible at times having to close and open them constantly to get anything out. I would have been unhappy if I paid £1000+ for a room like this at peak times. In the Sky Lounge we were told we had 30 mins to leave as another booking needed the table, we were not told about this when we were seated. Certain aspects like this felt it was a numbers game and they were trying to get as many people through the doors rather than catering well for the people actually staying there. Some aspects of the service were substandard and felt disconnected and not good enough for a luxury 5 star hotel. The views are great but you can see them from any of the restaurants and save a considerable amount of money.

Beautiful views, excellent rooms, and really incredible service! If you’re looking for a hotel in London to celebrate a very special occasion, this is the one! We booked a few nights in one of the “Iconic City View” rooms. This featured incredible views of a number of major landmarks in London. The room even came with a pair of binoculars and a viewing guide. (Note that not all rooms feature this kind of view, but it was absolutely worth the upgrade!) The room also had a number of very nice luxuries. The bathroom featured heated floors, a spacious shower, japanese-style toilet, and even a heated towel holder. The room, itself, was spacious and had all of the electronics you could expect from a top-tier hotel, from motorized blinds that roll up when you walk into the room, to a nice TV with chromecast. On top of great views and a great room, the hotel has some of the most expert-level staff I’ve ever seen. Any time we needed anything, the Shangri La staff was always there to help, regardless of how strange or inconvenient the request. Looking for things to do in London? Their friendly concierge offered some great recommendations for things to see in the area. Forgot a pair of swim trunks for the infinity pool? They literally had a pair for sale on the other side of the desk. Worried about finding a taxi to the airport on Christmas day? A staff member went above and beyond, helping us late into the night to be sure that we had transportation arranged for the morning.

I was fortunate enough to stay at this 5 star hotel as one of the highest floors in U.K. The rooms are at the top level and they are incredible. Loving the finishing touches and hotel condition. As it was my wife’s birthday the hotel did make something special in our room and greatly appreciated with this. Service was top notch and glad able to be here. Although one thing that we could not enjoy was the infinity pool at the top floor. It was closed for some maintenance. The gym was slightly small judging it is a 5 star hotel. Overall, still a beautiful hotel to stay when you are in London.

A great hotel to stay in for its luxury. Highly recommend for the views from the rooms and bars which are incredible- some of the best views in London! Despite the good bars and attractive design the overall feel of the hotel and rooms is quite corporate, it feels like a business hotel. Room design isn't especially attractive but the amenities are wonderful. I love the pool (also woth amazing views) and the dining options. Room service is all digital and has an amazing selection, the rooms are massive and they have big baths overlooking the city. It feels like a special stay.

Well , the cost it's extremely high and I feel not worth the money for what you get . Everything is over priced but I'll only be told " well it's london and it's the shard " . The views where amazing and the staff where excellent but as big as the suite we stayed in was , it felt compact and the decor is very dated . All I can say is we've done it but probably won't do it again , sorry 😐

Utilized the Amex program’s recommendations and I’m glad we did. We had a beautiful suite on the 47th floor overlooking the tower bridge. The service is second to none, the facilities are impeccably maintained, and the family appreciated the hosts’ consideration of little gifts in the room for the kids etc. If you can swing it, it’s worth the expense.

We stayed here to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary. The rooms were great and view was amazing. Only negative was when we checked out we had been billed for dinner at Ting restaurant. We went to an external restaurant for dinner so certainly wasn't us. Very surprised at that given the name on the reservation should be checked against the room number when signing to room! It was removed from the bill but should never of happened at a nearly £800 a night hotel.

Came here for an industry event. Staff were so lovely and the venue itself was obviously very nice and well-maintained (and comparable to hotels I've visited in Thailand, where hospitality is king).

Stayed for 10 nights for business...and a bit of pleasure too. We loved the room, we felt like the whole city could see us! If you love adventure, if you don't fit into a neat little box, then The Shard is for you. Emerson said "It is not the length of life, but the depth." He must have stayed at The Shard! Or he should have said that it is the number of floors. At the Shard, it is 52 floors.

Wow what a view. Ive never had a view like that from a hotel room and the floor to ceiling windows make it quite special. The room itself was also very nice. The shower is great, the bathtub next to the window is amazing and this might be tmi but the toilet is the greatest toilet ive ever used. Pretty convenient to get to from the airport as its right next to an underground stop but a little inconvenient for walking out the door to site see. Service was overall great and the resturaunt and breakfast were outstanding. Highly recommend

It makes sense for the Shangri-La London to be in the Shard, high above the rest, as they seem peerless among the other London Hotels. The client experience was thoughtful and engaged, from greeting to departure. The rooms are sizable and extremely modern. The gym facility was brand new (though it does get a bit crowded at peak hours, so consider when you plan to go). Throughout the stay the client team provided little treats to the room, making a guest feel welcome. The room and the hotel were meticulously cleaned. Best of all was the view, absolutely breathtaking, a refreshing and energizing experience each morning and evening to look out!

Stayed for one night in the iconic city view room which has 180 degrees views, can't really say more than wow.

El lugar estaba a tope. Nuestra mesa nos permitió espacio y excelentes vistas. El menú era especial con una gran elección. Un miembro de nuestro grupo pidió un plato que no estaba en el acuerdo establecido. Así que la camarera consultó con el chef que lo aceptó. El personal era increíble y, a pesar de estar tan ocupados, fueron muy atentos. Nos preguntaron si la ocasión era especial, nuestros cumpleaños, y nos mimaron con un postre, vasos y nos llevaron a una mesa junto a la ventana para contemplar la vista. This place is perfectly located at the bottom of the Shard and directly outside London Bridge Station. I’ve been here a couple of times and there have been a few changes however the coffee is reasonably priced and has a good selection of quick bites.

My daughter and I dived into Lang having spent most of the day doing the tourist bit in Borough Market and surrounding area and wearing ourselves out in the process. To be honest I expected everything to be hugely expensive but as we were celebrating her birthday I tried not to let that worry me too much and we ordered fizz and cakes as a little treat before setting off on yet more hiking round the sights. In the end we were so chilled and relaxed we stayed for over an hour watching the world around the Shard and just enjoying the very relaxed and "easy" atmosphere. When we got the bill i was pleasantly surprised at the fact that I wasn't going to need a mortgage and consequently I'd definitely go back!

I popped into LANG for a coffee while trying to finish some work! It's the first time that I have been in here, and loved it. Great atmosphere, really cosy and classy. I was fascinated by the coffee glass, and it was delicious. I resisted trying the cakes which looked devine, though I may be tempted next time I visit!

I realise that eating out for me is complicated and that my allergies make me a slightly awkward customer. But I know what I can eat. They offered a full breakfast on the menu as well as slightly smaller options. I asked if I could...

Stopped at the Lang for a quick lunch on first day in London. Nice soups and chicken wraps. Good service and nice surroundings. Do not mistake this place for fine dining but it is a great stop for a quick meal.

Debería haber leído críticas recientes de la Kent oferta'. Carne salada era delgada, rebanadas de muy difícil probablemente (? Pejerreyes, queso sudoroso) de plástico, Sosa sauerkraut y una en un bagel cálido gherkin. No es un sándwich, comida mala, pésima relación calidad-precio. Salmón curado = significa Porción de Salmón curado bien, frotis de crema de queso en una baguette de gran tamaño. No es un sándwich!

Un precio asequible, tratar y toque de lujo para exigentes visitantes. El chocolate caliente es real y los capuchinos perfectos. Servicio amable y te hacen sentir como un millón de dólares. Una gran variedad de pasteles y trata además de ostras! ! ! Sería bueno para reuniones con capacidad para subir el Shard o comienzo para un día de compras.

20 minutes after paying we received a rather rough looking cappuccino in a not particularly busy cafe. Very disappointed. No apology for the wait.

We always visit here after my dads hospital appointment at Guys. This is usually a treat but not today. You have no waitress service now. The tea was cold and is now a pot with a tea bag and they sold us items that they did not even have. The muffins were so dry not good at all. Overall standards have dropped won’t be going again. Such a shame as they had it perfect before. Plus they have one toilet unisex and it was a mess

Comedy of errors! Sandwiches come out as a tiny bagel? But that’s a bagel said the gentleman next to us told it’s a sandwich no it’s a bagel! - so we decided to order two toasted sandwiches sourdough bread, only one came! Lady said she would order a 2nd and send the bill, 30 mins later, asked after our missing sandwich, told it wasn’t ordered in he 1st place !! Explained we had re ordered, 15 minutes later the chef appears to be making a toasted sandwich! Told the waiter it was ready! Over 5 minutes later I had to go to the counter to tell them that was our sandwich getting cold! Arrived and it was in two bits of white bread! - it’s supposed to be sourdough bread, sorry there’s no sourdough !!! Even tho there was half a loaf next to the sandwich toaster - refused to pay the £7 for second toasted Are all the staff new??? as no one had a Scooby do what they were doing !!! Slowest staff ever Bearing in Mind where this cafe is and what you charge .. terrible

Today I ordered a Middle east PLOUGHMAN, was told it would come with Feta CHEESE, it came with some YELLOW RUBBERY cheese & 3 FALAFELS that were at least 3 days old AND COLD, I SENT IT BACK,all they did was heat THE FALAFEL IN THE MICROWAVE, & when i confronted THE WAITRESS SHE ADMITTED IT,I had to ask for my money back where they showed no remorse whatsoever NEVER AGAIN

Sat outside by the entrance to the Shard and had the constant noise from the nearly escalator buzzing in our ears. Service was really slow, not recommended.

Just had a glass of wine and a salad which was all OK but for two was £ 40 +. Siting outside felt a bit grubby,tables were dusty. Service not up to Shangri la standards !

Small coffeeshop situated at the base of the Shard. Hidden away and usually seating available. Very friendly efficient staff and tea / coffee / etc served nicely with a good range of cakes / pastries. Decoration / ambience very contemporary and stylish. Slightly more expensive than Starbucks or Costa but certainly a touch of class !

A good location next to London Bridge Station for a quick coffee and snack. We ordered two toasties. My companion's was fine. I ordered the jerk ham & smoked applewood. It came, with no warning, as a Panini (which I struggled with due to current dental work) and drowned in garlic, which I hate. I had to open the two halves up and scrape out a bit of ham, cheese and soft bread, oh and the chilli bits. The coffee was very strong. Two coffees and two toasties; £20.10. Service good, the rest very disappointing and felt ill the rest of the day.

Lang is a place where I go quite often as my parter works at the Shard. It is a very small cafe, with a slightly luxurious (and therefore expensive) menu full of delicious macaroons, cakes, coffees etc.I tend to go there and wait a few minutes until my parter is done. However, I wouldn't recommend it for someone who's looking for a nice cafe or a great experience.I'll leave as if it was a luxury starbucks, but one of the small ones. The food is great so I think it's worth the price but the place is quite small and the first time I was quite frustrated. There's no jaw falling involved, which is quite different than the other restaurants and bars from the Hotel and Shard in general.Ps: it's in the groundfloor so don't expect amazing views aside from people walking towards the station.
