We’ve eaten in various Thai restaurants in Bangkok and UK and hand on heart can say this is the BEST! We found this restaurant by chance doing a Google search and are so glad we did! The food is phenomenal and the prawns are enormous. The sauces are to die for, all round fantastic. The restaurant has an authentic vibe, no pretentiousness, great service and very clean. Need to go back soon for our Champor Champor fix!

We just came back from Champor Champor, and as always, the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the rendang beef—it's very tasty, and I absolutely love it. It's the best Thai restaurant around London Bridge. We've visited many times, and each time we return with the same pleasure. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is lovely.

A great find round the corner from the Shard. Going to Champor Champor is a terrific experience. The decor is great and sets the atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is very good. They have an impressive menu of Asian cuisine that is cooked to a very high standard. Dishes look great and taste great. I have been several times and the quality has been very good every time.

Really beautiful food! Lots of vegan options too. Very busy and rightly so. Book in advance! Friendly staff. Lovely presentation of food. Not very accessible, as narrow doorway and lots of tables in an unusual shaped space, making you filter between chairs through the restaurant. Can't wait to go again and try other dishes

This restaurant was recommended by my brother, so we took our friends for lunch. The food was excellent and well presented . The decor was impressively exotic and reminded us of our travels to Thailand and Malaysia . Staff were attentive and friendly and when we unexpectedly had a toddler with us, it was no problem for them to provide a high chair and interact playfully with 18 month old. The location is only a short walk from London Bridge station yet it is peaceful ( we went on Sunday) . We were extremely impressed and will definitely go back there and would highly recommend it!

Champor champor promises a fusion of Thai and Malay flavors, but the execution felt more like experimentation gone wrong and a complete fusion fail. Dishes lacked the flavours you'd expect from either cuisine. My banana curry was so bland and tasteless that the accompanying coconut rice was the only flavour I could get out of the dish. The black rice pudding with mango ice cream was also a let down. The ice cream didn’t seem to have any flavour at all and was definitely not mango flavoured. The rice pudding was ok but you can definitely get a lot better out there for a less steep price. In general, prices were quite high for the quality of the food and the type of establishment. However, staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a charming atmosphere with its eclectic mix of decor. But if you’re looking for a truly delicious Thai or Malay meal, this probably isn’t the place and I can give you a list of better places to go in London.

Please don’t waste your money and time by going by the reviews of this place. Honestly we felt cheated. This place is all about presentations, let it be food or interiors. the food is totally average, and not worth what you pay for it. We ordered three dishes. The prawns pad Thai was horribly, goopy and very sweet with no fresh condiments. Also they don’t have any other option for pad Thai than a fancy prawn one. The soft shell crab fried was totally tasteless. Jasmine rice was below average, came in a packet which was surprising. we did not dare order anything else. However, the service was quick and apologetic when we expressed our disappointment. We will never recommend this place to anyone. Money spent £25 per person for lunch.

Food was pretty bad - a green curry full of sugar, but chilli for my guest. A seafood dish for me with masses of chili in the sauce that totally overpowered the dish. Serving staff were inept and couldn't answer basic questions about the menu or pour wine without it landing either on the table on on my lap. Very pricy for the bad experience. The decor isn't bad though. Avoid.

Meh. V average Southeast Asian food at high prices. Beef rendang came swimming in gravy - it should be a dry curry, with the sauce reduced to a glaze. Pan-fried baby squid came swimming in a glutinous sweet sauce. At lower prices it would have been three stars but for the money it needs to be *much* better than this.

Super convenient location to London Bridge Station, colorful fun interior, great warm service, would have given a higher review but I wasn’t that impressed with the food I ordered though I’ll happily go back and try again. We had the banana bread, the spicy mango salad with tofu, the vegan green curry (I’m not vegan but I ordered this thinking it sounded really good. Okra with roasted young green chilli chutney (vegan) £8.95 2. Green papaya, crispy tofu, pomegranate Somtam, Roasted cashew nuts (vegan) £9.50 For mains we ordered the below three dishes- The flavours were so rich. It seemed as though it was all made with a lot of passion. We absolutely licked our bowls clean. I was totally mesmerised. Disappointed Thai restaurant. I would not call it Thai food. 😅 I don’t even where to start. Green curry is not Thai Green curry. No spice, no herbs and extremely sweet. King prawn pad Thai for £20 and the sauce is definitely not pad Thai sauce and prawn tasteless ( felt like frozen for ages). Papaya salad is ok but again no fish sauce in it. Tom yum soup is average. If you want Thai food, I’d recommended you to go to authentic Thai restaurant. 😅 the only good thing is the staff is very friendly.

This is a neighbourhood restaurant for me and the people who work here are really lovely and helpful. There was complimentary banana bread and a spoon of fruit salad to start (a bit off starting with something sweet but we rolled with it). There are plenty of mainstay Thai dishes but we decided to try a different dish this time around. The okra with roasted young green chilli chutney was delicious. For our mains, we ordered the pan fried red snapper with Malaysian sambal sauce. The fish was delicious but the accompanying squid ink linguini felt out of place and would have been nicer served with rice. We also had the beef rendang (tender meat and generous portion) with coconut rice. All in all, nice food and generous portions but it would be nicer if some of the dishes had not been Westernised. Bookings definitely recommended.

I recently dined at Champor-Champor for a straightforward evening out. While the overall food experience was good, I found the green Thai curry with prawns a bit too sweet, and the fusion of Thai and Malay elements seemed to compromise authenticity. Despite not meeting my expectations, I acknowledge that others might still appreciate the restaurant's offerings.

Lively atmosphere, buzzy, tables are a bit cramped together. Meals arrive very quickly. Most plates were very good but they were all much too large - the starters, particularly the duck satay, could have served as a main course quite easily. The beef rendang would have fed two people, albeit both plates were really good. The vegetarian laksa was less successful, had a large quantity of thick udon noodles where rice noodles would have been better. There were some really odd things on the menu given it is supposed to be Thai/Malay cuisine. There were a couple of pasta dishes, a goats cheese course and also one with halloumi. We thought these were very odd and not what we were expecting. It wasn’t a massive menu so it seemed strange to have these. That aside, because the portion size was so huge we wasted a fair amount on our table, would have liked to have known about this as we would have ordered two starters or shared a main plate between two. It’s always good to try somewhere new although am not entirely sure I would go back.

We were also given the special table without specifically asking for one and without needing to pay for 3 courses. The atmosphere also is very cosy and stylish. The food was absolutely great and the menu options are quite unique. The only negative was in relation to the squid ink linguini, as it was quite strong in aniseed flavour even if the menu does not mention that. For a flavour like that, it should be mentioned as your are either a lover or a hater of this flavour so is good to know. Other than that the food was amazing and my lamb shank extremely tender! Definitely recommended, especially for any special occasions. It might be on the pricier side but the service you get definitely makes it worth it!

The softshell crab was well fried, but could have had a bit of acid and seasoning. The papaya salad was good, but also needed a bit of seasoning. The banana bread is well made, but it's a bit too sweet for a starter, even with the acompanying dip. The duck roti raps were delicious and not heavy at all, but fell apart pretty quickly. For the main, we got the lamb braised in blue Sumatra coffee, which was fall-off-the-bone tender. The coffee flavor was delicate, just the right amount. All in all I would love to go there again and try some of their other dishes. Great if you're vegetarian or vegan. Many of the dishes are (or can be made) gluten free as well.

Amazing place to eat. Food is excellent. Been there many times, with different friends, always tried different dishes. Never ever disappointed. Brilliant

It was our first time eating Indian food. We booked here based on the excellent reviews. The evening was an absolutely positive surprise for us as beginners. We said right at the beginning that we were “beginners” and were warmly welcomed and given great advice. The food tasted so good that we have already planned our next visit.

We recently tried a new curry house as our regular stopped serving Lamb Tikka Masala and can honestly say this is our new favourite Indian takeaway. Hands down the most delicious curries. We live in East Dulwich and have tried many around here but genuinely nothing compares. The naan breads are so soft and onion Baghajis are delightful!

Great service and amazing food. Big up Maz, very nice guy, gave me 3 of the little chocolates they hand out. Will return if in dulwich in the future.
