Food was really not very good, even the rice, shocking considering the prices for each dish. Service and atmosphere was great. Shame about the food. Too expensive for substandard food.

Very nice starters and main 30-12-2024, friendly relaxed service in a nice atmosphere. Great location close to London Bridge Station. Not the cheapest but that's probably partly due to the location; very flavoursome evening.

It took us ages to decide on what to eat because we could genuinely eat everything on that menu. Food was delish. Service was great. It was full at lunch on a wednesday. That says a lot about a place. The place is a bit difficult to find. It isn't obvious at all from the outside. The signage is terrible, but thats my only complaint. Will definitely be back again.

We visited Champor Champor for the first time tonight and we had a wonderful experience. The menu was varied and well thought out. Every dish was fresh and flavoursome. The duck roti was insanely good as was the vegetarian mushroom and edamame dumpling main. I wish we’d had time to stay for desert because I would have loved to try the black rice pudding.

Overall, cozy little gem near London Bridge serving up some South East Asian classics and twists on known dishes. I went for 3 appetisers and dessert as I wasn't super hungry - they were well presented and tasty (quite filling too!). I went for the corn fritters, duck with hoisin sauce and roti, and mixed stir fried mushrooms. The chocolate tarte was fantastic - usually I'm not a fan as they tend to be too rich. But this was a perfect balance of texture and taste- and was incredibly moreish! Service was a little on the slow side but overall a nice restaurant. I'd return to try a main dish next time.

Came here after checking the reviews. Had the massaman lamb shank, which was overly salty. The banana fritter could be more fried. Overall disappointing experience.

Came here a few months back with some friends and totally enjoyed it!! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we were seated promptly. The food was amazing, I would only ask for more calamari lol

Great value Thai with large portions

First time dining here and would definitely recommend it, food had a great depth of flavour and the place had a nice cosy ambience.

"Next door to Guys Hospital and across the road from London Bridge Station. This is authentic, quality Thai and Malay passion cooked food, bursting with a wealth of flavours. No franchise menu insight. 😁

First of all, I want to mention how good the service was. All servers were super attentive, paying attention to customers, and very professional. The food price for its quantity and quality was amazing as well. Of course, the food was fantastic! It's a really nice mix of Northern Thai food and Sourthern Thai food. I will definitely visit again!

Helpful and friendly servers too Negatives are value - way overpriced relevant other high rated Thai/Malay options in central London - and capacity - they are packing in too many customers into a small space.

What a letdown. I used to come to this restaurant every now and then for years and used to love the food. I had one of my favourite dishes today - river prawn yellow curry and it was nothing like the dish I used to eat here. Instead of the usual creamy deliciousness, I got a tasteless, split sauce. Watery and fatty at the same time. The addition of raw egg made it all revolting. My blood sugar was low, so I had to force myself to eat the rice and prawns. The prawns tasted ok, but why did you change them to deep fried instead of boiled in the sauce you used to serve? 4 hours later, and I'm still mildly sick from the small amount of sauce I had

On this occasion, a real let down! Took a friend for a meal and ordered the Beef Rendang as it is my fav and having ordered it during a team Christmas meal. It’s came out looking yellow and full of yellow gravy! That is NOT rendang! And it wasn’t cheap either. Just couldn’t be arsed to kick up a fuss! But I have the pics!

Honestly blown away by the service provided by Sureen and the team. Food was beautiful served and generous in size, unique take on some dishes as well.

Thai restaurant where we booked a table for people on a Tuesday evening at 6.30pm. The service is always fantastic where the staff are very welcoming and attentive. Food is delicious, where I enjoyed all the dishes! We shared starters, mains and desserts, where I was so happy to get to try many dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It is my 2nd time visiting this restaurant and the food have always been delicious each time. Thank you

It was a friend’s suggestion and it didn’t disappoint. The food was full of flavour and the staff very attentive. Faisal who served us was very friendly and polite. Also, Sutee which served us the drinks. We will for sure come back again.

Champor champor promises a fusion of Thai and Malay flavors, but the execution felt more like experimentation gone wrong and a complete fusion fail. Dishes lacked the flavours you'd expect from either cuisine. My banana curry was so bland and tasteless that the accompanying coconut rice was the only flavour I could get out of the dish. The black rice pudding with mango ice cream was also a let down. The ice cream didn’t seem to have any flavour at all and was definitely not mango flavoured. The rice pudding was ok but you can definitely get a lot better out there for a less steep price. In general, prices were quite high for the quality of the food and the type of establishment. However, staff were really friendly and welcoming, creating a charming atmosphere with its eclectic mix of decor.

I enjoyed a fantastic meal this evening at Champor-Champor along with our friends. Every single dish we ordered was totally top class in terms of presentation and flavour. The restaurant was full however service was swift and attentive. Suttee was a very considerate and engaging waiter. Bravo!

Feels fairly compact and loud within but the food was incredible and we will certainly be returning. To echo others the quality and the size of the prawns is completely unmatched!

We just came back from Champor Champor, and as always, the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the rendang beef—it's very tasty, and I absolutely love it. It's the best Thai restaurant around London Bridge. We've visited many times, and each time we return with the same pleasure. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is lovely.

A great find round the corner from the Shard. Going to Champor Champor is a terrific experience. The decor is great and sets the atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is very good. They have an impressive menu of Asian cuisine that is cooked to a very high standard. Dishes look great and taste great. I have been several times and the quality has been very good every time.

We had dinner on Saturday. We ordered a few starters and a main dish. The main was beef dish and we loved it. I can’t say the portions are big but they were tasty.

Went there for lunch and it was amazing! The service was lovely, and the food was incredible! I was sad to be too full for dessert! I had the papaya salad which was fresh and flavourful. And the king prawn green curry which was so well presented and delicious. The dish are not spicy, but you can request extra fresh chili or dry chili!

Lamb masamman curry was good. Tom yum creme brulee is worth a try. Wont recommend Thai tea here. Waiters were polite

Overpriced for average food. (18£ for a banana curry with few pieces of bananas) Very nice and friendly staff.

Not good. My dish was much too sweet (pad thai) and my friend's too salty (sea food mix)… just like the bill. Much too expensive for what it is, I don't recommend it at all.

Lovely place tucked away at the back of London Bridge st. You do need to book otherwise you are waiting for a while. Nice variety, bit spicey. Staff couldnt really explain what some dishes were.

Seeing the amazing reviews I thought I’d try out Champor Champor even though its prices are slightly higher than I’d usually pay for SEA food. I’m not sure what I was expected - a slightly elevated version of some favourites. Beef rending is my favourite meal - I’ve been blessed to eat it all over the world but this was by far the saltiest. Super salty. And the beef didn’t fall apart the way I’ve always had it - it was honestly a bit dry and chewy. The rice wasn’t scooping by soft, fluffy individual grains but rather lumped off. I felt like the rice had been in the rice bowl for a while and just put on the side under a heat lamp to stop it going cold. The worst part - was the Coke. I asked for a can of regular coke and got a glass half filled with ice given to me. I said ‘can I not have the can?’ the man showed me the can he’d poured it from ‘it’s from a can!’ - flat coke, too much ice and charged £3.25 for it. Shocking. Service was fine (not great). I felt rushed. Decor tired. The other food looked good - maybe beef rendang just isn’t their speciality. Disappointed.

Food was great and so was the service. My mom is vegetarian and normally doesn’t love all the option when we go out to eat, but the chef was willing to change a dish to make sure she loved it! The rest of my family and I also enjoyed our food. Staff were delightful! All in all, this was a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant to all if you want a 5-star dining experience.

Amazing food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.

My first visit to Champor-Champor was when it was newly opened, over 10 years ago. Revisited yesterday evening and it was just as delicious, just as friendly, just as lovely as my first visit. The menu has a great selection for vegans, vegetarians as well as fish and meat. All the staff are lovely. I'll make sure to not wait so long for my next visit! Oh and prices were very reasonable too.

Not very accessible, as narrow doorway and lots of tables in an unusual shaped space, making you filter between chairs through the restaurant. Can't wait to go again and try other dishes

this is my jam, i always have great experiences when i eat here. the food is flavoursome and the service is excellent. they also do a set menu for lunch which is great value. a special thank you to sutee, an amazing human that takes great pride in what he does especially the fresh pineapple mint iced tea he so lovingly prepares - AH-MA-ZING!!!

Pad Thai is very flavorful and tasty like Thailand. I always eat here every time I come to London. Very close to London Bridge Station.

This restaurant was recommended by my brother, so we took our friends for lunch. The food was excellent and well presented . The decor was impressively exotic and reminded us of our travels to Thailand and Malaysia . Staff were attentive and friendly and when we unexpectedly had a toddler with us, it was no problem for them to provide a high chair and interact playfully with 18 month old. The location is only a short walk from London Bridge station yet it is peaceful ( we went on Sunday) . We were extremely impressed and will definitely go back there and would highly recommend it!

sunday night Business is very good We didn't make a reservation. Fortunately, there was still room for dinner. The green curry shrimp we ordered was very big. The green curry was sweet and not spicy at all. Green papaya is mixed with plum juice, and there are fried tofu and guava on the side. The hot and sour soup is very tasty.

Our third visit here and it didn't disappoint. A very interesting mix of Asian fusion dishes, busy but intimate atmosphere and efficient service. Prices seem to have gone up quite a lot since our last visit, but then that's probably the same story for most popular places

Had a great experience in Champor Champor restaurant ! The Thai food was amazing, especially the lamb shank with its peanut sauce ! The service was really quick, we barely had to wait in between each dish ! Was really impressed !

I was surprised by the rich flavour of these dishes. They were perfectly balanced and well cooked.

Please don’t waste your money and time by going by the reviews of this place. Honestly we felt cheated. This place is all about presentations, let it be food or interiors. the food is totally average, and not worth what you pay for it. We ordered three dishes. The prawns pad Thai was horribly, goopy and very sweet with no fresh condiments. Also they don’t have any other option for pad Thai than a fancy prawn one. The soft shell crab fried was totally tasteless. Jasmine rice was below average, came in a packet which was surprising. we did not dare order anything else. However, the service was quick and apologetic when we expressed our disappointment. We will never recommend this place to anyone. Money spent £25 per person for lunch.

Astonishingly packed for really really really bang average food and inept service, two stars because I know they were trying but good Lord, I’d rather be waited on by my brother’s kids.

Nice place. Food was rather pricey and it seemed to have lost its authenticity (I have eaten here before a few times) the service was ok, but we did find ourselves having wrong dishes delivered and having to chase for service.
