Dulwich Tandoori in Southwark

Sent me the wrong curry and when i phoned they corrected the mistake but when the curry arrived i noticed it was the same curry again not a madras was still nice

I have had both many a take away and in house food and this restaurant is the best in South East London. The staff are very attentive and welcoming and friendly.

My husband took me out for a meal here for the first time and what a meal it was!!! Everything was lovely, the team was polite, Maz especially took care of knowing it was our first time. His food recommendation truly elevated that flavours in my meal. Dulwich Tandoori, it is not the last time you have seen of us. Till next time, I truly recommend to anyone who want to enjoy a meal with amazing flavours and a good atmosphere.

Fabulous Indian restaurant that's consistently offered incredibly tasty food and friendly, efficient service. Maz looked after us attentively and was a great host. I've been coming for years because of the above.

Always have really excellent meals here. Have tried lots of different dishes and none have disappointed. We usually have take aways but sometimes dine in and there’s always a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff can’t do enough to help you when visiting so it really is our go to

The amount of oil in the curries from a takeaway is crazy! I tried to eat them, but it was all just absolutely covered in oil the food was unfortunately ruined and couldn’t be eaten. Edit: Thank you for your response, unfortunately I can’t see that I have had a reply yet via email, so I’m not sure what agreement you’re talking about. I managed to contact deliveroo and was given a partial refund. I appreciate the response here at least. 🙏

We have just got back from an amazing meal and couldn’t wait to leave a review! After reading such amazing reviews we decided to go to Dulwich tandoori for my girlfriend’s birthday meal. It was amazing! From the popadoms to the curry everything was delicious!! Apart from the food being incredible the service was the star of the show! All the staff were so friendly and amazing! The manager is so nice, takes time to talk to you and it made us feel so welcome. To top this all off they brought out a cake for my girlfriend’s birthday and sang happy birthday, it made us feel so special! It was an amazing night and I can’t thank them enough. We will 100% be back soon and we won’t be going anywhere else for our Indian food.

Absolute pleasure to return to this London gem. Maz was the perfectly attentive waiter, and helped us choose our ideal meal from the ideal menu for vegan/vegetarian diners. A must for visitors and locals alike.

Ordered from this restaurant as a takeaway. Best decision! Both our curries were delicious, especially the Desi Butter Chicken. The Paratha was perfection, as were the Onion Bhaji's. Definitely going to come to the restaurant now, a new favourite!

Lovely meal served by Maz. Loved the butter chicken and the paneer shashlick (a grilled paneer, I may be spelling it wrong!). Would advise that the saag paneer is made with a sweet coconut sauce, a bit like a korma, which wasn't to our liking, but to each their own. Will definitely return!

Probably the best curry house in South East London. They squeezed us in late on a Saturday night. Maz and the team were amazing, such lovely people. The food was insanely good especially the Murg masallam. 10/10 No notes, best place.

A massive group of us came for dinner last night and the staff were brilliant, very attentive & patient. The food was incredible - starters, sides, naans, mains, desserts including an incredible chicken shashlik...plus lots of lovely wine, cocktails and brandy. So nice to come back after years away and it has only got better 👌Will be back sooner next time!

Ordered a take out for 12 last night at Dulwich sports club, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the delivery was on time and hot, thank you Dulwich Tandoori, excellent service.

As a Family been coming for good few years now, always enjoyable meal for everyone including kids which keeps us coming back. Though have to agree toilets need some heating was icy cold last time we visited.

I don’t understand the great reviews for this place - the food here is just average. The chicken was overdone, the Dahl was really watery, and the raita was just plain yoghurt. There are better curry houses locally than this.
