Great service and amazing food. Big up Maz, very nice guy, gave me 3 of the little chocolates they hand out. Will return if in dulwich in the future.

I have been attending the restaurant for over 20 years. The service is excellent and friendly It’s like home from home. I know most of the staff, they always remember me. Value for money and excellent food.

Always love coming here - 25 years and counting! Nurel, the owner is so welcoming and tonight Maz gave us a special lamb shank that was so different and delicious. Lovely people, lovely food and lovely atmosphere.

Not Spicy enough everything tasted sweet I felt I dident eat Indian food and very watery the veggie options. Not the greatest experience. Had to throw most of it in the trash because it was to sweet and not much flavor other then it being sweet

Had dinner here for the third time. It was as excellent as the previous visits. All the dishes have really distinct and unique flavours. It is always quite a culinary adventure. Maz, and the other staff, are all very friendly. It has been run by the same family for over 40 years and they serve the customers the same recipes they eat at home. So it is all really authentic food.

Worth a detour. Mr khan a charm, maz superb. They facilitated a late table and took our number, rang when it was available. Late night curry with great atmosphere. Sauces rich, meat sublime. Sides tasty. Toilets ok, but not disabled friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dulwich. Would recommend. Superb and friendly service.

My partner brought me here for my birthday as I had never tried traditional Indian food and decided to surprise my taste buds. When we arrived we were seated right away and offered some pappadoms with some delicious dips. I would like to say the mint sauce dip was beautiful, never had a dipping sauce taste so yummy. Already starting off great. We ordered onion bahji’s and lamb samosas for starters. We enjoyed them. For mains we both ordered lamb byryani that came with a vegetable curry. It was delicious and very filling, I’ll tell you that. Love the taste. We also had a garlic and chilli nan bread, which we had to order for the culture. Everything was splendid, and it was a great first try of authentic Indian food. The place is beautifully decorated and because it was a Wednesday night it was empty. Felt like my partner booked a private dining for my birthday. Felt very special.

Food was great ! I ordered take out but when I went to collect it the restaurant had a fantastic feel, cozy perfect but full of life and maz the barmen looked after me while I waited! Definitely recommend !

Lovely restaurant, staff are very friendly. They are happy accommodate yourself and your needs. Chilli paneer is the best I’ve had! Sundries are tasty. Lamb naga was great - tasty and bit of a kick! Maz and co are great. Hats off to both the front of house and chefs!

Food was absolutely phenomenal! We have been ordering from this restaurant for a while but this was our first time visiting, absolutely fabulous. For the atmosphere it was quite loud and there was some thumping music when we showed up but we asked if this could be turned down, the staff were completely understanding and switched it to something much calmer. It’s a very popular place so the combo of thumping bass and chatting was a lot. They had no problem at all changing this and understood that they had just become a bit ear blind to it! Service was very speedy and all of the staff were friendly and chatted to us. Will definitely be visiting again.
