Beautiful fresh food, super friendly, great experience. I would recommend for a great curry.

The food was amazing! I loved the atmosphere in the diner area, and the staff was very nice! I’m not from Britain, but this restaurant made the visit very pleasant. I would really recommend this restaurant for everyone who loves indian food!

Delicious Indian fare in a comfy laid back restaurant. Wonderful options for gluten free and vegetarian restrictions. Seasonal items were delicious, okra fries and masala chips. Great service. Russell is a great host.

Siam was a great server. The food was wonderful and didn’t take long, service was friendly and attentive, and the place itself is lovely.

Had dinner with a party of five Delicious appetizers, entries, and desserts all around. Russell and his crew took really good care of us.

I order the food from uber eats. It is a disgrace to call them an Indian restaurants. The chicken Bhuna was Horrendous, with undercooked gravy which tasted more like salsa dip than Indian chicken gravy. The Biryani was also not prepared well. The Biryani had a lot of curry leaves which make me wonder if I ordered the curry leaves since it is not common to see Curry leaves i. Hydrabadi Biryani. The saving grace was the trio starter and there 2 starts.

We recently dined in and had an incredible experience. The mutton biryani was nothing short of perfection. Thank you for a lovely meal last night, you made us feel very welcome and was so good with my son. Food was 10/10, absolutely delicious.

Really tasty food in a lovely environment, they could just do with some more soft furnishings as it was very loud and hard to hear the person next to me!

I share the same experience as a handful of people within these reviews. Rude, arrogant staff members who talk over you and are by no way friendly, just greedy for money. I called the restaurant to make them aware I was ordering on Deliveroo and that my son had a nut allergy, initially the guy said he would look out for the order and thanks for making him aware. I called back once I had completed the order to ask if I could have some onion salad (for which I would pay for). The guy told me it wasn’t free, I responded telling him I am ok with that, although it wasn’t on the menu for me to order on Deliveroo. He said ‘he would try and see if he can spare some’. Baring in mind it is the smallest pot of onions which they used to give for free with a chicken Madras anyway. I ordered 3 chicken dishes along with rices, naan bread and a bottle of coke. Coke never arrived, and all three chicken dishes came unidentifiable (despite me telling them about nut allergy). Chicken curry Chicken madras Chicken Tikka Mussala All leaking and piled on top of each other!! I called to ask which was which and why it wasn’t labelled, the gentlemen was extremely rude… told me ‘I should have told them’ about nut allergy, I explained I did and he said ‘well you should have told me’…. How was I meant to know who I was meant to tell when there are many people working there. If I call the restaurant and inform them of allergies, it is then for them to taking the necessary precautions. I was now left with 3 plastic containers (two leaking), which all looked the same. Therefore I could not feed my son the mild curry I had ordered for him. The gentlemen also informed me they have no duty to label their dishes on containers. The chicken tikka mussala is exactly how someone else here has described it, looks like a korma, sweet, yellow and mushy. The chicken in the portions are very shy (4/5 cubes) Value for money is very poor as their prices are not exactly cheap. The madras was bland (just full of oil and onions). I will be taking the allergen issue up with Southwark council as aren't meeting allergen guidance set out in line with pre-packed and non pre-packed food. Don’t waste your money here.

I was charged £15 for each curry, but the quality was far from acceptable. The chicken curry lacked flavor, and the paneer curry was clearly at least two days old, with a terrible smell. It's disappointing that a place calling itself a fine dining restaurant would serve food like this. To top it off, what they labeled as 'pulav rice' was nothing more than plain white rice with a little jeera.

The worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant, first me and friend went for the dine in during dinner time and it was not busy at all they had only one table, first the guy didn’t seat us at the table they held us at the door saying wait here, he came up with the menus there and with one pamphlet of their which was saying if you want to dine in with us you have to spend min £20 per person then only we could give you best service. We told that guy we want to do dine in and still he was insisting us to check the menu first decide and maybe you could do take away it would be better. That was very rude behaviour and any way my friend wanted to try their food we ended up doing take away for the appetisers only and even with that it was not worth it at all. Food was bland, will not recommend to anyone. Service was the worst, you have no right to behave like this with any customer.

I booked a table for 13 people as a surprise birthday and was advised by the management that a banquet meal option would be better value for money including a range of starters and mains to share. It was an extremely over priced meal for the food and service we received. There wasn’t enough food for the amount of people eating - we were each served a single onion Bhaji and pakora as a starter. There weren’t enough mains to share across the table even though I had booked the meal 2 weeks prior to arrival. The banquet cost us £34.50 per person - we didn’t get enough food to cover total we paid. The service was terrible - forgotten orders for drinks and food were consistent throughout the meal. We waited over half an hour between our starters and main and were billed over £800 for the meal. When the food did finally arrive it was average at best! A complete rip off! I highly recommend eating elsewhere!

Had a lovely evening at Tower Tandoori. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Offered to make adaptations to dishes and couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was delicious! It is also brilliant for people with allergies as everything is clearly labelled with loads of gluten free options.

It was our first time eating Indian food. We booked here based on the excellent reviews. The evening was an absolutely positive surprise for us as beginners. We said right at the beginning that we were “beginners” and were warmly welcomed and given great advice. The food tasted so good that we have already planned our next visit.

We were craving butter chicken and they delivered- ate every bite! Also don’t sleep on the cheese naan, might’ve been better than the garlic naan

We ordered takeaway because of the reviews and the photos. Ordered the tikka musala and it looked nothing like the photos of other reviews. It was sweet, yellow and not the beautiful red with drizzled cream like other photos. Tasted more like a squash curry, so may be we were given the wrong order but if not, the worst tikka masala I’ve ever had. Would not recommend ordering from here, try somewhere else.

Very nice food. Good quality, fresh and authentic. Restaurant was pretty quiet when we dined in. The music volume could do with being increased to boost atmosphere...serve is great and toilets are extremely clean. overall lovely place to eat

Had a really great meal at Tower Tandoori - the okra fries are crisp and flavorful! We also ordered the palak paneer, dal tadka and trio chicken tikka - the food comes hot, tastes authentic and feels like a home cooked meal. Sultan was our man with impeccable service - loved the whole experience!

This fabulous eatery deserves to be in the top 0.1% in London. From the moment we stepped in till we finally said our farewells, we were treated like old friends . Nothing was too much trouble and the food sublime. Grateful thanks to maestro Shah and his genial son shotmeister Sahil. Try this place soon. They were even complimentary about my cravat…..We will be back!!

We have recently, visited the restaurant it’s been a nice experience tasting our Indian food , all the compliments goes to chef and the service team deepanshi is very good nice interaction, everything was so good but , lastly I have to mention as we don’t have a booking , we just walked in the supervisor or some manger , he just asked me in a way rude way ok check menu if ur okay then let’s in otherwise no , what kind of thing it is we know its a restaurant and we want to have food definitely, but the way he asked was not fair. Finally great experience with good food and good staff , hope to see u again

I recently dined at this restaurant , and it was an exceptional experience! The authentic Indian flavors truly stood out, with each dish offering a perfect blend of spices. The lamb is super good. Best Biriani in a while friendly highly recommended

We had a fantastic first experience at Tower Tandoori - the atmosphere on arrival was exactly what we were after for a Saturday evening meal. Service was speedy and polite - we were served by Ali who was wonderful. Food was also delicious! Would definitely recommend.

The Management of this place were rude and I thought they actually didn't want us in their restaurant. We were told we couldn't order any spirits off their drinks menu, and that this is what is available and that's it! If we don't like it, then lump it basically! With this we left without further engagement, not somewhere I would ever go again and certainly not anywhere I would recommend to anyone.

1st time here having just moved around the corner ! Will be back, perfect food and service.

Today, I went there and found a dead fly in my main course. I informed the staff, and they sent someone from management. However, he was very rude and said he didn't know how it happened. He didn't apologize or express any regret. I had a very bad experience.

The food was brilliant and delicious, the service and the restaurant was also really good and authentic. I can recommend the place.

The food that you do get is OK. Extremely small portions and honestly the customer service is woeful. If you expect to actually enjoy the full Indian cuisine experience you will never find that here. You are much better off going to tayyabs over the water in Whitechapel. Unfortunately tower tandoori is in an area where people don't really have any choice of good Indian restaurants, so this restaurant fully takes advance of that by providing less than the bare minimum

Excellent customer service by Ali, Russell and George at the Tower Tandoori. I first visited this place in the mid 80s. It was very good then....now it's great!! Vegan choice is also excellent! If you love indian cuisine...then this is the place to go!!!

Very good early dinner at this restaurant we have been meaning to try for a while. We had chicken jalfazi, dal makhani, pilau rice and garlic nan. Friendly, efficient and attentive service. We’ll come again.

One of the best Indians I’ve ever had!!! The customer service was amazing, and I highly recommend this restaurant if you want an Indian.

Not sure why this is so highly rated - are these reviews from actual Indians or other cultures who prefer bland, overpriced and unseasoned cuisine. The most disappointing part about our visit was by far the Masala Chai and the professionalism of the owner. With respect to the former, we were promised proper Indian style chai - what we received was milky water with ONE clove, ONE cinnamon stick, ONE bay leaf and ONE stick of ginger - hardly enough to provide the authentic taste of chai most Indians are used to and adore. Most authentic masala chais used a lot of grated ginger, cardamom, lots of cloves, some pepper, and then use a filter to not leave the masala at the bottom of the cup - none of these practices were adhered to here. With respect to the latter, the manager was having a very loud argument on the phone as we dined which further ruined the unpalatable tastes in our mouths left by the food. Overall, stay away if you wish to avoid paying £5 for simple Garlic naan, £12 for 3 chapatis/roti or £5 for terrible Masala chai.
