The best restaurants in Stratford and New Town Newham London

The eatery was virtually empty at 3:00 pm. We were seated promptly but was left waiting for over 30 mins. No one came over to take our order. The kitchen lights were soo dim, that you would question if it was the front of house staff were warming up the tapas on top of their front of house responsibilities. After 40 mins of waiting and hearing a lady complain about the food being tepid we left. I’ll be sticking with the branch at Bluewater.

Servicio rápido y sorprendente calidad de bebida. Recomiendo especialmente la batidora de mango y fresa con lichi boba, ahora es oficialmente mi bebida favorita.

We visited here as a small group of 3. We ordered 2 cocktails which meant you get 4, a soft drink, nachos , chicken strips, steak, pasta and ribs. The drinks came out and Expresso Martini was flat, no foam head and 2/3 of a glass in each and the taste was not great. I reported this to the waiter who said he would tell management , I asked if it was out of a machine but he said it was freshly made. I'm a transgender woman, so what followed was upsetting when the waiter referred to me as sir , and when I corrected him, then did it a second time when we paid, I was very upset and asked him why as I had a face full of makeup and a dress on he felt sir was the correct choice. He didn't answer and didn't apologise. The restaurant has emailed me apologising, however I still feel upset and annoyed that this could happen in a large chain of restaurants. The nachos was good, my steak. Was cooked to how I asked, the pepper sauce was thick and tasted like someone had poured a pot of pepper into it. Not very nice at all. And I couldn't understand why the tomatoes on the plate were raw? Would I visit here again, probably not. Would I recommend this place to others, maybe if your a family. 1 star overall for the reasons I listed above.

Edward VII Stratford Broadway. Un pub una vez próspero, ahora parece uno en su agonía. Sin cerveza, óptica prácticamente vacía, neveras vacías, sin clientes. Estuvo cerrado ayer durante el día y también podría haberlo estado esta noche. Sería una pena llorar si perdiéramos este pub para siempre

Great great great taste. Had a wonderful time!. Their waffles are a must try! Also cold coffee was great. Can't wait to try it's Oxford branch.

I've was a regular customer a couple years ago and revisit today. ordered sesame prawn toast and other items. The sesame prawn toast turned up to be a CHICKEN! When called the restaurant I was told is half and half! They didn't even try to make it right. Never again I will order from them - who knows what half and half they will serve.

Had the worst dosa of my life. The samber was ordinary lintels. God knows what the coconut chutney was. Whatever it was it was ice cold. The dosas were served in broken peices. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had taken pictures to show. I had food poisoning after eating. This place should be shut down by the council or food hygiene organisation.

Fui aquí con mi pareja el sábado y no me impresionó en absoluto. El queso que utilizan es la versión falsa americana y las patatas fritas de queso eran literalmente solo una plancha de queso (por £ 5 ). Mi otra queja es que no tienen cubiertos aparte de un tenedor de madera, un cuchillo hubiera estado bien cuando me metí en un lío justo tratando de comer mi hamburguesa sin bollo. Mis compañeros Raspberry Cheesecake batido era bastante agradable, pero eso es realmente todo. No volveré a comer aquí. Mi pareja probablemente lo hará porque le encanta la comida 😂

Food used to be ok pre Christmas to a point but they’ve changed menus now and the food was terrible when we went in January. I went regular as it was handy to go with Mother . At the prices they charge the quality of the food was very poor. I’m hoping they sort this out but we will be going elsewhere today.

This is a fantastic cafe, a stand out for Caffe Nero stores. It is always very busy but well controlled. The manager Fabio is always so courteous and offers a friendly, consistent and professional service. He has contributed an incredible amount of his time ensuring exceptional service and training staff on standard control. Kudos to Bea! However, it is very clear he and the full time staff are being pushed too much. Fabio has worked every single day bar one in the past 2-3 weeks. I feel bad for the chap, it is unacceptable that Caffè Nero have forced him to do such hours. He has had to publicly deal with staff resignations without notice, late staff (Sheikh is the worst, he's also made blatant homophobic and misogynistic comments), anti social behavior of youths and unruly guests. And to top it, the AC has been broken for two years where it only blows hot air despite the cold function being enabled. It is currently over 40° in the store. I feel awful for the staff to have to work in these conditions.

Food was cold but I appreciate that it's a strange hour

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! They took our money and did not deliver our food. We ordered £100 worth of food and did not receive our food, we called deliveroo they said we have to talk to the manager. We called for two weeks, went in and we could not get through the manager, eventually they said the manager is dead and told me to shut the f**k up. They are extremely rude, unprofessional, racist and now I'm seeing these reviews I'm realising this is not the first time they've done this. They are scammers and I don't know how they have not been shut down for robbing people.
