Had the worst dosa of my life. The samber was ordinary lintels. God knows what the coconut chutney was. Whatever it was it was ice cold. The dosas were served in broken peices. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had taken pictures to show. I had food poisoning after eating. This place should be shut down by the council or food hygiene organisation.

This place is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your money. The menu is extremely overpriced and the staff are very rude. After disputing the price, we were told it is too late and we have ordered already. The server was very rude and even when the manager came it was clear they try to scam people often with prices and add ons. £4 for one roti. Avoid at all costs. The food in the photo was £26. It should be £12-£14 max.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience at this so-called "restaurant"! If I could give zero stars, I would. We specifically, repeatedly, and emphatically ordered TWO LARGE PANEER WRAPS. What did we get? Chicken tikka. CHICKEN! My elderly mother-in-law, who is vegetarian, was left with absolutely nothing to eat. We were relying on this takeaway, and by the time we realised the monumental error and got home, it was too late to order from anywhere else. So, thanks to this culinary catastrophe, she went hungry. Completely unacceptable. And that's not even the full extent of the disaster. The samosa chaat was beyond pathetic – a soggy, flavourless mess. As for the pani puri, the so called golguppa explosion (the guy who named the dish has to get his eyes checked) has to be exploded along with the restaurant… well, let's just say the pani suspiciously looked like gutter water. Yes, you read that right. GUTTER WATER. I'm not even exaggerating. It was truly disgusting. While the staff were superficially friendly, their smiles did absolutely nothing to compensate for the truly appalling food. Friendly service doesn't excuse serving the wrong order, especially when dietary requirements were clearly communicated. Honestly, the chef needs to go back to culinary school and learn the difference between paneer(Malai as mentioned on the bill) and chicken, and perhaps take a course on basic hygiene while they're at it. This place is a joke, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs!

"I recently ordered the butter chicken from this restaurant and was unfortunately left quite disappointed. The sauce was watery and lacked the rich, creamy flavor I expect from a good butter chicken. Even more disappointing was the shockingly small amount of chicken in the dish. For the price, the portion of chicken was unacceptable and felt like a real rip-off. The naan bread, thankfully, was quite good – soft and flavorful – but it couldn't make up for the lackluster main course. The service was also a bit pushy, with the staff repeatedly trying to upsell me on additional items. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the butter chicken, especially given the meager amount of chicken. The naan bread was decent, but it's hard to justify a return trip based on that alone. I would suggest that the restaurant focus on drastically improving the quality and flavor of their butter chicken sauce, and, most importantly, be far more generous with the chicken portion, especially considering the price they charge

Craving some vibrant Indian street food, I stumbled upon Indi-Go Rasoi in Westfield Stratford, and let me tell you, it was a flavour explosion! We started with the Jugalbandi platter, a colourful array of chicken tikka, seekh kebab, paneer, and more. Each piece was cooked to perfection – the chicken tikka was succulent, and the chutneys added a delightful sweet and tangy kick. But the real star of the show was the Masala fries. Forget your average fries! These were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and coated in a tantalizing blend of aromatic Indian spices. They were spicy, savoury, and utterly addictive. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a vibrant, casual vibe. I highly recommend the Jugalbandi platter and Masala fries at Indi-Go Rasoi. They are a must-try! Head down to Indi-Go Rasoi in Westfield Stratford and treat yourself – you won't be disappointed!

We were very hungry and we needed a fill-up before the Fulham game, so we chose our favourites quickly. We had tandoori chicken with rice, a paneer wrap with masala fries and two mango laksa. Sadly my paneer wrap needed seasoning, there was hardly any salad and it was very dry, the fries were delicious as always. My husband loved his chicken but again there was just one salad leaf and the rice portion was stingy. I do think the food at Spitalfields is tastier, we won’t eat there again. I wish I’d had time to check the reviews before we ordered.

Disappointing Experience at Indi-Go Rasoi, Westfield Stratford As a long-time regular at this branch, I was appalled by the dismal experience during my visit on January 3rd, 2025. Indi-Go Rasoi has always been a go-to spot for us, with my usual order being the murg shashlik and my partner’s the murg butter makhani. However, this time, both the quality and, more shockingly, the quantity of the food were utterly unacceptable. My partner’s murg butter makhani was nothing more than a plate of dry rice and what can only be described as tomato soup—completely devoid of chicken. It was insulting. Meanwhile, my murg shashlik consisted of a measly four tiny pieces of chicken—smaller than IKEA meatballs. The portion looked more like an appetizer than a meal. When I approached the till employee and the manager, assuming there had been a mistake, I was met with an even more shocking response. The manager stated that if we wanted a proper meal rather than a snack, we should order two tandoori plates! Since when did Indi-Go Rasoi become a tapas restaurant? I have photos that corroborate this disgraceful experience, and I can confidently say this is my farewell review. For a restaurant I once held in such high regard, the service and food have become absolutely shameful. I would no longer recommend this place to anyone.

Avoid!!!!! If you care about your taste buds, stomach and self respect please stay away!!! Pathetic food which was provided by a rude staff member with no courtesy to swap out when told the dish seemed stale. The oil seemed so smelly, the potato filling inside the samosas was stale, the chhole seemed very old and didn’t have any aroma to it, the bhaturas also seemed bad thanks to the smelly oil they were fried in. There are many better outlets out there at Westfield Stratford to satisfy your hunger. Utter waste of money.

I ordered the lamb curry with rice but it was so disappointing. The lamb pieces were tiny, and the flavor was bland. The staff were friendly, but it doesn’t mean much if the food lacks taste. I had a very disappointing experience at Indi-Go Rasoi in Westfield Stratford. I ordered the Chicken Masala, expecting a flavorful and satisfying dish, but it was completely the opposite. The chicken was bland and lacked any of the rich spices that you would expect from a proper masala. It tasted like they barely put any effort into seasoning it, leaving me with a dish that was utterly tasteless. For a place that markets itself as serving authentic Indian food, this was a huge letdown. I definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal. Traveling from New York to London, I decided to try some local food while shopping. Ordered the food around 9:00 pm local time on Oct 21, 2024. I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chole Bhature (chickpeas with deep-fried bread), but the experience was disappointing. The biryani tasted more like a basic chicken curry served mixed with plain white rice, and there were only a few pieces of chicken. Although the presentation of the chickpeas was appealing, it didn't justify the high price. I paid nearly 36 pounds, equivalent to about $46, and found the additional cost for small water and drinks at 3.45 pounds each excessive. The service was also lacking; the employees were unfriendly and did not greet customers. As a Bengali being served by fellow Bengalis, I aimed to provide an unbiased review. To the management: please consider training your staff on customer interaction and hiring chefs who can prepare authentic biryani, perhaps using basmati rice for a more genuine taste. Thank you.

Ordered the chicken tikka wrap and masala chips. Waited with a buzzer for my food. When I recieved my food, the wrap was cold along with the chicken tikka inside. The host blamed this on the fact that the salad is cold and that is why the whole wrap is cold uncluding the meat. If I wanted a cold wrap I would have gone to waitrose downstiars. The masala chips were overcooked, dry and had a bitter flavour to them. I had wanted to try this place for a while, but my first experience was a bad experience.

I have been a regular customer of Indi-Go, and the food here has always been very satisfactory and has always got the job done. However recently, the quality of the food has completely dropped and the food tastes microwaved and bland. But the food isn't completely terrible and does the job of filling you up pretty well. And I won't really discourage people coming here, but in my opinion I don't see this restaurant worth going to, as it is something customers can get at home or make at home with a cheaper price. As the food is just microwaved. Although, if you are looking for a quick bite to eat I'd say the masala fries and the chicken tikka masala is your best shot at having a decent meal in Indi-Go.

Firstly, I am not the kind of person who complains in each and everything but today’s food was the absolute worst and on top of that it was so expensive and it is not even like this was my first time going there. I still remember till to this day that when I went there for the first time in 2020 the food was so good and in my area which was the only Indian resident which I’m used to so I went there time to time occasionally and first few tries were really good but by the time it started to get bad and bad and bad and now it’s the worst, before the Puri in Chola Bora used to be so big and so good but today’s one was so small and like a papr it’s not supposed to be like that and that’s not the only thing when I was ordering, I I said that can I get only the Chola and the cashier said yes you can but he did not inform me that I can’t buy it single. I need to buy the Chola Bora set if I had known that I wouldn’t have ordered it and on top of that the another thing I ordered was veggie biryani because I am vegetarian. It was so bad it was like a Chinese fried rice and even those are better than the thing I ate there which you can buy in £5 or £10 in big box but what I ate was filled with the frozen vegetables which they didn’t even chopped properly and just put it in after taking it out from the freezer. I was really disappointed by the food they served us today. This used to be a place which I frequently went, but not anymore this is the last, time I’ll ever go there really it’s very disappointing and I was so frustrated that I can’t even describe it in words

So, I went to Indigo Rasoi to try the Indian food. I had the chola bhatura (Chickpeas and deep fried bread). I really loved this one! I also had the Hyderabad Murg Ka Salan (Chicken curry and rice) which I didn't really like, and the lemongrass lamb chops, which were bony and had hardly any meat on them. I would definitely go back for the Chola bhatura because I really enjoyed it. So I was there the second time for more chickpeas and I tried teh masala fries And the third time, I went to Indigo again to try the Golgappa. I've been wanting to try this since 2008 when I saw the movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi." In the movie, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma celebrated their dance victory with Golgappa, and they seemed to enjoy it so much. Since then, I've been hoping to try it, and I finally did! I liked the Golgappa, though I felt the sizes were a bit small compared to the samples I saw on display. Still, I enjoyed it and will definitely try it again. Additionally, I had the lamb wrap. Initially, I planned to take it home, but since the Golgappa portion was a bit too small, I ended up eating the wrap there. It was a delicious experience overall!

My recent visit to Stratford Indi-go Rasoi was a culinary delight, and I can't praise their dishes enough. I started with the Chi Wrap, which was an outstanding fusion of flavors. The wrap was filled with succulent, spiced chicken and fresh vegetables, all wrapped in a soft, warm flatbread. Each bite was a perfect balance of savory and spicy, making it an irresistible start to the meal. The Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan was the star of the evening. The chicken was incredibly tender, swimming in a rich, creamy sauce that was bursting with flavors. The garlic naan was the perfect accompaniment, soft yet slightly crispy on the edges, and infused with just the right amount of garlic to complement the butter chicken perfectly. The Masala Fries were a pleasant surprise. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they were generously seasoned with a blend of spices that added an exciting twist to the traditional fries. They were an addictive side that paired wonderfully with the meal. To top it all off, the Onion Bhaji was simply superb. These crispy, golden fritters were packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of crunch. The onions were beautifully caramelized inside, making each bite a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Stratford Indi-go Rasoi has undoubtedly mastered the art of delivering authentic and delicious Indian cuisine with a modern twist. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stratford Indi-go Rasoi, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my meal was their Chicken Biryani, which was nothing short of spectacular. The rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic with spices, and generously filled with tender, flavorful chicken pieces. Equally impressive was the Samosa Chaat. The samosas were crispy and filled with a savory mixture, perfectly complemented by the tangy tamarind chutney and cooling yogurt. The addition of fresh herbs and crunchy sev on top added layers of texture and taste that made every mouthful an adventure. Last but not the least, the Butter Chicken was simply divine. The chicken was succulent and cooked to perfection, bathing in a rich, creamy tomato sauce that was both comforting and indulgent. The balance of spices was impeccable, making it a must-try for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. Stratford Indi-go Rasoi has truly mastered the art of Indian cooking, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. ***Highly recommended***

The flavour of all the food here is amazing but the chicken does need to be properly cleaned. I often find little bits of the chickens feather in the wings but other than that I think this is a really good chicken shop👍
