the food was really good i just think that the chicken tikka was a bit strong in flavor as it tasted as if there was to much coconut in it but over all i loved the food

Very good quality of food and very friendly service however I was disappointed that my Bombay potatoes didn't arrive. I'm sure they would have remedied this only I was to lazy to contact them. Overall, I would recommend Bayleaf.

Best indian in the east on just eat!

For some reason i keep changing my number on the site and it will still display my number so i have to check. I didnt this time and just quickly placed the order so upon arrival the shop made attempts to call me and couldnt. When i called they took my number and dropped the food. It was still hot and tasted great. The tikka biriyani was awesome as always and the samosas were lovely. Really pleased :)

Food was overpriced and disgusting

All the takeouts ive had this place has good garlic naan bread haha; not a fan of the chicken tikka masala it didnt taste quite right, delivery was on time maybe earlier but they didn't read the note i left saying 'do not ring doorbell' as everyone was sleeping

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I am writing this one whilst in the toilet, which is where I have spent the last hour. I have bad guys all morning. I can understand if I ordered a vindaloo or something spicy, but I only ordered a korma and pilau rice. I very rarely order takeaway because I'm very careful about eating food that has been prepared by some one else. I've been a head chef for 10 years and I like to cook my own food. I have had to take the day off work and lose money because I cannot leave the bathroom. I think something needs to be checked at this place

With my meal I ordered a large bottle of coke and was only given a can when I said this to the driver I was just told that when I order next they will sort it out because would of been closed and wouldn't have enough time

Called up multiple times to chase & were told would be 15mins but over 30mins later still hadn't arrived. Takeaway refused to cancel & refund after waiting for way over an hour & said we would need to speak with JE. Tried contacting them but no response.

The food is nice, but it was 2 hours late. They kept saying it would be there in 10mins and we didn't receive it until 9.30pm. No apology, and just rude service. It's a shame, we've always liked their food but will look elsewhere next time.

I ordered at 12.33am and apparently I have to wait until 2.00am to recive my order... It's a weekday I could deal with an hour for me that is expected. However when I called up to ask the guy told me 10/15 mins is that okay, like no I want it now at 1.40am not 2! Very disappointed

The food took nearly 2 hours to arrive when the restaurant is 1 mile away. The food that arrived was not what I ordered. I called the driver he said ring the restaurant. I called the restaurant and the man who answered the phone did not speak english and just kept repeating I give you discount next time which I definately did not want. I just wanted my money back and for the driver to collect the food but he did not understand this. I feel robbed. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

Only chose this place as most other places where shut..the biggest mistake I made starving would've been a better option than eating this horrendous food..everything from the way it looked smelt and tasted was disgusting to say the least..The delivery guy was lost for 10mins and finally strolled up in his car with his wife in the passenger seat..all in all avoid this place at all cost or you will regret!!!!

Delicious food, however the order took over an hour to be delivered and we were missing two of the items we ordered. When we called the restaurant, we were passed on to three different people as we tried to explain that not all our items had been delivered. We asked for a refund and were told it was impossible - they offered to give us free poppadoms next time. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from here again as they still owe us a refund.

A large collection order at 1 in the morning, and everyone was happy, top class Indian takeaway that's open nice and late for the shift workers!

Forgot my drink and then hanged up on me andddddd dead food

Restaurant has failed to deliver my food and when i rang them they laughed and said all the delivery men were busy. So i then asked for a refund and they hung up.

Beyond awful, delivery took 2 hours, curry tastes bland, we asked for a spicy curry and ended up with the mildest one, starter was all burnt. The curry was drenched in oil and it was cold by the time it arrived. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO ORDER FROM HERE GUYS! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER. I love curries but this place just put me off. Will not use again! 😡😡

I ordered a delivery and received it after 1 hour and 50 minutes later and then when I called to ask where my delivery is they said the drivers car broke down, its was fine till I received my food I ordered for biryani and received a veg masala. I been waiting for food over an hour and half then received something that I never ordered also I paid £2 for delivery and got a poor delivery service. this was the worst service I ever had, never coming back or recommend this place to anyone.

My order did not arrive and I just want my money back after waiting 1:35 minutes. You guys are usually good to me but today may be the last time I ever order or recommend bayleaf

Food was great ..... Except they forgot our salad.. Sauce.. Popadoms... and when I tried to call them they didn't answer the phone - picked up over an hour later and said next time we won't forget - there won't be a next time.

Such a good takeaway! Love every dish we have had from here. Seriously recommend.

Really disappointed with the service this time, will not be reordering again- food arrived late (order placed at 9.17pm, food arrived at 10.52pm!), naan, 2 side dishes, 4 daals and 2 plain rice were all stone cold. Other items were lukewarm- lamb rogan josh was the biggest disappointment with only 6 tiny pieces of lamb when we fished around in the container thrown into a mix of what looked like 3 whole tomatoes cut up, appeared as if lamb cut offs had been thrown in! Really bland taste, extremely disappointed. Side order of saag bhaji, wishing i had taken a picture- there was approx 2 tablespoons of saag lying at the bottom of the container, other side dish was also a very stingy portion of about 1/3 of the container. Called to enquire about the order at 10.25, was told delivery driver had been busy with other orders and would be leaving in 3 minutes- the restaurant is approx a 5 min drive away- person who did actual delivery when asked about delay said he was just kitchen staff and didn't know anything?! Ridiculous service, have not been this disappointed with any other establishment!!

I ordered quite a lot of food and they didn't even give me a spoon. The rice is a bit dry and didn't taste fresh but the kebab was nice

Placed order at 17 past midnight & order arrived about 45 minutes later. I very really leave reviews but this was so good. We had the chicken tikka main, plus special rice & a mango smoothie plus a banana smoothie. The food was piping hot & fresh. The delivery guy was proud to say that he had cooked the food aswell. I will definitely be ordering from this place again. Really nice, healthy and tasty food. Thank you to the man.

Yes, my last four Indian food orders have been from Bayleaf. But I can there has been a declined in quality.

One of the food container lids was broken with food leaking from it. Lamb Balti was partly burnt with an unpleasant smell to it. Overall food was average.

By the time my food came it was cold, the quality of the food wasn't great at all, the prawn Bhubaneswar wasn't a buns it was a thin based curry that lacked in flavour and slice. The biryani was flavourless. Last of all my nan bread was undercooked

They were 3 hours late! If I wouldn't pay online I wouldn't bother. The person couldn't find our address that is quite easy to find. Called numerous time asking for direction but didn't understand or speak English. Absolutely ridiculous. Never order again!
