Im thirteen years old As a mega fan of Gordon Ramsay I was let down with the meal. I got the ribeye steak which cost 40 pounds and while the flavor was all there I expected more it was just a steak on a white plate nothing else I had to order a seven pound Mac and cheese for a side just to make the plate feel less empty. Even as a thirteen year old I know presentation is everything and this was just not it.
As much as I was looking forward to this meal on my first trip to London maybe it is time that Gordon focuses more on the restaurants and less on the 15 fox network shows that he hosts.
In all fifteen of his shows especially next level chef he stresses presentation and this did not meet my expectations. You see him on TV preaching good plating and presentation yet he doesn’t stress that to the chefs at his own restaurants
I had the Black Pudding Scotch Egg, the Ham, Egg, and Chips, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Everything was delicious and came out quickly, and piping hot. The ham is half a leg's worth, served on the bone, and the Scotch Egg is very substantial too. If you're planning on having three courses make sure you have a big appetite, the servings are generous and you may run out of room halfway through the main course.
As a day out in London and everything was really busy I decided to get food from this place. I ordered spicy kebab and the meat was really tough, maybe should have tried something else. For what I paid I dont think it was worth the price. The place could do with some refurbishment that will improve the atmosphere, and cleaning the tables after meals would also be good.
We always visit this restaurant when in London. Authentic Parisian atmosphere, polite & efficient service. Excellent french cuisine, coupled with fine wines. Definately one of my favourite restaurants
A Truly Luxurious Stay in the Heart of London
Staying at this stunning hotel was nothing short of fabulous. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service, attention to detail, and overall elegance of the property.
The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking—like stepping into a palace. The decor features exquisite old-world charm, with grand marble accents, classic paintings, and ornate architectural details that add to its timeless beauty. The rooms are just as impressive, beautifully designed with both comfort and sophistication in mind. Photos hardly do it justice.
Room service was excellent, offering delicious food delivered promptly and with care. The amenities in the room were thoughtful and luxurious, enhancing the entire experience. The staff were consistently professional, warm, and attentive, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be more convenient. Just a two-minute walk from Gloucester Road Underground Station, which serves the Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines, getting around London was a breeze.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in London. We can’t wait to return.

Got the rotisserie box, truffle mac and cheese with chicken and carrots and two sauces. Very delicious, would get again and try different sides. Unfortunately there's nowhere in the immediate vicinity to eat it so it's only takeaway.
