1880 at The Bentley Kempinski in Kensington and Chelsea

A nice visit in a good hotel that is basically good especially in price but the quality of food needs improvement and is ridiculously priced for its lack of quality. Now the front desk: friendly but not the most competent staff for a hotel. I don’t want to get into it but maybe it’s just how that hotel does things. Would I comeback … YES. WHY? Good price, quiet area, nice neighborhood, rooms are spacious but why don’t they remove stains in rugs. It takes away from the appearance. I wouldn’t eat here or buy a drink or even a cup of coffee or tea but putting all that aside, it’s a good deal. They do have a mini fridge and tea pot etc but bring your own TEA etc.

My daughter and I attended for afternoon tea today as she had been given a Virgin voucher for her birthday. Beautiful hotel and surroundings, the afternoon tea was delicious and very filling. Sandwiches were lovely and a lot of filling, cakes and scones wonderful. Thank you

The Bentley Hotel London is beautiful and elegant. The staff is wonderful and made sure our stay was perfect. I highly recommend staying at this gorgeous hotel.

Afternoon tea lacked finesse... It was OK but we left underwhelmed. Entrance is very grand and you feel.from the offset that you will experience the same environment. Once we were seated, after a wait of 20minutes (to be fair we were early but there were only 5 seated tables), we were walked into the gloomy, cold Peridot area. Hard Rock music playing fairly loudly we already got the impression that this eould not quite be the experience we'd hoped for. We did ask if it could be changed after hearing one song on repeat to which they did upgrade to soft dance, good for us, but average age of guestp was probably not in favour. Once seated the staff were OK, champagne served quickly, tea in a beautiful silver pot accompanied by a cracked milk jug... The food again was OK but looked nothing like one of their promotional posters used i the hotel for afternoon tea. Simple changes and it could be great: Why not use the beautiful front seated area serve afternoon tea to maximise the grandeur of the hotel? Use linen napkins in place of cheap paper ones Check your crockery that has aged Pop some jazz, classic or piano music on Change your pictures used to promote to reflect what you actually get

I should've checked the reviews here first. Appalling experience, rude, dismissive, unprofessional staff. My 92 year mother had a Virgin Experience voucher. Although the details and expiry date were valid, they could not get their system to accept it. After an unpleasant discussion for 45 minutes, with her not being offered so much as a glass of water on a hot day, we left. Mistakes happen but there is no excuse for unprofessionalism, discourtesy and a complete lack of compassion.

Took my mum here for the champagne afternoon tea for Mother’s Day and the service and food was lovely. Really well decorated place, they left us waiting a little at the start but they were really busy and the staff were really accommodating too. Would definitely come back!

Love and enjoy the tea we had there one blemish was there being lipstick on my tea cup don't expect from a 5* hotel.

Bought champagnr afternoon tea as a gift for 2 friends. W as horrified that they were offered 1 cup of coffee and told they had to pay extra for a second cup. No wonder there were only 8 people having afternoon tea

We didn't stay at the hotel we were only there for an Afternoon tea. We were given a Virgin Experience Voucher for Christmas. The Afternoon tea, was absolutely gorgeous. Tasty bite sized selection of sandwiches. Followed by a variety of small cakes. Warm scones with jam and clotted cream finished the tea. Each served with a pot of tea/coffee. Set in a lovely, classic old building. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

A bit disappointed in the Afternoon Tea as the Scones were not cooked properly 😕 The rest of the food was OK

We had booked afternoon tea in their tea room, through virgin experience days. it was nice experience & pleasant evening. Ambience was nice & calm . Service was excellent and staff being very cordial. Being vegetarian we were given good number and variety of sandwiches. Chamomile tea was very nice & so was cappuccino which they had even refilled. In desserts we really liked their carrot cake and in scones I liked the fact that they had served them warm. I would have given all 5 stars had menu been little more innovative, adding more colours & flavours to the table. Sandwiches and desserts were decent enough but not one of the best I had eaten. For me and my husband we were looked after well by their staff , so service & staff gets full points and hence this review got 4 stars.

Reservé este junto con una visita a Kensington Palace primero como un regalo de cumpleaños para un amigo. Fue un poco de un viaje en autobús y a pie desde el palacio. Pero una vez allí era muy relajante. El personal era muy amable y no podía hacer más por ti. Siempre a mano para ofrecer más sándwiches, tortas o té. En general, disfrutamos muchísimo y no podía comer de todo, así que tuvimos que encierran y llevaron a casa las sobras para disfrutar de ellos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our high tea at this beautiful hotel. The sandwiches were fresh. Scones were soft and succulent. Many delicious delicate sweets were provided. A lovely day out. Highly recommend.

Tuvimos la suerte de poder cenar en este establecimiento en dos ocasiones distintas y no nos decepcionó en ningún momento.Un menú que se adaptaría a la mayoría de los comensales aseguraba un desafío al tratar de decidir qué tener. El personal del piso fue muy útil para guiarlo a través de los diversos platos y fue capaz de responder preguntas que teníamos.Después de ordenar no tuvimos que esperar mucho para recibir nuestras comidas y estuvieron a la altura de nuestras expectativas; bien presentado, con un gran sabor y muy atractivo.El comedor estaba muy bien presentado también; Cómodo y espacioso, que era encantador y los muebles de época estaban en buen estado y muy cómodos.Si se encuentra en la zona o en el Bentley, pruebe este restaurante y no se arrepentirá. Recomendado.

this hotel was superb. clean and tidy. rooms of a very high standard. breakfast perfectly displayed and hot. one night is not enough at this place. I could easily of stayed two weeks.

El restaurante de este hotel era perfecto para un almuerzo de cumpleaños, hay gente si estuvieras también tomar té de tarde aquí de nuevo lugar perfecto.El personal era muy amable, servicial y amable. Nos sentamos en 1,30 y no irse hasta después de las 6 pm. Y había una sensación de que no nos habíamos alojado en nuestra bienvenida o querían salir para que pudieran prepararse para la cena.Te cobran por más nos oyó diciendo que era mis hijas cumpleaños ( fue ella 21 st) y la trajo un postre sorpresa Feliz cumpleaños para ella! Encantador!El servicio era perfecto, tuve pasteles tailandesas de pescado para empezar, maravilloso. Lo principal era cerdo. Me pareció que era asado, por ejemplo, parto y cracklig, etc. pero era más como un Chop y un poco bien hecho para mi gusto, me gusta; un poco más 'jugoso' y la crema para el postre Bruleé era maravilloso.Enlos alrededores son ideales para una ocasión especial, muy opulento.Cuándo recoment este lugar a cualquiera que quisiera un almuerzo o cena especial

He estado utilizando el Bentley Hotel ahora para mis reuniones de negocios (almuerzos, té de la tarde, cenas, etc) por unos 1 años y medio, y sin duda el Bentley es en la parte superior del árbol.La experiencia desde el momento en que llegas, donde el equipaje es tomada desde el coche, se le llevará a través de un tranquilo salón, luego a través de la hermosa opulencia del entorno de la cena, es perfecto. El personal es siempre amable y nada es demasiado, la comida siempre ha sido excepcional y delicioso, incluso mi dieta son atendidos sin dudarlo. I coma en el Bentley varias veces por mes, y con una amplia gama de clientes de negocios, y siempre entregar, cada vez. Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia, y yo creo que debe ser debidamente anotado.Yo vivo y cene en hoteles, y viajamos mucho, y siempre nos encuesta nuestros miembros después de cada una de nuestras reuniones cena para asegurarse de que se estaban contentos con la experiencia. El Bentley obtuvo el primer lugar en nuestra 2014 encuesta, y no tengo duda lograr lo mismo otra vez en 2015.Siempre es un placer volver a el Bentley. Había reservado un té de la tarde con champán para reunirse con amigos, ya que he tenido una muy buena estancia aquí a principios de este año.

Nos dimos el capricho de una comida en este hotel bien merece la pena una visita, el menú fue muy emocionante y sabroso, champaña y vino muy bien, el servicio era excelente. tiempo estaba permitido entre campos que permite digerir su comida y saborear lo que tenía.

I booked a room and dinner at the Bentley for my husbands birthday. We decided to go for the 10 course taster menu with the sommelier's wine choice for each course. A word of warning: do NOT share a bottle of champagne and then drink cocktails before the meal! We were struggling to keep up with the copious amounts of wine during the meal and had to admit defeat at course number 5 because we were becoming too sloshed to taste the delicious food!!!! I'm glad to say we managed to complete all 10 food courses but sadly without half of the wine ( the sommelier even took half the cost of the wine off our bill because we hadn't got close to drinking it!). It was a fabulous evening and I would highly recommend it for a special occasion or just for the decadence of it.

If you would like to have a traditional nice cup of tea The Bentley could be recommended. Service was very good and the milieu and atmosphere very nice indeed.

Fantastic 10 course grazing menu matched with wines, a real experience rather than just a dinner out we all thoroughly enjoyed it, what a treat!

While the ambiance was great, they need to hire more servers, and my fish was a bit dry.....

Fine dining at an extreme - setting was as good as the food - superb.

Lovely food and wine.......... Great hotel also.

Best tasting menu ever with the wine menu even better.
