Shocking treatment!
We were ejected from the restaurant in the most unprofessional and rude way last night .
A drink had been spilt at the table, so the staff were prompt in passing paper roll to one of the party to mop it up. Normally, restaurant staff would clean the mess up on a table and not leave it for diners to do? . As they have tea candles on the table, the paper caught fire by mistake when passed across. water was thrown onto the paper, and the fire was extinguished immediately. The maître d' was extremely upset and rude, and we were thrown out. With immediate effect . Literally pushed away out before finishing all of our drinks after dinner .
This treatment was not only embarrassing for us but unprofessional and completely rude.
Live flames on the tables are dangerous. Especially small tealight candles. Hardly health and safety! On top of that, i had also burned my finger trying to grab a plate, as the candles were so small and at plate height level that they got lost in between the dishes. The tables were filled with multiple dishes, leaving no space to manoeuvre.
A birthday dinner ruined
I would suggest no tea candles on tables . and some serious staff training!
Such a fire hazard !. we could have been burned . It could have been far worse if not for the quick thinking of a friend who extinguished the flames with a glass of water before one of us was burned .

We had an amazing time staying with you! Everything was perfect, and Irina, you were absolutely incredible — so sweet, kind, and welcoming! You truly made our experience unforgettable. We felt at home thanks to you, and we can’t wait to come back and see you again!
First time at a purely vegan restaurant but food smelled tempting when we arrived. Cocktails were nice and we appreciated being able to order a carafe of wine rather than a bottle. Some dishes were delicious some rather bland, arancini were lovely, hummus tasty and large portion, cauliflower starter tasty but oily. Sri Lankan curry main was beautifully presented but rice was bland and whole thing needed more heat and punch, surprisingly nice paratha despite not being made with butter/ghee, burgers were OK, needed the relishes, fries were excellent, desserts overly sweet, about the same price as a non vegan meal which is probably why some people feel it's expensive. Service was a bit slow at times but didn't bother us as we were happy chatting. Would go back but would ask more about the dishes before ordering.
I was disappointed with my experience at Wasabi Sushi & Bento. There wasn’t a big variety of food like there usually is, and what we did get was lukewarm. The atmosphere felt dry and uninviting.
The place itself is very small, and the seating area is uncomfortable — the tables and stools are hard and not designed for anyone to actually sit and enjoy their food. We were just trying to sit and eat in peace, but it was difficult because the security guard kept watching us the entire time, which made us feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome, even though we had paid quite a bit for our food. It’s not a full sit-down restaurant, but they do have a small seating area — still, it was hard to relax for a minute.

When you’re craving for Filipino cuisine, Kasa and Kin is definitely the best choice if you’re in Central London. They have a wide selection of truly Filipino specialties. Still a lot for us to try so we will be visiting again soon. Kasa and Kin team were also very friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations. In terms of getting a table, it’s better to book a table in advance as they tend to get busy and full especially on weekends and meal times. Our first try was walk-in and we were not able to secure a table thus we made sure to book for the next day.

Best place in london to celebrate someones birthday - even if its not their birthday. Especially if its not. Broccoli's better than gaias. Phone rotation recommended to fully appreciate the handwriting.
Just want to say what an amazing evening we had at lucky voice soho on Thursday.
We had been to see MJ the musical for my partners birthday and didn’t want the evening to end there!
So we went for a walk and came across this gem.
We were made so welcome by Thomas (I think the manager) he was a star and we had such a laugh with him and he just made our night tbh.
All the staff were so friendly and attentive.
We didn’t eat there so no score for thag but the drinks were delicious.
The cocktails were fab and happy hour was on haha so we stocked up!
Anyway just wanted to say we had a great time and can’t wait to come back in July. 10/10 and highly recommend xx
We appreciate the concept of the restaurant and the fresh ingredients, but our experience here was unfortunately subpar to say the least. We were placed next to a large group booking of 30+ covers and told we could not move elsewhere eventhough half of the restaurant was empty. The air conditioning was blowing in our faces and we were very cold, and they told us they would turn it off since they would not move us, but they turned it back on after 5 minutes of mercy. The food was served in an inexplicable order with some sides served before appetizers, and the other appetizers being nowhere to be found 20+ minutes after sides were served. Despite all this, I would have been happy to leave a more generous review if the food made the uncomfortable experience worth it - it did not. We found the food to be very overpriced and flavorless. I have also received better service at many Wetherspoons’. A rather unenjoyable experience all told.
Amazing place!! I went to Señor Ceviche with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and we both left very satisfied and happy with the service! The food and the drinks were amazing, and the staff was very friendly and professional, especially Kaycie R who was our waitress for the night.Thank you :)
100% recommended and we will definitely be back!
We asked for a table by the window and the Indian waitress, whose name I don't know, took our order. She was very friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious.
