Amazing place rooms a bit small but fun

I love this karaoke place! I am a regular here: amazing choice of songs, the bar is quite nice, the staff is amazing - Queen, Liyah, and Manny - they are kind and it's so nice to discuss with them!

I can safely call this the worst customer experience of my life dealing with the unfriendly and hostile front desk assistant and security. After having spent a considerable amount on a bottle of wine to celebrate a friends 40th the staff deemed it necessary to kick me out of the bar, ten minutes later, after requesting more friends to join us. I was met with hostility over this request, and told very aggressively to go back to the room in a threatening manner from the security guard. I apologised repeatedly to the girl at the front if there had been some sort of miscommunication and when I disputed being aggressively told to go back or be kicked out, he and the front desk person kicked me out. I would avoid this utterly foul staffed place, as reason and sense clearly escapes them. My manner remained calm throughout and what should have been an enjoyable celebration of my friends rather significant life occasion was destroyed by rude and senseless, undertrained hostile people whom I look forward to never encountering again.

Had an amazing time, the staff are all very attentive. Sam especially was lovely.

Great time, however, kept having to complain about the microphone cutting in and out. They did try to fix but lost 15-20mins of time and resolved with a shot, not ideal when not all the party drink. Extra time would have been better.

I came here for a nice night out and we were accompanied and looked after Lindsay. She did everything she could as a manager to make us have a great experience! I love this place as it goes the extra mile for you when you least expect it! Thank you again!

This was a very spontaneous thing for me and my friends! Was greeted warmly by the staff and was showed in by Lindsay, who was in fact indeed amazing and kind, showed us how things worked. Great customer service from her and great vibes. We enjoyed this night out and it will be one to remember!!!

I've ever not had a good night here. Loads of song choices and attentive staff.

The room we got was quite small for 8-9+ people, as soon as our time was up pretty much immediately one of the staff, who I’m going to guess was a manager- basically barged in kicking us out rushing us ‘we need this room now’ which ruined our experience when that’s just rude and not a good customer service experience, let alone how to talk to customers who have not done anything wrong. Was one of the black women with a long straight/wavy hair. Was a shame as it was a birthday and we looked after the room very well.

Unfortunately there's was only 2 microphones between the 3 of us, but still we had a blast. Did not try the food so can not comment, drinks were not allowed in, and had to pay £4.95 for a redbull each better off getting a package that they offered 😭.

Eight of us visited here on a Saturday for my husbands birthday. Loved it as you have your own soundproof room, so no embarrassment! Recommend to anyone as was brilliant fun. Only downside drinks are very expensive!

It’s all looking very rundown now and not very inviting. The worst thing about it tho are the extremely overpriced drinks which are of just the absolute worst quality. I won’t be back and don’t think anyone should go either.

The safety of the patrons comes secondary to the convenience of the staff.

The staff and karaoke was great. The drinks however were awful and amazingly expensive. £92 for 2 bottles of wine. Never tasted prosecco like it....pretty sure it wasn't prosecco. Tasted like white lightning.

Great! Staff were very attentive and friendly. It was a bit slower on drinks when it got busy which is fair enough. The system is really up to date with songs, the room has cute disco ball and coloured lights, it felt clean and not stuffy how some karaoke rooms often do. The pizzas were good!! Though it felt like 1 pizza per person was too much, we ended up leaving probably 2 of the 5 pizzas altogether behind as it was too much. I hate to waste food so it'd be nicer if you could start off with less pizza and then ask for more if you need.

The staff here are great! We came here for a birthday party and booked a private room. They looked after us throughout the evening and helped us when needed. The bar has lots of cocktails and a good number of no/low alcohol options. Would definitely come again. My only feedback would be to make the pricing more flexible, such as per room rather than per person. If you’re a group booking in advance, pricing per person isn’t ideal as on the night you cannot always be certain how many will show up. Some may cancel last minute or want to bring a guest. Overall it was a fun time and would recommend this location. Thank you Lucky Voice team!

Had great fun here. They've plenty of songs of different genres. But it's expensive af, so much that we didn't get any drinks or anything there the whole time. You also can't take in any food or drinks from outside, I get it to some extent but a half bottle of Dr.p. Also we had to wait 5/10 mins after booking time for the room to be available

I have always loved coming to Lucky Voice for karaoke with friends in private booth. The Soho branch is my favourite, convenient location where we could have dinner then go for a sing with drinks. The English song variety is pretty decent, with some Chinese, Korean and limited Japanese songs. I would give it 5 stars if there were more songs from the other 3 languages. You can do the song list prior going via their website, so you can just go into the booth and just sing! Great place to have fun with friends!

Great venue, but the pricing just makes no sense at all. Why for a karaoke box, do you pay per person? The time the box is occupied is the same, but the more people the more you pay, but then you have less time to actually participate per person. karaoke should be priced per room per hour, that's it. No other logical option available. You can get other karaoke boxes in London for literally a 20% of the price. Their response earlier to drink prices is also absurd "They are in line with competitors". Well, be more competitive, you don't have to charge what other bars are charging. Lucky Voice is price gauging instead of offering good value for money entertainment to the city.

Had a great time here! Staff could be a little short but they still clearly wanted everyone to have a good time. The rooms are a little cozy, but just right for a party of four. Great selection of songs, with a chance to set up a playlist online before your booking. Cocktails were really nice -- I recc the Purple Rain!

I had a great time here, it’s a lot of fun and the staff are so amazing and friendly! They work really hard and you can tell because the rooms are so clean even with a really quick turnaround. I’ve had to take 2 stars off just because of the drinks prices they are OUTRAGEOUS. It’s £44 for a bottle of Prosecco by the time service is added, and £14 for a g&t. Considering you’ve already paid like £25 a head for the room, it’s a bit much!

Really enjoyed the experience. Good selection of songs. We got in quickly and the staff were attentive. The time just flew by! The only down side is price which was £30 a head for 2 hours in the karaoke booth. Drinks where quite pricey too but it is London.

Be careful when booking on this place. We had a reservation for last night, got there on time. The person on the door, who was very rude, told us that there was no space and that our reservation was not valid. It is the second time that i make a reservation there and the people in the door lie saying that my reservation was not valid because it was past mid night. Extremely upsetting and unacceptable. Never going back

We booked a group for our friend's birthday party and were disappointed to find out that the venue would not be letting us in due to a couple of members not having physical ID's (pictures were on hand). This was not the major issue though. After not clearly specifying the need for a physical instance of ID, the venue then did not offer an adequate refund for our payments and ended up ruining the night for us, but more importantly, our friend who had made the booking for her birthday. It seems others have experienced something similar. If you're thinking of booking a karaoke place, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

Door staff was very racist. Said that we were hiding cannabis on our persons and searched us quite aggressively - a group of four ladies. Obviously this was not the case. Felt very racially motivated, when we expressed that, he became quite aggressive in order to intimidate us. I did share this with the foh staff but they didn’t seem to care. This took place last Saturday and was a friends birthday. Put quite a dampener on the experience. I’ve read through a few of the reviews and it looks like our experience isn’t unique. Please do something about this.
