Great pub for a drink or two after work. Has a nice Christmas feel with all the decorations. Not over the top. Couple of pool tables and darts board upstairs.

The perfect english pub. Can't miss

Good pub, 3 casks on (Landlord, Greene King IPA and a 3rd I forget). Sight lines to tvs everywhere on ground and first floor which was good for watching rugby. Not sure what is on them outside major events. 2 pools tables and 2 dart boards on 1st floor in nice separate area with tv views but not blocking through traffic. Dart boards could both do with a rotation (if not replacement)but both in nice cabinets with clear oche. Friendly staff

Dietro il banco un signore gentilissimo! Serviti subito, cibo buono, ma non ottimo, e birra perfetta (la mia Guinness spillata in maniera impeccabile). Credo che la sera sia sicuramente molto meglio! Il pub ha tutto dell'atmosfera inglese, non credo si possa volere di più. Peccato non averci potuto passare una serata tra amici... magari la prossima volta.

Great greene king pub was going to have london glory but when poured it was off sadly so was timothy taylors land lord a d greene king ipa was just starting to turn so very sad as ales not in good order however very clean pub and very friendly staff

Popped in for a quick pint with some friends, I do like a good Greene King pub, and this was just how I liked it. There is plenty of space. Really good selection of drinks. However, we only stayed for the one sadly as the lady behind the bar didn't smile once. Took the order and the money and plonked the drinks on the counter without so much of a enjoy. Needless to say we had our drink and left.

This is a tardus of a pub. All the staff were great, friendly and professional. They looked after us giving recommendations. We ended up staying for more drinks after our lunch , bexause of the great atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

I love this pub. The staff are great (big props to Jayne especially). There's a reason we're here all the time. There are not many pubs in the city which have a good inside and outside, great food, aesthetic and still with pool, darts and shows tonnes of sports. The greatest gem in the City.

Really nice burger. Only thing, it said it came with ‘onion rings’, and came with two tiddlers i could barely fit on my finger. When i asked the bearded guys, ‘i thought it came with onion rings’, the said ‘that is it’ and walked off. Feel a bit scammed

This is my favourite spot in the City. It was a fairly busy lunchtime, but Nicole served me quickly. I ordered lovely steak sandwich with chips and pint of cider. Food was hot and delicious, service quick and friendly. Just what you need when you have only an hour for lunch. Thank you team Raglan!

A group of friends visited this pub/restaurant looking for a light lunch on Tuesday 20 August 2024. There was a good menu, with something for our different requirements. The service was fast, courteous and efficient and the food delicious. We will return.

We had a wonderful time at the Lord Raglan , drinking cool beers on a hot afternoon . The Landlady was very friendly and helpful. We will come back and bring some friends with us next week .

Have been a few times and the food has been good. Unfortunately the food was not up to the usual high standard. Good nonetheless but disappointing compared to previous lunches. Still, I will continue to come here for lunch. Update, August 2024. Came in for lunch and had the lunch & drink, steak sandwich, chips and a pint. Food was excellent, bread was fresh and soft, chips were perfect, service fast and friendly. Updated with extra star.

Having moved to work from an office in Gutter Lane post COVID it was great to find a new local city pub. The Lord Raglan is a 'proper English' pub, it has the perfect atmosphere, decor and provides a definitive experience. My colleagues/friends and I love it and it has become our local goto destination for after work drinks, food and pool. The staff are welcoming, friendly, professional and offer excellent service. When quiet it feels like a perfect hideaway for a lunch, when busy the vibe really comes alive, surrounded by people enjoying themselves. Lots of seating over two floors, outside seating for the summer and pool tables upstairs. I highly recommend a visit to all!

Don’t often review but had such a lovely evening in this friendly pub. Love the atmosphere and staff who were so helpful and gave us so many recommendations.

Out with colleagues and a pub wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service was great. Recommended

Great experience for a group of 17 people - food all came quickly, correct and at the same time and in the main only clean plates left other than those who couldn't finish the generous portions. Attentive service and tasty food.

Enjoying a sneaky few days away , we decided to return to this lovely London pub as our first visit was very satisfying. Once again it didn't disappoint, we opted for the burgers this time which were very wholesome and deliciously tasty 😋 ... the staff again very welcoming, thanks for a lovely visit. What a lovely pub. Found it on our way to St Paul’s. Great selection of drinks and the bar inside looked beautiful. Staff were super friendly which makes a change for a pub in London and the fish and chips my son had was delicious. We will definitely be back again if in the area

We are locals and regulars to this bar. I was very disappointed with the way we were treated on this occasion. We ordered two rounds of drinks and food. There was no sign on our table but one of our party had external food (we had a child). She very rudely asked us to put our food away (a blond woman). We did not know she worked here as she was smoking a cigarette with a Tesco bag and our server did not make a comment. It could have been a comment. We agreed but she processed to tell us to get rid of the food . It was quite sad at a pub such as this is so threatened by outside food when usually their food is very good.

I’ve read others reviews so I know I’ve come on the wrong night! Service at the bar was less than functional and pretty dead behind the eyes. I’m not being personal - she’s probably had a bad day but blimey. Don’t let it put you off - nice pub and on any other day I’m sure you’ll love it

Great atmosphere, but absolutely dead, no one here. Maybe it's the day, maybe the time of day, I dunno. Food was fine, mainly came here so the kids could try pub food. Not my cup of tea, but they enjoyed.

We came here looking for somewhere to watch the football and the lady at the front was very accommodating to squeeze us in despite being almost fully booked. Big screens and great atmosphere

A few of us went here for lunch following a tour of The Royal Courts Of Justice and the Old Bailey. Great food and service and would definitely go back.

On a trip to London I left my bag in the Lord Raglan. Unfortunately I didn’t recall the name so couldn’t reach out. A wonderful Lady called Jane contacted me a few days later (business card in bag) to say she had the bag safe and sound and helped to get the bag couriered back to me all the way to Scotland. It arrived today with all the contents intact including laptop and tablet. Thankfully there are still some decent people in the world.

We love this pub. Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff. Reasonably priced and tasty food. We also get the small plates and share. They change regularly and have a good variety. Highly recommend

Basically, my experience was completely made by the way that Jane helped, supported, and catered to our needs. It was a Euros booking and when I spoke to her on the phone she was professional, helpful, and friendly which is a difficult mix to achieve… especially when you work in a busy pub! On the day of our actual booking she was so welcoming, I felt like I was one of the locals. And she dealt with the crowds of football fans like an absolute champ. Her team are a testament to her greatness.

Fantastic ambiance, food and service! Would recommend anyone in the area (or out) to venture this way for an amazing London experience. Our group had some great ciders and cocktails, fish and chips, steak pie and an assortment of delicious appetizers. Highly recommend the breaded halloumi but honestly everything we had was great.

We always come on Tuesdays as a big group after orchestra, and are always well accommodated - especially as we usually have big instruments! Great atmosphere and drinks, bartender Jordan is great and so friendly! Always good customer service here :)
