Excellent Peruvian food in London, with a slight modern twist. Service is very attentive, and everything is really well made. Decided to go for a la carte instead of the tasting menu. The corquetas weren't as good as I would expect from a place like this. But everything else we ordered was great. The causa was probably my favorite, but then again it's probably one of my favorite Peruvian dishes in general. The food came at the right pace, was well seasoned, and the atmosphere was relaxed and not uptight. I also really like the decor they have there.

Really gone downhill since it lost its Michelin star. Despite their already limited menu they had missing items. A lot of their blockbuster dishes like chaufa fried rice, Cuzco one bread and warm seafood ceviche all gone. Tap water also cost £3 / person when by law it’s meant to be free. Also tried to pull a fast one and deny us the set menu price and the maitre’d was extremely condescending when we pointed it out. I used to recommend this place all the time - now I wouldn’t revisit even if they paid me to. Service was slow beyond imagination - each savory course took 30 mins to server - ridiculous considering how little patrons there were. Also as a point of hygiene - they lay the silverware out on the bare table - which the wipe off using the same table cloth for each table. You really couldn’t point any redeemable features out. Mains were also disproportionately seasoned and ceviche overly acidic compared to past 2 times. Dessert admittedly good - but honestly at the end of such a letdown of an experience- night as we’ll head to Maccas for a £ ice cream.

Unfortunately a real let down. Summary: Service: extremely confused staff, mixing up dishes and drinks and not knowing ingredients in dishes. Food: the best thing were the fried boquerones which came with the tuna ceviche. Tuna Tartare was tasteless, aubergine was undercooked and bland with miso rubbed on top (usually the miso would be on the aubergine before cooking to add some flavour, very strange and inedible), crab and sweet potato was ok but with an offensive strawberry sauce that didn’t at all compliment. Such a shame for such an overpriced restaurant, it’s hard to believe they were given a star some time ago! Love the food. Absolutely amazing. Ordered the cerviche and quinoto del mar which was amazing. But the seating arrangement was a bit too close.

We visited the Sunny Street restaurant for Valentines and it was amazing, wonderful menu and their drinks menu was delightful, I’m currently alcohol feee and they had a sparkling wine option for me and beautiful mocktails. The food is delicious and so beautifully presented, the service was exceptional and they had great music on. The lamb we had has been the best we’ve ever had, perfectly cooked. Thank you so much! We will be back for the a la carte menu!

Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, so they kindly gave us a couple of complimentary Pisco Sours while we waited all of five minutes. They then gave us the perfect table, as my partner and I like to sit next to each other, rather than opposite. The food was delicious - a bit milder than I was expecting, based on my time in the city of Lima. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, and bill a bit higher. But staff were attentive, and overall we were happy with what was a special night out.

Lima Fitzrovia was a wonderful experience; the staff was very attentive and friendly. The starters were quite good, and the main course was nice. The sea bass was very tasty, although it was a bit salty. We really enjoyed the desserts. Since we discovered the restaurant on Instagram, we wanted to try the chef’s lunch menu. Initially, we went to Lima Shoreditch, but unfortunately, they don’t offer this option after 3 PM and turned us away at the door. This was very disappointing and frustrating.

Food of good quality and portion. Service was decent. However I wasn’t happy about their service charge - it says 12.5% but I was actually charged with 13.5%.

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Great service throughout the evening and the food was outstanding.

Great food. Nice space - table slightly too high for me but comfortable seats. Good service although I found the tags for your coats a bit annoying and it would be better if they stored your coat by table and you weren't left feeling you were in a club queue. But overall very good tasty restaurant

La comida era muy cara y de mal gusto. Teníamos un entrante compartido que consistía en un panecillo y una cucharada de algo que parecía un emoji de billar, aunque insípido. Cada uno tenía un plato principal y una copa de vino, y la cuenta era de casi £ 100. ¡Intentaron cobrarnos 6 libras por el agua del grifo! El camarero pateaba constantemente la silla de mis maridos, incluso después de que se lo dijeran! Horrible experiencia, no volveríamos.

I’ve been to Lima three times, and the food is outstanding every single time. The dishes are beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a stylish, modern vibe, and the service is top-notch. A must-try!

10/10 all around. Great tasting menu at a reasonable cost (£55 for the smaller tasting menu with 5 dishes). Great mix of flavours with Peruvian influence, all using fresh ingredients that compliment each other in a unique and interesting way. Great service and very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with low lighting yet a lively and bustling feel. Good for a nice occasion, dinner with friends or date night!

I tried the classic tasting. It was a wonderful experience. The food plates amazing, the portions as needed in order to taste six different consortions. The accompanying alcohol was paired with love and care. The staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant's atmosphere very cozy and relaxing.

It was ok. Food, drinks, service - nothing too memorable other than the bill at the end.😂 There was a lot of staff running around, up and down the stairs yet strangely service was pretty slow.

From the welcome at the door, Lima London provided a relaxed dining experience. Catching up with a friend, we made our way through the Classico tasting menu with excellent pairings. Every mouthful an explosion of flavours! As we walked to our respective tube, we talked about the taste sensation, and our Lima Fitzrovia experience. I will be back.

I tried the six-course tasting accompanied by alcoholic drinks. Exceptional plates and tastes, with good portions and very time-appropriate and friendly service. Highly recommended, even though slightly pricey.

Mafer, Firdavs and the team took wonderful care of us on our anniversary, making us feel very special! Of the “Tierra y Mar” set menu, while the Octopus and Wagyu each left something to be desired, the rest of the dishes were excellent, particularly the ceviche and the chocolate tart and sorbet! Lovely drinks to go with the food as well.

Lovely evening and my 3rd time at Lima - I love the interesting food as Peruvian is quite unusual in the UK and it has a nice smart but informal ambience. We had the tasting menu and several cocktails so it wasn’t cheap but the food was excellent esp the ceviche and the pork secrete. The service was friendly and attentive. A fun evening with friends.

An awesome Peruvian restaurant! We ordered a la carte and were completely impressed. Our waiter recommended various cocktails to pair with each dish, all of which went wonderfully. The dishes themselves were taste bombs. My personal highlights were the beef in coriander sauce and the super tender Iberico pork. A dream! Conclusion: absolute recommendation!

Popped in for a relaxed dinner. Made reservation in advance. It wasn't as busy being Monday evening. The host and the server were quite hospitable. I opted to ask for their recommendation on the vegetarian options - not many and most have eggs. I was informed the menu is changing around March and they'd want me to try it then. We were the last one to leave. I'd recommend it if you eat meat. Vegetarians probably skip unless you fancy some drinks

We really liked the welcome, service, service. There is a team that is both attentive and smiling. We ordered the 5-course tasting menu and a few extras. In terms of taste, the wagyu was very bland, the octopus course was visually beautiful but cold and hard. The ceviche was delicious.

Husband and I visited five Michelin mentioned restaurants on our four day London holiday, including two one-star restaurants. This was our favorite, hands down. Perfectly cooked. Fantastic combinations. Lovely attentive staff. Energetic atmosphere. Did the Classico option and was not disappointed.

We chose this place because many of us like Peruvian food, and we were absolutely right. From the smooth communication with the restaurant manager who helped us choose the menu that best suited our budget, to the food and service in general, we liked absolutely everything. The whole team enjoyed a very pleasant evening, and the food was all very delicious. We will definitely come back and recommend this place without a doubt.

Ceviche Clasico was one of the best i've ever tasted. Especially choclo made the difference. Equally tasty was Pisco Sour. Waguy Skirt was the least exotic dish on the five-course menu. However, I liked the portion of overcooked meat. Octopus and Crab Causa was a bit disappointing portion because the crushed potato served cold didn't even taste like a good potato. I could have lived without dessert: chocolate tart and lime ice-cream didn't go well together. Then again it was a fine evening. The service was prompt and friendly. Be prepared for London prices.

I chose to spend my birthday here and I am so happy I did. Food was amazing, they perfectly catered to my gluten free friend and have us more starters. The service was honestly so warm and I felt like we were taken very good care of. We even got a Polaroid picture at the end and some digestif shots… highly recommend, thank you Lima!

Food is not good. Not at all. Tasteless ceviche and bad wagyu. The bread is bad too. And the dulce de leche dessert has not dulce de leche. Literally. The service is fantastic though. Everyone was very kind. Paid 75 pounds per person for a very bad dinner.

Honestly the best ceviche in London. Consistently good, unpretentious and so fresh. The Wagyu beef was cooked to perfection and I loved the quinoa risotto. The cherry on top were the pisco sours - also probably the best I've had in London.

I dined with a group of friends; we all took the set menu. The food was just so bad - the ingredients didn’t feel fresh, everything was the wrong temperature (lukewarm wagyu), and the presentation was worse than food I would prepare at home. The only decent dish was the ceviche. The staff was super inattentive, missing details like ensuring everyone had a glass for wine (then not bringing one when we requested so we went to the bar ourselves). This place has really fallen off since I first ate there in 2019.

We had dinner here last weekend. What a beautiful spot, with amazing staff! The service was outstanding, very attentive and warm. The food looked great, but the flavors didn’t blow us away. It was fine, not everything was to our taste however. The shiso leaf with tuna is amazing, the croquettas and quinoto weren’t very rememberable. Tuna with tiger milk was fine. Since the staff were so great, I really cannot give 3 stars, they made it 4 :). I think we might also be a little disappointed in the food because of the high price range, that maybe set the bar and expectations too high.

Fuimos a almorzar y algunos probamos el NUEVO menú degustación que consta de: croquetas de pollo aji , ceviche (por supuesto) , cangrejo y pulpo causa, filete de falda wagyu de cocción lenta con una deliciosa salsa y una ensalada única , y de postre, un cuadrado de sobresaliente pastel de chocolate piura con trocitos de piña y coco asados! Pan casero y una deliciosa mantequilla mezclada con jarabe de algarrobo para empezar junto al mejor pisco sour de Londres. Han pasado más de 12 años desde que Lima abrió por primera vez en Londres, encabezando la moda gastronómica peruana. Siguen siendo fuertes; ahora tienen tres sedes en Londres (Covent Garden y la City) y nos han dicho que van a volver a ser internacionales.

I decided to only write reviews for restaurants that actually do stand out in terms of service and food, as this industry has been hit hard over the years, and Lima Fitzrovia is just one of those places. Firstly, the music was just the right level to hear people dinning on our table but not the people around. We chose from the A la Cart menu to share between us, and it was just enough. Secondly, considering they were a person down during lunch service, it was still impeccable and they were all attentive. The food was delicious, from the melt in the mouth butter and delicious Peruvian breads to the ceviche, scallops and melt in the mouth beef and lamb chops to the deserts. The ceviche had the right balance and the sauce was delicious, the corn bread reminded us of corn bread that we eat in South America. Don't forget Christmas is around the corner and if you are going to see a show or a bit of shopping then why not try here, it is near Tottenham Court Road. Thank you to the team at Lima Fitzrovia, London, you really made our Mums' birthday special.

Second time i was here. Incredible as always! The Nikkei ceviche and Wagyu beef saltado reminds me of Lima, Peru.. 100% tasty!! We also tried “Tierra y Mar” set menu which has an amazing Octopus and Crab Causa! Loved it! The service excellent, we went with our 7months baby boy and they provided all the facilities :)

We ate here a year ago and the food was exceptional, we however did not have the same experience this year. No longer the taste sensation we remembered. Even the Pisco sours was too sweet and not as sour as previously made. Overall it was ok, disappointed it was not at the same exceptional level and now just an average Peruvian fusion restaurant.

Had a lovely delicious dinner at Lima Fitzrovia with a friend coming to London for the first time. The service in this restaurant was outstanding with a great attention to customers. Lima Fitzrovia left a very good impression on my friend with the quality of the food and the service. The food was high standard, the salmon we both ordered and the starters were a 10. The only minor inconvenience was that it was slightly loud because of the chatter so we had to raise our voices to be able to hear each other, but I would definitely come back regardless

Mixed Experience at Lima This was our first time at Lima and our first encounter with Peruvian cuisine. Given the buzz around Peruvian food, we were eager to discover it at Lima. The restaurant itself is lovely—tastefully decorated with a nice contemporary atmosphere. It doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of the Andes, which is actually a good thing! We opted for the six-course “Clasico” tasting menu with wine pairing. Overall, it was good but not exceptional. I felt that most of the dishes (except the ceviche) lacked “energy” and tasted somewhat bland. While plating was consistently well-done, the dishes themselves lacked punch and complexity; they didn’t leave a lasting impression. By the end of the dinner, the only one I clearly remembered was the stone bass ceviche. The others faded quickly from memory. As for the wine pairing, we really enjoyed the cocktails served with the first course and dessert—they were excellent. The wines, however, were quite average. It was also a bit disappointing to never be served directly from the bottle. Instead, glasses arrived already poured, with only approximate descriptions from the server. In conclusion, I feel that this restaurant invests more in ambiance than in the food itself. It leaves me with mixed feelings; while it wasn’t a bad evening, I still felt something was missing…

We visited for my husband’s birthday with our 2 young children. It was an unforgettable experience, the food was delicious from the bread to the dessert; yummy cocktails; the staff super friendly and very understanding with the children and an unfortunate sickness of one of my sons; lovely and relaxing environment; we had a lovely surprise for my husband at the end of the meal as per my booking request. We also appreciated we were not rushed as usually at the London restaurants and it was all stress-free. The lunch menu was definitely value for money. Thanks and we’ll be back again!

45mn to order a bottle, another 30 mn to get the bottle, ridiculously small single slice of octopus in my octopus dish, left the restaurant after the tasting menu 4 of us still hungry.

We expected more, as a Peruvian living abroad I didn't find it that amazing. The quality of the dishes is certainly good, I have no doubt about that. We had the menu, fine but not outstanding, poor in taste. The service still needs to be improved, the wine etc. for the individual courses did not arrive in time. The lighting is too dark. For tourists with moderate to good knowledge of English, the pronunciation of the service staff was simply not understandable. We consumed over 400 pounds, on top of which a special tax of 12.5% ​​was added, which is apparently common in London. We didn't think this was supposed to replace the "voluntary" tip. With prices like these, you should leave the amount of the tip up to the guests instead of putting this directly on the bill. Well, we were there three times: the first, only and last time. It's a shame, Peruvian CUISINE is otherwise fantastic everywhere.

Absolutely stunning and delicious! Came here to celebrate my birthday and the service was 11/10! Everything was amazing but the Ceviche classico was my favourite. Flavours were perfectly balanced.

Reading many of the reviews we were looking very much forward to this dinner. Expectations were high but not over the top. To sum it up we were really disappointed in all ways. The Starters: Ceviche was ok but far from being something special. The Tuna tartar was literally a teaspoon of Tuna together with something crusty what we couldn't identify. The Mains: The Salmon was burnt on one side and not more than ok taste wise. The Iberico Pork, estimated around 100 gr, together with a few potatos was OK but quite tasteless. The Dessert: A tablespoon of mousse au chocolate and Dulce di Leche also quite disappointing. Although the restaurant was quite full it is not so big. So the 3 waiters could have easily done the job. It took us 20 mins to get a second glass of wine and additional 10 mins for them to clean the table after the starters. For the total of 230 gbp incl. 0,5 ltr. Wine and two bottles of water it is totally overpriced from what you get. Can't recommend this restaurant at all and we will definitely not go there again.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and the atmosphere is perfect for a memorable evening. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the service provided by the host, Maria Fernanda. Her warm welcome and thoughtful recommendations made me feel right at home. My personal highlights were the ceviche, which was fresh and flavorful, and the Dulce de Leche miloja for dessert, a delightful way to end the meal. Highly recommend

Great food and fantastic service from all involved

This restaurant in Fitzrovia is surprising by how good it is. Really warm and friendly welcome. The food was so delicious and with a lot of different flavors. The staff as well was really helpful and gave us good advice. I recommend this restaurant you won’t regret it!

Lovely restaurant. Interesting menu which was all very tasty and beautifully presented. The standout dishes were the iberico pork and the chocolate mousse. Everything tasted great. The one "could do better" was the asparagus salad. It was a delicious quinoa and carrot salad in a fabulous sauce, garnished with half a asparagus spear( only the stem not the head) and a little bit of spring onion the name was completely misleading, the dish delicious. Wine was good and by the glass not an unreasaonable price. Will be back!

Visits to Lima never disappoint. Once again the work in the kitchen was exemplary and imaginative, the service friendly and efficient. A Monday lunchtime is likely to be unusually quiet in most restaurants, so the atmosphere was subdued. Nonetheless we enjoyed an excellent meal. Good luck to all at Lima as the new Shoreditch outpost opens.

Locale carino, raccolto con stile moderno. Sala principale e seconda sala al piano inferiore. Cordiale lo staff di sala, brillante il manager italiano. Cucina dai sapori decisi, consiglio assolutamente il Quintero del mar davvero sublime. Il conto è in linea con i costi di Londra ma almeno ne vale la pena. Con una bottiglia da 75 sterline, il conto è stato di 120 sterline a testa. Consiglio una visita.

Superb food as always - the Iberico pork is so tender - a real treat. The Andean tubers (black potatoes) are divine, and don’t forget to order some bread. Fabulous!

I chose this place for my boyfriend's post-birthday dinner due to its casual nature and great reviews. Having worked at 5 star hotels and attended several upscale dining experiences in the past, I wanted to take him to a down to earth, high-end restaurant and I can confidently say, our evening was exceptional. The food was incredible and beautifully presented, the staff is attentive and the atmosphere is exactly what we like (my boyfriend is somewhat intimidated by white tablecloth restaurants). Thank you for the wonderful time and for making us feel at ease. x
