Place used to be great. Menu has changed. Now the staff are moody, don’t tell you the price or say a word before offering the card reader, and a breakfast now costs £14. Used to come all the time, great location, shan’t be back

Perfect spot, slice of solitude in London, next to a canal. Could not be better. Tables in and out, good food. Staff are nice - only issue is the service can be very slow. You walk in, and to the counter, and instead of somebody immediately asking you what you want, they always seem to be finishing something else, some tidying, putting cups away, whatever. All important of course, and they are nice people. But somebody needs to tell them that when a customer walks in, the first thing to do is server that person. That what we catering people know is the first rule.

Food hygiene appalling. The person handling food did so without gloves, handled money and ear cleaning! The simple order was wrong 3 times - baked potato with beans. Didn’t have cheese as assistant just dug her bare hands into the mound of cheese. Potato cold. Requested a change but plain this time. Came with beans and no butter as requested. Gave in. Lovely location but you need food hygiene training.

Lovely cafe with outside dining and nicely designed building. Everything looks quirky and fresh. The staff are very jolly and friendly. The high quality of the ingredients is very noticeable and food is well put together with set dishes but you can make your own. Will be back. Reasonably priced

Lovely hidden gem right by the canal. As a boater I look forward to mooring close by great coffee / chai. But the toasted sandwiches are huge and amazing 👏

Had a sandwich lunch at Grand Junction Cafe today. I had the toasted Tuna sandwich and my friend had Cheese & Ham. Both were really delicious, good value, cooked fresh and a great location (just by the canal walkway). The staff were super friendly and polite. I would definitely eat here again. Thank YOU!

The coffee was fine. I had avocado on toast, covered in kimchi and a spicy mayonnaise. Unusual combination; it worked, but possibly too spicy for most people I suspect. Marked down because I had to wait 10 minutes for a coffee and over 30 minutes for the avo on toast. Admittedly it was quite busy at the time.

I am still sitting here and had to review as breakfast was so good! Cool venue, right by the canal with indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service and good deals. I had mushrooms and fried eggs on toasted (fried?) Sourdough toast with a coffee, the food is very very tasty, and good coffee too, all for £7 (and a little extra for oat milk). Quiet, good for people watching, looks like they do other things too. Highly recommended.

My wife & i visited for the first time yesterday. Cafe was clean with lots of choice but 2 members of staff on were very rude and spoilt the whole experiance. Ordered vegan sausage choice to find it comes with eggs?? How is that vegan?? Need to sort the menu out!! When i spoke to guy cooking he got really stroppy! Other customers were getting wrong orders but staff seemed to busy chatting to each other or on their phones. They really let it down!! Such a shame. Food was good value though.

I went today to work from there with my laptop. The place is nice and accessible from the towpath. I've got an oat cappuccino that was amazing and a sausage vegan toast. So let me tell you properly. I had many vegan tosts, sandwiches, etc etc.. that toast just blow my mind, it was absolutely incredible! I definitely recommend it. Don't get scared from the low number of reviews this place deserve more so give it a try!

This lovely coffee shop is part of one of Londons' most lovely churches - St Mary Magdalene. The coffee shop is clean, modern and integrated into the historic building. There is indoor and plenty of outdoor seating. A good range of teas, coffee, herbal teas, fresh cakes - all promptly served. We arrived as a group on a walking tour and they managed to serve us all promptly without any fuss. The cafe has toilet facilities. Do take time to look around the wonderful church.

We have visited this cool cafe a few times, and each time we have been made to feel very welcome. It's a moment away from the canal and a great place to sit in the sun. We highly recommend the breakfast deal of croissant and tea/coffee for just £3

A café with good coffee is always hard to find – so stumbling on the Grand Junction Café on the banks of the Grand Union Canal is like a blessing from heaven. Possibly this explains why it’s located on the site of St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Paddington. But enough of the ecclesiastical jokes. Let’s cut to the chase … This café doesn’t just serve good coffee. It serves exceptional coffee. A conversation with the Barista explains all; “run the water for 24 seconds” and “grind the beans according to size – it varies with every bag” are just two reasons this is a café not to be missed. The toasted sandwich of cheese, tomato and prosciutto was also rather good and a million times better than average it’s only been opened three weeks and already seems to be pulling in the local cognoscenti . It’s hardly surprising. Highly recommended.

Found this friendly cafe on a ride from Denham to Primrose Hill along the Grand Union Canal. It was the only cafe we came across on the whole of the first 26 miles. And what a fantastic place it was too. Will definitely go again when cycling the path in the future. Delicious and abundant cakes and lovely coffee too. The lunch menu looked great too but we had to pass on that. Maybe next time.

Lovely find! The cafe is relaxed, staff friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Ordered a Hummus Falafel Avocado wrap which was fresh, the falafel soft and not dry and the wrap warm. Really delicious. Thank you.

Meal before the show was an easy option. Menu didn’t hit a cord but limited time so we stayed. Choose a couple of ‘tapas’ plates - Jamon Serrano which was actually packet Parma ham and 3 grilled prawns plus some some bread. All disappointing. Our drinks were given foc as they arrived after we finished eating . Plenty of staff but felt inexperienced and slow.

My first visit at Señor Ceviche and probably not my last. Amazing food and drinks. My friends and I ordered the tasting menu which offered a bit of everything and for £34 I thought it was great value for money. Everything tasted delicious. Their chilli Pisco Sour cocktail was also very good. Overall a great night out. Will definitely come back.
