rodizio experience is a must try

Came here with my girlfriend for a birthday meal. We both got the rodizio which is an all you can eat selection of meat freshly served/carved by the staff at the table. Included an unlimited salad/side bar. The atmosphere was nice, quiet and intimate. The food was great apart from the chicken which was quite dry. One of the menu items was unavailable that day (forgot which). The pork belly was the best. Towards the end of our meal there was a blonde hair on my girlfriend’s food and neither of us are blonde. We informed the waitress who gave her a new plate and fresh meat. We were given a discount of 25%. We were also offered a free desert which we declined because by the end of the meal we were in a hurry to leave as we both had the urge to diarrhoea. We didn’t eat the same food that day until we came here. The side/salad bar had a couple of small flies hovering around.

An unforgettable dining experience at this Brazilian restaurant! Indulged in 13 succulent meat varieties, including the exquisite Wagyu beef, perfectly complemented by an amazing Argentinian red wine. A must-visit for any meat lover!

I have personally dined with the Fazendas chain on several occasions, having attended the London restaurant 4 times since opening last year. I have praised to friends, family and clients about the top notch food, ambience and service. We had a birthday celebration and we came along and dined as a group of 5. On this occasion the service was terrible. One of our guests is a vegetarian (they have dined with Fazendas previously and have had good experiences - enjoying all of the vegetarian food options from the menu and salad cart) however the servers on this occasion served the meats over the vegetarian plate to our other guests, which was not considerate, nearly dripping juices/blood onto the plate. This did at one point drip into one of our wine glasses and we were served another glass, this was not the same wine which we purchased from the bottle. Service slowed right down after around 30minutes, to the point we had to request on several occasions for more food, even when the servers were at the table next to ours and just walking straight past our table, our place cards were turned the correct way around too?! It’s an absolute shame, we left slightly embarrassed as we had previously raved about how amazing this place was to our friends, who did not have the greatest experience - considering we pay a premium and get stumped with a huge service charge…. Honestly it’s a massive shame, there is no consistency with the service. The servers we just rude, however the front of house team were great. I will not be returning to this branch.

We hosted my birthday party here. A special call out to Katherine and Jenni from the events management team for their assistance and organising the pre-ordering of food and drinks. The space was wonderful and fit around 50 people comfortably. The staff were attentive serving drinks and bringing out food to our guests. We recommend if you are considering running an event here.

We have choose Fazenda for our anniversary ,we been here at lunch time because we went with toddler and I didn't like eat in a busy restaurants. Food excellent we have choose rodizio, also we have order Caipirinha drinks and my wife pineapple sparkling both coming with a lot ice and less drinks, the restaurant was very quiet at all the time we stay, the services was very poor for the high livel of the restaurant. Our first time here, no one have explaine us how's working the menu and also after order we waiting 40 minutes for starters and after we complain with manager in charge they running at all time with our rodizio without give a breath was not funny. At the end of our lunch we asking for the bill and no one have asking how's everything, this is very disappointing for customers . Just for clarification we have paid also services charge because we understand how hard is the hospitality . We hope to back and find another services. Kind Regard Andrea

Early dinner here as it was the only time we could get a reservation, it was absolutely dead when we got there and were very well looked after thanks to that! The meats kept coming thick and fast and another delicious meal at Fazenda. Price has gone up recently but still fair value for the area and setting.

Place to avoid at all costs. Very unprofessional staff especially the floor manager Sergio who was very condescending, patronising and insulting. Not worth the money at all!! Place to avoid!!

This is such a great spot, the vibe is very chilled and classy and the service is second to none. The manager Michela was so attentive and made our experience great! We will return again :)

Fazenda Restaurant offers a stunning ambiance and impressive design, setting the stage for an upscale dining experience. However, while the small portions were exceptionally well-prepared, the main letdown was the inconsistency in meat quality. Despite the premium price tag (around £150 for a couple), the meats occasionally arrived cold and had a gummy texture. The buffet options were commendable, but the service fell short of expectations. In conclusion, while Fazenda has its highlights, the inconsistency in meat quality and service detracted from the overall experience.

The food was really good quality, cooked to perfection and the service of the food was great- i’ve been to other bottomless restaurants where you’re only offered the food in sparse intervals but this was not the case here. The staff were friendly however, when we were offered sides and sauces, it wasn’t made clear that these would come at an extra cost.

Staff were awesome and the atmosphere was wonderfully laid back. I ate so much meat my plate looked like the damned catacombs. Belly pork was transcendent, probably would've left my body if Rihanna hadn't come round with a bit of sirloin to tempt me back down. Cocktails were brilliant too, I can officially say I've had a Religious Leader without fear for my immortal soul.

Food and ambiance was amazing. Food was really filling, loved the fact that you got to taste 10 different meats (the lamb was particularly good). The restaurant also catered amazingly to our friend with allergies. But the best part of our visit was Andrea - she was lovely, knowledgeable about all the dishes, didn’t rush us and gave us some great wine recommendations. Such a lovely bubbly personality and hospitality. She even carved some of the meat for us when it got a bit late. Really great experience and worth getting the Rodizio experience.

The staff were phenomenal. Kind, polite funny wonderful people. The food was amazing. Can't wait to come again. The kids even got certificates for their first "fazenda" experience. They can't wait to come again.

I visited this restaurant in January 2024 as part of a large group (10+) for a birthday dinner. My experience as a customer started the day before the dinner. The person who did the reservation was informed by the restaurant that they would not be able to provide a birthday cake. For this reason we purchase one and took it to the restaurant. The staff from the entrance reception to the 2nd floor restaurant reception were helpful and special thanks goes to Jenny for liaising with the Chef for having the cake stored in the restaurant fridge. My suggestion is if you have a special occasion to contact ahead the restaurant with any special requests and have them with the chef if necessary for a smooth experience. In respect of the dinner itself: The atmosphere of the restaurant is really warm and cosy. The lightning is right for the experience without being too bright or too dark. The setup of tables as such that you can have discussion without feeling noisy making it a nice place for both business meetings and gatherings. The service of the restaurant was very good and of a standard that is hard to find post pandemic. The staff took the time to explain how the rodicio system works and what was recommended to eat if we chose the " Rodizio Experience" from the menu (which is a all-you-can-eat service). The drinks arrived quickly and the caipirinha was one of the best I have tasted with the right balance of ingredients. The full table went for the Rodizio Experience which apart from the meats gives access to a plentiful buffet. The quality of the meats was exquisite and the prices paid are justified. Customers have also the ability to specify the level of cooking that they wish the near to be prepared (typically medium / medium rare). One thing that impressed me is that unlike other Rodizio restaurants the meat dud not revolve from table to table but rather came to our table in the sequence as presented in the card given in the beginning hinting that the chef was executing a specific routine in the kitchen rather than preparing meat and sending it out. This made a massive difference in the overall experience and means that the customer gets the cooking they need to specification and the meat always lands on the plate warm to eat. Please note that when visited the restaurant due to a delivery issue chicken hearts were not available however I understand from staff that they are considered a specialty and you should try them. The staff were very courteous and brought the cake we had given them the day before along with plates and spoons. Due to an accident part of the cake landed on the floor and the staff were really friendly and helpful in trying to make the most of the situation. The bill paying process was swift and the certain bill items were explained when clarification was asked with no issues. As of January 2024 I consider this to be the best Rodizio restaurant in Central London. For Vegans/ Vegetarians: due to the Rodizio focus of the restaurant this may not be one of top choices for vegans and vegetarians. In the event you wish to tag along my suggestion is to not be detered by the Rodizio focus as the buffet menu and some of the sides are more than compensate and can still make you full.

Incredible restaurant if you like meat. I have been to the rodizio at the O2 and a few others around Europe but this is incredible, the best by far. Often in these places the meat is very salty, not here. All the meats were so good, the service was spot on and the 'market table' where they have all salads/sides etc was such high quality too. £50pp looks expensive but once you've been it's actually pretty good value. Only negative would be chicken hearts were unavailable when my group went so we never got to have those as part of the rodizio but apart from that it was superb. If you love a variety of meat this restaurant is a must visit.

We have been to most Fazendas in the UK and this was by far the best! The meat was exceptional quality! The restaurant itself is beautiful! Service was absolutely exceptional, again the best we have received at any other Fazenda in the UK, from front of house to Shaun seeing that everything was perfect for us. A special shout out for Robson our Brazilian friend.. Robson is the best server we have came across throughout all Fazendas in the UK! He knew exactly which meat was to our taste, he recommended exceptionally good meats to try but most of all he was an all round great energy! Gente boa! He even showed us around the restaurant and took photos for us on our wedding anniversary! Above and beyond and made our day very memorable! Valeu Robson! Thank you Shaun, Sophie and rest of the team! We will be back!

High end Brasilian Rodizio with top quality ingredients.

Aaliyah was great. She was a member of staff that made our party of over 20 people really comfortable. There delays in the service of the food which I honestly didn't like. We booked dinner for 8 and only got to start eating from 9.15pm. Which was not good. I personally didn't feel we got the full experience of the type of cuisine. Most of the meat was dry and I wish it had more flavour. It was a graduation dinner and I personally didn't particularly enjoy most of the meats so did alot of people in our party. To be honest for an expensive restaurant their time keeping was not any good. What was actually quite weird was the regular announcements by another hostess that the food was "coming " building expectations and it coming out late, from the starters to the mains. I couldn't be bothered to stay for dessert, I had enough and to be honest I am not trying to slag off a business but they could do better when catering to large groups. Thanks Aaliyah got being a great hostess.

Food, Whisky selection and the server specific to our table was great. We did feel we were being avoided by the servers delivering meat to the table, after the first 20 mins they did all seem to be avoiding us. This is in contrast to the Fazenda in Edinburgh which I could not recommend enough.

A higher brow experience of the standard rodizio's which are around, with a selection of 12 meats available on the 'Rodizio Experience', though you can also go with a standard menu option too. Good selection of vegetables and cheese at the counter which is available as part of the experience, though on the down side sauces need to be brought separately and aren't included. Is on the pricier side but probably fair based on the service, quality and venue.

We had the rodizio experience and the meat was mostly ok. Some pieces had a lot of grizzle/cartilage but overall it was very tasty and the lamb was particularly excellent! The restaurant was also decorated beautifully and the vibe was great and overall we had a good time. However my biggest gripe about this restaurant was the service. I understand it’s a tactic to pile the meat on at the start and then taper off. However we had our tokens point the way to say keep bringing meat and they were continuously ignored. We even requested some more meat and they said they would bring it but it never arrived which was disappointing. We visited the Edinburgh branch previously and did not notice this huge reduction in service after the first 20 minutes. Overall I was disappointed with the service at the London branch and wouldn’t return unfortunately.

We had the meat experience on 30th December and our server Amy was amazing. The meats were top notch and fantastic and comes with rice and chips and the buffet table was exceptional and could go up as many times as wanted. Amazing establishment and the food is second to none. Our waitress (Lulu) was amazing - she really made our evening, her personal touches and bubbly personality certainly added a great deal to our experience. The meats (all) were great and so was the cheese (market bar) was amazing.

If you have been to other branches you will be dissapointed by this one. The selection is a lot smaller and the market table is very basic. All hot sides are charged extra (even chips & bread which makes no sense as surely you want people to fill up on the cheap stuff and eat less meats to make more profit?), you dont get the welcome Pão de queijo and the sauces are extra too (even chimichurri is an extra £2.80). They try to serve too many people from the same skewer before putting it back on the rodizio meaning if you are towards the end you are basically getting raw meat from the middle. Also the night we were there the majority of meats were being served ready sliced with tongs from square plates rather than being carved at the table (from memory only the chicken thighs, picanha and lamb came round on skewers). Attention to detail was lacking too, the beef sausages were uncooked and cold in the middle and also after the person who was dining with me notified them of an allergy, they got served something containing that ingredient anyway, luckily our waitress spotted this before anything was eaten (the waitress had notified the kitchen but seems it wasnt communicated further). The place is done out really nicely inside but the main problem is that the restaurant is not fully seperate from the bar, there is about 1 foot between the restaurant floor and the windows meaning you can hear all the noise from down below. On our visit this involved a very rowdy work party which nothing was done about and spoiled the whole atmosphere. I'll continue to go to the other branches, Edinburgh being my favourite, but wont bother with the london one again as it has been too heavily value engineered. The friendly service from our waitress and good wine selection is the only thing pulling this 1/2 star experience to 3 star.

📝 Nice (Brazilian/Argentinean) meat restaurant in the center of London. Very cool and modern place, slightly high end but not extremely expensive. I can recommend it and could go back myself. 🍴 We opted for the Rodizio experience, where they continuously served various meat cuts throughout the meal until we decided it was enough - like in the typical churrascaria. All the meat was delicious. Sides could be in my opinion improved quite a bit. Moreover, I had chimichurri and it was nothing what I had in Argentina, didn't have much taste. 📍 Super location and nicely furnished, I liked the dim lighting during our dinner.

Really good food. LOTS of meat. And it will keep coming if you so desire. They cut slivers of each meat at your table and give you tweezers to pull it from the rack to your plate. The ‘salad bar’ is inexhaustible. But is no harvester fayre. It’s all very high end charcuterie, pickles and sophisticated salads: char grilled broccoli and almond: asparagus and endive: it’s an antipasti lovers dream: you get the idea. The other dish on the menu is a Portuguese Bachalau. Which imho is best avoided. Although I didn’t try theirs. Overall: great meat. Cool vibe. Great salad bar. Fantastic bar and table staff. Rather expensive.

Endless meat on skewers! Amazing tender cuts cooked to perfection. This is a restaurant for meat lovers everywhere. Conveniently located by Liverpool St Station. Endless cold buffet for sides. Drinks are a touch expensive even for the City, but is well worth a visit. Very attentive staff.

Amazing restaurant! Great service thank you Nathanael, Robinson and all Brazilians doing the Rodizio. The Feijoada and hot dishes are not very traditional and slightly tasteless but the meat was very good so overall this is top class. I can’t wait to return here for another experience soon. The cocktails (caipirinha) however needs improvement as it’s very small and has lots of ice in it so I didn’t order a second one and I went for the wine instead.

Today I came to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend and was lucky enough to be served by Amy! She was absolutely amazing, fun to talk to, super helpful and so quick with everything. Fazenda has a gem working for them! The mains were also great, I had a fillet steak and my partner had the ribs, they were both great plates, the only thing I would pick on was the wagyu empanadas, as an empanada fan I must say theres something missing in those empanadas, if I may suggest, perhaps add small chopped potatoes and make them juicier like in my home town! I bet it will be a hit! Regardless of that, the whole experience was great and I thank you for it!

Lovely restaurant! Worth every penny went on a Saturday evening and got the Rodizio experience. Truly a lovely experience especially if you’re celebrating your anniversary as I was , they gave us complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary and kept attending to us with smiles and a friendly atmosphere. We spoke to Amy and Robson they were lovely and the rest of the staff. The meat was truly delicious and very filling would definitely recommend and will be going back again!

A posh version of the rodizios of old (red/ green coaster) these had gold weights that held the steak knife - which was a nice touch. Lovely restaurant, cosy, fab lighting. We had a late booking for 9pm on a Saturday and the atmosphere was really nice. Meat..... amazing, although we didn't get to try the chicken - never came round. Would go again. Make sure you go on a empty stomach.

Excellent evening tonight enjoying the £60pp Festive Rodizio menu. Service was great, our table server and the servers bringing the meat were really friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely atmosphere and the Market Table was stacked with quality ingredients. We were celebrating our anniversary and noted the restaurant really trying to go out of their way to give us a few extras! The service is very bad …..we ordered the all you can eat menu and we barely had some meat every 10-15 mins We got so angry we barely ate …. You don’t get what you pay for..

Brazilian steakhouse. I love this place, I used to visit Manchester just to have some delicious steak now they have opened a branch in London! Variety of meat served all cooked to your liking. The meat is high quality, the staff are very welcoming, atmosphere is nice and cosy. There is a selection of cheese at the salad bar and lots of sides to choose from (sides are charged). Service is fantastic, great service from Joshua, Tania and Khalid!

Food was good but service was not really good.

Really good experience, no questions for the meat, perfectly cooked and combination with sauces was amazing. The only point is the arroz carreteiro that is far away to be carreteiro. My wife grew up in south of Brazil and this is not even close to the real one. Apart from that, nos questions, really good services, amazing atmosphere and nice music. Special thank you to Robison, that kindly explained all cuts with perfection. For sure I’ll be back.

Decent food but a bit over rated. The concept is a nice idea but in practice some of the meats they bring around on the BBQ menu are better than others. They start with a very nice sirloin but then there is lamb and chicken and so on. They’re not as good and seem like fillers. At this price is you want a plate full of sirloin steak you should be able to have this but that’s not possible. If you want lots of nice steak there are better options.

Perfect Brazilian food experience. We have the Rodizio which is around £50 per person unlimited meat grilled. The meat is super soft, tender and juicy, went very well with red wine. Amy is very approachable and attentive, and other staffs are friendly and smiley as well. Will come back!

It’s a Brazilian churrascoria. So there’s a ton of meat. There is a nice salad bar with wonderful cheeses. Even when you have your disc flipped to no, they keep coming at you. They push food at you at the beginning and really don’t let you pace the way you want to eat. The desserts are worth saving space for. They are very unique desserts that are served in very creative ways. Fun place to go with a group of friends!

As I am from South Brazil, my expectations were very high. However, I didn't have any disappointment. We decided to go for the Rodizio experience and it was the best choice. The meat was excellent, very difficult to choose which was the best one. At the same time you can get salada, cheese, etc. from the buffet, which were delicious and fresh. The service at the table was excellent, not only for our main waitress but all staff who offered the rodizio experience at our table. Very attentive with us and with our kids. It is a fair price for adults, but it is an excellent price for kids + they got ice cream. Now I have to deal with the kids begging me to go back 🙃.

Fantastic restaurant if you like meat. 12 varieties and a wonderful market table. We went for a birthday, party of 10 and the whole experience was brilliant. The wonderful waitress explained the menu to our kids and served us really well.

I’m a pescatarian so ate the trout from the main menu which was absolutely delicious and well presented. The sides were amazing too. Will definitely be making a return trip as the whole experience (including vibe) was outstanding.

The food was delicious, the truffle pork and alcatra rump were my highlights. However the service here was even better! Top tier compliments to both Amy and Josh for their welcoming and friendly attitude. Would come again just for them!

A sublime experience from beginning to end. So much more than it's meat, but the headline act is top class! Select the Market Table option and as much of 12 cuts as you like is yours to savour. Add in a fantastic mix of flavours from a salad bar on par with Ottolenghi and you'll want to be hungry! Then there's wine...a vast roaming selection of South American selections and those a little closer to home. Fazenda provides all this with a level of service I thought lost to much of London's steak scene. In a restaurant that sets new standards for decor and ambience. Book once, visit again, and again...but do turn up hungry!!

This place was absolutely insane from the moment we walked in. We were a large party, so we got the private dining room, and it made the experience even better. We were expertly looked after by everyone who attended to us, and I would go again for the Rodizio experience in a heartbeat

Our lovely waitress, Lulu, was amazing to us from the very beginning, very friendly and welcoming and always attentive for what we needed. we came to celebrate our anniversary and she helped make it feel extra special! I can honestly say everything from the atmosphere and service to the food and prices were just amazing! The value for what you pay and receive is great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

My review would have been two stars... However, I sent an email regarding my complaints to Fazenda, and filled in their feedback form. It's been over a week, and they have completely ignored me, so my review has dropped to one star. I will paste my email below, so you can read my criticisms for yourself. __________________ Hi there, My name is Tom Bloomfield, and I've just visited your Bishopsgate location (19.30 booking for 2 people on 03/11/2023) - sadly, I'm emailing to complain about the experience me and my fiancée have just had. We've spent a very large amount of money (nearly £200) and we've left feeling really let down and to be honest, quite ripped off. We sat down and ordered two Rodizio experiences as the main part of our meal. The waitress informed us that the meat is usually served rare. We explained that we would prefer our meat to be served more cooked than that, nearer to medium. She said that wouldn't be a problem. However over the next 90 minutes, we were only served non-rare meat on about three occasions. We were taking rare meat as we were hungry and didn't want to go without, but kept explaining that we were after medium meat. We kept being told that it would be sorted, but it never was. After 40 minutes, we stopped being served regularly altogether. I understand that people may get full, but we had our medallions turned to indicate we were after more food, and we were just ignored. The experience indicates that 12 different types of meat would be served. But the more 'expensive' meats, eg: Sirloin and truffled pork, were served to us on just one occasion. The cheaper meats, like sausages and chicken hearts, were served to us multiple times. This gave the impression that in order to save money, we weren't going to be given the 'better quality' meats. Again, that just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. On three separate occasions, we were asked if there was anything specific that could be brought to the table for us. Each time we said that we were after medium meat, and in particular the sirloin. On every occasion, nothing ended up coming to us. We eventually had a different waiter (one that asked us the question above) start to clear our table. He asked us how the sirloin was. We explained that we never recieved it. While that was happening, we were getting dishes delivered to the table that we did not order, which we had to send back. Our original waitress took our desert orders and payment. At no point did she ask us how our meal was - If she did, I would've explained again about these issues, even though we did throughout our meal. No apology was ever offered by anyone, and nothing was ever offered to resolve the situation. I'm not one to write long emails for the sake of it, but me and my fiancée rarely have the chance to eat out. We decided to go to Fazenda based on the strength of the menu. But we've spent so much money and are just really disappointed by the whole evening. We felt that our grievances were not being understood while we were having our meal, which is why I am emailing now. The food was lovely and the restaurant service was good. The bar service was terrible I had to nearly beg for a drink. Although the food was good not sure its worth the price tag.
