Horrible horrible Horrible experience!! They denied us a fully paid for booking and after an 8 hour flight when we land the hotel they tell us we don’t have our room as the pre existing guest had extended !! Are these guys brain dead ?? They had the nerve to ask us for a solution !!! Some check in staff were very helpful but the manager thought she was too smart and had absolutely no answer to a question i raised and then says she would be back in 5 minutes and never returns… bloody coward . I wouldn’t stay there even if i was paid to. Also apparently they do this to most guests as the day we were checking in there were probably 8 other families with a similar problem. However their sister hotel the Londoner is way way classier and the rooms and staff are absolutely amazing. These guys at Mayfair are trashy ,disrespectful and disgusting. Will make sure we never recommend them to anyone as they lack etiquette. Stay at your own risk ! Dont go by what you see please ! There are many other hotels with a similar location.

Had a great experience at The May Fair hotel. Our flight had a delay and we only arrived at the hotel at 2am. We headed out bright and early to buy last minute gifts for our family and were struggling to pack finish in time for check out. We spoke with one of the hotel receptionist, Oksana, who kindly let us have a later check out so that we could pack finish in time. The hotel’s bellboys were also very nice to help us load our luggage onto the Uber. Overall had a wonderful and lovely experience in this hotel. Would definitely love to stay here again!

The room was big and spacious, with a lovely bathroom. However the decor was outdated and tired. Windows could not be opened which wouldn’t have been an issue if it wasn’t so stuffy and poorly ventilated. The service from staff was wonderful and we were helped out by the concierge team to find some lovely places to eat.

At the beginning they move us many times until we get the suitable room . There are instructions around the hotel so we couldn’t get a good view.The location was perfect , some rooms need to renew especially carpet, cleaning was not bad but they are so stingy in bathroom fittings ( soap, laundry bag ……..) actually I stayed there about 9 nights barely put some water. Otherwise everything was excellent

We are currently staying here. For a room, midweek, for just under 600 GBP a night (including taxes) it is probably the most overpriced hotel I have come across. The room had a bad aroma when we arrived. The room looks nothing like those on their website. The furniture and fittings are poor. There was no turn-down service. We stayed here around 8 years ago and the quality was excellent. It seems to have gone downhill quickly.

1. Solid concierge chaps and very helpful 2. Beautiful breakfast, tasty, and lovely ambiance. 3. Met Mr. & Mrs. Shah from Dubai at breakfast - wonderful couple. We shared samosa and spicy kebab together. 4. Gym was a great experience and well equipped. 5. Love the corridors with awesome decor! 6. The room - perfect though the coffee machine challenged me! Showers were lovely. Ironing board made life convenient. Spacious and very comfy. Overall, The Mayfair scores full points.

The May Fair is in a perfect location. Very close to all amenities and sights with an underground stop right around the corner. The staff in the hotel were really friendly and attentive. The breakfast is also amazing - so much variety! Thanks to everyone for a great stay!

We booked this hotel because it was what was offered via EZair Princess booking. The hotel transfer we has from Heathrow to the hotel was excellent. The check-in was quick enough, but we were given room 110 which is directly beside and in front of the cleaning crew staff headquarters. They were a tad LOUD the first night we were there. The 2nd day, 2 staff members went in our room without even knocking on the door. No excuse really other than they mistook our room for their cleaning headquarters. However, this hotel is centrally located and it was so easy to walk to Hyde Park, then on to Buckingham Palace and then on to St.James Park. All 3 place were amazing especially the palace of course. Thanks to the very helpful hotel concierge. Also the breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of choices. The wait staff were very attentive and hospitable. All on all a 4 out of 5 rating.

Excellent hotel in the middle of downtown. The rooms are nice and have everything you need. Housekeeping works fine and so does room service. The only thing with regards to the service would be that there is no people available to open the doors to leave the hotel to the street. And sometimes you see the people that is supposed to help you and they are chatting with another coworker and don’t care that you are going out with bags, or in my case, with an electric handicaped scooter which needs the doors to be opened by someone. Wireless comes and goes and it is not high speed.

Mayfair hotel is one of the best hotels in london. The team is super professional and super kind. Customer service is another level. Rooms are very clean and elegant plus practical,. Service is poor. Carpet is smelly and room are spacious and towels are also need the replacement. Car park is also a little concern. Overall was pleasant stay and access is 247. Near to Heathrow and 20 minutes to central London

This truly is a unique dining experience. The food is a combination of Japanese and Italian. Everything is beautifully presented and full of subtle flavour combinations. The staff are really knowledgeable and the accompanying wine or saki well chosen. Great job. Thanks Just returned for dinner, and had another super experience. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently and definitely the best I have ever stayed in Europe. Provides great value while still retaining luxury. Location is literally unbeatable (minutes walk to Green Park) and the breakfast is top notch. Loved our room and we will 100% be returning next time we are in the city.

Be careful when you book their rooms is different even the one that have the same category. ive booked two rooms one queen and one king ( 22 sqm for 1 adult + 30 sqm for two adults ) The king room is cost more money. When i checked in. the queen room was ready and king room was not. And the reception girl wasn't clear, didn't explain alot. So my travel friend went to her ready " queen room" ( as it said ) because she was solo. Later on me and my mother checked to our "king room" ( i relised that it was smaller than 30 sqm but i thought it was the furniter or how the room look. The last day me and my travel friend discovered that the room that she has been given is our room ( king - queen superior as it said in the website). So i was very very upset because i been staying the whole days in a smaller room which i paid for the other! Non refundable. Am very upset. When i complain they said that the room that am in it its actually king room and 30 sqm and i belived them but in the website it shown its 22 sqm. They dont want to say that this is the receptionist mistake. I choosed this hotel because of a specific room. The reception manager gave me a compensation but i feel am still upset because i dont go to london alot, i deserve a refund. Please be careful soooooo tricky :)
