Costa Coffee in City of London, Westminster

i took an americano and i have to say that it was only dirty water and calling it a coffee is an insult

I got an Americano latte to take away. It was really disgusting, it didn't taste like anything, you could just taste water and an aftertaste of coffee. really disgusting.

Convenient coffee space, due to its location and seating available. Unfortunately, my toastie came with the burnt residue from the previous heating. Bad food handling. I even tried to get rid of it, but it was so much I ended up tearing the toastie apart.

Today I went to Costa to redeem my birthday treat and some coffee. I been served by a lovely lady with short hair. She served me in seconds , very hygienic and professional service! She also wished me a happy birthday. I dont know her name but she is a star

Previously the coffee tasted horrible and not made to order. I gave this cafe another chance and I’m glad the standards are up. Thanks to Rita for the great coffee, I’ll be back

Just arrived for a coffee and something to eat during the morning with a several pain on my shoulder after my hospital appointment and the lady that was refilling all the staff on the back was very friendly and she brought me the tosté to the till, she made my day! Thank you!

Not sure how this place can be allowed to operate with tables being just absolutely FILTHY. I could understand if they just weren't wiped down between customers as it's busy etc but this is long standing built up dirt and grime. Wasn't just my table but all of them.

Just been there with my costa coffee bought in Reading. Lady behind a counter refused to let me use toilet even I have a serious medical condition and doc confirming that. I will never ever use Costa anymore.

I should have taken the flies crawling on the pastries as a bad omen. Had a ham and cheese toastie from here and a coffee and now I have food poisoning

They do not serve the cakes on a plate, they serve quickly as they serve the customer and many times there is no place to sit. Not what you expect from an afternoon tea in London.

Drinks are good standard Costa. But the staff are awful, the girl who served me was weirdly argumentative when I asked if they could please make bubble tea. Clearly didn’t want to be there and just rude. Really strange

Hidden above the concourse/ entrance - opposite plat 3- take 2 escalators up. Friendly service, fast.

The new summer Tropical Mango Bubble Frappe is a refreshing blend of bubble tea and milk shake. The staff were friendly and professional.

A good place to stop for a coffee at Paddington Station. Away from the crowds on the concourse, you have to go up two levels to get there. Good service, and plenty of seating, although at the time we were there the view over the station concourse was partly obscured and one of the up escalators was out of action due to maintenance.

Lovely coffee, thank you. I was served by Rita who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and polite. Brightened my day!

Very unfriendly. Gave me the wrong code for the custumer toillets after I payed for my food and drinks.

Went in to see if they’d do the hot milkshake. Dude at the counter looked at me as if I were stupid, never offered a smile, treated me like I was wasting his time, didn’t even look at me when he out the drink down just walked away. (18:18 on 13/02/24) The lady working at the same time was nicer. Sincerely wish she’d been the one to serve me.

In need of customer service training. Staff were having a heated discussion where they were swearing at one another infront of customers, whilst ignoring the growing line waiting for service. Only gave me half a cup of coffee in the end and ignored me when I complained.

Stopped for a coffee just before closing time this evening, asked the server was I too late? No she said with a smile and served me a coffee. Thank you Ni for just being nice.

It's my first Costa coffee in London. the staffs are so kind and brew coffee very delicious. I highly recommend here. the staff makes me to give nice images of Costa.

Nice coffee served by friendly staff a lovely place to enjoy a brew whilst waiting for my train.

Had to wait a while whilst all the station staff got free coffees first. Then couldn’t find anywhere to sit as their tables are set out in 4’s whilst most people are sitting alone. Sort it out!

The service is great, one of the employees speaks French which is a plus. The service is fast. Prices are correct for being in a station. I congratulate the employee who politely asked the people who came with their beers and alcohol to leave the premises! In the negative points, nothing to report.

Everytime I travel through London, I always make sure I stop off here! The staff are so friendly and I normally only ever get a caramel latte but was recommended the new toffee latte and it’s so delicious and pretty (seemed such a shame to put a lid on it!)

This is a nice location at Paddington station. Order at the counter and the employees here are great. So nice, funny, and helpful. I enjoyed watching them interact with each other. I love Costa coffee so when I see a location I stop. Fresh hot latte and a croissant … life doesn’t get better than this.

Asked for napkins and the manager (who was just chilling) told me to ask his colleague. All colleagues were occupied I looked at him, said pardon? he said ask my colleague. Rude ignorant staff, rethink your career if you can’t put the customer first.

The two gentleman working today were great, they were friendly, helpful and polite. They were smiling and happy to provide recommendations. Lovely drink too! Try the hot chocolate with coconut milk.

It’s a bit hard to find this place. You have to follow the instructions and take the stairs or lift to get there. Shop is nice and clean. A quiet place in the busiest station if that’s what you are looking for.

Awwwful service. The guy at the till (serving someone else) knocked a plastic lid which fell on the floor right in front of me and made a really loud crashing sound, and he didn’t even say anything or think to apologise. Then the girl who served me barely even said anything as I bought my drink; she was more interested in chatting to the other guy working there. This is unbelievably basic stuff and just not good enough.

If you use To Good To Go app beware! If you want to collect the food you paid for beware as you may not get it! They just plainly refuse to do anything explaining it is the "system error"... No refund, no appology. Chaos and mismanagement... I do not recomend it.

Great place to nurse a coffee and recover after a journey. Upstairs at Paddington so out of the way of the hurrying crowds below. Good snacks and coffee. Friendly staff. Had a lovely vegan sausage bun and soy latte while watching the crowds below.

Got upsold to buy a croissant which when I opened the bag was so dry and crispy it was inedible

Not a bad spot to get out of the way for a bit while waiting for a train. Our barista was clearly way over qualified for the job!

This is one of the best Costa’s I have ever been, the staff go above and beyond with energy and brighten up the day their work ethic is considered class and all the staff provide an amazing service with a large selection of adjustments for drinks, before you even go there they remember what you are about to order.

Chose to have our coffee here while waiting for our next train. The coffee supplemented by a pastry was excellent and hit the spot.

New stuff wasn’t bothered to warm my panini properly , it was half cold and cheese didn’t melt. Waste of £4.50!

That’s so handy to grab a coffee when you’re running for train or underground. Always love Costa for their nice coffee. Staff is ok and stuff is pocket friendly. Love this coffee corner. Location is cool just out of Underground barriers.

Twice this week alone my order has been missed leading to missing trains while a drink is prepared. This is a new occurance since a staff change. Quite frankly not going to be visiting this Costa again.

Good coffee as you'd expect at Costa. Also, great location that is just next to the Paddington Underground station entrance/ exit barriers for Hammersmith and City Line. However if you decide to take a break and sit down for the cuppa instead of picking up and taking away your coffee, then the place has very limited seating space.

Typical Costa experience, and they are surprisingly fast even with the crowd from the station.

I prefer the Colombian blend, but they didn't have it. Apart from that, all good.

It was peaceful, no harrassment, discomfort, limited spaces to sit and consume, good quality tea and coffee and snacks. Right outside the tube station for pre journey fuel.

Awful coffee, I mean this is for people who prefer instant freeze dried level of flavour right?

Friendly staff, this is a stop and go sort of coffee shop sited between the train station and the Hammersmith and City underground station. It s provided with little seating and seems to use just take away cups.

Very good for a quick bite between two trains. Warm bread was delicious. Owner very helpfull. I recommand.
