Obsessed with this spot. Absolutely fabulous food & dining experience. Loved dinner so much we came back two more times for an ube latte and ube pastries from their bakery which are also fabulous. 10/10 recommend if you love Filipino food or have never tried it before.

The reason I put 4 stars is because we only had dessert. The waitress were nice and the service is quick. The atmosphere is ok but not wow. I had the best halo halo by far (compared to all Filipino restaurants ive been). I might change my rating once I try the mains.

Went here on a sunny and pleasant Sunday. Started with the Ube Latte (superb) then meat bbq platter + rice and finished off with my favorite ube sundae ice cream (i was in heaven). If not for my diet-conscious daughter I would have ordered more. Before we left, we ordered some pastries for take-away in the bakery (chosed the ones with ube ofcourse). The croissant with ube is a must try. Would visit here with the whole fam next time. It is walking distance from Oxford Circus tube station.

Attracted by the exotic decoration, the purple drink and bread. Found out they are made by Ube yam. The yam coffee is nice but a bit cold, can be warmer. The coffee size can be a little bit bigger as after I had the yam bread, realised I have no coffee left but would like to have coffee to wash out the sweat of yam bread 🙂 worth to try.

After my recent trip to the Philippines, I decided to satisfy my craving for Ube as I never had the chance to. I entered the restaurant and majority of the customers are non Filipinos. Kleng, the manager/chef, gave me a warm Filipino welcome and took me to my table, I started to speak in Filipino as we started a light banter. When she served my food she took the initiative to give me a spoon. The tiny detail that a filipino in the UK would appreciate. I suddenly felt more at home. Good ambiance, great food and value for money. Kasa and Kin never fails. The Ube brownie with ube ice cream is a dream come true for ube lovers! Thanks team!

On the 18th of August, my family and I had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant from start to finish. The delicious food to the delightful bakery items, and charming ambiance made for a memorable visit. We enjoyed the bakery and restaurant concept and indulged in a variety of yummy treats. Our mixed grill and ube muffins was particularly impressive, blending flavors and textures perfectly to cater to our diverse tastes. The staff provided impeccable service and demonstrated genuine care for their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and polite throughout our visit.

It's fair that Filipino food might not be for me. Everything was reasonably well cooked (seafood was all on the chewy side) but all the flavours went from bland to bland with peanuts... everything was sugar overkill, and cried out for some sharpness or heat to break it all up. When I asked for some hor sauce the waitress brought me jam. Desserts were decent, ice cream was great but the brownie was unbelievably dry. My friend loved her halo halo. Service was fine, it was super quiet on a Thursday so it bordered on over attentive... Wouldn't rush back, especially at the prices they charge.

Amazing food and pastries to die for. Me and 7 other friends dined there and had a great time. Food was served in a timely manner, food is delicious. However, I would have loved if their sisig is portioned fairly for the price. The price for their sisig is 10 gbp and I think the portion size is not even fit for a toddler. Ridiculous. Otherwise, the rest were portioned fairly. Staff you have are great and quite attentive. Hope they all get a bonus ! 😁

My friends and I came here a week ago for dessert. We ordered all sorts of pudding, pastry and hot drinks. We ended up staying for a few hours as we also had much to catch up on. As we were leaving, we ordered some more pastries and food for takeaway. At this point, one of the staff asked us if we've paid for our previous orders as the "system is down" apparently. We reassured him that we had. We all found this very strange because it didn't seem like the system was down 5 minutes ago when we ordered our takeaway food. We felt discriminated against because no one else in the restaurant was treated like this. Also, it's pay-as-you-order with the bakery goods so it's impossible to get anything without having to pay for it. I have to say, this incident has really dampened the mood for us, and has created a rather nasty turn to an otherwise happy reunion. I reached out to the restaurant over a week ago asking for an explanation. I'm sure they have cctv and can review everything that has happened. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them, hence this one star review. To be fair, there are other Filipino restaurants in London that can provide better service and would invest time and money to train their staff properly. If you want to avoid any drama and just want to have a great dining experience, stay away from this restaurant.

I recently dined at Kasa and Kin, a Filipino restaurant with promising and delicious dishes but marred by poor service. The food was flavorful, capturing the mouth-watering qualities of Filipino cuisine. However, the experience was significantly dampened by the rude and dismissive attitude of the maître d'. From the moment we arrived, her behavior was far from hospitable. We were met with impatience and condescension, making us feel unwelcome. While the dishes like the BBQ pork, pancit, and sisig were delightful, the lack of hospitality and service overshadowed the meal. Our food also came very late with no updates. Improving the service would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Decent place for Filipino food. The food was flavourful and the meat was super tender. The atmosphere was nice but they were slow on offering more drinks. Overall though, the all you can eat offer they had the other day was worth the money and reasonably priced. Individual service we received from Iain was great super personable and helpful but seemed ran off his feet with tables. The manager didn't seem very helpful either and just stood there a lot with a grumpy look on her face and was not personable at all, which we thought was odd. Terrible experience. As a filipino myself, I was proud to be able to support and experience authentic filipino cuisine. But the service at the front by the host or maître d'hôtel was absolutely awful. Ruined the entire experience. She was incredibly rude and condescending, and did not check in with our table at all. She told one of the guests at our table after we all had made orders already that they were not allowed to order individual dishes and could only order the unlimited option if someone at the table wanted the unlimited special. I have a much bigger appetite than my two smaller lady guests. I came back to find out from my guest since she didn’t even address the table as I was using the washroom. She avoided our table and made it seem like we were trying to share dishes and cheat the restaurant despite the fact we ordered many individual dishes. If the issue was it being at the same table then I can eat at a different one but its utterly ridiculous and rude to not inform us of this rule beforehand (which was not on any of the menus) and tell only one person and then avoid our entire table. She was an awful host and not charismatic. As a filipino, I was disappointed and the experience was ruined. This was not filipino hospitality. Additionally, she failed to serve or address dishes we had to reorder in time. Our whole table waited over 30 minutes for our dishes and tables next to us that came much later were all served beforehand and completed eating. Dreadful experience. The food was great and the other filipino waiters and service staff were friendly. It was just the maître d'hôtel who ruined the experience and also made it uncomfortable for our server and us.

Booked a table for my partners birthday. We’ve been before and we’ve always really enjoyed the food, tasty as ever. In this occasion again, the food was sensational. However, I booked the table with the special occasion being his birthday. I made sure to do that. The biggest disappointment was the fact that no one even wished him a happy birthday - not even the host. Then we had paid and I realised that we didn’t even get a complimentary dessert (as every restaurant does it) and what annoyed me the most is that I actually paid, and went to speak to the host who was the assistant manager and she did say sorry and gave us free ice cream - but why did I have to bring this up in the first place? Why isn’t attention to detail within reservations been checked? Throughout the service we lacked any service. We had to ask for recommendations, had to ask about portion sizes and even had to ask for water several times.

I’m always a bit excited coming across modern and contemporary Filipino restaurants, looking for familiar and childhood flavors in elevated settings. I visited this spot on a whim, a menu full of comfort food thousands of miles from mom’s cooking. My gut reaction is that the food was just fine…not great. The pork belly sisig I wish was a little crispier and served on actual cast-iron plate. Not a bowl. The richness of the pork did not need to be smothered with a spiced mayo (as good as it was). I would have preferred a runny egg and vinegar. Garlic fried rice could have used stronger garlic taste. The pinakbet was hit/miss, not elevated. The pumpkin and bitter melon were undercooked, plus there was at least one inedible stems on one of the veggies. Taste-wise fine with the okra stealing the show. Service itself was quite poor, but maybe because I walked in right before closing. It took way too long for someone to grab my order, this was after looking around trying to grab someone’s attention. I asked for a spin that never arrived. It’s Filipino restaurant; I would’ve expected a spoon to be present on the table. Forget about water refills…the non-Filipino servers had a” I’m over it“ attitude, which is disappointing as Filipino culture is all about hospitality. The restaurant itself was playing music so loudly I could not hear myself think. In a city with a shortage of Filipino spots, I’m not compelled to return and I’m disappointed to say that.

Went at the very beginning of their dinner service and was told that we should have booked; granted it was Saturday. However, we were given a table which was needed back by 7pm, I felt this was reasonable and allowed us adequate time for my party of two to eat. Our waitress was lovely and recommended us the KareKare Beef as it was my first time here. It was wonderful and had lovely flavours. The shrimp paste was very strong though so it needed to be mixed in a lot of the peanut sauce. The restaurant is nice but on the pricier side for a medium amount of food. We didn't bother ordering to share and just got our own plates to make it more filling.

Food portion sizes were small, especially the shrimp paste stirfry mixed vegetables which came with green beans, squash etc, not what we normally have as stirfry vegetables, maybe because those ingredients are cheaper in the UK. The service was really slow. Saying that, all the dishes are very tasty and plating were pretty, so thanks to the chefs.

We came in for happy hour drinks. 5.30-7pm. Tues to Saturday. We didn't book so they placed us at the small table seat. We had a Summer House and Blueberry mojito cocktail. Served quite quick and absolutely delightful. I would highly recommend. Busy and great atmosphere

Visited for lunch on a Sunday. This is a great place with friendly staff, freshly prepared food and a good atmosphere. I really enjoyed the visit today and will be back. The pork belly and mixed grill were really tasty and served with some very delicious condiments. Garlic rice also very good. If you’re considering a visit, highly recommend going for it!

Great food and service today from Kasa and Kin. Authentic Filipino cuisine but elevated. Portions are huge so bring a big appetite. Also, do not miss the sauces.

Actually this turned out to be one of my top two restaurants visiting London. Located on a quaint quiet street on Soho, the place is very well decorated, colorful, spacious and clean! The service was excellent with the waiter (Tyron?). He treated all customers special. The Kare Kare with a glass of red wine was outstanding! The halo halo was one of the best. I hope to return.

Had dine in with my friends for supper. The food taste was okay except the quantity of the serving doesn’t equate the worth. The atmosphere is a bit sad for me.

We had an amazing meal with our friends here - loved kare kare and the pork belly. Even the Ube cheesecake was a good dessert. However, our experience was amazing due to our server Amsu who was so welcoming and gave amazing suggestions.

Came quite late with a big group (more than double the original number reserved). Staff was gracious enough to accommodate us all and even extended to serve us. Thank you Ate Kleng & team! Food is class, as always. We had the unlimited grill menu and it really felt like fiesta back home. On the pricey side, but well worth it! Will definitely keep coming back!!

The experience was great! We went to the area just to eat here and boy we were delighted when we found about the Unlimited (Eat-all-you-can) Dinner option! I was just unhappy because I could not taste everything haha but all that I ordered were delish! Great staff overall but I would like to give a shout out to Ian, one of the best staff I met in my life. Cheers!

Lovely little corner pub in London. Nice service, plenty of character and good range of beers. Exactly the sort of place I look to support.
