A Mayfair restaurant that is actually worth the money. Top quality food (best pitta ever) and drinks set against stunning interiors. The service was particularly fantastic - special thanks to Jamal, Cam and Tiger who took excellent care of us throughout our dinner, which completely elevated the evening. Will definitely be coming back!

Attended a birthday Dinner here and I was left pleasantly surprised. The service was great and made our party feel extremely valued. The potato bread with the truffle honey is to die for. I could’ve eaten that all night.

Had a really lovely birthday dinner for a friend here recently and was amazed at the atmosphere coupled with the deliciousness of the food and the quality of the service. In particular Jamal was amazingly helpful as a bartender crafting lovely drinks and Ty was a good host. The starters and mains were incredible but the desserts felt a little bit lacklustre in comparison. In spite of this a time was had and I look forward to returning again.

Wow. I don’t have enough words to express how incredible my 30th birthday was, all thanks to the amazing team at Jeru. I booked the private room, known as the Garden, which was absolutely beautiful. My main point of contact, Viktoriia, was phenomenal—genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. I had a specific vision in mind, and Cameron and Tiger went above and beyond to bring it to life just hours before my guests arrived. The food was hearty and delicious, and the service was warm, respectful, and consistently attentive. Jamal and Micay ensured everyone at the bar had a fantastic time, while Bernard made sure my younger guests were taken care of early on. Jeru, I’ll be back — many of my guests feel the same way. Worth every penny! 10/10 experience! ✨

Had a lovely experience here for my friends birthday in one of the private rooms - great spread, friendly staff and the DJ booth is a real gem! Special mention to Jamal the bar tender who was super friendly and knowledgable.

I love Jeru, and bring my friends from out of London but tonight something happened, for the first time, that was totally unacceptable. I had a nice meal with a friend and we went to pay. I noticed that there was a 15% service charge on the bill. The waiter made no mention of this (which is typical for london restaurants) but then the machine came and it asked for a tip, with suggestions of 10/15/20% and a "NO TIP" button. Which is absolute BS. They literally trick people into not thinking there is a service charge and then have them double tip. 15% is already very heavy - even for London. Jeru management - pay your staff well and stop tricking your diners into double tipping. I am sad that I won't be coming back to what was one of my favorite restaurants in town :(

Dining at Jeru was a delight - the food was sublime and had us oohing and aahing (and planning our return visits) from the first bite. We enjoyed the balance of the Chef's Selection and found the menu to be thoughtful and innovative, with appropriate restraint so that the flavours enhanced and complemented the centrepiece of each dish. The service was warm and attentive and our waiter carefully explained each dish to us as he served it. Jeru was a perfect choice for us, a gathering of friends where conversation was an important ingredient of the evening, and we all agreed that it would be equally ideal for a date night dinner or for entertaining business clients.

Unique space, classy and professional

Based on recommendations, I had really high expectations for this restaurant unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Food: the food was great, the only issue is how drenched in sauce almost everything was. I wish they allowed their meals to be enjoyed as minimally as possible without serving them with the additional sauces. Atmosphere: There was a live band here and me and my party kept yelling at each other to hear each other speak. It was also quite dimly-lit and we couldn’t see each other nor our food properly. Service: This is where it all goes down significantly. I’ll start by saying they had a sommelier (or wine server?) who was really helpful in helping us choose our wines but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing to say about the service. The waiter assigned to our table seemed so flustered and rushed that when she came to pack our plates after the mains, she also packed our remaining potato sides while we were still eating them! We couldn’t tell her to stop because of the loud music! When we pointed it out, she immediately became defensive that she asked to clear the table so she thought we meant everything! Time to split the bill, it was my birthday so I asked to cover the drinks (1 bottle of wine, 1 NA cocktail, 1 daiquiri) for the table and what I ate only, this was apparently too complicated. They kept messing it up, added drinks we didn’t drink, had a huge problem with how I wanted it to be split until I gave up and asked the bill to be split equally. It was unfortunate because I wanted to treat my friends to drinks on my birthday. What was even more infuriating was how openly they kept grumbling and making it seem like the ask was gargantuan with a party of 4! How then do they handle large parties of 10?? Finally, in my booking I specified it was my birthday. This restaurant did not acknowledge that nor send the typical complimentary birthday dessert with a candle. If each person in my group is paying £99.76, best believe I have no interest in reminding you of a specific request I added in Open Table! TLDR: don’t go here for your birthday. Dimly-lit room, loud live music, unprofessional waiters, great sommelier.

Not worth the price or quality of food. The place is dull and full of pretentious and unhappy staff. The food is okay but very pushy staff were trying to sell as much as they can. It was uncomfortable.

Jeru is an excellent place with beautiful interior, welcoming staff, and provides a mind-blowing culinary experience. The variety of ingredients and how they play with them is just simply gorgeous.

My husband took me to Jeru last night, at first I really liked the atmosphere and the venue , must say food was not bad at all but the service was extremely poor. We had the Layla deal and none of the staff seemed competent. When we raised the concern to the waiter he said he will check with his manager. The manager a curly-haired guy was very unprofessional, he didn’t even approach us he just continued chatting with the other stuff and after my second complain another manager a lady this time came and explained us everything about the deal. Even thought she was very helpful and kind that didn’t change our first bad impression. I came very happy but left very disappointed. I didn’t expect one of the best restaurants in Mayfair to have this kind of unprofessional manger.

I had an amazing experience at this London restaurant. The food was outstanding—each dish packed with flavor and beautifully presented. One of the prettiest restaurants in London. With delicious food options and impeccable service from staff. A live DJ plays for dinner guests. They have an excellent wine and cocktail list. During the day you can purchase bread and cakes from their bakery. The coffee here is also good!

Would return in a heartbeat for the food, but there is an issue downstairs with the service manager after constant mistakes. A stunning interior with the so much potential. The potato bread was amazing, haven’t tasted anything like it.

A true gem in the heart of Mayfair! Planning my mum's 70th birthday was no easy task with so many options in London, but I wanted to find a place that would offer not just a delightful meal, but a truly memorable experience. Then I found Jeru, and my expectations soared—and they were exceeded in every way! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was electric, with every member of the team giving us a warm welcome, including the owner chef, Roy. The decor was stunning, and each meticulously prepared dish took our party of 12 on an extraordinary culinary journey. We sampled everything on the menu, and I have to say, the potato bread is an absolute must-try! Our server, Miguel, was fantastic, explaining each dish in detail and making us feel right at home. If I could give six stars, I would! This has become my absolute favourite spot in Mayfair.

The food was 10/10 and the service was sensational, really impressed and the atmosphere in this place is tranquil and I will return. Definitely recommend small plates, the food is seasoned well and the taste is to die for. It’s a must try for me and I’m glad I did.

3/5 Started off with a really tasty potato bread along with the hummus and aubergine tahini. Delicious, I must say. Even though the portion size for the bread is quite pathetic and we had to order double. Nevertheless, a promising start. Then came the hassleback artichokes and the halloumi donuts: The artichokes were ok. The donuts were poor. Could have been any form of frozen battered and deep fried cheese. Junk food vibes. Perhaps the joke is on me. It’s a donut, what did I expect. Would not recommend. Then came perhaps the biggest disappointment of the meal: the Crudo. When you have a section of your menu dedicated to a certain food you would expect a certain mastery. We had the seabass, the yellowtail and the tuna ceviche. The ceviche was good. But the seabass and yellowtail were lost in their decorative plates. It’s true that you eat with your eyes first. But you can’t forget that you eat with your mouth as well. Presentation only works if it is backed by flavour. In the seabass and yellowtail there was none. Good textured, good looking fish. But no flavour. No thanks. For the main course we shared a butterflied sea bream and a filet of sea bass with tomato and pomegranate sauce respectively. I must say both were grilled excellently. The only complaint here is the portion size of the seabass - laughable for what you’re paying. But it’s a restaurant in Mayfair, so 🤷‍♂️ Finally for desert we enjoyed the halva salted caramel. It was ok. Overall, a bit like its name, Jeru is missing some final touches. A vast space, well designed, decent atmosphere and attentive staff, but if each and every one of your dishes aren’t bursting with flavour then I don’t think you are worthy of the full title.

Words cannot describe the meal my husband and I had at Jeru. From the warm welcome, to the very attentive servers, to the chef, we had such kind interactions with the whole team. Not one flaw in the night or the meal. It is by far the best meal we have had in 2024 and definitely on our trips to London. The ambiance is sexy, cozy, warm, inviting. The lighting is perfect and dim but not to dark to eat, just right. A Moroccan feel to the decor, the interior design makes me want to redo my house. The food....(I have a dairy allergy and they had no problems accommodating and tweaking dishes for us) We started with the olives which had a nice crunchy oregano spice on it and some olive oil, followed by fresh hummus topped with mushrooms and the eggplant appetizer that was some chilled cooked eggplant and roast peppers on a tahini drizzle that I ended up dipping everything into. The flavors of the hummus and tahini complemented everything so well. Everything was balanced perfectly- I cannot emphasize this enough (Jeru is for both the foodie with a complicated palate and the regular food enjoyer- I don't know who wouldn't love the food here). The crudos- our two favorites were the sea bass with little fruits and drizzles of something yummy and the hamachi. The potato bread came with a truffle honey------Are you KIDDING me???!!! I dipped everything in that too!!! Husband had the octopus which-shocker-was excellent as well. And the potatoes that were like potato bravos- very good, crispy. What gets me beyond the wonderful service, the attention to detail, the ambiance, was the perfect PERFECT way they hit every taste category- our meal was composed of sweet, smoky, savory, tangy, salty, rich, succulent, just plain DELICIOUS. We will be coming back to London just for this restaurant. I will be thinking about it for a long time. Magic.

Even in busy times (lunchtime and dinner), they are accommodating everyone to the best of the possibilities! This kind of staff should be kept as it is value weights in gold! My family and me dined at Jeru for a lovely Father's Day dinner last Sunday. Miguel welcomed us and looked after us very well. The food here is AMAZING! Our favourites were the potato bread, seabass crudo (wonderful recommendation by Miguel) and the grilled octopus. The batata harra is very good too. The drinks did take a while to come but they were made to perfection. The desserts (although not quite what we ordered) was just the sweet end to our lovely night. Thank you Kareem and Miguel for looking after us. I will definitely be coming back!

At the beginning of the meal, we were told that the chef knows the names of the boats that bring in the catch. That they source their beef from Australia, (second only to Japan) and that some of the cows are fed chocolate in their youth… a plate of hummus or a pension seemed the choice on offer. At the end, I left making a note to update my will to ask that I am cremated with a portion of Jeru’s potato bread in one hand and a plate of their baklava in another. Everything on the menu is outstanding.

Extremely disappointed on my 3rd visit to see this restaurant get ruined by unacceptably poor service when the food & ambience is actually decent. My guest and I arrived at 5:05 PM for my 5 PM booking on the 25th of May. There was no one at the reception and staff were huddled in what looked like a team meeting. After a while, a bearded male member of staff who appeared to be the manager in a blue suit comes to the desk with the most unwelcoming body language and basically asks me and my guest what we want - what else would I want in a restaurant?? I proceed to tell him I have a booking under (insert common English name). I'm a fluent English speaker and my name is as common as they come but he made me repeat myself thrice only to rudely say to me "are you speaking in Spanish or what" The only thing I can imagine interrupted his hearing as the restaurant was very quiet is the colour of my skin? A female host/staff member eventually came over to help, she quickly found my booking and advised me they weren't open yet?? They usually open at 5:30 PM. I can't understand why I was allowed to make a booking for 5 PM online. We proceeded to wait until after 5:20 PM to be seated. Thankfully we had a great waiter so I was happy to pay the service charge. Whoever the male staff member who asked me if I'm speaking in "Spanish or what" has no business working in hospitality and even less so as a manager if he is one. He has tainted the image of this restaurant for me so much so l will not consider returning.

Having been to Jeru a few times, and the food, atmosphere, and staff have been top-class. The sommelier was knowledgeable and did a great job pairing the various wines. The setting is Mediterranean and very warm, and the lighting is perfect with welcoming vibes. I would say its more geared for couples, friends and larger groups rather than children (more so as the food isn't really aimed at kids). We ordered all of the mains and four sides to pick at each as well as the majority of starters as it was a new menu to the previous (when in Rome and all that). My big win was the chocolate-aged tomahawks, which were all cooked perfectly. However, we did have an issue with the timing of the food: the main plates were brought out, but the sides were sent out at a snail's pace with the plates being cleared the greens turned up which was annoying. Tip: 1. order as much wood-fired potato bread as truffle honey. It's addictive. 2. Try to get a table near the kitchen, the smells emanating from the kitchen is just as good as the food itself

Had the set lunch... very good all round, tasty, interesting, well prepared and very efficiently served.

I spoke to Carolina, honestly she does not understand a single word. I had to repeat myself 6 times for her to reserve my bookings. I don’t understand how you could keep someone who’s representing such a high valued restaurant to take your bookings. Email got it wrong, if I didn’t ask her to repeat I wouldn’t have even reviewed the confirmation.

Amazing vibes with delicious breakfast

It is a beautiful ambient space with great friendly service. Alastair the host is an absolute gem he really made our night! The attention to detail & food are great. The bread & truffle honey is a must have as is the the beetroot salad. Then be sure to order the fish dishes they are my favourites! All round lovely experience I cant wait to visit again soon!

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. I came to this restaurant to celebrate a graduation dinner with old friends and colleagues. While there were certainly a breakdown in communication on our end surrounding headcount for the dinner, the restaurant failed to make clear what were the gratuity charges for drinks, service charges for drinks, no show fees, as well as transparently breaking down the differences between the a la carte menus and fixed group menus. I went to two different staff without a straight answer on what was going on with the no show fees and if there was an ability to soften it. Seating was not defined, being able to switch between a la carte and fixed menus were not defined, and I had no choice in optimizing my Jeru experience. Food was initially great but the restaurant was so keen on pushing us out so kept churning out courses in 15-20 min intervals. Arrived late due to an emergency and was treated like a second rate customer. Also had an ill family member that could not join so had to compensate her no show fees. Two starters, a few mains, and two dessert options. Barely enough for the table and barely enough time to properly work through the food given. What should have been an incredible night celebrating an incredible milestone was contradicting with staff saying that they weren’t packed for the night, that they were happy that we had a good time, while urgently trying to push us out to keep churning in new customers, and eventually, paying €250 euros for subpar tapas at best without any empathy, flexibility, or understanding. Language surrounding penalties against our friend who had booked the restaurant in our name was ambiguous at best, punitive at worst, leaving an enjoyment of Middle Eastern cuisine to be soured. Will be attempting to file a complaint. Avoid for much better, higher quality Middle Eastern restaurants in London.

We had the most incredible meal at Jeru. Everything from start to finish was delish and was beautifully presented. On top of this, the staff was so beyond friendly and helpful. They made us truly feel welcome in a new city. I can’t say enough about this experience. We spent 5 nights in London and this hands down was our best dinner.

Disgusting, I got hair in my food

The venue and food were great, but I must mention that the entrance reception left a bit to be desired. The staff there seemed more focused on socializing and chewing gum rather than presenting a professional image. It would be appreciated if attention could be given to ensure a more professional appearance and demeanour at the entrance. It's also worth mentioning that having multiple staff members attend to a single table can be a bit overwhelming

I have a very good time in Jeru, the host has very good smell and welcome us to a table, it’s my first time to try medit food , and the waitress Alexandra she recommend us the best dishes , all dishes are very delicious , specially the potato bread , with the honey sauce and butter, she is very kind and helpful , enjoy the atmosphere and staff service .

This restaurant in London’s Berkeley Square came highly recommended and although we thought it was quite a small menu we thought we would give it a go. Starters were really nice, we had the aubergine dip, potatoe bread and basturma…all of these were really nice and we thought we were onto a winner. We then went into the yellowtail as a mid course with the lamb dumplings and halloumi doughnuts. It was nice but very average and lamb dumplings were just about warm. . For mains we chose the chocolate fed Tomahawk for 2 it was the smallest they had which came in at £150 for 600g. Was it any different to a Tomahawk anywhere else? No. In fact it came on a trolley with a ceremony but unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the kitchen ticket that had been left on it! For dessert we had the baklava and halva salted caramel, again very average and Balava didn’t taste fresh. The music was way too loud, could not hear my partner speaking, it was just about half full on a Saturday evening. Staff were very friendly and attentive but almost trying too hard. Would we go back?? No I’m afraid not. At a whopping £180 per head I can think of much nicer places to go to.

I had my eyes on Jeru for a while before going and it didn’t disappoint. Our server, Cairo, was extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to guide us through their selection of dry-aged beef. Chef Carlos was also kind enough to come by and introduce himself. I highly recommend the halloumi donuts to start, tuna ceviche crudo and the chocolate-fed wagyu had the marbling looking like David’s Michelangelo. Overall a fantastic experience and I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

This was my first time visiting Jeru for a friends birthday and I am completely blown away! The atmosphere was amazing, with great vibes from the DJ but at the perfect volume so we can still hear each other! The food! Wow! 10/10. For the set menu it’s the first time with a sharing style that I have genuinely enjoyed every bit of the meal. From starters to deserts! Each option of food was amazing and allowed us all to taste a good portions of each option! My fave starter was the toasted bread with Miso butter and honey😍! The chicken and the Fish🔥. I must point out that the service here was 10/10. From the warmest welcome to the attention to detail and making sure each and every guest was having a great time. I must highly “Ardea” was an amazing host! She really made the birthday celebration special. The management really took care of us as well! Really great food! The only thing is the bouncer is kinda rude. Had a reservation on Thursday at 6:30 and was questioned about why I was there; also did not open the door. Lastly, one of the chefs peed on the toilet seat and the floor and did not wash his hands. Kinda gross. The servers were amazing.

Awful experience, Saturday lunch time all restaurant in London are busy this place was empty we were the only table. Food super average. Service horrible not even the basic manners. Really a waste of time !!!

Our recent visit was marred by disappointing experiences with their wine selection. Despite our understanding that stock shortages can occur, we were surprised by the lack of alternatives offered when our desired Chateau Musar was unavailable. Furthermore, receiving a younger vintage than what was listed on the menu, yet being charged the same price, was both misleading and disappointing. This inconsistency repeated with another wine selection, further impacting our dining experience. What's more concerning is that despite being prompted to provide feedback, which we did politely numerous times, the restaurant completely ignored it. While the food quality was excellent, the lack of transparency, consistency in wine offerings, and the blatant disregard for customer feedback warrant significant improvement.

Wonderful. Food is 10/10 Make sure you get the potato bread and the halloumi. The sea so always delicious. Great cocktails too! All the staff are very sweet too!

I've had multiple experiences at Jeru, and each time I'm impressed by its incredible concept and location. This place masterfully combines Mediterranean cuisine with luxury, creating an unforgettable dining experience. Chef Roy is exceptionally talented, and his culinary skills shine through in every dish. I highly recommend trying the appetizers; they're as delightful as the main courses. The concept of the restaurant is brilliant and unique, offering a multi-layered experience: a boutique café at the front, a sophisticated dining area upon entering, vibrant live performances in the lower ground, and private event spaces on the second floor. Jeru is undoubtedly one of the most unique restaurants I have ever visited.

Great food, service and atmosphere. We came during lunch service, very attentive staff and everything we had was outstanding. Excellent drinks menu. Our favorites: Potato bread served with miso butter and truffle honey, spiced brick chicken, white negroni.

The pastries is so soft and delicious. It comes from the oven directly to my plate 😋😋. I like it and I should be back again. Thank you whenever I am visiting London.

Firstly, the moment we came inside the restaurant we were already felt like we weren’t wanted, the service was so slow and the staff were late to take our orders it took them 30-40 mins to take our orders. I thought because it was in Mayfair the service would at least be decent but it was bad and slow. Considering we spent nearly £500 the service was so bad the food came out so late we were there for 3 hours and we had to take the service charge off because it was that bad. The staff didn’t pay attention to anything and they were very cold. It’s completely overhyped the food was dead all the food we ordered came out cold and dry. Don’t come here. Save your money.

Went there with friends rather early at 6.30pm , were the first guests on a Saturday evening. The space filled up quickly and by 8.00pm was completely full; the food was nothing short of excellent- the oven fresh bread with truffled honey fantastic - very well done , service excellent and the DJane created a good buzz later on - for those who like it more quiet ask for a table upstairs

We were in Jeru with friends for dinner, the restaurant is very well situated walking distance to continue the party afterwards. Food was great and gives another option to the dining scene in London. Well executed meditteranean dishes and some exotic combinations like the sea bass in lemon tahini. Artichokes and crudos are fantastic starters to begin with. Staff is professional, guest relations were at the top you would expect to be taken care of. We didn't get disturbed by the music like other reviews, maybe our table was better. Don't miss Jeru if you wanna enjoy a night out.

I am very sorry to rate the experience with a 4 because I think this place has a lot of potential. The food was really good, much better than neighboring popular restaurants. We tried a variety of dishes and all were tasty and interesting. The service was also very caring and friendly. The ambience itself is nice. However, the music was so loud we could barely talk. It felt more like a club than a restaurant. We booked a table at 20.30 and when we arrived music was already loud and it grew louder during the meal. We escaped to a nearby bar to finally be able to have a conversation. We did not know that it would have been like that otherwise we would have not gone or we would have asked to be placed somewhere else if possible. Such a pity cause the rest of the experience was great.

Nice menu, very interesting and well executed. Food is very good and service is great. However, the DJ was nothing short of sadistic, we were a party of 4 impossible to have a conversation across the table, a number of tables around us had couples that opted to seat on same side of the table to be able to talk. In spite of making the comment twice, the DJ was more concerned about doing his thing than enhancing the dinning experience

First time visitors but it won’t be our last visit. The service and atmosphere were great and the food was unbelievably delicious! The potato bread and octopus were next level! We cannot wait to return.

Lovely restaurant with amazing food. We went for dinner and from arrival to leaving were looked after with great attention. The food and ambiance was great, and the service second to none. Would definitely come back again

Attending a Christmas evening dinner. Shared starters were tasty, main course wasn’t great and I had to leave before dessert as 3 hours of loud music drowning out any conversation was plenty for me. Room was cramped and trying to get a drink, even non- alcoholic was nigh on impossible - our company insists on non- alcoholic cocktails being available at all events. I managed to get 2 colas in three hours. Unisex toilets are really not my thing (it’s a cleanliness thing!) so if that’s a problem for you too I would go elsewhere.

Excellent food and wine. Girlfriend didn't like one of her dishes and it was sorted speedily and kindly.

Good selection of food, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. I would recommend this place if you are looking for more of a casual dinner. There is a nice variety of dishes to choose from with a nice Mediterranean touch.

I have been recently in a wonderful place called “Jeru”. Not gonna lie, such a glorious experience! Was very fascinated about the taste and quality of the food! The service is on spot, I’ve been served by Andrei, very friendly and professional manager. The drinks were served very well , Vlad done amazing job, Definitely will be here again soon with more friends!

Very good service, the food was well presented. I was there for a business meeting and they respected the conversation at all time. The service was attentive and the ambiance was great to talk.
