Great food, lovely service. 1st time I tried, I will be back !

It's good, but it could have been better.

Ordered a grilled chicken. Was very dry and old chicken and no effort was made to the dish. Chips were old and dry and not fried properly. Rice was served in a bowl. Only soup was good. Very disappointed and the staff did not care and said this was ‘normal’. Me and my family won’t come here anymore.

Excellent cuisine. The dishes are plentiful and at honest prices. I recommend eating at this Lebanese restaurant in London.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The three of us had planned to get our own dishes and just share a couple, but everything was so amazing we had to try it all. The Tabouleh and Fattoush salads were unreal, the falafel was the best I’d ever had, and the hummus Beiruty was lovely. The whole meal all we talked about was about amazing the food was. We also had a large glass of house wine each and ended with espresso martinis, alongside our 7 dishes, for just under £30 each!!! AND they bought us free baklava to end the meal. Amazing value, especially in London. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. It was so good we even went back for takeaway the next day. I could live off your food!!

The Cedar used to be the best Lebanese restaurant in west London. When they first opened, their food portion sizes were very generous and pricing could not be beaten. However over recent years, as they have expanded to 4+ restaurants, the quality of management of each restaurant and the quality of the food produced by each has lowered drastically. At this point, sadly, we are ordering from other restaurants as we cannot count on a good experience from The Cedar any longer. To the owner: I told you this would happen years ago but you didn't take my advice. I told you to keep the portion sizes the same and resist increasing prices. Maybe you would have 20+ restaurants now if you did. Oh well, on to the next.

We had dinner in the West Hamsted branch. Amazing food and service. Flavours of Lebanon in London. The food is very delicious. One of the best Lebanese restaurants. We will be back soon!

I’ve ordered takeaway from here for over ten years. The food is always tasty and great and like others have said the portions are generous.

Really nice Lebanese food and friendly staff. The meal came with fresh pita (maybe homemade?) and they gave us some baklava to take home as well. Both were very good! We had the Moutabal, Soujouk and Lahme Armanieh and ended up not having room for a main meal so will definitely be back soon to try more of the dishes 😋 Very reasonably priced as well

Paid for 2 500ml water, twice, so that should be 4 500ml waters. I received 2 330ml waters.

Here is the thing: we used to order every week, and each time the food was perfect... the bread, the garlic sauce, the kebabs - all of it, just perfect. However, for a while now, it's been a real hit and miss, some days, it's still as good as in the old days, but more often than not we are not happy with the quality. Taking a break from ordering here, will try again in a while hoping that the consistency returns!

Relatvely disappointed this time. Quite tasteless and noithing overly noteworthy about the flavours or tatses. Didnt seem overly fresh but the restaurant were lovely and adhered to my notes request. Only thng that really pinged of flavour was the garlic dip unfortunately.

Food was good but two issues for 24 pound i'd expect more rice received not much rice maybe about 4 or 5 tablespoons of cooked rice which was disappointing also a little more garlic chilli sauce would have been nice instead of the tahini sauce.

Perfect as always I wouldn't order from anywhere else.

Today the chicken liver was very dry and the kunafi can’t even taste it in the bread it’s very small piece if your portion is that small then serve it with out the bread at least.

We love the food from this restaurant and it has never disappointed us.The frilled meat is very tasty and juice and I like that they are also grilled onions and tomatoes included.The lebanese pitta breads are always very fresh.Today the staff included some baklava for us as a treat.Thanks for being so amazing 👏

I usually order online and the food is always good. I wanted to eat at the restaurant today and the food was amazing. Generous portions and authentic taste. The Lebanese Foul dish is excellent here and the Balila. Try the Sujuk with eggs but only of you are eating at the restaurant, egg dishes are usually better when it's still hot.

Genuinely the best Lebanese food we’ve ever had. The bread were so freshly cooked and smelled amazing. Hummus was incredible and the lamb was delicious. Price was amazing for the portions. Cannot recommend it more highly to anyone.

Great restaurant. Felt at ease and were served as soon as we walked in. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. You get good portion sizes so we had to take some things home, and they were happy to answer any questions we had. Will definitely come back to try more!

Delicious food and great service. I was expecting a good meal based on a recommendation but this was above and beyond. Well done!!!

First visit with a group of five friends. The fresh fruit juices are a refreshing start. The complimentary plates of green olives, chillies and good freshly sliced tomatoes arrived quickly. My personal choice of manakish with labneh and thyme was very tasty with a generous filling. Accompanied by a generous portion of tabouleh. Service was friendly and helpful for us to make quite a wide selection of different dishes. Particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread dipped into a super tasty green bean and tomato dish which came with fluffy rice and vermicelli. I found the music a bit too loud because I have hearing problems and if the music is too loud I find conversations difficult to follow. Nevertheless we spent a lovely time together and we will certainly visit again.

Food and service never disappoints. My favourite Lebanese restaurant in London. Parking around the area is easy with free parking on Sundays and pay n display right outside. Was fresh, tasty, delicious food. The bakery cooks fresh on order and the Lebanese pizzas are great. Kids also enjoyed the fresh bakery items.

The food packaging containers are very bad, the aluminium bends very easily and the food comes out. The soup leaked out even though it was sealed with cling film. The food arrived all mixed up with the soup, very poorly presented. The driver was kind and apologetic because the parcel was dripping with soup.

Great Lebanese food very reasonably priced

Quality has dropped significantly, I was served 'knafeh' which was essentially some cheese between flatbread. Outrageous. We even queried this with the staff, who had previously made a proper knafeh (the actual dessert, with melted cheese and syrup) before. The grills are good otherwise though.

The food is packed with chargrilled flavour and very plentiful. We always over-order and have enough to take home to feed us again the next day. We found the Malvern Rd branch last year when we stayed with friends and wanted to come back again this year, and couldn't understand why it was always shut when we turned up after 8pm. So I stopped in earlier today to check opening times and the guys said tonight they shut at 8:45. When we diligently showed up just before 8 though, all the lights were off. What the ! we thought. The mystery was promptly solved when one of the guys came out and offered to drive us to the Cedar Restaurant proper, on Fearnhead Road. Turns out the Malvern Rd one is more of a butcher shop, where they prepare their meats and send out deliveries. Explains why the guy last year said not many folks eat at the Malvern Rd one, while we sat outside tucking in like the tourists we obviously were. The lovely Syrian man drove us 2 mins up the road, delivering us safely to the Fearnhead Road restaurant where we finished our night full and happy. It was quiet inside, just a few local expats eating and chatting. Inside the place is well laid out, and you can see into the kitchen which looked spotless and orderly. There are some interesting vintage photos of what I presume was Beirut and the Lebanon from a few years ago adorning the walls. The staff were efficient and helpful, not fawning and working their tips. We did tip of course, and were gifted a small box of baklava unexpectedly in return as we left. Genuinely welcoming, and did I mention the food is delicious, and the portions extremely generous? Now that we finally know where the actual restaurant is, and its opening hours, The Cedar is another habitual restaurant for us whenever we're in the area.

We ordered food via Uber Eats today and it was a huge disappointment. Baby chicken was so dry that it was impossible to eat. Chicken and lamb shawarma dry as well. Carrot juice was full of bits, and you could tell the carrots used were not washed at all (or maybe juice wasn’t fresh, I’m not sure). We paid around £14-15 per dish and half of the food went to bin. I used to get the food from Cedar quite often but recently the standard has clearly gone down.

Best Lebanese in London. Amazingly simple and absolutely perfect every time.

Was one of my go to Lebanese for 20 years, but in the past few years things seem to have gone downhill. Quality of the food is no longer also lack cleanliness. To make it worse on my last trip for a take away I ended up sick with food poisoning. Very disappointing.

The best chicken livers & Fattoush. Always generous portions. Great value.

DO NOT ORDER A DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. Delivery is totally unreliable, perpetually late, when you ring to chase you get all kinds of contradictory stories to string you along and the last two times my food hasn't arrived at all.

Chicken wings (Jawaneh) were swimming in oil. As if fried in a pan, not barbecued nor oven cooked. Quite disgusting. Tasteless. Spicy sausages (Soujouk) - Served as one blob of some spices and oil/grease. Moussakat (Batenjan) - had one small piece of aubergine, some chickpeas and mainly consisted of very much "soury" substance brownish colour. Very odd & different to how it is usually served. Overall - very disappointed. I have eaten at this place few times last year and ordered plenty. But this has been very very bad. Definitely not ordering again and telling my friends about it. Even took pics of the oil in the food - but i cant submit them here.

We are regular customers and love the food from Cedar Lebanese. Only comment is that the minimum order amount changed from £15 to £20. Very happy that our food also arrived earlier than the estimated time of ~1 hour!

Delicious hearty meal. The wrap was full of flavors. Kaftah Khashkash tasty lamb and gravy, the best rice in my opinion.

My favourite restaurant in the world. Been going to the cedar since I was a baby - probably been there over 100 times with family, my girlfriend, or just by myself after a hard day, and the food has always been amazing - not a single bad experience. Great value for money and by far the best Lebanese food in London. All those Lebanese chains like Maroosh are absolute scams in comparison to the cedar. 10/10 recommend!❤️

We usually order from the West Hampstead location, which is excellent, but found this one not as good overall. We ordered rice that didn't come with the delivery (which was a bit late), our Cheese Rikakat was really undercooked, and the tabouleh was missing lemon. Hoping it was just an off night. Food was otherwise fine. Really enjoyed the sabanegh.

Not only excellent food but great costumer service, after ordering from them many many times today they forgot to send one of the items, I called them and just a few minutes after the delivered to me. Fantastic food as usual.

I really didn’t enjoy my takeaway here. I ordered a baby chicken and rice. The chicken tasted and smelt old, there was so much fat and the taste was off. I didn’t eat it as I thought it would make me ill. The rice also smelt really old and they literally gave me the smallest portion of rice to go with a whole chicken. In this cost of living crisis getting a takeaway is a luxury so cedars will lose customers if food carries on like this. Would not recommend.

Amongst the best for authentic Lebanese food. Also, relatively cheap!

We were regular customers in the past but we were away for a year so decided to try again and see if the quality has changed. We were happy to find out it is still delicious as it was and prices haven't changed much.

I recently gave this a good review, however of late the quality has gone downhill. The kitchen area looks messy, staff cleaning the floor or emptying rubbish bins and then proceeding to touch the food with their hands as they pack up. Several scruffy delivery drivers loitering inside the restaurant makes for an unpleasant environment inside the restaurant. Note to manager I have been coming to this Maida Vale branch for over 10 years, this is the worst state it has been in you seriously need to look at how this place is being run by your workers. It’s a shame that my last few experiences was a terrible one as a loyal customer.

Ordered from Deliveroo and the delivery driver forgot a bag containing most of the order. I called Cedar and a nice man from the restaurant personally delivered the forgotten bag within minutes. Much appreciate them going the extra mile as they could have easily told me to take it up with Deliveroo.
