I had a wonderful evening at Cedar Medieval Restaurant ☺️ I came to visit London and wanted to try Lebanese food, and many people recommended this lovely place❤️Honestly, everything was perfect—the food was amazing, the manakish, grilled meats, and fattoush were all fresh and full of flavor. Specially the service was fast, and the waitress was very kind and professional. The cleanliness and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. If I ever visit London again, I’ll definitely come back to this restaurant , thank you 🤗😊

Pathetic service. Have kept amateurs at customer service who don’t even know how to deal with customers! Ordered a Humour beiruty and got a call 25 min later that they dont take orders below £15. The person on call was extremely rude and and not ready to make an exception for an issue they had created!

Wow is this the restaurant I went there last night I thought it was pretty cool but when I arrived there in first they guy with fake arm tattoos was very rude and rude he didn’t even speak with us guys don’t waste your money

Update Firstly the prices at this restaurant have increased significantly over the past 18 months. Nonetheless, I ordered late this evening via Ubereats. The restaurant sent out the order and it was disappointedly burnt. I can only imagine the manger accepted the order but the kitchen has decided to leave work on time rather than correct their mistake by cooking the dish again. How can you be proud of your work if you don’t have a problem with sending this low quality of food out of the kitchen. Uber is going to refund me for most of the cost but this is disgraceful. I’ve never received a burnt dish before from any online delivery. I now have to decide whether I order from another restaurant to delivery an alternative order or go hungry as it’s getting too late to eat. I’m very disappointed. ————————————— I’ve ordered takeaway from here for over ten years. The food is always tasty and great and like others have said the portions are generous.

The Cedar ha sido nuestro restaurante favorito desde que lo descubrimos hace más de un año. Hemos estado aquí muchas veces y hemos tenido la oportunidad de probar una variedad de sus platos. La comida es deliciosa y llena de sabor. Hay una excelente selección de platos tradicionales libaneses, con un montón de opciones para los vegetarianos. Nuestros favoritos incluyen el moussaka de berenjena libanesa con arroz, moutabal, manakish con za'atar y halloumi. El baño de ajo está fuera de este mundo. La parrilla mixta es la favorita de mi padre cada vez que visita. Los encurtidos van tan bien con los platos y el baklawa hace un postre perfecto después de una comida de relleno. Las porciones son muy generosas y a un precio razonable. El equipo también es genial, todos son siempre amables y acogedores (felicitar especialmente a la señora encantadora que nos cuida tan bien cada vez).

I love the food and have ordered probably 20+ times over the last two years! Particularly enjoy the fattoush, falafel and houmous. BUT I have found it annoying recently how drastically smaller the portion sizes for the salads are getting- when I first ordered fattoush/greek salad came in these large round boxes which was a delicious and filling meal and then they switched to smaller plastic boxes which I was dissapointed by but ultimately ok with…and then on my most recent order on Friday I literally laughed as there’s a new plastic box which has halved the size!

I usually order online and the food is always good. I wanted to eat at the restaurant today and the food was amazing. Generous portions and authentic taste. The Lebanese Foul dish is excellent here and the Balila. Try the Sujuk with eggs but only of you are eating at the restaurant, egg dishes are usually better when it's still hot.

Tasty food, but not worth the price (chicken portion small for the cost).

I’ve been ordering from cedar for over ten years, and they’ve changed the menu a few times making it more stingy each time particularly after Covid. They’ve now taken the rice out of the lamb chops, so you spend nearly £20 on lamb chops and don’t even get a side with it! So ridiculous. I’m going to order from somewhere else now, what a shame. Your stinginess means you’ll lose business in the long run.

Great variety and quality of small plates, sandwiches and meals. Meats were perfectly seasoned, liver was amazing, salads refreshing. 2 small plates per person will still be a lot, generous portions. Delicious fresh breads. Great option for dates and/or hangovers.

So good to have authentic manakeesh in London. This is my go to place for Levant food and I love that I live near by. For best results, call them directly and place an order and pick it up - you get the food fresh and hot. Also prices are more reasonable than other places doing the same thing (still about 4x prices back home but this is London).

The moutabal (aubergine) was expired - literally had to spit it out as tasted awful and was clearly off and had to throw in the bin. The poor driver (not his fault) had a flat tire so the delivery was more than 1h late and I had a whole family hungry

Appreciate your response, but why did you charge me £81 when the check was for £71? The check was for £71 but got charged £81 on my credit card. Furthermore on the check they charged me twice for the same item, which I noticed and received a cash refund. Still this does not seem to be a coincidence and overcharging customers on the credit cards is not acceptable. Be careful!!

Friendly staff and very tasty food very nice

Food not as used to be. They changed the chef. I’ve order a meal to eat in but the smell were disgusting so I had to refuse it and I order another meal. To my surprised they charged me twice at the checkout, although the first meal were a mess and didn’t touch. Quality of food and hospitality downgraded. Will never go back again.

Amazing place, lovely people and fantastic food. I had the aubergine stew that was so flavourful, others had lamb and chicken that was great too. Much recommended!

The food is really good and the service friendly. The meat and humus are memorable. I will be back to try the other dishes. The environment is calm and you can relax.

I’ll get right to the point! The meat was so bad and underwhelming, arrived cold and you can tell the quality was really bad, from a very old cut. We informed the staff, so they took the meat and reheated it, which made it even worse. The hummus was ok at best, too grainy & overly lemony, no balance. The tabbouleh salad was fine, hard to get that wrong. Bill came to £53 with drinks. Money not well spent

Review: Disappointing Experience for the Price I recently ordered from this restaurant, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I paid £10 for what was supposed to be a portion of hummus, but what I received was an unbelievably small serving. The price compared to the portion size is just unreasonable. For £10, I expected a generous amount—especially for something as simple and affordable as hummus. Instead, it felt like a half-hearted effort, and it definitely wasn’t worth the money. This restaurant seriously needs to reconsider their pricing or improve their portion sizes if they want to keep customers coming back. Overall, not worth it, and I won’t be ordering again.

I am extremely disappointed and alarmed by my mum's experience at The Cedar. My mom ordered a simple carrot juice, and within minutes of drinking it, she had a severe allergic reaction, due to some traces of something in the blender - her throat blocked up and she found it hard to breathe! This kind of negligence is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when it comes to food allergies, which can be life-threatening. We had to rush my mum to the A&E because of this mistake. this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Have only used on Deliveroo but consistently good, especially the Farrouj Grilled Baby Chicken

Great food, amazing service and you feel like you're there overseas. It's amazing how they can bring all the experience right here in London. Authentic Lebanese food. There are vegetarian options as well and freshly squeezed juices which I recommend. Free parking on the weekends and also a short walk from Queens station.

The Cedar used to be the best Lebanese restaurant in west London. When they first opened, their food portion sizes were very generous and pricing could not be beaten. However over recent years, as they have expanded to 4+ restaurants, the quality of management of each restaurant and the quality of the food produced by each has lowered drastically. At this point, sadly, we are ordering from other restaurants as we cannot count on a good experience from The Cedar any longer. To the owner: I told you this would happen years ago but you didn't take my advice. I told you to keep the portion sizes the same and resist increasing prices. Maybe you would have 20+ restaurants now if you did. Oh well, on to the next. EDIT in response to owner comment: You must be joking, your prices have gone up twice and are now nearly double what they used to be for wraps. And your standards have definitely dropped, look at the other reviews. Also, the person answering the phone at your 'express' branch can't speak English. Go and fix your restaurants instead of replying back to reviews with arguments.

Ripping off people lately ! I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for 6 years. Myself and my husband must’ve ordered from this place 100+ times in 6 years however, lately, the service has gone down drastically and prices have gone up to ridiculous levels. On top of this, food portions have gotten smaller. Last week, I ordered food that amounted to £35 yet when the delivery man showed up, he charged me £45. So it’s £10 for delivery?? Seems excessive! Also, prices on their regular menu have become significantly more expensive than other similar restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, it’s just not worth it anymore.

I’ve been ordering and eating in at the Fernhead Road Cedar for almost ten years. It remains to me the best Lebanese restaurant in the area. Always take friends and family for a relaxing, enjoyable meal. Quality of the food is high, it tastes delicious and the portions are very big! Great service too.

They sent the rice in a plastic container. This is the first time they’ve done this they used to always send the rice in a metallic container. Hot food in a plastic container will leach the plastic into the food and is toxic. Standards now Too low!

I usually don't write reviews, but after I ate there 3 times I had to. Such an excellent food, large portions, good prices, friendly stuff. If you're hungry- that's the place. Highly recommend.

Classic old school local restaurant serving outstanding Lebanese food.

The food was very tasty and authentic. Special plus for the huge portions and reasonable prices! We especially enjoyed the grilled halloumi and falafel. The owner was very generous and gave us some free pita bread and olives to go with the meal. They also do a mean fatoush salad!

They recently upped the prices on their items. Also the owner is blatantly being deceitful in replies to some other reviews. I have receipts from months ago that show prices have gone up. Ive made like a 100 orders but i dont think ill be ordering any more

Ok. Quite salty, meat could have been juicier and less-mossy. Bread didn't feel homemade, quite thick, manufactured-feel white pita. Great service and v cheap- without alcohol you’d get plenty for £20 per head.

It's the first time we've been to a Lebanese restaurant. Wow! Just Wow! The two ladies who served us were lovely. The food was amazing, and it just kept coming. Homemade lemonade that was, sorry to repeat myself, but wow! It's a small restaurant, but Uber/Just Eat delivers seemed to be going out continuously. How the chef managed with them, the party and us I don't know. Full credit to everyone concerned. We highly recommend that you visit here if near by

It's good, but it could have been better.

Ordered a grilled chicken. Was very dry and old chicken and no effort was made to the dish. Chips were old and dry and not fried properly. Rice was served in a bowl. Only soup was good. Very disappointed and the staff did not care and said this was ‘normal’. Me and my family won’t come here anymore.

Been a long standing customer, but over the past few visits the quality of the food has gone downhill, the taste, the way it’s made/prepared especially the falafel wrap this time was a joke, not much salad or sauce. I know how they used to make these having had it several times over the years. Not up to the usual standards I came to know from The Cedar. The workers haven’t got a clue, the kitchen chef was cleaning the floor with a broom and without washing his hands proceeded to make my order. I had to inform him that he should first wash his hands. Anyway the food was tasteless and a disaster. I regret going there. I will not be returning to buy from this place again. You have lost customer of many many years!

Cannot recommend this place enough. The three of us had planned to get our own dishes and just share a couple, but everything was so amazing we had to try it all. The Tabouleh and Fattoush salads were unreal, the falafel was the best I’d ever had, and the hummus Beiruty was lovely. The whole meal all we talked about was about amazing the food was. We also had a large glass of house wine each and ended with espresso martinis, alongside our 7 dishes, for just under £30 each!!! AND they bought us free baklava to end the meal. Amazing value, especially in London. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. It was so good we even went back for takeaway the next day. I could live off your food!!

Food was fabulous, especially the lamb. Good veggie options too! Tabbouleh and the aged cheese mezes were fresh and huge portions. Our server Lamia was just lovely, efficient and a delight. Highly recommend.

Really nice Lebanese food and friendly staff. The meal came with fresh pita (maybe homemade?) and they gave us some baklava to take home as well. Both were very good! We had the Moutabal, Soujouk and Lahme Armanieh and ended up not having room for a main meal so will definitely be back soon to try more of the dishes 😋 Very reasonably priced as well

Here is the thing: we used to order every week, and each time the food was perfect... the bread, the garlic sauce, the kebabs - all of it, just perfect. However, for a while now, it's been a real hit and miss, some days, it's still as good as in the old days, but more often than not we are not happy with the quality. Taking a break from ordering here, will try again in a while hoping that the consistency returns!

Paid for 2 500ml water, twice, so that should be 4 500ml waters. I received 2 330ml waters.

Relatvely disappointed this time. Quite tasteless and noithing overly noteworthy about the flavours or tatses. Didnt seem overly fresh but the restaurant were lovely and adhered to my notes request. Only thng that really pinged of flavour was the garlic dip unfortunately.

Food was good but two issues for 24 pound i'd expect more rice received not much rice maybe about 4 or 5 tablespoons of cooked rice which was disappointing also a little more garlic chilli sauce would have been nice instead of the tahini sauce.
