lot of restaurants in the area rip off theatre goers, this was the opposite, great value, no rush and lovely food in a great space , great find !!!!

Nice enough food overall, but nothing was outstanding. We shared 5 dishes plus Greek salad before a theatre performance, so quite a busy time. The service was perfunctory but it got the job done. Booking was via The Fork offering a discount, although this was not immediately offered on the bill it was granted when mentioned.

Great for a quick bite before the theatre. Very busy but staff are very organised. Got 50% off which made it a great price.

Nice food and convenient location

It is just a good place to lunch as I often go there with friends but I am so disappointed that chicken wings are no longer on the menu. They are my favourite.

Unfortunately it took them along time to acknowledge us and sit us at the table. The tables are awkwardly laid out so we constantly felt in the way. Some to the dishes were lovely but others such as the falafel were mediocre

We were off to see Dr.Strangelove at the nearby Noel Coward Theatre, The Real Greek is just across the street. We were going to a matinee performance, so this was ideal for a spot of lunch. We had the souvlakis, one pork, one chicken - both very good. Tasty and light. The star of the show however was the Baklava for dessert. A sweet triumph ! Delicious. Good service, all in all, recommended.

Went to The Real Greek in St Martins Lane for dinner on October 12 2024 and had a fantastic meal. Started with the hummus and tzatziki which were great followed by the Greek salad, octopus and spinach pie. Everything was great and we were served by the lovely manager Magda who was outstanding. Perfect meal in a very nice restaurant. Definitely recommend

We chose this place because of convenient location and because We thought Greek food can’t easily be messed up ! The Dips are good but the lunch Deal share BBQ meat Platter for 2 was disappointing ! No Tasty Lamb,.. just some dried out Lamb Mince meatballs and some bbq Chicken Wings ! Also as a professional Wine and Restaurant Critic I found The automatic Service Tip Fee of 10% that they try to impose as a fait accompli objectionable ! So my 96 pound Bill or invoice suddenly transforms into 106 pounds on the Credit card Terminal and the waitress nonchalantly comments ,…Oh We charge a 10% fee “are you OK with that ?” I informed her that in fact,..no I don’t accept that,.it was a bit of a trick,..and she gave me a 10 pound Cash Refund! As a consumer advocate I stand up for principles in a world full of Gouging,…and so should You !

Amazing food and great service.

Had a lovely meal here before the theatre. Great vegan options, speedy food and such friendly and helpful staff, Magda in particular was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a pre dinner meal or for an any meal out.

I had lunch today in the restaurant and the staff who was attending us was a lady called Nabela. She was really sweet and respectful person. Nabela was attending us quickly, serving our food fast and even welcoming us really sweet and asked ask for any additional help and caring a lot.

Food was amazing, atmosphere brilliant, staff fantastic. Recommend the taramasalata as well as the octopus. Definitely have the halva for pudding. Nabela was a lovely server, we will definitely be back.

A small restaurant, intimately decorated with friendly service with whom you can have a nice chat. I recommend halloumi fries, delicious bread with olive oil and a mixture of herbs. At the end, delicious Greek Flatbread. I hope to go back there again :)

We visited this place on Friday at lunchtime. We were tempted by the offer for £10, which is not common in central London. It was £10 well spent

The food was really and the service really quickly. The waitress who attended me her name was Nabela. She was really kind explaining us the menu, suggesting us which food to order and really Patient. She attended us really quickly and welcoming us very nicely. Really nicr service From Nabela's part.

Pop in for a quick lunch while we were exploring this part of town. Away from main streets we got a feeling we are in the small taverna in Greece. Nice decor,lovely meze dishes we didn't expect it will be enough but we were wrong. Absolutely worth visit and the cherry on the cake was attentive staff.

I have been fancying a mousaka for so long so I decided to take myself down to the real Greek and wow it was amazing, so yummy, the food came out fast and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend!

I have been to their other locations and many other Greek places in London, but unfortunately this is one of the worst ones. The service was slow and all of the 5 starters we had were tasteless and too small. The waiters were trying to be helpful but the problem is in the kitchen. Very disappointing.

The waitress was very rude to me and even over heard her talking to her colleague about me as I simply said the chips took too long to come as I was almost finished with my meal and I had to go which i said politely but she snatched the chips of the table and huffed away, I was quite bewildered with what happened so I just paid and left The food was lovely though

Buzzing and lively place. Super quick service and very polite waiters. I enjoyed the feta and chilli dip very much. Highly recommend booking a table while visiting the theatre for a quick and delicious dinner.

It was a pleasant dinner, both for the atmosphere and the treatment of the staff. We loved the food and the desserts are 10. Our waitress, Nabela, has been lovely and as an extra, she speaks Spanish if you have difficulties with English

The food is really good and tasty but the service is a bit slow. I waited for 20 mins but on one was asking for ordering but in general the staff is friendly if you take action to approach them first.

Wow had a week in London, we stumbled on this place. Booked for a pre theatre meal and it was outstanding. Super service from all the staff, special mention for Sofia who explained the menu and helped make it a memorable evening. The show was great as well.

Having chosen this place for our dinner, we were served lukewarm moussaka which would have tasted better if they were served hot. The skewers were a bit tough and other dishes were very average for the prices charged. The service was good however but on the whole we were very disappointed with the food. So we would not recommend The Real Greek restaurant chain unfortunately.

Such a lovely meal, lovely atmosphere and beautiful restaurant. Sofia was amazing and made us feel so welcome, plus the food was so similar to holidays in Greece 🥰!!

The service was really fast. The person who attended us it was a female called Nabela, she was really friendly and helping us our choices making sure we are comfortable with great service. Another staff called Sofia who was treating us really nice and giving us the food and attending us quickly.

We had a Groupon voucher and the whole experience was fabulous. The food was tasty and served on afternoon tea stands. The portions were perfect and each dish was explained to us. We actually went to the wrong restaurant but this was not an issue and as we were too full our desserts were put in containers so we could take them away. Superb.

Have eaten here twice before the theatre. This chain of restaurants doesn't disappoint.... But the toilets are downstairs!!

Ideal restaurant for family and to go with children, our table was served by Nabela, she was very kind and very patient since we were going with children and we had no idea about the food. She helped us a lot and recommended the octupas with fava, which were delicious, We will return to try more dishes .

The food was very rich, tasty and tasted very authentic Greek. We had the pitas/sandwiches and some starters like hummus and spicy cheese. Music at a pleasant level and, of course, in Greek style. Nabela took great care of us, she was very friendly, fast and also speaks Spanish, so she helped a lot to resolve some questions. We were left wanting to try more things. Advisable.

Unfortunately some of the food was not fresh, pitas were hard and the gyros souvlaki was the most bland I've ever had! Chicken chunks in gyros!? Would look elsewhere for Greek cuisine in London. The Fava and Tiropitakia were good, otherwise poor quality for the price.

Omg! Guys the food was soo good like 10/10 and the service was amazing especially that kind girl Nabila, she was so nice and patient with us cuz we were taking so long for ordering our food and she made the experience much easier for us. like I said the food was so nice the service, atmosphere like everything was so nice. Me and the girls had so much fun😘

We were served almost at the end of closing time. Olessia was tremendous, she not only accommodated us, offered us the best in the menu but also offered her own food she was supposed to take home for herself, as the last order time was over . She is awesome.

Food was fantastic and Olessia went over and beyond in her service and accommodating our late night requests! I couldn’t fault her service at all!

The service is very fast and very kind. Magda was especially helpful and takes care of her customers. Beautifully lit up interior and peaceful atmosphere. The perfect place to dine in during the day as well as the evening. The food is so so delicious, fresh and its quality is genuinely amazing. I recommend the tomato prawns, Greek salad and hummus, worth every penny.

It is a bar to order various things and share. The dishes are tapa size, it is not very expensive for the area it is in. We ordered vara, moussaka, chicken and pork meatballs. A very pleasant treatment. The food is very delicious, my photos don't do it justice hahaha It's worth it, I would repeat again!!!

Everything was very good, very good presentation and food, spectacular service and very original dishes. I totally recommend it!

Amazing food and great service from Olesia and Magda

A busy restaurant, but that didn't slow down the staff. We were seated in under 5 minutes, and the drinks delivered not long after. While the menu is not large, the flavor of the food was amazing. I split the grill platter with a friend, and my wife ordered the mousaka. It was an enjoyable meal after a long day.

We shared a plate for two like advertised in the window. Unfortunately the meat was quite burnt and a bit of it appeared to be spoiled. On addition, the service was not efficient at all - although the waiter had a plaster cast on one arm, so we can easily forgive him. In the end, we were quite disappointed. I do hope our experience was an isolated case - it seems to be, according to the good reviews.

Staff were rude, uncaring and ignored our table multiple times. Had to ask to be served. They brought out a random part of our meal (breads) that were meant to come with the mains within 5 mins of ordering then nothing else came...Food took over an hour we had to leave before it had even been cooked apparently there was only 1 chef as the excuse (inform people of that and the wait times). Other tables served after us were served their food before we were... so the chef was able to cook their food but not ours. Felt super uncomfortable with the whole experience and I was really looking forward to it as it was my birthday meal.

Great place! Thanks to Olesia for her welcome and kindness. The food is delicious and true to real Greek cuisine. I am gluten free and lactose free and I was able to eat without any problem and enjoyed it! I highly recommend!

Myself and a few friends attended this restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner but we won’t be coming back. We have previously been to other real Greek restaurants and loved the food. We assumed the food and service would be equally as good at this location, but we were wrong. The servers were rude and unfriendly. It was quiet when we went but we were often ignored. When we were served they missed items off our order multiple times. When the food arrived it was a massive disappointment. A piece of rubber is more tender than the food we were served. Again I have been to other real Greeks multiple times and ordered the same dishes without issues. Overall I would not recommend.

There’s an amazing selection of vegan and veggie dishes, delicious cocktails, very nice ambience and lovely staff. The location is central and very convenient for a pre-theatre dinner. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
