I was surprised with the taste of the food, so delicious. I had rice and chicken. My son was asking me to eat that, so I tried it. I was happy that I did try because the taste was so good, and very easy and practical. Also you have place to eat in.

I got a salmon combo which was just ok, the soy sauce was pretty bad and there is no place to eat other than standing, it's definitely not worth it, the price is also not as cheap as it could be

Wasabi offers a big selection of hot and cold food at affordable prices. Good veggie options too. Limited eating-in space as this is more of a grab and go place.

Simple payments and lots of tasty hot dishes available. My favorite is the chicken katsu box – always delicious! 😌

I love wasabi as its always fresh and more affordable than other quick take away sushi on the go on the high street 😋 I just hope they keep up the good work, it's delicious !

Get my lunch here once a week. Good value for money. Food is always reliable. Quick service. Nowhere to sit though, you have to be ok with standing.

Lots of variety of dishes, both hot and cold. The place is very clean although with few tables to eat. We picked up the food and it withstood the heat very well until we reached the destination (about 30'). Everything was very delicious.

Great sushi at a great price, hot or cold options available. Then take it around the corner to the park and enjoy the outside.

Really it is so busy place and you can enjoy your favourite Sushi 🍣 😋

Very friendly staff. Food was kinda of healthy and pretty delicious for a take away. Can recommend if you want something else than mc Donald’s. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Recommend.

Update your hours online. Some people have finite time, and don't want to turn up to find you closed an hour before your listed closing time.

Good taste but not value for money this days. Inconsistent proportion of food and quantity. I have been a regular customer of Wasabi but dont think any more. I bought Tofu curry with Rice. The quantity has gone just half of what it used to be for double price. Also different containers have different quantity by the look.

Nice sushi for on the way. You can have your sushi freshly prepped or grab the freshly packed ones and dig in. We tried the hot meals as well, they are okay / not great. Ill stick to my sushi box.

its OK. nice one of treat. tastes good. there are no seats which is super anoying expecially in the middle of London where there a lotta walking involved in getting there too. loads of e numbers, preservatives and artificial additives. don't recommend if you are concerned bout your healt but it tastes really good as a one off treat.

Again dissapointed! I ve got occassional cravings for wasabi lunch boxes so somehow i managed to accept the price increase and quantity decrease but today I had to eat a COLD lunch box . Its not worth it and i really dont know why i still go there!

Seven pand for a katsu. Not bad for occie st. I always find katsu underwhelming. Don't know why I still get it. Will get firecracker next time.

We ate crispy chicken with curry sauce and rice that was really nice and also chocolate mochi. I will eat again, I really recommend.

Just a month ago i left a review about how disappointed I felt when suddenly I find out that according to the cashier they never had half price on the hot food, when I actually bought from here hot food on half price..I had a reply from someone saying that I was corect and she will pass the message to the brach to ensure this is not happening in the future. Guess what, today same story. .. I understand and it is your choice as a business should you wish to offer a discount or not. What I dont understand and upsets me is that you advise/advertise something that is not true. It puts me in an awkward situation at the till.

Very disappointed, I've been buying on several occasion from this branch after 9pm as I work near by and I've always had half price before closing . Today I walked in and been told that at this brach they never done that om hot food.. i asked when did they changed it and they lied to me again that they never done that here... when the only think I eat from Wasabi is hot food . ☹️

Whent there with my friend to take some sushi takeaway as we love food from them and eating it in a park around the corner. I don't know if was close to expired date or temperature wasn't right for food holding but... 4 hours later I endap with vomiting and diarrhea.... in my home...its a bad experience.

Nice place with good, fresh sushi for very affordable price in a great location. You can ask for a warm meal as well. Unfortunately there is not much space to sit and eat, sometimes you need to wait. Staff is really kind.

It’s a small takeaway Wasabi store and it’s got a good selection of sushi and hot food. The location is very convenient and you can grab what you want, pay and go easily.

Chicken teriyaki incredibly salty; nothing like it used to be

I had some lovely food here recently - and was excited to see that Wasabi sell at half price 30 minutes before closing. Went along - "No, not half price." I'd waited a respectable amount of time after 9pm before venturing around there. Won't be going again.

Chicken Katsu Salad with an added extra live spider! This was my first ever experience of eating from Wasabi Sushi & Bento. We spent £20 on 2 mains and 2 drinks. To my horror, when consuming the chicken katsu salad, I saw something move amongst the leaves and chicken. When I looked under the leaves, there was a black spider, still alive and crawling all over my food. I have NEVER, EVER, had this sort of experience anywhere else, let alone from a supposedly reputable hospitality chain like Wasabi. I contacted their head office customer service and marketing department several times but the calls just go to a voicemail. I left a couple of messages however I've still not received a call back. I contacted them via the feedback form on their website to which I've received a response from someone named Jane saying they are investigating the matter with the branch which takes 2 day. It has been longer than the stated timeframe and I've not had a response from anyone from Wasabi despite sending 2 emails chasing this. What's concerning is that neither their customer service nor the branch care to investigate this matter or at least contact me to get further information or reassure me that this will not happen again. Needless to say I certainly will NOT be recommending Wasabi or returning to any of the associated food chain as both the hygiene levels and customer service appear to be non existent. What a poor first experience! This will definitely be reported to the food standard agency.

Wasabi is a great franchise in general, and this location is no different. Great food and great service, especially from Lipa who does excellent service when my mother visits this location.

This was an okay place. The chicken teriyaki lunch was good and I liked that they had the calories displayed. It was disappointing they had no seats for the tables and the tables could’ve used a good wipe.

Always good food. This branch happens to have a lovely smile behind the counter, which is a nice bonus.

It is actually not a restaurant, but it's just something like self service with lots of sushi variations and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.

For the quantity and quality I’d say it’s pretty good. Fish tastes pretty fresh and you can get a drink and set for about 10.23

Super Tasty! I got the spicy salmon bento box for just £4.00 with student discount. Bargain! Staff was super friendly and asked how my day was which isn’t that common nowadays unfortunately.

I love katsu curry and I already love the pumpkin katsu curry you can buy from Sainsbury's from wasabi. On my day out to London we decided to see what wasabi had to offer, I bought the Vegan Chi’king Katsu Curry with Rice. It was piping hot and ready to eat, the flavour was amazing and it hit the right spot, 5* stars. If you are in London please go and try their range, I just wish they would open outside of London.

Quick stop food, however too salty. Especially fir vegetarians like tofu or vegatsu the curry is quite salty.

I've tried two different vegan dishes here the tofu katsu curry has got to be my favourite, very flavorful! I'd have it every lunch time of I could but it can get quote costly. I like the fact that they have various vegan options here.

Great choice of food great taste and great value

Convenient location on Oxford street and very good value for money. Much more filling than burger and chips and a lot more healthy. Considering how many people that were in the place, service was quick and efficient.

A very clean and neat interior with helpful and alert staffs. This food outlet offers quality of their product with so much choice in selection of Sushi. One can also eat on the premises. There are limited bench seats.

I had food poisoning.today i had lunch in here eat sushi selection and small rise with it. after 1 hour i started wormited. I usually have food in there,but today i don't know what happen. i am very disappointed.

One of my all time favourite sushi shop in London. The food is always fresh and delicious, there's a wide range of products but the staff is the heart of this parlour. They're always professional, welcoming, warm, friendly and ready to offering good service and advice. A special shout out to Gianpierro, who was kind enough to give me excellent advice and a brilliant service every single time I happen to be in this store. Well done!

Ughh supermaket sushi? Lol how is the review 4? Dont people here know how to eat sushi? I think this is really bad sushi tastes really like supermaket sushi i can even make better at home lol. The sushi is too packed and made really fast. I can even make better. Not recommended dont even try to get it lol. Get from japan centre they give discounts for the sushis and its way better at least.

We went to Oxford for a short break and whilst in town center we saw Wasabi Sushi and Bento. Cant fault the taste of food it was fantastic. We even bought the chicken curry and thai curry and take it back to Ipswich. I hope they open a branch here in Ipswich, will definitely will help promote to all my friends. and and family

The staff here are absolutely excellent - extremely friendly and makes you feel very appreciated. I had lunch here 3 days in a row because of them! Food is good too of course, but this is definitely the most impressed I’ve been with customer service and staff, so well done for that!

We arrived in the shop at last minute before closing time and the staff was really nice and helpful. Especially Giampiero took his time to explain us the different options available and he had a real interest in helping us to find our favourite product according to our taste.We will go back!
