Best Japanese ramen noodles I've ever had. The karake-men is soooo good, perfect spice levels and such a rich miso broth. It got my nose running because I couldn't stop eating. My friends got some gyoza and they said it tasted very good! But definitely such a great place to eat and an affordable price ❤️😸😸

I love their Inferno chicken Don so good spicy😋

Clean, elegant, professional, and an experience I will never forget. They made made some of the best food I've ever eaten in my 7 years in England. The karaka bowl is to die for, the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfy, and the staff are very nice. I will definitely be coming back in the future, and I implore anyone reading this to please pay them a visit if you're in the area.

Very good vegetarian ramen, and very good crispy vegetable gyozas too! It is a chain that we discovered in Japan and we were very excited to see that there is also Ippudo's in London! It has nothing to envy to the locals in Japan :) the only thing is, the tables are very close together, there are a lot of people and without any windows... the atmosphere that is created is a bit oppressive.

One of the best Ramen restaurants in London that I have ever been to. The ramen and the Age Tako Yaki was so delicious, we ordered the “firm” ramen and we think that was just right and we were glad we didn’t order “soft” ramen. Waitress was very polite and attentive, it’s a very nice place to have a quick lunch.

Great food. Amazing atmosphere - feels like Japan in the middle of London. Staff was really friendly and was amazing to watch the chef at work!

The excellent service, my daughter spilled water and also ramen, the servers were very helpful. The ramens are great. You can picked how to cook your noodle, we picked firm. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The ramen is rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and generous portions of toppings. If you're a fan of Ippudo, you'll be very happy here. If you've never tried Ippudo before, this is a great place to start. I highly recommend it!

Quite busy, decent Udon, better than Marugame, not as good as Shoryu.

We had the crispy gyoza and karaage as starters, followed by the karaka tamago and the veggie ramen. The starters were outstanding. The karaka ramen tasted very similar to the ippudo in Australia, with a few subtle differences. The veggie ramen was quite different. Both were excellent.

Easily one of the most underrated places to eat in Central London. Food is delicious and authentic, service is great and friendly. If you’re getting over pub bites and curry, this is absolutely the call.

I have been here twice now and loved it! Fantastic broth and flavours in the ramen (and great plum wine), I always recommend Ippudo as one of my favourite places in London to get ramen. Thank you!

Veggie ramen, donburi chicken (i forgot the name), gyoza, houjica tea, and mochi cost me £45. All great! Especially love the mochi!!

The ramen is tasty here. It can get busy at lunchtimes and you may need to queue so it's worth getting there early. The spicy ramen is delicious!

The best ramen I found in London so far. Walking down embankment direct somewhere else and them window called my attention. The menù is small, that for me means good food. There are basically 3 main dishes that can be slightly changed, adding egg or extra top. Had the pork with egg (shiromaru tamago) with firm noodle. It doesn't look spectacular in the photo due to a plain color, indeed is that tasty that I haven't left a single drop of broth. Won't suggest the special, it is basically the normal dish with the extra on the side; If i am that hungry, I will order another dish

Hadn't been before and don't usually choose Japanese, but took a punt and really liked it. The veg ramen noodles were v nice!

Place isn’t the cleanest considering it’s a food place. Very cramped too. Food was meh at best. But the worst thing is the server who took away my coffee cup from starbucks because he said they didn’t allow it. Why? I don’t know because they are not a competing brand with Starbucks so I was so perplexed. He was rude to my companion as well, taking his card away to put it in the card machine. Really disappointed with the interaction.

Never disappoints, nutty , rich broth , juicy pork, perfect noodles and super tasty Kara age sticks! Service on point , super fast and extremely nice Even if there’s no reservation we didn’t wait too long outside , which is right next to the station so super easy to go to , you got Covent garden next door so very nice area

Best ramen in London. I’m a vegetarian and I loved the spicy veggie ramen. It’s hard to find a good veggie broth but this place nailed it. We’ll be coming back here.

Expect a little bit of waiting as this is a small restaurant. I know Ippudo from their Paris restaurant and it was also lovely in London. Although a tiny bit less cosy !

Easily one of the best veggie ramen I have had (the spicy one)

Aside from the very warm ramen that you will indulge, staff are also very warm in welcoming you. Be it elderly, family with toddler/infant, name it. They go extra mile with their food service. There are many seats/tables at the back, so don’t be discouraged if you see the seats in front are almost taken.

A great ramen experience if you eat the bar. They recommend ordering extra noodles, if so desired, when you’re halfway through the bowl. Eating at the bar means that I got my extra noodles in fifteen seconds! The broth is tasty, noodles were sufficiently firm textured, without being too rich or heavy. It’s also a great way to see the chef in action which adds to the whole experience. The cost was pretty standard for a London meal. The bowls are kept in hot water right up to plating and serving which has allowed the broth to stay at a good temperature throughout the meal, even with extra noodles. Excellent work, team.

Delicious food and great service. The open kitchen at the entrance gives such traditional vibes. Don't have any pictures of my ramen (Tonkotsu with an egg) cuz I ate it and didn't stop to take pictures. The takoyaki were spectacular 👌

Excellent ramen. A different universe to Wagamama which is what I was used to. Recommend firm noodles which is what they recommend. Delicious. Place is small so space limited. Sometimes queueing outside, lots of Japanese (v good sign). Not worth waiting more than 15 minutes though - it’s just ramen, but they are very good quality.

Some of the best ramen we've ever had. I had the Karaka-men and my husband had the Veggie Ramen. You get to choose your noodle firmness too. Definitely go, you will not regret it!!

If you going in a busy hours in winter you will be rudely sent to wait outside in a cold weather personally by the ramen chief and ignored with the restaurant staff as well. Very lovely attitude from Ippudo chain <3

Absolutely loved the food, the ramen were as good as they are in Japan. They also have japanese beers like Asahi and Sapporo here, which I personally really love. All in all great restaurant :)

Vraiment très déçus de l’expérience. Nous venons de Paris et connaissons très bien cette chaîne. Les ramens sont déjà meilleurs chez nous mais ce qui nous a le plus choqué c’est l’amabilité des serveurs. Est-ce normal à Londres que ce soit aux clients de voir les places libres et de demander si ils peuvent y manger ? Sans rire, il y a avait trois places libres et c’est au bout de 15 minutes que quelqu’un est rentré pour demander si les places étaient disponible. En plus de ça, c’est plutôt cher.

Service was a little lacking and slow from getting sat down to receiving the check. Ramen was normal tasting but very oily. Both eggs were too well done. Pork was tasty but only 2 small slices. Enough just to get that craving but nothing special.

been going to ippudo since i was in middle school and it's a solid and reliable choice when you're craving ramen in the city. always amazing. this one is a little small and can be inconvenient for a party of 4+, but other than that, it's a great place.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Ippodo. Despite the restaurant being virtually empty inside, they inexplicably insisted that I wait outside. This seemed like an unnecessarily selfish decision driven by poor management. I was thoroughly disappointed with the way they handled the situation.

Do una stella, perché sono stata trattata davvero male, presa in giro. Dopo un pomeriggio passato a Covent Garden, scendendo avevo voglia di Ramen, così dopo ricerche su internet sono arrivata qui, avevo il telefono morto con zero batteria e mi serviva un minimo giusto per tornare poi verso casa, chiedo gentilmente se era possibile caricarlo visto che c’era sopra una cassa un IPhone bianco… Un ragazzo asiatico disponibile chiede ad un suo collega che gli dice severamente NO! Nello stesso tempo di quando mi porta il ramen, domando come mai non posso usufruire 5 minuti di carica, quando davanti ne ho uno e non è di nessun cliente perché c’erano solo tre ragazze e tutte con il proprio telefono! Mi è stato detto chiaramente NO, come se stessi facendo la carità e non fossi una cliente. Se lo staff preferisce caricare il proprio cellulare e aiutare una cliente per soli 5 minuti, almeno che lo metta in un posto nascosto ed evita di fare figure del genere… Mi era passata la fame, ero davvero arrabbiata, delusa, non mi era mai successo un episodio così di basso livello! Non ho nemmeno assaporato il cibo, per me aveva perso tutto il gusto e non vedevo l’ora di andarmene e la cosa più triste, è che avevo speso la mia ultima batteria per andare in questo posto assurdo! Fortunatamente sono riuscita a tornare a casa con l’aiuto di persone per strada, a mai più!

If you're looking for a quick ramen fix and do not care much about the authentic taste or the flavor of ramen, then this place is for you. Many things to dislike about this joint... but mainly the broth was mediocre and lacked flavour and didn't have the richness that you expect. Also, the gyoza lacked the right flavor. For foodies out there, pass and keep looking for a better ramen place! I have been to Ippudo in Japan and this is way below the quality of ramen that the folks in Tokyo had. I am definitely not going back. However, I must say that the staff were amazing and service was impeccable.

I like Ippudo ramen very much. What they offer in London was slightly different from what they have in New York City, but equally good.

Lovely decor. Amazing staff Delicious food! We had the pork ramen with extra pork and egg. The noodles were firm in a velvety and flavourful broth. As sides we had chicken karage and the cucumber. Both delicious. Washed down with a lovely umeshu (with an ice cube as I’m not a Barbarian!)

Good ramen but slow service. Not too expensive. We were served after a family who came in after us. Not very attentive of the staff. Kind of took the shine off the lunch experience.

The best ramen london possibly. Expect it to be very expensive (£20 upwards per bowl), don’t be surprised to see the “Service Fee” on top, note the faux need to queue outside the place when it’s mostly empty, and know the service is openly hostile. But the food is amazing.

Loved the Ramen and gyoza. Didn't really like karaage, it had a weird texture.

Ramen bar. Do wyboru kilka pozycji i rodzajów makaronu. Napoje typu herbata czy trunki japońskie. Obsługa momentami nie ogarnia zamówień. Małe stoliki. Warto patrzeć kiedy jest przerwa w działaniu w ciągu dnia. Ramen ok, ale bez szału. Imbryk do herbaty mega, mega ciężki.

Really delicious Ramen, I had the vegetarian option and the broth was rich and full of flavour. It’s a good quick lunch spot, for a little break or catch up with a friend.

Exceptionally good food; lovely staff, supremely clean toilets, quick and efficient. We need to find an excuse to come back soon and dine here again!!

Small place, rather limited menu

I used to come here every week and haven’t been for around 18 months. I wish I hadn’t. I was greeted with Namasté for a start. I ordered a poached egg extra for my ramen and it was so cold it was crystallising and ruined the broth. The server was outright rude and said did I want them to leave it out in the heat. Then proceeded to lecture me on how to add the egg. It was truly disgusting and he didn’t care. I said it was making me feel sick and he said that’s how they do it. I was then physically sick in the toilets. Didn’t care. Just he’s never heard it before. I usually am fairly relaxed about not the best food but next stop environmental health.

Honestly, that ramen looked like a mess presentation wise, but it was one of the best Ramen I had in London so far! Definitely not cheap but makes up for that in quality

This was a good stop for a yummy quick lunch! We got our food quick, and everything was tasty. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was attentive and friendly!

Eat classic ramen 🍜in the restaurant, the soup is tasty with really good Japanese ramen flavor. I like the noodles as well, if you are familiar with Japanese ramen, strong recommend “very firm”. Pork belly and egg are okay…the price is a little bit expensive. Overall, it’s a good ramen experience

Best ramen in London it’s really tasty.

I've had ramen in many countries, and this is the most legitimate I've found outside Japan. The broth is clear, umami rich, and the right amount of miso is used. The ramen noodles have just the right consistency, and the Chasu was perfectly melty and warm. Can't be beat in western Europe.

I have ordered Karai men and I was deeply disappointed with the amount of meat. The amount of it was smaller than my little finger. I think they should prepare another dish to show the amount of topping rather than putting them on noodle. Some people may argue I am pretty mean but 14.5pounds for noodle is never cheap. The quantity of dish should follow the price.

Appears they don’t update their opening hours, we came here on Monday (on the website and Google it says they are open) but they were closed.

I think this is the best ramen place in central London. The broth is incredible, the noodles are delicious… I love the atmosphere there and the staff are very friendly and kind especially the manager, she’s very helpful and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend if you like ramen as much as I do

This is the essence of what a ramen shop should be. Rich broth, a focused chef, fast service and a lively atmosphere. While you may be more attracted toward the spacious central branch, this is a more authentic experience. The taste is a 100% match with what you will get in a decent place in Japan. One of the best in London.
