Had an afternoon tea experience gifted to us for our wedding. The afternoon tea was rather splendid, great sandwiches, exquisite jam selections, the cocktails that went with the cakes and sandwiches were delicious and very flavourful.
10/10 highly recommend.
I want to thank Jenney and Rebecca. They were brilliant when I attended, down to earth, helpful and efficient. They really made the place a lovely environment and I had a great time. I will definitely be back!
Came for a quick pit stop to grab a coffee and change my baby. Waited a long time for my coffee and turned out they'd forgotten it on the side. Then discovered the baby change facilities were out of order... Not a successful visit!
We first rang this restaurant from the British museum to see if we had to book up as we have never been to an itsu restaurant before. We spoke to a very friendly member of staff who ended up being the manager Greta who told us we could just turn up and didn't need to book. After a short walk from the British museum (10 minutes) we arrived at the Brunswick Centre.
From the moment me and my family entered this wonderful itsu restaurant we were greeted again by the lovely Greta who helped us feel at ease and explained how to use the food ordering system.
In fact Greta was so good at customer service she even helped us use the ordering system and showed us the sizes of the meal options.
Our 10 year old son had some sushi and loved it! We also tried the Teriyaki Chicken and the Thai Chicken rice bowl.
We would totally recommend going to this itsu restaurant and sampling both the amazing range of Asian food and friendly service. I think the manager Greta really made our experience extra special and you can tell the pride she has in her work, a real asset to itsu and I hope she get the recognition from them she most definitely deserves!
Lunch visit. No atmosphere as lack of customers. So you would expect attentive service which we didn't get. It's a chain - It's ok but there are much better and more popular restaurants in the area. Wouldn't return.
So I recently had to post a bad review about a restaurant I really could not find any value too. This is the opposite. Really well designed place, warm and comfortable with quick service. Great prawn crackers. All was good. The food was tasty and serves asahi and Singha beer. And the prices were reasonable. Really lovely place in the heart of London.
A smallish pub in a great location being close to Warren Street tube (they do have a small exterior seating area). I was here at 3.30 on a Monday afternoon and it was quiet. They had a limited selection on offer, for example just four whiskies. They had just one cask bitter, a Guardsman at £6.30 (which I had). The service was good and they had some nice traditional blues music playing. They do offer discounts to NHS staff and students. They do have a special offer at selected times of a pizza and a pint for £15, not bad for the area. An OK pub, for me it lacks product range but it was nice to check it out.
Juhyun, babe… I get it, you’d rather be anywhere else than serving sad breakfasts at 8am. But £20 for four miserable items (one of which looks like it was scooped from a trough), dumped onto a metal tray like we’re doing time in a Turkish prison? Girl. At least pretend we’re not intruding on your existential crisis. The silence at the till was so tense I thought we were about to take communion, not pay for overpriced slop.

My partner and I ate here in late June 2021. The only criticism we could make was that my partner’s tomato rice was rather soggy, but in all other respects the food was excellent. Our chicken and lamb signature dishes were fresh, hot and delicately spiced. Portions were very generous and the service was very good. All COVID regulations were adhered to and we felt very comfortable. For around £66, including starters and wine, we felt we had good value. It was just a pity that there were so few diners- the manager thanked us personally for coming and said that the shortage of visitors to London because of the pandemic had had a negative effect on his business. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good South Indian meal in the Bloomsbury area.
