This Pret is actually quite good.
The design of this shop is very functional and easier to navigate presumably during busy periods.
The workers were quick to serve me and very friendly. This particular British chain can vary and sometimes finding one with a good location and arrive during rush hour as a local is a talent.
Would visit this spot again.
Decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a work colleague. The food was amazing with both the service and the ambiance. I would highly recommend.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Spaghetti House Italian Restaurant! I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, and it was nothing short of exquisite — rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed a classic Margherita Pizza, which he devoured with delight. The flavors were authentic and truly transported us straight to Italy!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, inviting, and perfectly cozy — an ideal setting for both families and romantic dinners alike. But what truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional service. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He was especially wonderful with my 5-year-old son, engaging with him kindly and ensuring he felt special. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attentiveness.
Overall, Spaghetti House exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere!
Would you like me to customize it further?
Had been to the Edinburgh branch for the Tokyo menu and gave it 5 stars across the board, so when we saw that they were doing Sunday roast (in London) my daughter booked it for me as it's my favourite thing in the world.
Admittedly we could only get a table at 9.30pm so it was very late to eat and feel that because of the time our food had been sitting around and was not fresh. Also unless you went for the optional add on for an extra £7.00 it was only 5 courses.
You could tell it had been a long day for the service staff as apart for the first course none of the menu was explained to us. We went for the wine pairing as a special treat and at one point had three glasses of wine on the table one of which the waiter said he wasn't going to tell us about as it was complimentary - still don't know what that was about.
Probably the most disappointing courses were the ultimate roast potato - quarter of a potato that was barely cooked with dried up shoestring fries that almost broke our teeth and the same sauce as the course before, and the the ultimate roast chicken - a tiny slither of very chewy chicken and extremely bitter carrot top pesto - the hispi cabbage was nice but only had two tiny pieces the size of a postage stamp.
The whole meal cost over £200 pounds and I felt so bad for my daughter who was treating me I gave her £100. Needless to say I am cancelling my booking for 4 at Canary Warf for my son's birthday.

This corner of prime real estate in Bloomsbury has hosted an Italian joint (good), a French bistro (okay), and now Bon Vivant, a restaurant that's not very much of anything.
Service:
When we arrived the restaurant had one couple in the front of the house, and a group in the back. Hardly over-busy. But it took some ten minutes for the owner/server to bother giving us menus. Similar waits to take drink orders, and food orders.
The food:
The menu is a spiritless offering of vaguely pan-European dishes. Few options inspired me. Should have looked more closely at the menu on arrival before sitting down.
My wife's chicken was Cajun style, which of course means blackened and spicy. Hers was blackened, certainly, but dry as a bone and without much amplified flavor.
My pasta with pesto sauce was flavorless and dry.
And my most frequent gripe about most restaurants and most places: music. I'm not good at naming music styles, but when we arrived they were playing the kind of generic R&B that is so common these days. The music was annoying, but it was at a low volume. Then, suddenly, they turned it up to annoyingly loud volume. I asked them to turn it down, which they did. Don't these people know the psychology of dining and the role of music that can help people relax (or not)?
Conclusion. Far better restaurants in this sophisticated corner of London. Avoid, if you have the chance.
