Pret a Manger in Camden

This was the best Pret I've ever been to, literally went there 5 times a week in the heyday of the coffee subscription, best staff, best jokes, best atmosphere, 5/5 especially Mariia

The food here is always a pleasure. The selection of warm dishes in particular impresses me every time with their quality and taste. This chain is not one of the cheapest, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio is right because the food is really excellent. I've been here countless times and have been satisfied every time. Another highlight is the coffee: for a chain it tastes surprisingly good and stands out clearly from the typical chain coffee.

Bought a stem ginger cookie because there were limited choice in everything. It was awful, asked team leader when it was baked, same day but she was not much bothered. They may as well shut down 73a Russell square branch.

One of quieter Prets in London for a coffee, so if you want to talk and actually hear what the other person is saying unlike most coffee places, or work on your laptop it’s ideal. The aircon on a cold day was uncomfortable and we had to move tables to avoid it. A bit of an oversight by the staff.

The guy at the counter was just rude. I wanted to order after my girlfriend (unfortunately she doesn't speak English very well) and just walked away. His colleague simply slapped the filter coffee in front of him and walked away. Nobody took my order request, they had no interest in selling any more coffee. Prêt à manger, jamais.

It's better to have breakfast here than at the hotel... Better and cheaper. Quality and freshness are everywhere in London! Check because some close on weekends...

Really clean and good selection of food. Staff were excellent and when we asked for warm croissants went out of their way to offer ones just out of the oven. Made my friends day. Definitely recommend

The staff are rude.!! Also the toilets are always out of order. 3 weeks now. I am sure they should be closed.! As you cannot serve food to over ten people , without a toilet.!!!

Very poor service! I ordered an oat latte, I saw the waiter put hot milk on the system, this is the first mistake they made, I kindly reminded him; then he made the second mistake and passed me an americano by hand, instead of what I ordered, I found it not right then come back to exchange. They started to blame me said I ordered the americano, definitely NOT, I paid for the oat latte price! Then I asked them to check the system, they ignored me and instead blamed me picked the wrong coffee, there was NO other people waiting for coffee, I was the ONLY ONE, and it was the waiter passed the cup to me, rather than I collected it from the counter! A few weeks earlier I also experienced they passed my coffee to another customer, and the customer tasted it and found not right and returned it, and then they literally passed exactly THAT cup of coffee to me, the one that had been already drunk!! Really speechless, disappointed and shocked!! Poor service, poor attitude, just so so food… My colleagues and friends also lost their iPhones there, very very unsafe place too.

Interesting sandwich or croissant style food chain. The almond croissant is luxurious, the coffee is not bad. For a stop on the way it's fine.

Loved it! Staff was very kind, very quick to deliver and the indoors are quite cozy as well!

The toilets have been broken for 3 months minimum and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be repaired any time soon - we get told to go to the restaurant in front with small children who need to pee… I don’t think it’s even legal! Unacceptable! There must also be a shortage of staff - people are too lazy to throw the cups in the trash cans and the tables remain dirty for hours. Avoid!

Best Pret I have been to so far. The staff there seem to care a lot about the customer experience and are always happy to ask after your day. Its a bit further than my usual pret, but certainly worth the walk!

Pret in UK far superior to the ones in the US. If you're visiting UK and want a quick lunch give it a try. The sandwiches are really good and fresh. Egg mayonnaise is amazing.

The lady serving was really rude, I presume she is the manager. Didn't smile, was blunt. Whilst waiting for my order, another lady took my tea over to another gentleman waiting and when he declined and said something that sparked some recognition in her, she greeted him and ran off with him chatting leaving my drink there. There was one good lad working, friendly and polite... that eventually gave me my tea. Place was messy, wouldn't come back. Food on the seats, hand prints all over the windows. Rubbish left out. The manager needs an attitude check or maybe just not work in hospitality?

Just been there a while ago and asked for Cappucino and requested the only gentleman at the till to fill my coffee a bit more to the top with milk and absolutely shattered to see just now it was less than half cup despite the concerned gentleman assuring me it will be filled to the top. Literally every Pret after making assume that it will be full cup while more than quarter of a cup is just Froth but if you let it settle for 3 to 5 sec after the whole cup is brewed you should add more milk otherwise cup will be quarter less filled. Now I always request and convey it to them to fill it to top with milk but the gentleman completely brushed aside my request and normally it is 75 percent filled but it was 45 to 50 percent in this case which is absolutely unacceptable. It was less than half cup literally for 3.50 a cup.I am so so so shocked to see this kind of bad customer service.Polite but not listening to my request and who gives less than half a cup for 3.50.......I should have given 0 stars

What a lovely store!!! Natalia is like a breath of fresh air. I usually visit this store before and after my hospital appointments so I can either be elated or feeling pretty sad. Today was a great appointment and I was in a good mood and this was made even better because every single member of the team was smiling. They’re lovely and a real asset to the company. Totally made my day. I’ll be smiling all day now!!!

COUNTER AND SEATING AREA Food delicious. Drinks, piping hot. Pleasant atmosphere; airy and bright. Comfortable arm chairs and stools. Clean. TOILET The toilet is dismal. Today, when I visited it, it smelled of a public male only public toilet. The floor had clearly been urinated on, as was the toilet seat, though an hour there had been a flick of a mop. Usually there are two toilets, though from what fellow customers tell me, it’s been out of order for a week or more. There was no toilet paper, and no sanitising hand gel or paper towels for drinking washed hands. The toilet cubicle was uncomfortable to use, having to avoid the urine on the floor and on the seat, with no way of cleaning/drying the latter. I spoke to the duty manager about the toilet and I was told, ‘we are very busy and we don’t have time to ensure it’s kept clean. I was told it gets cleaned 3x per day. The fact that the counter staff’ are kept very busy, cleanliness of the toilet is given little/no importance. I suggested Pret A Manger get someone specific to maintain the toilet clean, ‘throughout the day’. The answer, ‘you need to contact Customer Service’ about that’. I told them that I would. And I certainly will.

There's no doubt this pret has amazing working hours but the service is constantly bad. I understand that I might due to the work load, but when I ask the barista to add more ice into my ice coffee(there is no ice inside when served), he first ignored me. Later when I asked again, he simply added one single ice cube into it!

Apauling opening hours . Manager openly admits only subscribers come before 9 and after three . "WE HAVE THEIR MONEY SO WHY OPEN " Hence opening hours very limited. Doesn't seem right!

This is a slightly less busy Pret with ample seating indoors. There is also seating available outdoors in warmer/ dryer months.

The food was nice and the place was clean but the main barista was yelling at a (probably new) employee. The poor girl was doing a good job but had to hold her tears the entire time:( Meanwhile the main barista gave us a grumpy face for the entire time.

Good location, good service, but there is only 1 wall plug working in the entire place. Not ideal for working for more than 1 hr or so.

I only buy here cause its close to my school, but the servuce is horrible, the baristas are rude and always with a grump face they talk back and complain about you, the food is always cold and they dont care about it and the drinks arent really good they are just hot and everything tastes like milk. The only good thing about this is the ambient but it is always disorganized and with them talking loud and the horrible service its really not worth it

This Pret branch in Russel Square (beside President Hotel) is THE BEST Pret Branch ever! Their cusyomer service is second to none! Absolutely marvelous!!❤️💙 ALL the staff are here are really warm, friendly and very respectful! Their Branch Manager is the kindest one I’ve ever encounter in my years and years of going to Pret. He’s such a hardworking guy (working and entertaining people even when he was on crutches) Getting my morning and afternoon coffee in this Pret Branch always feels like a treat! Perfect way to start my hectic day in the NHS! Kudos to the manager and the whole team! ⭐️🌟💙

Terrible service, average coffee and dirty area. We had ordered 3 drinks and only 2 arrived. When we attempted to correct the issue the staff literally rolled their eyes at us and told us they had completed the order. Additionally, wait time is ridiculous for a coffee shop.

Nobody cleaning tables. Can’t sit down without sitting at a table full of coffee, food wrappers etc.

Just wow. There is a waiter (the guy with the braids, barista) who is so incredibly rude. Zero patience and even less education. We all have bad days but if you come to work with that attitude toward the clients you better stay at home. London is full of people who wants to work. Never coming back.

Nice food and drinks can be busy

I have never seen this in my life! My card kept getting declined for some reason and a extremely nice worker who saw me struggling decided to give it to me for free, please come here this is not only delicious but some of the nicest people i have ever met

in the morning around 9am very busy, but the employees taken good care of it. No eye Rolling at a special order and fast baristas.

I asked for a dirty chai with soy milk. When asked what it is, I explained it's chai latte with a shot of espresso. A person took time thinking about it and was wishy washy if they can do it for me. Ultimately he said he won't do it, he can make chai latte and espresso separately but I'll have to mix it. Really?? Really?? Not only did they not know this coffee (so popular in Australia, and every other pret makes it for me), but also told me I'd need to make it myself? If I could give less than one star I would.

Average Pret A Manger but be aware it’s open from 7 so if you want an early coffee you might need to wait.

Pret have mixed sexed toilets with a coded door which prevents easy access in & out. I asked for the code & they gave me & the customer after me the wrong one. We had to wait until someone came out to let us in. They are mixed sexed toilets so I was alone in a secured area with two males. I felt unsafe. I then had to find the release button to get out as quickly as I could. If I were assaulted by a male I would have had no chance. I’m quite sure no risk assessment was done before a system which traps women in a secluded locked area with men was done. A panic buttons needs to be put in for such occurrence so staff are aware of any issues.

Pret a Manger is excellent quality food at a good price and you can eat on or take a meal back to your hotel room if you feel like an evening in. Always reliably good service and quality.

The worst Pret I know. This place is never clean. I arrive each morning when they open and there are tables in there it’s still haven’t been wiped from the day before. There is dust on the floor constantly. The place simply isn’t sanitary. The disabled toilet has been broken for I don’t know how long. This morning when I arrived at 5:30 am I was sat in my van and i witnessed a member of Pret staff hammering on their door to get. A lady walked up to the front door who I recognised as being regular and the member of staff turned to her and literally shouted in the face that they were closed did not open until 6 am. the poor lady looked a bit flustered and turned to walk away. I would like to add that this lady is known to be a regular at the branch and is clearly disabled and does not deserve to be shouted at I. the face. The branch itself is a law onto itself and they keep changing their opening times one week it is 6 am another week it is 5:30 am then it is back to 6 am. This review is also being sent as a complaint to the Pret head office

This branch does not have a good selection of breakfast (VEGI) food compared to the other Pret branches; most shelves were empty (hot food) . In last 4 days I have tried to purchase a breakfast veggie roll, around 9 am - 9.30 am but they don't have any and the range is very poor. Most of the staff are not aware of their own products and some don't even bother to answer. It's really obvious that staff haven’t had any training in relation to products and customer service. Shame it's a nice location but bad service and empty shelves, while 3 minutes away another Pratt is with a full range of food and massive ques.

Libby is the most hospitable and helpful person at this Pret with a very nice and friendly team of people. I love this PRET for a coffee or a smoothie or at times the Green tea. Best Pret in Central London I must say. Big fan!

Just come in from a cold and windy square to a warm and welcoming Pret. Lovely atmosphere and even as it gets busier, still calm and quiet.

The busiest coffee shop from Pret I've ever been at. However, the manager was good at managing the queues for the cashiers. despite this, I was served in a not too long time. wide selection and high quality of products and kind and trained staff. the shop was also very clean, even toilets. absolutely great service.

They had no iced coffee in hot weather as they ran out of ice or something. The cinnamon danish was nice but would be better with a coffee! What was shocking in a pandemic, despite being quiet early evening with free staff was how filthy it was. The table I sat on was dirty as was the floor. Is it any surprise hospitality gets the blame for increasing cases of the virus?

I think as to go restaurant, Pret A Manger has very friendly and informative staff among the others. Not to mention they also make fresh brewly coffee and various selection vegetarian foods with fair price.

I love the soups and sandwiches served here. They also make decent Espresso. I also love their pasta and salad.

I don't go to Pret much but I was expecting it to be a little bit better. Neither my coffee nor my wrap were particularly impressive. The place itself was neat and tidy though. Service wasn't bad but nothing outstanding. What was really annoying though was that the only toilet was out of order.

Came here to study. You have to buy something to sit in but theres a large selection of patisseries, drinks and food like sandwiches, salads etc. The manager was super friendly and helpful as I was indecisive with my purchase. The vibes for studying is not bad. Can get a bit noisy if youre sitting by the tills but away from that, its good.

I visit here every day for a quick breakfast. The staff was always friendly and the toilet was clean compared to other Prets. It gets too busy during the lunch time so you might not be able to find a seat.

I placed an order of coffee mocha sandwich and pastries 2 or 3 times but we didn't get all the goods but we ordered butwere charged for them

Coffee price has gone up but customers not informed about the increase, thinking again about going there for a coffee.
