Fabrique in Camden

Since the base has a nutmeg flavor, it may feel foreign if you are not used to it. And the bread is so sweet that I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying it, even if it's just a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A nice little cafe to grab a bite to eat and drink your coffee on your walk through Notting Hill!

Great bakery, with the enveloping smell of pastries hot from the oven! I opted for a Cardamom Roll and it was delicious🤤 to lick your lips! The shop is very pretty with tables to sit there, the monsi who served me with a big smile and courtesy!

Popped in and were informed it was cash only which wasn't a problem . Bought some lovely apricot bread . The staff member that served us seemed so disinterested and we both commented on the lack of interaction as we left the shop , not a great customer experience .

Nice modern space serving up fresh coffee and bakes... I went for the cardamom bun which tasted delicious! There are a few of their places across London so dive in when you spot one!

We turned up during what had apparently been a difficult morning, and we were very demanding on account of low blood sugar. But in the face of our ravenous fury, the service was impecable, and the food beyond compare. I had the cardamom and it's texture, flavour, and aroma sent me to a place of true joy. My wife had something with a name that was unknown to us, with croisant pastry and candied nuts, and she had to flap her hands in delight either each bite. She also had a raspberry "cookie" which was apparently amazing, but due to its unconventional shape, I declined to try any. Would recommend.

Coffee and exceptional pastry. Expensive, but worth every penny. A joy and highly recommended.

Lovely little place let down terribly by a female server with a stinking attitude. I (excitedly) asked politely what was in the saffron bun, she then replied bluntly, “saffron”. I then pointed at another and asked the same question again, only for her to reply simply, “nuts”. So blunt and rude it was almost comical. Shame as it’s got a lovely warm atmosphere and the food is great

Cinnamon buns were decent but not worth £4.25, closer to £2.50 would be better reflection. Yes location is prime but for the size you get definitely not worth it in my humble opinion.

The cardamom buns drew me in as I was walking by—it was truly one to write home about, from the pretty traditional twist to the spongy dough, from the freshly ground cardamom all the way through to the warmth of the staff. 10/10

Tiny coffee shop with half a dozen tables. Cinnamon roll tasted nice but was a little soggier than I expected. Coffee was fine. Wasn't impressed by the service - I got in the queue, and when I got to the front of the line, the server blatantly ignored me to serve the young woman behind me first. Then turned to me after he'd finished with her, without any apology. I assume she was a friend of his from the way he spoke to her and the fact that he didn't charge her, but that's just rude and disrespectful to your customers. Won't be back.

Anyone who liked fabrique in Stockholm will also like the store here. Bread, snails and coffee were just as tasty and good as in Stockholm. The service was super friendly. Really great location.

We had both sandwiches, coffee and variaty of buns. They were all fresh and tasty. The service was very nice and athmosphere/music was authentic.

Good coffee and pastries. Don't hesitate to order the Gruyere and kale sandwich.

We entered the shop at 4.30pm today (30 minutes before closing time). The lady serving us seemed most disgruntled that we had come in. We asked if we could sit down, to which she rolled her eyes and said "well, we close at 5 o'clock", insinuating that it was a huge inconvenience for her. She told us that the toaster was turned off, so we couldn't order the remaining sandwiches. Absolutely zero pleasantries from the staff member. No smile, didn't even pretend to appreciate our custom. Overall- customer service terrible, but food was great.

I visited on a very busy Saturday morning and there seemed to be just one staff member on! The queue was out of the door and in the time I waited two people gave up and walked away. After all of that the food was okay, the staff member was obviously rushed off of their feet and needed correcting on my order a number of times and the tables had not been cleaned for a while. I'd pop in again if I passed, but I wouldn't make an effort to do so and I wouldn't eat in on a sunny day, there's nice benches in the square.

Literally my fav place for a quick & delicious breakfast in London because of 2 outstanding ingredients : - Their buns. Cinnamon & Cardamom ones are fantastic - The music. Starting my day with some old tunes like Route 66 by the Stones is just the very best.

Unfortunately have to strongly advise against ordering a sandwich here - the croque monsieur was so soggy with grease that it completely fell apart, could only stomach half of it. The pastries looked very nice though, recommend to stick with coffee

I have a carrot cake which is lovely. However, most bakery looks disappointed. The size is relative small compared with bakery stores. I feel like it’s a waste of mood as I’m attracted by its popularity on social media. I end up with a 6 pounds carrot cake, which I s definitely overpriced. The dining space is narrow.

The bread is nice, the buns can be hit and miss in terms of freshness, but the prices are off the map expensive and the service is incredibly sloooooooow. I get the whole fika thing but if you’re in a rush to just buy some bread and go, waiting in a long queue when there is only one attendant making coffees, serving tables and trying to serve on the go customers just doesn’t work.

I'm delighted to have stumbled upon a charming cafe in London where I could enjoy a delightful (cold) fika 🇸🇪. The barista's spontaneous and friendly demeanor added to the warmth of the experience. When I requested a cold hot chocolate, a drink not listed on the menu, he improvised, resulting in a delicious concoction that exceeded my expectations.

We were only in London for four days, but visited Fabrique twice. Their cortado was divine and their cardamom bun was the best I've ever had. Wish the one located in NYC was closer to my apartment so I could eat there all the time!

I went there expecting a cinnamon roll, but it was fresh and delicious, but not much different from other places. But the brownies are crazy… Be sure to try the moist exterior!!!!

It is considered one of the most famous and oldest baked goods in London. It has many branches and is located in the most famous streets of London. Their baked goods are fresh and delicious. And the most beautiful thing of all: the employee tells you what items are suitable for Muslims and whose contents do not include alcohol. It is worth trying with coffee or even as a delicious breakfast. My rating for it is 8/10 Prices: reasonable

Had a coffee and an apple juice in the Holborn branch for the first time this morning. Both were excellent, but it was the service that topped it all. Yo the lady who served me thank you, you made my day.

Fabrique what has happened! (Feb 2024) - ordered four cardamom buns to take home. They weren’t the golden specimens you used to sell - in fact were also about two thirds of the size, pale and undercooked in the middle. Two were also very dry. For over £17 for four buns I felt robbed! Seems the size and quality has decreased and price increased ☹️

Arguably the best bakery in town. Honestly pastries to die for and Gaby is an absolute queen. She makes the experience magical.

What a disappointment. They clearly don’t know how to make semlor (fastlagsbullar). The buns were dense and had not been properly cut, so were far too thick. The cream is meant to be lightly whipped whipping cream, but instead was stale double cream so over-whipped it was almost clotted. We had to scrape most of it off. The almond paste was fine. Do yourself a favour and visit Bageriet instead - it’s far superior.

Two words: cardamom bun! I can't give a thorough review of Fabrique as I only tried one item, but that one item is rave worthy! The cardamom bun was delicious and had the right amount of spice and sweetness. It was one of the best bites I had during my trip to London. If you happen to pass by Fabrique bakery, get a cardamom bun!

Usually one of the best places for sourdough bread. However, last time I went, the middle of my bread wasn’t fully baked which is a shame for a bread that costs £10.

Too Good To Go / suprise bag here was questionable value (3.39 admittedly not the heaviest price tag) but a stale baguette, a bread roll and pastry that I didn't rate wasn't the best deal be warned. Gail's is much better.

Lovely atmosphere here. This bakery has very few options, but very good. Some tables are available inside, but it's almost impossible to find one free. By the way, I took a couple of buns (cardamom and cinnamon) to take away, and both were amazing.

Lovely bakery with a very nice vibe. I loved their vanilla bun (really sweet and tasty) ! Fabrique is definitely a very cute place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. The decoration is lovely and staff was nice. I just really appreciate the atmosphere here. for reference i paid 7.9 pounds for a flat white and a vanilla bun (so probably not the cheapest option there is)

It’s one of my favorite bakery places. It is such a cozy and tiny place. I love the cardamon and cinnamon buns!

Exceptional buns. Almond and cinnamon will steal the spotlight but don't sleep on cardamom - so sweet and aromatic, and the buns are soft and delicious. Coffee is nothing to write home about, but you excuse it for the tremendous bakes.

So good, incredibly soft, chewy and flavorful; however, it was not worth the £4.25. The cost of living crisis has not been kind on my bakery quest around London. Not really worth the stop as the pastry itself is 7/10.

Service was fine and coffee pleasant. However nothing much else to particularly recommend here that singles it out from other coffee shops. Two coffees and a bun came to over £11.

Stumbled upon this cafe which is very near Holborn underground station. Had the most delicious vanilla bun and a cup of tea. Did I mention that the bun was delicious? It was so delicious that I bought two more to take home. The lady managed to serve a continuous queue very well for quite some time. She was very friendly and double wrapped my take away buns so that they wouldn't get my rucksack sticky. Will be back to try the cinnamon version of the bun!

I’m not joking when I say the almond bun was one of the tastiest pastries we’ve ever had. We almost went back three times in the span of 24 hours! That’s how much we loved them. We might come back to London just for these pastries.

This cozy cafe and bakery is a perfect place to spend breakfast with a friend before you begin your day. I recommend the cardamom buns paired with a cappuccino.

I really love this place. But this morning I decided to order on the website and one of the pastries - vanilla bun was not fresh. A bit dissapointing as I'm a loyal and the weekend pastry is nothing of what I received today. Delivery was very fast but add on top 4£.

I couldn't believe how the guy working in this bakery didn't clear the tables. There were I think 6 or 7 small round tables in a row & people were moving cups & plates onto another table so they could sit down but then the table had coffee stains & crumbs as you see in picture. I actually felt like getting up & putting it all on the counter. It wasn't like he was busy serving I was sat drinking my coffee feeling quite would up! My almond bun was overpowered with what tasted like cardamon, so I didn't enjoy it. Lots of people coming in were buying bread so guess that must be good.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but i was underwhelmed. Great cardamom flavour but a little dense and not that fresh tasting, even at 715!

Buns & coffee were great but the cleanliness of the place just wasn’t it. It was quiet but the staff didn’t bother cleaning any of the tables whatsoever, we asked to have it in and it was just given to us in take away cups and bags.

Purchased a cookie yesterday that tasted old/stale/a little like it had been hanging around and picked up some other flavours. Only managed two bites. Complete rip off for £3.50 when you consider we went elsewhere later that day and had some delicious cinnamon/cardamon buns for the same price. Staff were lovely though

For the price you pay, you receive cold food with average quality. Supermarkets' bakeries are better.

Best swedish Semla and cinnamon bun I've had in London, superb

I love their display and the feel of the cafe. But when I went to order, I was not able to purchase anything as they refuse to take cash payments. For someone who is out and about without their credit card it means you're shown the door. Shame that the Fabrique chain is only accepts card as this eliminates customers' options and choices.

4 gbp for a baguette?! Oree 1.90, Gail's 2.15. Rip off.

Simple but delicious - deffo worth trying the saffron bun😁🫶🏾👌🏾
