Fabrique in Camden

Two words: cardamom bun! I can't give a thorough review of Fabrique as I only tried one item, but that one item is rave worthy! The cardamom bun was delicious and had the right amount of spice and sweetness. It was one of the best bites I had during my trip to London. If you happen to pass by Fabrique bakery, get a cardamom bun!

Usually one of the best places for sourdough bread. However, last time I went, the middle of my bread wasn’t fully baked which is a shame for a bread that costs £10.

Too Good To Go / suprise bag here was questionable value (3.39 admittedly not the heaviest price tag) but a stale baguette, a bread roll and pastry that I didn't rate wasn't the best deal be warned. Gail's is much better.

Lovely atmosphere here. This bakery has very few options, but very good. Some tables are available inside, but it's almost impossible to find one free. By the way, I took a couple of buns (cardamom and cinnamon) to take away, and both were amazing.

Lovely bakery with a very nice vibe. I loved their vanilla bun (really sweet and tasty) ! Fabrique is definitely a very cute place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. The decoration is lovely and staff was nice. I just really appreciate the atmosphere here. for reference i paid 7.9 pounds for a flat white and a vanilla bun (so probably not the cheapest option there is)

It’s one of my favorite bakery places. It is such a cozy and tiny place. I love the cardamon and cinnamon buns!

Exceptional buns. Almond and cinnamon will steal the spotlight but don't sleep on cardamom - so sweet and aromatic, and the buns are soft and delicious. Coffee is nothing to write home about, but you excuse it for the tremendous bakes.

So good, incredibly soft, chewy and flavorful; however, it was not worth the £4.25. The cost of living crisis has not been kind on my bakery quest around London. Not really worth the stop as the pastry itself is 7/10.

Not enough cinnamon in the cinnamon bun, felt like they gave me cardamom instead of cinnamon bun..

Service was fine and coffee pleasant. However nothing much else to particularly recommend here that singles it out from other coffee shops. Two coffees and a bun came to over £11.

Very small boutique baker with interesting looking bread also serves good coffee.

Stumbled upon this cafe which is very near Holborn underground station. Had the most delicious vanilla bun and a cup of tea. Did I mention that the bun was delicious? It was so delicious that I bought two more to take home. The lady managed to serve a continuous queue very well for quite some time. She was very friendly and double wrapped my take away buns so that they wouldn't get my rucksack sticky. Will be back to try the cinnamon version of the bun!

I’m not joking when I say the almond bun was one of the tastiest pastries we’ve ever had. We almost went back three times in the span of 24 hours! That’s how much we loved them. We might come back to London just for these pastries.

Incredibly expensive bread, avoid.

This cozy cafe and bakery is a perfect place to spend breakfast with a friend before you begin your day. I recommend the cardamom buns paired with a cappuccino.

I really love this place. But this morning I decided to order on the website and one of the pastries - vanilla bun was not fresh. A bit dissapointing as I'm a loyal and the weekend pastry is nothing of what I received today. Delivery was very fast but add on top 4£.

I couldn't believe how the guy working in this bakery didn't clear the tables. There were I think 6 or 7 small round tables in a row & people were moving cups & plates onto another table so they could sit down but then the table had coffee stains & crumbs as you see in picture. I actually felt like getting up & putting it all on the counter. It wasn't like he was busy serving I was sat drinking my coffee feeling quite would up! My almond bun was overpowered with what tasted like cardamon, so I didn't enjoy it. Lots of people coming in were buying bread so guess that must be good.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but i was underwhelmed. Great cardamom flavour but a little dense and not that fresh tasting, even at 715!

Good bakery with really good croissant. Anyhow, price is terribly high: 3.20£ for espresso coffe is definitely overpriced!

How can you not love their buns! Don't forget to try the Saffron buns at Christmas time!

Tasty pastries and tasty tea. Recommended for getting a break with some tasties. Also the person in the counter was very friendly.

Totally overpriced. 4£ for a small, not very fresh baguette. The staff was pretty unfriendly and the small talk between them was more important than to serve to customers.

Delicious cinnamon roll. Very friendly staff who was very interested in our tour of pastry shops and it was our favourite if the day. 👏👏🌟

Delicious pastries and a pretty, cosy café! We tried the almond and the cinnamon bun and both were perfect - soft, sweet and crunchy on the outside.

Buns & coffee were great but the cleanliness of the place just wasn’t it. It was quiet but the staff didn’t bother cleaning any of the tables whatsoever, we asked to have it in and it was just given to us in take away cups and bags.

Purchased a cookie yesterday that tasted old/stale/a little like it had been hanging around and picked up some other flavours. Only managed two bites. Complete rip off for £3.50 when you consider we went elsewhere later that day and had some delicious cinnamon/cardamon buns for the same price. Staff were lovely though

For the price you pay, you receive cold food with average quality. Supermarkets' bakeries are better.

Best swedish Semla and cinnamon bun I've had in London, superb

I love their display and the feel of the cafe. But when I went to order, I was not able to purchase anything as they refuse to take cash payments. For someone who is out and about without their credit card it means you're shown the door. Shame that the Fabrique chain is only accepts card as this eliminates customers' options and choices.

4 gbp for a baguette?! Oree 1.90, Gail's 2.15. Rip off.

Buns are good. £3.75 for the cardamom ones as of November 2022. Small bottle of still water was £3. Just drink tap water 😅

Smily and generous staff, excellent coffee and delicious fresh pastry. When near Kings X, support your independent and skip the standard franchises. I sure will return!

Cinnamon bun wasn’t terrible, but didn’t quite live up to the hype… pricey for what it is as well. Coffee was decent, but there are definitely better ones around.

Delicious cardamom buns. However, this branch needs more staff. I felt really sorry for the young lady working there this morning who, during the breakfast rush, was manning the till, making coffee and preparing hot food, all by herself, with the queue out the door. Not fair on one person.

Some great looking and great tasting bread. I was wondering how does a bakery manage to stay open in central London with the rent. By charging £12 for a loaf of bread that’s why. 😳 although you can buy in thirds or half a loaf

Fabrique! What happened? The buns are now £3.75 and are half the size they used to be!!! I didnt mind when you raised the price from £2.5 to £3.5 but this now, not cool.

This place has delicious pastries and sandwiches. They run out early. My favorite is the croissant and the cardamon bun. They also have sandwiches.

The coffee and artisanal bread is well known around Holborn. I cannot recommend Fabrique any higher, its worth the wait at lunchtime. MS

I was in the queue for a while and more people joined behind. When I left there were people outside. Clearly, a testimony to their popularity. I got cardamom, cinnamon and a walnut bun. The buns were excellent of course. However, the customer service was not good. As a teacher of Business Studies, the server did everything she should not have. I will take my custom to a different branch as despite spending £12 on buns, the server really could not be bothered. Maybe she was having a bad day but with Paul's bakery literally around the corner, complacency never retained custom.

The best cardamom bun and the best Scandi rye loaf in London, bar none. And believe me I have tried them all.

배고파서 아무생각없이 들어갔는데 시나몬롤 진짜 맛있다 시나몬롤에 인도 향신료 같은 .. 카다멈! 이 섞여있어 향이 더욱 독특하다 원래 시나몬롤은 좋아하지만 하나 다 못먹는편인데 이건 와구와구 다먹었다 매우 추천 👍👍

Was pleasantly surprised to come across this fabrique as I was a huge fan of the one in New York’s Chelsea/WV area!! I popped in for a cardamom bun, which was tasty (but didn’t actually taste that fresh to be honest)! I didn’t get a chance to try the coffee but maybe next time! The staff member working was really sweet and friendly!

Nice staff, bun was ok(6+ out of 10) from the taste you can tell that they use good quality products. However, I had bigger expectations as the shop looks amazing and the prices are slightly higher than normal. New walnut bun is a class👌

I enjoyed my croque monsieur here and the bread and pastries looked good also, though the range is limited and everything was very pricy.

Fabrique which was originally from Stockholm is one of our favorite bakeries in NYC. London is another & only city with their branches. We were so excited to see what we are familiar in a foreign country. The decor is similar to the one in New York, which is simple and bright with cozy ambiance. The pastry options they served were a little different but the signature Cinnamon Roll and baguette are still available. We had a Almond Croissant and it was so delicious & fresh.

Nice little bakery / coffee shop. Room for 8 of us to sit together for an unhurried coffee before catching the train. Great little find.

Came across Fabrique quite by chance, and could not be happier! A small independent cafe, with fresh baked goods, excellent coffee and true hot chocolate! Whilst having a small seating area, it was both clean and welcoming. The lady serving was warm and friendly, despite being incredibly busy! I'm so happy we found this lovely cafe and we are already planning our return.

Nice place for a quick coffee. The buns were tasty, tried both the cinnamon and cardamom and they get a thumbs up from me! Good texture and tasty. Flat white was really good. The breads looked amazing but I didn't have opportunity to try them out - maybe next time!

While I was wandering through London I passed that bakery and saw that they have kardemummabullar, Swedish cardamom buns. I love them and this one was really good. Def can recommend it and woman at the counter was from Sweden too.

Sunday Morning After the Saturday Evening… Sweet Carbs and Coffee much needed. This little cafe was a welcome site. Staff member was very pleasant. Patience is required as she’s on her own. Very popular when we were there. Almond knotted bun was a little dense but very tasty none the less. Coffee (flat white) was creamy with just enough nutty tones to complement the bun well. Nice little find, so much so I’ll be sure to look out for the others around town.

I heard they serve outstanding quality breads and buns. So I paid a visit at around 10am on the day. Unfortunately, the bun I had was barely warm. So the entire experience was like having an overnight bun with sugar on top. Might visit again earlier in the day to try my luck. Bottom line, AVOID their coffee. I’ve had worse but the flat white I had there was pricy, plain, and pale in flavour.

Stopped by late in the day for a cold drink and a nice cinnamon bun (there was limited stock by then). They seem to offer other nice bread and bakery items. Good place for a quick visit, perhaps not for working with your laptop or long chats with friends

One of their smaller branches but in a really handy location. Staff were friendly and the food offering was great as usual. The Pain Levain has to be one of the best breads you can buy in London. And the cinnamon/cardamom buns are just wonderful
