Wonderful and friendly service, beautiful and authentic Thai interior design, affordable prices and great portion sizes. Everything we got was delicious and freshly made and very flavourful. The server was 10/10 and made sure we were happy with the meals and drinks. Highly recommend everyone to visit here and enjoy the ambience and delicious Thai meals! We will not regret the memorable experience. I will be returning back soon to try more dishes. You must try the sweetcorn fritters for sure.

I am a babysitter for a little boy near Liz sandwhich shop. We were walking towards the croydon rec park when his nose started to run. We happened to be walking by this shop and I popped in to ask for a tissue so we could wipe his nose. As im walking in there was an older woman who didnt even look up to greet us. I approached the cash register where i could see a big stack of napkins. I kindly asked if i could please have one for the little boy and she rudely told me “No, we have to pay for things in here”. I was very taken aback as beckenham is usually surrounded by very amazing shops with great management. It is awful to see this place cant relate. I didnt say anything back to the woman and actually ran in the fish and chips shop next door who kindly gave me plenty of napkins. Ive never been to Liz’s before to eat and now i for sure wont be going. I highly recommend you all do the same to avoid this very unhappy woman.

The coffee and food here are still excellent. However, since one of the permanent staff has left (maternity leave, I believe) we have new staff who have brought new ideas: loud pop music. I've been twice recently and was unable to hear what a friend was saying due to the music. Even sitting outside I could hear the 80s "classics" blasting away. There are many alternative cafes in Beckenham and I fear I shall be frequenting the one next door if this continues. Such a shame.

This was the most disgusting meat i have ever eaten ... i have tried a lot of turkish restaurants but this one was the most expencive one the meat was old and sticky i had a desert as well wich was also 0/10 .. I wont return there for sure nothing special about the resturant , soo expencive and the food is not ok !

I see a lot of negative reviews here for biters. Whenever I’m in the area I will always get a hot peri peri grilled chicken with a box of rice. I’ve loved this place since they opened up. The grilled chicken is amazing. It might not have the mass appeal people are looking for but the food itself is great.

Very disappointed with the Salt and Chilli squid. Cut in thin pieces and was very dry and rubbery. Only ate 2 pieces before binning. Shame as has been very nice before.

Awful! Awful service! Awful delivery time! Awful help from the restaurant itself. Sent a message through to just eat as all the information I was given was wrong, told the food was collected at 8:10 by a lady and was meant to be here 8:20 then told another person was there to collect the food but it had already left so couldn’t be collected for us. The delivery time kept going up on app and saying driver at restaurant and then after we ordered food from another account this food turns up cold delivered by a man not a woman like we was told and was ice cold! Awful awful awful! Couldn’t of even have eaten. Straight into the bin!

Stayed at the hotel attached to the Toby pub. Lovely room with all facilities once we were able to get our key to the room, we had emailed and called requesting a early check in with no reply till the day after we stopped which was no use to us. The lady in reception was rude and unhelpful. We asked for our key at 2-40 and was told no early check in we have to wait till 3 pm. However when she left reception another lady came and gave us our key straight away!!!!! Very strange ! Other staff very welcoming.

Wow, my first visit to this little gem, friendly, light and airy with a great atmosphere, the food was amazing, had an amazing brunch served by the lovely Manager Flo, very knowledgeable, couldn’t decide from the extensive menu & she recommended the Daisy Grey special, smashed avocado, chilli, tomatoes, bacon on rye sourdough, and it was delicious. All the staff were happy and friendly, a sign of a well run establishment. As I was visiting also took a cinnamon bun to eat on my trading journey home, delicious. highly recommend, I will visit again when I’m back in town.

Hi my name is Linda Cela am costumer for a nearly 10 years now am just sitting in costa elmers Beckenham inside tesco and I bought one large costa late and I asked a lady with glasses for a small cup to drink a water she didn’t give to me ? Very disappointing for the staff not only today every time with same girl thanks if you replaying to me much appreciated
