Auntie May's in Bromley

Very disappointed with the Salt and Chilli squid. Cut in thin pieces and was very dry and rubbery. Only ate 2 pieces before binning. Shame as has been very nice before.

Among other dishes I ordered a chop suey. It was so sweet it went straight in the bin. Other dishes were negative of average. Not good enough.

Generous portions, hot food & speedy delivery.

It was the worse Chinese we have ever had. We ordered 4 mains and all of them went straight into a bin. Pork was hard and chewy, Duck skin wasn’t cooked, still white, Chicken was okay, Tofu was over fried, too hard. Very disappointed.

Fantastic food & service as always. The prices are now through the roof tho? Cozzy livvvsss is cozzying!

Will never use this Chinese again. I use these once or twice a week and just ordered and was trying to remember what my partner had last time when the most rudest person on the phone said do I want to call back after 1 second. No thanks I don’t want to call back and nor will I ever again, You just lost a customer who has been spending £70 per week sometimes twice. So I hope you sort out your attitude on the phone so you don’t lose any more customers. PLEASE NOTE: The food isn’t that great anyway so no big loss for me Thanks

Very disappointed tonight. Can only assume due to a new/different chef. Squid had a strange breaded coating, not tempura. Crispy shredded chilli beef was very liquid with over 1/3 veg; more like a stew!

It’s a long wait for the food but for good reason this is the best Chinese food we have found so far.

Really enjoyed the food. The prawn toast was quite oily, but tasty at the same time! Everything else was good. Would have liked some dipping sauce for the spring rolls :)

The crispy Seaweed was exceedingly sweet - possibly a little heavy-handed on the sugar for this one

Very good quality Chinese food. One of the best in the area. Portion sizes are fairly good still too, despite what appears to be a push towards charging more and offering less by many other catering and hospitality businesses. Value for money is good.

Our fav Chinese restaurant is closed for refurbishment so we chose this one today. One of the dishes was far too salted. The food was nice overall though.

The order no longer comes with a free bag of prawn crackers and the soup is a lot smaller than it was but the quality is still good

Arrived on time, smelt great but tasted like someone had poured a large amount of salt all over it, inedible! Ended up binning it and getting another meal. Sorry, maybe it was a mistake.

Horrible. Not sure why there are so many good reviews. The chicken with cashews was, well, nasty. The chicken was very very soggy, odd texture and taste not quite right. The dumplings were soggy as well and not very nice. Will not order from here again.

All the dishes were tasty and generously proportioned, I’d have preferred more egg in the egg fried rice. Otherwise very happy with my order.

Was expecting more for the existing rating: vegetable spring rolls were mushy inside, chilli shredded beef was to soggy and not crispy as it should be, the preparing time and delivery took almost 1h.

Fairly quick delivery but the food was so so bland. Chow mein, chicken balls and prawn toasts had no flavour! Salt and chilli chicken was soggy, sugary and had Indian flavours, which was strange. For the prices they charge, I expected a lot better

The food is fresh and cooked with care. However dish description or pics should be included in the menu. The fried rice noodles with prawns was very bland overwhelmed with noodles and not a single vegetable. ..would not have ordered it if I had known…

Food was tasty but again arrived cold. Had to microwave it all. First time I ordered was piping hot. Could you ask the delivery guys to use the bags that keep it hot?

A great takeaway but not had it in a while and food was not the same which is a shame as it’s the best Chinese takeaway. Maybe a busy night also as was late.

Food was unfortunately nearly stone cold. Heated in microwave but not the same afterwards.

Crabmeat and sweetcorn soup tasted like it had sugar added to it. Way too sweet. Salt and Chili Tofu wasn't crispy but chewy and if it was less salty, the taste would be manageable. Squid with mixed vegetables was way too salty and the squid didn't taste very fresh

Food arrived early and it was delicious. I left a note for the restaurant to make my chicken fried rice spicy, and it was seriously hot, as requested. The salt and pepper squid was very good. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Delicious, great food, great service.

The delivery of the food was great and generally so was the food itself. However a few of the dishes, particularly two rice dishes, were overly salty so it's unlikely we'll try this place again.

One of the worst Chinese meals to date. I tried them because the reviews on Just Eat were very good. In future I will check Google reviews are much more on point. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The chicken wings were fatty with some sort of cinnamon seasoning on them. The rice was far too salty. The house special fried rice had morsals of meat that were unrecognisable and strange tasting. Most of the food was masked with chilli pepper. I can't understand feed back saying that it was a good takeaway. The food was not fresh at all. This is my first time and most definitely the last. What of waste of £60!

Noodles were great. Nicely seasoned and not oily, nice prawns. I’d have them again . The duck dish flavour was nice but there was a lot of fat with little meat and it was swimming in sauce ( quite sweet) . I understand it was relatively cheap for a duck dish so I wasn’t expecting a lot of duck but still.. I wouldn’t order this one again. I hope the restaurant finds the review helpful. I will order from them again.

Honestly hands down the nicest Chinese around these parts. Took so long to find one of this quality and never go anywhere else now. Top notch

Food was excellent but a little late

With it being a very expensive menu I expected the quality to be better than average (£3.10 for a cup of curry sauce) Unfortunately it was a poor meal and extremely pricey for what you get. Another one crossed of my list.
