Excellent food, came hot and quickly. The staff maintained excellent composure with another disruptive customer

food was ok but the waitress doesn’t know the minimum manners. when I just seated she forced me to giving order. and behave was so rude.

Food was really lovely. Good portions apart from the starters. We had a mixed starter for 2 people. There wasn't much on there & we paid £21.95 for it. The Staff are very rude & abrupt. Plates of food just thrown onto the table, Clearing plates before we'd finished. We felt very rushed. Although the food was really good, we wouldn't return or recommend.

Ordered a takeaway, two hours ago because in the past have eaten in, and enjoyed. My starter ended up in the bin as the satay chicken was like leather, probably left over from lunch. The Singapore noodles were dry and boring. What a shame. This used to be my favourite restaurant.

Amazing and authentic Chinese cuisine

Very poor quality food, diluted ho sin sauce, greasy duck and old dried cucumber and spring onion. I used to love this place, I won't be going there again.

Ordered a delivery via Deliveroo. Arrived on time and the food was piping hot, well presented and no leaks. The food was delicious, ordered the Fukian fried rice (egg fried rice topped with seafood and asparagus, mushroom etc sauce) - so good. Pork belly stew with salty preserved vegetables, melts in your mouth and tender- yes it's fatty but that's belly. Fish fillets with tofu. Love the chunky juicy prawns in the curry. Chinese broccoli with ginger sauce. The portions were huge too. So good to find a restaurant that does authentic Chinese food. (Ps. Read some earlier reviews that say the food is not authentic, but looking at the photos its because you didn't order the authentic dishes lol. Tip: Order the dishes that you would not find in a Chinese takeaway).

A very clean and friendly place. Loved the chicken in pepper sauce and the soups.

Made a mistake ordering at the wrong time. Phoned to cancel and was told that it was cancelled only to find it arrived. Sent it back and phoned to a most unhelpful woman who said I did not cancel. So now out of money and food. Will not order from such a unhelpful woman again.

Best take away Chinese I’ve ever eaten 10/10 Amazing 🤩 Delivered in 45 mins as stated. Definitely order again when staying in Mottingham

I heard that this restaurant is now under new management. The food is as good as the best in London. We've eaten at various Chinese restaurants for dim sum and Treasure of China is very good. Definitely worth coming back.

We've ordered a range of dim sum and a stir fry dish. I would have to say that the quality of the dim sum varies a little bit, some are very well delivered e.g. turnip cake was exceptional in taste and the crispy sides, but some tasted bland. As a tea lover, I never expect great quality tea in restaurants, but Tie Guan Yin in this restaurant is unbelievably terrible. With that inconsistent food quality and tea, I'm afraid this is not a restaurant I would want to return to.

The salt and pepper squid is delicious, I highly recommend ordering this. Freshly fried, very fragrant, and the squid is not overcooked. very good. Yangzhou fried rice is also very good, but the portion is quite big! Fish-flavored eggplant is also available, the sauce tastes very good, and the eggplant is cooked well enough, but unfortunately the eggplant itself is too old and a bit bitter. I think the store staff are very nice. The two ladies have nice smiles and are very proactive. Their service attitude is top-notch! Will come again!

Found the place looked good on the front of things but was shocked the 2 people starter sharing plate cost £21.60 and there was a lack of food on it, it turned out the starter cost more than the main menu when I said this to the woman she replied two people bill x 2 the starter was one rib one sesame toast and a pancake roll each how does that equate to £21.60 a rip off I won't be making again , the atmosphere was OK as I was in good company but no won't go there again Woolwich has a better noodle house

I popped into this restaurant when I found my intended lunchtime haunt was closed on Tuesdays. The restaurant was quiet and during my time in there it didn't get much busier. However the clientele did count many customer who were oriental in appearance, which I find a good sign at a Chinese restaurant. The staff were good natured and playful and served us well. The food was good from dumplings to mixed starters and a a main. I did find the cost of the meal for two quite high at £77 with only to small lagers and green tea being part of the refreshments. I took no photos this time, but surely will do so when I next visit.

We were the first in but it soon got a lot of walk in customers. Staff were tentative and the food wasn't rushed. The food - well its superb and there is alot of it. Hot and very tasty. 2 x starters four more main plates and 4 x drink £72 not bad for a night out. One thing - treat yourself to some nice drinks glasses. Especially for the beer or gin!!

Not been to this restaurant for many years and has changed hands (twice?). Very quiet although their delivery business was doing well. Meal perfectly acceptable and service was friendly and generally well paced.

Incredibly expensive considering the food we actually received via Uber Eats. The mixed starters were £16.90 ("for two people") and what we got in total were two anaemic ribs, a tiny amount of crispy seaweed (a spoonful each), two soggy triangles of prawn toast, two small spring rolls and two pieces of dry chicken with a small amount of satay sauce. The mains were adequate but again uninspiring considering the price. Very disappointed.

Food was very nice and fresh, service was very quick and efficient. Ambience could be improved to rank it up too 5* Otherwise I'd give it 4 ½ I had the king prawns in black bean sauce which comes with onions, peppers etc. Very tasty and a good portion size.

Just ordered two special fried rice and two won ton soup both tasteless rice was steam rice with little chicken and shrimp soup had no taste belive we do no our food take away never again have eaten there many time before and on all occasions 10 out of ten but take away completely different manager still insisted it was special fried rice plz

Had a lovely meal here tonight with a friend .The food was amazing hot and tasty and nice portions .They were very accommodating when we asked if a item on a dish could be substituted on a mixed starter to share as neither of us like prawn toast. Will defo visit again x

This is one of my favourite restaurants! When I come and visit my friend we both look forward to going for Chinese here.

Typical selfish owners taking orders stating delivery times of 20-35 mins, waiting closer to an hour now, food will probably be cold. If i knew it would of taken this long I wouldn’t of ordered! They could of at least thrown in a bad of prawn crackers for taking the p!ss. will never order again from them again!

I came into the restaurant with my family and a new born baby, The staff member wanted to sit us next to the door. There was plenty of other tables. We were refused a different seat. We said if we can’t have a different table we will have to go. She shrugged her shoulder and was like fine. Her customer service skills were disgusting and because of that I wouldn’t eat there. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young children

Great little local place for dim sum. Recommended as had no idea and is not as far as going into London and was pleasantly surprised. Had most dishes available as in china town but are similar prices. Steamed dishes and congee were pretty good but fried stuff was slightly hit and miss. Recommend booking though as quite small and was quite busy. Will return to get dim sum fix

Have been using this restaurant for a few years but last Monday terrible they have changed menu and I don’t eat chicken my friend does not eat certain things asked to change a couple of items yes we can then no we can’t Treated us so badly even though we were regulars Very annoyed ruined our night it was empty I wonder why Terrible attitude we didn’t eat had run out of anything we wanted so we left. Will never go back atitude problem there

Loved it! Dim Sum almost as good as China Town. Family of 5 ate for approx £10 a head and we were all full!

I’ve to say it’s as good as Chinatown! Not to mention, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the restaurant is super child friendly and clean too! highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our meal, even my girlfriend who sometimes struggeles to find something she likes at Chinese restaurants. There was surprisingly good dim sum. The service was good and the venue is nicely decorated. It caters well to vegans and vegetarians.

Nice starters and main but no pudding which was a touch disappointing

This is the worst Chinese restaurant you can find. The food is a bit cold and the service colder. The staff cannot care less and they want us to pay service charge? First and last time. If people think the food is great, then they know nothing about Chinese food or good taste.

We've just celebrated my Mother in law's 80th birthday at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff brilliant.

Five of us met up for an early evening meal. The food was excellent and the staff brilliant. This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Can not recommend it highly enough. We had a wonderful experience and are definitely meeting up in the near future for another meal. Wonderful!

Has been my haunt for over 7years great Chinese food, and food is not oiley. Wash it all down with a bottle of sake!!

We go there for lunch often and being dumsum lovers, we mostly order dimsums. Must try all of their dimsums if you are a fan. Note: Much more dimsum options in lunch menu than dinner. Food is always delicious, staff and service are great! Must also try - fried calamari, fried fish paste and hot & sour soup!

A friend and myself booked this restaurant as we hadn’t had a chinese for ages. As we entered we had a lovely greeting from one of the staff and and was shown to the table. The starters were amazing, followed by the crispy shredded duck which was fab. We had a selection of main courses and enjoyed all of them. When we left we realised we had been there for four hours,definitely proof that we had a fabulous time.thank you to all the staffwe would highly recommend.

well worth a try, the Cantonese style food was excellently presented and prepared, do ask for the chopsticks if you know how much better it is to use than a western spoon. the dumplings, duck and prawns were huge and amazing. The Décor is traditional and blended western style. Best ingredients always fresh and friendly. There was so much rice and the like, over, we took it home and had the delicious food for the next day, too.

Amazing food, fresh, hot, top quality and utterly delicious. Our server deserved every cent of her 15% tip. She was funny, helpful, attentive and on point with her incredible customer service xx we love eating here and look forward to every visit xx

Myself and my 3 daughters were unfortunate enough to have chosen this so called restaurant which resembles a loony house but missing the straight jackets!!! Upon ordering our drinks and starters from the buffet menu enough for 4 people at which point the waitress was just rude and very unwelcoming as we were ruining her day being there. When the food did turn up tbh I can and have cooked better at home the dumplings were the worst any of us had tasted in our life’s, the mushroom contained about a pint of water in them and was totally gross tbh. The whole time we sat trying to force this food down without being ill we were being watched by crazy staff who stood the whole time talking loud then looking over directly at us, probably betting on which one of us would be sick from this slop they served as food. When they come over to take the plates away one of the loony staff said you will be billed extra for food u haven’t eaten which was 5 dumplings and 2 ribs which for 4people is very acceptable waste. She tried to speak to us like we were kids. We then pointed this out they started to argue very rudely and loudly in the middle of the restaurant totally ignoring the other diners, we asked for the bill as we didn’t want to spend another second in this crazy house at which point they then tried to over charge massively for what we had eaten trying to switch menus saying that it wasn’t the buffet menu. Absolute rubbish!! So not only crap food, crap service delivered by rude nutty staff but try to rob customers too. I then told them what I would pay £17.50 per person for starters and our drinks which was more than over the top for this slop on a plate and the local nutters serving you. Also not sticking to new Covid rules either so if you want Covid please go ahead and eat here. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place never experienced anything like it ever hopefully they go bust soon or we can all chip in and get them all straight jackets to wear asap.

We always enjoy our experience with this restaurant, the food and service are always first class. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we haven't been able to dine-in for many months, but are looking forward to eating there again soon

I ordered last week and they forgot part of my order. I rang them and they promised they would bring it right away. No one every showed up, not even the day after. The food is so expensive and really average. I will never order from Treasurenof China again!!

I frequently order take away from Treasure of China and I’ve never been disappointed. Excellent food and prompt service. Definitely recommend it!

We ordered a takeaway from here yesterday, although the lady on the phone was extremely rude and abrupt. The food was delivered within an hour, the lady that delivered it was lovely, and the food was absolutely delish. They even had Vegan options (marked vegetarian and adjusted). My friends had Dim Sum aka B5, Udon Noodles, Spare Ribs, Beef Noodles, Chicken Balls. I had the Vege Hot N Sour soup, French Fries (chips to the lady on the phone), and the Salt n Chilli Tofu which was just amazing. Highly recommend.

One star is too much for this restaurant. Ordered food from Deliveroo and we waited for over an hour just to be messsed about Get some better drivers that don’t rob your food. JOKE

This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. Whenever I I need a good supper, this is the place that comes right away to my head. best and diverse food and a rich menu.helpful team, and pleasant ambience. Not less important, the bill is fair. We decided to dine here as it was the nearest Chinese restaurant to the pub we had been drinking in. I'm so glad we did choose this restaurant as the staff were lovely and the food excellent. If you like spicy food the Kung Po king prawn dish, in particular was excellent. We will definitely come here again in the future.

Order from uber eats based on the reviews. The food was bland the CRISPY shredded beef was soggy beef almost felt like I was eating harribos, The prawn toast was stale. Only thing that was edible was the special friend rice which was mediocre all for £30. If I could leave 0 starts I would. Definatly do not recommend.

Now I'm a bit of a dumpling lover and especially like Yum Cha. So to find Treasure of China was a revalation. Good selection, well priced.

My family and I ate here on 11.08.20, we have had some terrible Chinese food during Covid-19. The food was fresh, tasty and good portion sizes. I was very impressed with their Co vid cleaning procedures and attention to detail. I felt very relaxed whilst dining, will come back again.
