Jade Garden in Bromley

Hard-working little local take-away business, which has fed the local community and passers-by for many years! Always opened, serving delicious food, all freshly cooked. Always adding extras into the order, such as prawn crackers, drinks or extra rice or noodles. Very efficient and friendly staff. Beautiful and delicious take-away food. No need to talk about atmosphere as it’s not a sit-in restaurant. It’s clean, light and there is always a TV on to entertain the waiting customer. Food arrives quick, freshly cooked, deliciously hot, and the aroma is irresistible.

This is a great take store. Good value, fast and reliable.

I've been a.long standing customer of this place for years. I've noticed a slow decline over the last 12 months or so. To the point now where it's barely edible. I had to take it back and get a refund Such a shame

I have ordered from here before and normally ok, but tonight myself and my brother spent over £60 on 2 separate orders and my order was wrong and my brother and family couldn’t eat theirs as it was terrible. I phoned to complain and was told they didn’t understand me, then said he would do better next time !!!!!!!

Food has always been great, definitely the best Chinese in Biggin hill, never had a bad meal

Was hoping for a better experience than this. The food tasted dire, unfortunately. Like it was reheated many times over from previous days?? Rarely do I have a bad Chinese …I’ve had egg fried rice from countless take away places over the decades, never tasted this bad, it was congealed together & hard. Sad to say, my young children made better rice when practicing as toddlers to cook, so quite unacceptable level of standards from a take away. The duck was tasteless, sweet and sour chicken was too tough to eat and all the food was tepid, not even hot (we only live 5 mins away) maybe it needed another re-heating , to add to the rolling total. Was severely dissatisfied with the amount for the price and also the quality. First time I’ve ever thrown away Chinese food ☹️

Really tasty food, not covered in oil so tasted much better quality than a normal Chinese Takeaway. Portions could have been bigger, but the service was great - really friendly owner.

Decent Chinese, chilli beef and prawn toast is nice, but the chicken chow mien is often a bit dry, other than that though the food is good. We get Chinese from this place quite often, and it’s usually always been pretty good

My local Chinese takeaway was closed so after looking at review decided to drive five miles to Jade Gardens. Paid upfront and when food arrived it was roughly half of what I expected for price and compared to my local Chinese. Queried with I think was owner who said that it was normal amount and just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I then decided that as it was only enough for one person that I definitely wasn’t going pay £14.40 for another meal from him so bought fish and chips for me a few doors away. Wife said food tasty and enough for one but not two people. Vegetable spring rolls total waste of money as 95% pastry and smear of miserable filling and threw most of them away as not nice at all. Bought same order again from my Westerham Chinese as great value and taste a few days later! I would never go back to Jade Garden as to be honest just felt ‘had’.

Poor value for amount of food for price. Threw most of the vegetable spring rolls away as mostly pastry and no filling. Owners attitude poor when queried quantity given.

Ordered "vegetarian" spicy Singapore noodles - something like that but had the word vegetarian in the name and vegetable spring rolls... As a vegetarian I don't expect the only vegetable to be bean sprouts and to have what looked like beef, check and prawns in them... Not impressed in the slightest!!

Loved our takeaway tonight.. not a big fan of Chinese food as is usually swimming in grease but this was the best I think I’ve ever tasted!! We’re be back! Thank you!

Brilliant takeaway. They always present delicious, flavorful food. When you call to order you only ever have to wait 15 min, and the family who run it are lovely.

Possibly the worst food I have ever had even my dogs walked away from it.will not recommend or use again

Certainly not the best..if your Hungary then it is okay..the Phoenix up the road is way better.

I really enjoy many of their meals. I've tried a couple from their more recent meals and decided against but the ones I know I like, I really like.

Always have our takeaway from here, but of late it seems to be going downhill. It's quite hit and miss if it's going to be nice. This time it was not good. Bean sprouts tasted revolting and stale and so did the noodles. Wont be getting again for a while.

Food was nice and hot, chicken curry was the best I’ve had to memory, chicken balls were perfect, had some beef dishes that were beautifully cooked. All meats were Dilicious! Highly recommend, great value for money.

A great chinese takeaway. I've used them for around 25 years and have only had issues twice in that time which were both sorted out. The food is consistently good and the service friendly.

Had a good Chinese Takeaway from Jade garden last night. Free prawn crackers with orders over £20 and free fortune cookies. Thai Green Curry was a surprise menu item - very nice. Service with a smile too

Living in the area, this is was a ok takeaway. On my last visit I had to return my food as is tasted so salty. I was told it was a new chief. This has put me off for good

Doesn't look like much and hasn't changed since the 80's but don't be put off. Value for money take away.

Enjoyed a takeaway on a Saturday night. The food was lovely and hot but the chicken in the chicken curry wasn't as good. Will try it Ashdown another time but won't rush back in a hurry!

First time using Jade garden after living in the area for years but after another disappointing local Chinese experience we decided it was worth a try and we're so glad we did and will be getting our takeaway from here from now on! Great food, amazing personal service and a really friendly experience. Thank you Jade Garden!

Tried for first time today as our usual Chinese is closed on a Monday. Polystyrene burger boxes used for some dishes (e.g. Sweet and Sour Balls) melted on the way home. Food in them was cold as the hot fat melted big holes in the box. Only 9 balls in a portion but cheaper than other places. Items like noodles and rice were served in the more traditional foil trays with cardboard lids but very small containers compared to our usual Chinese, but this was again balanced by a cheaper prices. Apart from packaging and portion size, it was a nice meal served fast and politely.

I've been living in Biggin Hill for 20 years & have never had a bad meal from Jade Garden. They often give free fortune cookies or a bottle of Coke with larger orders. Couldn't ask for any more in a takeaway, love the place!

i order from them on Sunday after getting home we found 2 of the items were wrong, the squid and prawns did not taste fresh.
