Coral Sea in Bromley

Chicken chow mein was tasteless.

Very expensive. The free item (prawn crackers) was so small, it was laughable. For an order close to £80.00, Coral Sea couldn't waive the £3.00 delivery charge. I wouldn't have used them, but I had quests arriving at 2.00pm - so had no choice. Other Chinese takeaway restaurants don't deliver until about 5pm.

Great hot & sour soup, I also tried Singapore noodles which again was very tasty. Will use again. Beats the others by miles.

Food always arrives hot. Wonton soup good and s&s pork hongkong style also good.

Always comes in 10-15 minutes crazy fast delivery and always hot and tasty! One of the best Chinese takeaways in Orpington.

The food was awful the curry didn’t taste like curry and the rice was bland even the prawn crackers were bland I wouldn’t order from here ever again very disappointed

ordered :king prawn salt & pepper - this was great. egg ried rice was good (overpriced), sweet & sour chicken - had a complete different taste to what I had before from this restaurant and this time round it wasn't nice. chicken chow mein was good.

Food arrived on time. However everything was very bland and tasteless. Egg fried rice was boiled and dry, beef curry looked like dog food and was somehow very dry, not enough sauce and overly thick, chow mein was very dry and tasteless too. Chips were soggy. Chicken balls nice and crispy but chicken very dry inside. Sweet & sour sauce was the only positive. Ordered from here as my usual shop was closed, was hoping to find a new fave, very disappointed.

Worst crispy duck ever, was supposed to be half duck came already shredded (never had that before always on the bone) was like everyone’s left overs a lot of overcooked crispy skin and no meat. No way half a duck. So disappointing

Food was awful and delivery was late

Food is excellent, great to find a Chinese local with a good standard of food.

We have used the delivery service from this restaurant several times in the last few months and, contrary to other reviews, we have found the food hot and tasty. They even have crispy seaweed though you can’t find it on the Just Eat system so we order direct.

The only thing that we did not like is that the restaurant has changed to a thicker type of noodle for the Chow Mein. The thinner noodles that they used to use were much nicer.

We won’t eat from any other Chinese restaurant in the area. However, this is a very rare treat for us as it is now becoming rather expensive. Lovely food though, and good service.

Was told by restaurant at 8.04pm he’s on his way. Arrived at 8.13pm 13 minutes after it said it had been delivered

Has this place changed owners? Not anywhere near as good as usual. Has been my favourite Chinese but wouldn't order again from there.

The both chicken dishes were terrible, the chicken honey( if you can call it that is debatable) was like a week old chicken that had been left sitting out on the counter and was inedible and went in the bin. One of the worse Chinese I've ever had sadly.

There was a slight problem,one item short,phoned the restaurant and a very helpful lady put matters right and item was delivered plus some prawn crackers (Thank you)and it was still within the estimated delivery time,other restaurants could learn from this response,5 Stars.

My daughter ordered a take away recently from Coral Sea whilst driving home . She asked for food to be left on the door step if she was not back . On our Ringo the food was delivered by a lady , she rang the bell waited and then left with the food . This was all captured on our Ringo . My daughter then phoned the restaurant and the lady denied she had not left the food was exceptionally rude and called my daughter a liar . Under no circumstances can this establishment be trusted nor do they warrant your custom with so much choice in the area .

Don’t ever order a take away from this establishment. My daughter ordered a few weeks ago whilst out . Asked for the food to be left in the porch if not back . A lady delivered the food rang the bell and then actually took the food away we the her . My daughter checked Ringo and phoned Coral Sea . The lady was exceptionally rude claimed she had left the food . My daughter said that this is not what Ringo showed . So the lady said bring down the evidence . She did this immediately, arriving 5 minutes later only to find the restaurant closed . No food no refund and no apology, only abuse .

Delicious food, good value for money. I will definitely buy from here again.

First time ordering, chicken curry was tasteless. The rice was cooked nicely, but that was about it. Fast delivery but good quality wasn't great.

BEST CHINESE TAKE AWAY EVER !!!! Never have I had such good Chinese food in my life and I’ve been having Chinese for decades. Very good prices and FANTASTIC value for money. The prawns and noodles every dish was so amazing and generally the food ALWAYS comes out piping hot and packed in good containers and even the sauce dishes they make an effort to wrap into small grease proof paper. Not to mention Tommy the owner is VERY friendly warm and kind . HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Chinese Take Away. Best in the UK !!!! Come to Petts Wood and find out for yourself !!!!

This is the first time we ordered from Coral sea and very disappointed with the quality. Although the service was quick the food was quite bland and was lacking flavour. Even after ordered more than £30 , still had to pay £3 delivery fee + Service charge. Would not recommend!!!

Food was Luke warm chips were soggy. Overall flavour of the food was bland wouldn’t recommend for the price. Not good.

We were extremely disappointed with the food. The quality and taste is horrible. Meat looks like not fresh and the lemon chicken we ordered was too sour. We won’t be ordering anymore here. Spent 30 quid for rubbish food.

I’ve used this restaurant for a long time & normally enjoy. The egg fried rice had a large grey/ white item in it which we hope was just overdone unchopped egg white. That put us off the rice. The ribs were tough to eat like they had been over cooked. The salt and pepper chicken was coated in pure fat. Most of it went in the bin, which was a shame.

Picked up a take away , when we started to eat it didn’t take us long to work out it was not good , no taste, not very warm just something not very nice so it went in the bin and we won’t ever use this place again . It’s not cheap either avoid at all cost

Really disappointed, we only live 5 minutes away and it was cold on arrival. It was not great quality food, extremely expensive for what you got and very tight on portions. Also arrived very early which makes me think it probably wasn’t fresh! Won’t be ordering again.

We have ordered from here lots of times but unfortunately, the food has gone downhill. The satay chicken was paper thin & dry af, it used to be so good. The duck was ok. Don’t get me started on the rice! Special fried rice, the clue is in name. It was boiled & no flavour. To say we were disappointed is understatement. The worse 40 quid I’ve spent. We won’t be ordering again!

Gone down since I last ordered unfortunately, starters were great as was the satay chicken and prawn in garlic, would highly recommend those. Chow mein and crispy beef were barely edible, the beef in particular was awful. Slimy and soggy. Not crispy nor chilli flavour. Very disappointed

Coral Sea is our regular takeaway, and for good reason. The food is always excellent, at a reasonable price, delivered on time and always piping hot. Highly recommended.

When its comes to Chinese takeaway, presentation is usually not great. But this food was delivered early, tasted delicious and was presented with attention. The Chow Main was so rich and juicy and the Pork Kung Po sooo delicious
