Absolutely first class service in the carvery. So convenient being opposite the train station.

Stayed overnight after attending a funeral. Very clean and comfortable. Staff, very helpful and friendly. So handy with it being a Toby Carvery as well, not having to go far for an evening meal or breakfast.

It really is good value and well worth it 👌. But book early if you're going on Sundays and parties of 6 people.

Friendly staff and good ambience in pub.

Really handy for the station. Only complaint was the girl on the check-in desk just walked off when she saw us arriving, without a word. Apart from her, the staff were friendly. Room was perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good; we found it was cheaper to pay on the day than to add it to the room when booking.

Nice rooms and helpful staff. The dinner buffet was pretty good too. Close to train station as well.

This is our fifth stay at the Innkeepers Beckenham. It is perfectly situated for visits to family in the local area. The buses run from right outside, meaning we don't have to drive everywhere, there is also a train station across the road. The pub is lovely, spacious and clean. We've indulged in the carvery a few times and can't fault it - booking is required as it's always busy. If you've forgotten anything, there's a Sainsbury's Local store just across the road too. The rooms are a great size, with everything you could need. Clean and comfortable and the bathroom is good with a decent shower. The final great thing is free parking - so rare close to London. The car park does get busy, but there's lots of movement as people come and go from the Carvery, so we've never waited more than a few minutes to be able to park.

Good value for money. Recommended for short stays

The room was fine and clean, beds were comfortable, quiet room. Very well situated; train station directly across the road. We did not get a proper welcome/ no explanation about anything, (for example about breakfast options). But this was maybe because we arrived late, we ordered a drink at the bar, but we did not get it because the bar was closing(there were still people sitting in the bar). We had a long journey and we would have loved something to drink. It was just a tiny gesture he could have made, in our opinion. Saturday evening we came back late, so we called the number on the door for assistance, someone came to the door and told us we need to take the front door, we thought, he might as well, could have openned the door for us. When checking out nu questions asked about our stay for example if we were satisfied. It is just a little effort to be of service and be friendly. This is what we missed. Room was perfect.

Stay here a few time a year when we visit our Son and family, it's very close to the train to get into town and see the sights.

Arrived from Australia with my daughter, room was very clean & comfortable, just what we needed safety a long flight! Food was amazing, dinner with my sisters family, who live just around the corner, was amazing and for once my eyes weren’t bigger than my belly! We will be back again in a few weeks for a few nights before we head back to Australia.

The only downfall is the lack of parking in the carpark

I use this inn keepers quiet a few times as close to visiting family, and easy to get into central london or brkmley for coast connections. I had not been for 2 years. Staff really helpful throughout the 2 night stay. Rooms really really clean and comfortable. Whilst first morning really informative when I booked on for break fast what I did notice was just the Carvery an toast which was okay. It did say there was lighter options in the info in the room. Perhaps I should have asked but I could not see crosssints , youget, cereals or a menu out to ask just a recommendation to perhaps communicate that more if it was available.

The staff were excellent as was the food. The room could do with a bigger heater but apart from that it was excellent and I am looking forward to staying there again.

My husband and I spent one night only in this hotel , we woke up to a cockroach 🪳 Crawling on the ceiling. The manger told us it must of Came in through the window. The window was never open during the night n was only open when we was leaving. Never ever had I Experience this before . Also this hotel Serve food.

Great place to stay and everyone was very friendly

Stayed Sunday evening after a soul town festival, staff were friendly, when we checked in, room was clean, but some horrible bulge on one wall paint flaking of ? Damp Tv wasn't straight. But our biggest issue was the noise from the room above honestly felt like they was going to come through the ceiling creaking, cracking, squeaking there obviously movement in the floor and ever footstep was so load, crap nights sleep and worken up by the quest room above. Nearly feel over in the hall way to the room as there was a Hole under the carpet not safe. Won't stay at this hotel again.

2nd visit to toby carvery Eden Park. Only couple of negatives this time...checked in Friday 30th Aug until 2nd Sept; reported ceiling light the day I checked in, only needed to tightened properly by houskeeper and room wasnt cleaned Sunday morning. Just a shame internal doors arent automatic which would be ideal for disabled users...maybe toby carvery could work in colaboration with the fire service to see if this could be feesable in the future.

The rooms were decent, service, nothing memorable and the restaurant side of it, it could be a bit more cleaner!

Stayed here some time ago andcrecommendvit for family visiting the area. Also eat in the carvery at least once a month. Rooms we had were spacious, clean and comfortable. If you have trouble climbing stairs you would need to check. Most staff are pleasant and deal with any concerns eventually within the carvery, bar, and for booking in. Very accessible to local train station which goes into London regularly.

Very nice Hotel, good rooms, calm and relaxing area, you can reach London in 15 minutes, station and bus stop nearby, in the evening you have plenty of choice for dining at a low cost thanks to the presence of many nearby restaurants.

Everything was above expectations, the room, the cleaning service, the breakfast and the great communication via public transportation.

Everything was great. Clean rooms, nice and clean batgroom, comfortable bed. The Staff was very Kind and helpful. Thank you, Mack (the man at the overnight reception) who helped us as lot as we had a very late night arrive due to delays. Great food at tobeys and breakfast was fine. Getting to London and back was easy. All-in-all we are very happy and will probably return sometime

Nice room & bathroom, not always hoovered or floor in bathroom washed on a daily basis when on a long stay. Maids lovely though. Toby Staff (female ) rude, no customer service skills, and a CBA attitude. you’re in the wrong job love get a new one that fits your lack of personal skills. Hotel ideal for train station into London. Buffet usually tepid as it never retains heat once it’s left the kitchen… it is what it is Head office inept and not fit for purpose.

It's an amazing set of rooms as well as staff at this place. Don't forget the fact that you can catch a toby roast whenever you are ready . 10/10 across the board

Didn’t use the restaurant facilities. However the rooms were clean and surprisingly quite nice . The check in is between certain times but you can come and go as you please once checked in . I had a really good nights sleep here actually

Service, cleaniness, price and staff

Room was clean and breakfast was excellent Booking in could greatly be improved I had asked for early book In between 13.00-1400 was told they would try and accommodate arrived at 1330 only to find no staff around to deal with booking in. If I had known there was no chance at all I would not have got there so early no fun sitting around for an hour and a half. Even at 1500 still no one available. Also requested double bed but was given a room with two singles

Always have a good experience. I'm there at three times a month, breakfast meet ups, lunches. Great value and very friendly staff. Spoke to Isabel the manager yesterday. All good.

Staff was very helpful, and the room was lovely and clean, lovely shower. Tea and coffee provided. Douvet not big enough, s it was quite cold at times. But I'm sure if I complained at the time, It would have been sorted. Lovely stay.

Beds comfy which is a must , rooms are clean, staff are friendly, if I want to moan then wi fi plays up, and after all these years they still dont listen? Breakfast quality is better than quantity
