Fantastic coffee and a cosy atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable. Well-managed shop. Highly recommend.

Went with a mum friend and our babies. However we had to sit outside as the place was so hot inside - it was like a sauna and it wasn't even a hot day! The people working there were clearly not happy (don't blame them working in that heat) so it was not a friendly service, no smile, and we were hurried out as it was closing. I won't be going there again.

Lots of new much younger staff and the quality has definitely been lowered. The staff are always polite and kind. The shop is always clean and presentable.

Terrible coffee, I was given basically a big cup of hot milk with a slightly beige colour if you looked closely, zero taste. It was supposed to be a flat white. Anyone who knows how to make coffee would’ve made it in a cup half the size and without a pint of milk diluting it out. However, I will say that the customer service was lovely and the place has a nice atmosphere, I probably would go there and try their food but never a coffee again. I couldn’t even drink it, and for £4 I thought I’d be getting a decent one.

Good coffee and polite and efficient service. Only issue is there are too many chairs and table for the size of the cafe. Difficult to move around, particularly when crowded.

Coffee acceptable but tables are way too close together to be able to have a conversation without hearing others' at the same time, too claustrophobic.

Best coffee in Petts Wood! Independent coffee house serving coffees and cakes. We are regulars to coffee x and would not drink any other coffee in Petts wood. Staff so friendly. Highly recommend.

Could I suggest attention is paid to the broken air conditioning? Not pleasant for customers and worse for the staff.

Very cute coffee spot, perfect place to grab a coffee and maybe a toastie for a catch up with friends. I however don’t recommend the cakes. Tasted like they’ve been left out on display for quite a few hours… was awfully dry and wasn’t worth the purchase. Besides from that still a lovely cafe, food could be better.

I think this is the best coffee house in Petts Wood, probably in Bromley as well. The staff are always so friendly, the coffee tastes great and it’s very spacious and beautifully decorated. I always come back and definitely recommend it 😊

I am not a regular at Coffee X, but when I visit I always enjoy it. Customer service is friendly and polite. I like their mix of coffee ☕️. Love their cortado and smooties. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Always nice selection of cakes and treats, for whenever I decide to treat myself.

Always a pleasure to call in for coffee when in PW. Staff always pleasant and welcoming. Restricted food options, mainly cakes and sandwiches etc ....but its a coffee shop after all.

A few weeks ago I visited the establishment to have some coffee, it was early so it was not that crowded. I saw a very unpleasant scene in which the manager started to make unsolicited physical contact with women employees and they were clearly not comfortable with it. For me that was a very uncomfortable scene to see as a woman and as a customer. This place does not look like a safe place for women in general. Be aware. And for the owners: you should at least have some conversation or training about harassment so your male employees know how wrong what they are doing is. As a woman it worries me a lot to see how vulnerable the women are at this place, even more taking into consideration the number of clearly underaged staff.

I am disappointed, the staff need hair tied off their faces and look more presentable, we were concerned that their hair would go in our food, being given the correct items would have been good - hardly any eye contact from the person serving, we waited far too long for the correct item and one of the drinks was only just warm!! no apology for the wrong order, I usually come here for a hot drink and a catch up, I feel their standards are slipping and their customer service was really poor. Might have to give it a miss for a while. 6/10

Lovely iced mocha, and my son loved the sausage rolls and caramel shortbread.

First time visiting. Got a takeaway Flat White and a caramel shortbread. I was given the wrong shortbread, one with nuts on, and the coffee had a funny taste as if the milk was sour. Unfortunately I was already too far away to go back to sort it out. Would be willing to try them again assuming this was just an anomaly.

I've visited a couple of times before. It's a nice, clean, well presented shop. Excellent coffee and cakes. Will definitely be visiting again. If you're in Petts Wood give it a try!

Visited this coffee shop for the 1st time on Sunday the 4th, and although the coffee was good, the staff were very poor, they were arguing amongst themselves, mucking around and not really paying very much notice of their customers!! I will not return to this establishment unless the staff are better trained and conscientious!

Fantastic coffee, the baked goods were perhaps not as fresh as I would like but overall a pleasant experience.

Good coffee and cake selection, though cakes are quite pricey. Plenty of seats inside and out the front. It is not very cosy but an ok place to sit in for a chat and a bite.

Dropped by here after a walk around the area in the winter. Lovely flat white and carrot cake (even if it’s vegan as they had run out of the normal ones) for takeaway and friendly service.

Recommended for a reviving hot chocolate after walk in the woods on an icy cold day.

I ordered a mint hot chocolate and black forest hot chocolate late on Tuesday afternoon for myself and my partner. Unfortunately both were lukewarm when we drank them just moments later. Disappointing. Hopefully my next experience will be better.

Great Coffee and fast service super close to the station. Efficient contactless payments in use for any purchase size enabling a fast and secure COVID experience. Would highly recommend. (Note that Cow & Bean across the road have a £5 minimum on card).

No me impresionan las precauciones de Covid. El asistente limpió las mesas entre los clientes, pero no prestó atención a la limpieza de las sillas de plástico, ya que la mayoría de los clientes las tocan para sacarlas. Le planteé esto a la asistente y ella limpió rápidamente los asientos con la tela. Además, un miembro del personal estaba afuera de la puerta trasera fumando, lo que significa que el humo entraba en el café. La capacitación del personal es deficiente, por lo que no volveremos pronto.

Vegan & Gluten Free cake as well as a wide variety of Dairy Free milk options. Also, plenty for the cows milk lover too.

Me and my partner visit Coffee X every Sunday. Their staff are really friendly and they make the best cappuccinos you will ever find.

A quaint little coffee shop in Petts Wood. Delicious coffee and a good selection of sweets or savouries. Lovely service. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table which is always nice. The toasted tea cake in particular was lovely and I must recommend it. Fair prices. About the same as the Costa down the road. Homely decor inside and a few seats outside. They have a doggy bowl of water outside which I always appreciate.

A lovely, elegant coffee shop in Petts Wood with friendly staff and great food. I went here with my wife and daughter, and was hugely impressed at how welcoming the place was. The decor is sophisticated and comfortable and passersby may think the place is perhaps not child friendly. However, they are well equipped for families. With highchairs available and unisex bathrooms with a great changing table (perfect for dads who do nappies). I had an Oreo cookie cake which lovely if a bit sweet. My wife had a vegan lemon cake which was delicious. And the coffee was really rich and tasty. There is parking right outside if it's available or all around the Petts Wood area and it is free on Sundays. A strong thumbs up and would definitely recommend.

Great expresso coffee, delicious iced latte coffee with caramel, really refreshing. Love coming with our dog as we can seat outside and there is a water bowl available for dogs if needed.

Really lovely independent. Good selection of light bites as well as drinks. Unhurried atmosphere, mixed clientele. Love the interior design and branding - photoshopped logo into old photos etc. One star off as the tables are too close together and it feels tight on a busy day.

The cafe itself is lovely and comfy and serves great coffee and especially smoothies. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The only thing that bugs me is how searingly bright it is in their sometimes, made worse when it is a little gloomy outside. Could definitely benefit with some lampshades. Having said that, it is a decent place and would recommend highly (ideally to people with strong eyes than mine).

Me and my partner went here a few months ago when they had not long been open. I ordered a latte which did not taste right as milk seemed off however they did change this for me to a hot chocolate which was no better. The atmosphere was a bit strange and quite sudden. A let down overall.

This is a lovely coffee shop in Petts Wood. Their coffee and smoothies are very nice. Their sandwiches are fresh and much better than those you get in chain coffee shops.

This is obviously a coffee shop, so I should first comment on the quality of the coffee. I'm a good coffee lover, and I think this is one of the best coffee shops in Bromley (the borough), on a par with Pearson & Hearn in Bromley and Fee and Brown in Beckenham.Also, the service *can* be lovely (depending on who you are served by). The young lady that served me on 31/08/2018 was excellent - she offered me a free coffee only because I had insisted that one was due because of my loyalty points, even though their system was (incorrectly, I thought) not showing this. (Apparently they often had issues with their loyalty card system.)If you are looking for good coffee in Orpington/Petts Wood, pop into CX!

Good coffee and lovely venue. Price a little high

This is a really lovely coffee shop, and as a local person, I want to see it do well. However, the last few times I've been there, the service has been agonizingly slow. There's a real shortage of very good cafes in Petts Wood (plenty of average ones) so I really want to like this one, and it has lots going for it, but you guys have to motivate your staff a little better. They are always friendly and polite, but they are easily confused about what you've ordered, often bring the wrong things, and simply take too long over it all. They just don't seem that interested.

Came in for a coffee and snack with my son and ended up hanging out for 2 hours. Comfy sofa, friendly staff, good coffee. Can maybe do with a wider selection of food and maybe some fruit, but it's a great cafe.

Pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff limited but pleasing choice of cakes and pastries. Decent range of gluten free treats and variety of dairy alternative milk. Slightly more expensive than average coffee shops but nice quality. No savoury food available. As a new shop everything is new as you would expect. Very clean. Would go again.
