The best restaurants in Chislehurst Bromley London

I visited here on Saturday with my 8 week year old and husband. All the women in the tea room were so lovely and attentive. Very helpful when it came to arranging a bottle for my little one. Cakes were fantastic, I would have had double helpings if I was still pregnant. I absolutely love Monmouth coffee and didn’t expect a little coffee house like this to have that brand so was pleasantly surprised that they did. I would highly recommend the place not only for the cake and coffee but also for the service and for making us feel at home and relaxed with our little one. Will be visiting again very soon

A very quaint drinking hole in the middle of Chislehurst, bar on one side and florist on the otherside, with a small outside seating area, which is lovely in a sunny day. Also dog friendly, would highly recommend!

Let’s start : We booked this restaurant based on reviews, most of them good so we could not wait to try it, being ourselves fish and seafood lovers. Service: good and welcoming. Wine: a massively overpriced list of wine. Some good some very average and expensive. You won’t find a decent bottle for less than 30 quid Oysters: amazing Starters: we had tuna and octopus - good but the portions are small. Barely tasters. Mains: we ordered two ray wings and a monkfish: Monkfish - very average, not seasoned properly. Slightly overcooked. Okay. Rays - we had to call the manager over and ask her to smell the fish as one of them stunk of ammonia - my husband had to literally spit it out as it was unbearable to eat. The amazing thing in all of this is that they advertise freshly daily delivered fish when we saw kitchen staff getting it out of freezer bags - that explained the ammonia as the fish was definitely not fresh. Ammonia is used to preserve fish when it’s not fresh any longer. The manager gave us the unforgettable excuse that ammonia occurs naturally in fish - this is not the case at all, and unlikely for this lady, I had 2 experience fishermen at my table, coming straight from the Mediterraneans which, to the sound of that, they had a laugh. The other wing was good in fairness and the manager tried to make it up to us nicely by giving us the 2 mains and the sides for free. We appreciated the gesture. Overall- expensive and not great at all! Sorry. The reality is that we will never stamp a foot thru the door of this restaurant ever again. This is the unfortunate reality of messing up with a very expensive menu that does not deliver its promise. Good luck.

Excellent atmosphere and felt welcome. Menu slightly limited but dishes are cooked well and nicely presented. We have our favourites and never disappointed.

This is a MUST TRY RESTAURANT believe me when I say the food here is so good that you will be DREAMING of eating it again, this food tasted so good that I thought I was in heaven so if you're looking for a good restaurant to eat at let me tell you that this is THE PLACE.

Great all round, nothing to complain about. Food and service were exceptional. Could not ask for more and we will be returning soon.

We went to Fitology today for the first time. We booked into the pop up pottery class for children over the half term and we’re not disappointed. Little one enjoyed painting upstairs whilst we had a yummy coffee and pastry downstairs. Pottery class was great - friendly ladies running it and our little one enjoyed himself. Will Definately be back to sample more of the menu and also for any other pop up children activities.

Best kebab shop in the area very good taste, food is the best, would really recommend it for anyone coming .:………………………..

Just been to Wrattens for afternoon tea for Mother’s Day / Birthday and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. They also catered to two gluten free guests. Plenty of food and lovely sausage rolls, with delicious scones too. Loved it!!

Fantastic local Pub served by great people

This restaurant is a little piece of Ukraine in the UK — and it’s absolutely amazing. I felt like I was back in Ukraine. The food, the staff, the atmosphere — everything was simply incredible.

Fantastic little cosy place with good down to earth home cooked food in a pretty cottage barn restaurant setting. Everything is piping hot, fresh and showcases the best of British. Amazing value for money anywhere not least leafy Chislehurst. All staff are super efficient and friendly and will accommodate your every need. Thank you very much for looking after us five gentlemen today.
