I visited here on Saturday with my 8 week year old and husband. All the women in the tea room were so lovely and attentive. Very helpful when it came to arranging a bottle for my little one. Cakes were fantastic, I would have had double helpings if I was still pregnant. I absolutely love Monmouth coffee and didn’t expect a little coffee house like this to have that brand so was pleasantly surprised that they did. I would highly recommend the place not only for the cake and coffee but also for the service and for making us feel at home and relaxed with our little one. Will be visiting again very soon

I recently had a cream tea at Annabelle’s with a friend. There were a lot of things about the place that intrigued me. Firstly the friendly reception we received. Staff are warm and chatty. Secondly they sell all sorts of gifts, jewellery & reasonably priced clothing. And finally the cream tea scones were delish, light and fluffy and a huge portion of cream & plenty of jam and all for under a tenner.

We visited using a Groupon deal and was not disappointed. There is a beautiful gift shop and we enjoyed afternoon tea with our elderly parents. The staff are very friendly and attentive and went above and beyond. We definitely will be going back.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my friend. Delicous scones and cream and home baked selection of cakes. Great selection of teas for those with different tastes all served in preety China and tea pots. Lovely table by window to people watch if wanted. Also there is a great gift shop to look around and fabulous boutique they have just opened next door. A must visit.

This is a great coffee place and we often visit it with my husband and dog as a Saturday treat. My rescue dog is still learning to be calm in public spaces and we appreciate the understanding; we never felt judged or unwelcomed. Great customer service with a strong family feel, and my dog often gets treated to a generous portion of cooked chicken, so she has a strong interest in the place too and will happily tear my arm apart trying to pull me there. Only complain is that sometimes it’s closed and she gets terribly dissapointed; evidence attached.

I agree with the others that this micropub offers a good selection of craft beers, wines & ciders. But unfortunately there's no normal draft lager, only cans available. Nice bar snacks. Small but cozy with a seating area outside also. Staff polite and helpful.

Waitress walked past us twice without acknowledging us. Eventually took order after 10 mins. Waited 40 minutes to be told our breakfast wasn't ready so we walked out. Then paid £7.90 for 2 coffees one of which was just instant and hardly any milk. Came out with the worst hanger ever. Been in here many times but never again. How hard is it to make a cooked breakfast and plate it? You're a breakfast café that's your job. Apart from the eggs and toast it's all pre ready surely!?
