Chai in Bromley

Very bad customer service and overpriced.

I popped in to Chai for a coffee this afternoon. It's a lovely place to go, and I was really impressed with the quality of my oat cortado - really tasty and well-made. Many thanks folks, I'll be back when I'm next in the area.

Very lovely place and owner. I came in with my daughter this morning. We had a babycino, latte and two sausage sandwiches. Even gave my daughter two biscuits for free at the end. Very kind and we will be back! Highly recommended and spacious!

I recently visited with my husband, 5 year old and 8 year old. We had driven down from Peterborough to the funeral directors next door but they messed us about and we had an hour and half to get through. Chai was the perfect place for us. The staff were really warm and welcoming, there was a loo to use and the kids enjoyed their cakes and smoothies. It was honestly shaping up to be a horribly traumatic trip but the kindness the staff showed, without knowing our story, went a long way to soothe me that day. A nice place to eat, run by genuinely good people.

Great service! Rocked up craving a full English and whilst it wasn’t on the menu the team were only more than happy to accommodate our request. It was delicious and so was the coffee. Thank you CWF team.

We were visiting family in the area and happened across this lovely café. Very friendly owner & staff. We were so impressed on our first visit that we ate lunch there the following day too. Both days the food was lovely. Great choice of deli style sandwiches/rolls - we chose ciabatta - and the fillings were plentiful, fresh and a bit different to the usual run of the mill sandwiches offered in many other cafés. We also tried their eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection. Fruit smoothies were also terrific. They also offer cakes & pastries. Very reasonable prices too. We highly recommend Chai With Friends. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

AMAAAZING SAUSAGE ROLLS AND COFFEE

Lovely relaxed vibe with great customer service.

Pooped in for a breakfast there large breakfast was as stated large. It's contents were of good quality and well cooked. Staff were friendly and efficient. Although I only use very occasionally you could see it attracts a good set of regulars.

Had a very nice lunch and a coffee very friendly atmosphere. Food is all freshly made to order Would go back and even recommend others to try this place out . Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The coffee is very nice .

My first visit was about six months ago and I have since called in nearly every day. The atmosphere is very friendly and everybody has a smile on their face even when its raining outside. Good coffee, good food, good atmosphere what else can anyone want? Charlie S.

**added a star for the good response ** Service is very nice. Friendly staff. The place looks a bit messy and could do with a good sort out/ revamp. Outside table tops could do with a wipe down. Coffee was ok, not the best but ok. Food was nice enough, bagel nice and chewy. Reasonable choice of breakfasts, sandwiches, and cakes. There is parking at the front on the road and a car park round the back near Waitrose. I will come again as the service was nice.

Absolutely lovely café! Katrina and Caroline, Mum and daughter team provide a friendly welcome and make you feel at home in their café! They'll go out of their way to look after you and make sure you're accommodated. Lovely coffee, yummy cakes and food. Baby friendly, took my baby girl, now toddler there weekly after baby ballet. Love it there! Highly recommended!

A great little café that served a limited amount of lunches but did do all day breakfasts. Two staff members were very friendly. Bit of a delay for food to come but great when it arrived.

Popped in for lunch I had a well filled bacon and mushroom baguette as did my wife. Both were well cooked. Good coffee and a soft drink all for under £11.00. Staff friendly and efficient.

What a wounderful and refreshing place to come and sit down and have a coffee with friends. The food is absolutely amazing. Would totally recommend this to anybody. All the staff are very social and accommodating.

Lovely staff, great coffee, excellent selection of tea and cakes! Aptly named, as the chai there is fantastic too; both the tea and the latte. The food is also scrumptious - freshly made quiche, sausage rolls, sandwiches, salads... All delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming and calm, despite the fact that they are on a main road - the light and airy interior is in complete contrast to the fact that the main road is so busy and noisy. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate any requests, even when my toddler is a screaming monster! They have a small selection of books and a lot of patience, which is very helpful when it's lunchtime and my boys decide it's tantrum time :) I would recommend anyone passing by should stop in, even if all you get is a takeaway coffee. You won't be disappointed!

A genuine warm and friendly welcome in a peaceful yet buzzy atmosphere frequented by a cross-section of customers. The coffee was delicious and the Chai latte tasted sublime; served at the perfect temperature for me: not tepid but not scalding either! They made me a bagel off-menu and there was a small selection of complimentary newspapers to read while I relaxed there. Will I go again? You betcha I will! I know my children will enjoy popping in for a bacon sarnie at the weekends too.
