What a delightful little cafe! We visited after seeing the museum. The choice was great and interesting, the portions were really generous and the food was very tasty- please say thank you to the chef! They had a great kids menu including jacket potato’s (which my 7 year old said was the best potato he had ever had). A very child friendly basket of various biscuits next to the till for pudding too- sometimes we find the only sweet offering in other places is a huge slice of cake which is too much for a child after a decent lunch (cake is available though!). The toasted sandwiches were absolutely delicious and came with really lovely accompaniments. Also a great cup of tea!! Very reasonably priced too. It was a lovely way to wrap up our visit. We will be back!

We have driven past this cafe a few times and today we decided to go in, happy we did as the food was lovely my husband said it was the best fried slice he’s ever eaten. Sausages are really good 😊 breakfast come in a good time and was hot, the cafe itself is amazing has a lot of memorabilia on the walls it’s lovely to sit down and look at it all, the lady who owns it also spoke to us about the uniforms and pictures on the wall which was very interesting, we will for sure be back. One of the few eateries in Biggin Hill. Friendly helpful staff, quick service, and a lot of wartime stories to read on the walls whilst you eat. Sadly the food isn't great. Swimming in grease to the point that it's flavourless. Limited veggie options and likely cooked on the same grill. Coffee was ok, though it had a weird slime layer on top.

Even before we ordered we were uncomfortable with the blasting out of a radio station playing hugely intrusive music. We decided even before the food arrived that we wouldn't return because of the awful noise. Food wasn't memorable. Good sausages, not very tasty black pudding -thinly sliced {?} and tasteless. Fried slice was brown bread which is certainly healthy but not what you expect from a full English. The cafe was cold and our request to shut the door was ignored.

The Pride of Biggin Hill is The Spitfire Cafe in my opinion. This little venue is always bustling and busy with chatty people of all walks of life enjoying not only the delicious food but the nostalgia of days gone by. You cannot help but feel somewhat patriotic when reading all the paper cuttings and articles that adorn the walls of this cafe. I frequent here often as this is the best local cafe that is open on weekends. Call me a creature of comfort as I always go for the "Sally B" which is the perfect portion size for a breakfast and is always cooked just right. Hats off to the staff and chefs here who always know how to cook a banging breakfast. Thank you ~ Kat ~ Ms Great Britain 2021/22 🇬🇧👑
