This place is terrible - used to be so good before but definitely changed for the worse.

Great food, friendly and welcoming host, music playing, bifold doors open in the warm weather. Enjoyed our visit!

Fortunate to find a table having not made a reservation on a bank holiday Monday morning. Food was great and the staff were friendly. There is parking close by. Eatwell is a plus to Beckenham high street and would definitely recommend.

I Recommend/What a quaint lil place With a name like Eatwell you expect to eat well and so we did 😋. The owner Ozi is an amazing host, we got the restaurant experience, but felt like we were sat in her home for Sunday dinner. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much. I personally had the seabass and I can still taste it now it was cooked to perfection, this was teamed with wonderful potatoes and leafy salad, we ordered extra sweet potato fries and rice (shared with friend). Pomegranate sauce 😋😋This food was divine and I enjoyed every morsel. To finish off my meal I had trillionaires shortcake which is a chocolate butterscotch dessert of a rich texture and taste and honestly it leaves you wanting more. There was a range of home made cakes to choose from baked fresh and equally divine in presentation. I cannot leave without mentioning the beautiful moss wall which creates a natural backdrop for photos, I have never seen this before and thought it was stunning. I did include a cropped pic, but feel you need to be there to see its full potential. We LOVED everything about this beautiful restaurant it was a first class, 5 star experience and I cannot wait to go back.

Eatwell was beyond amazing 👏🏾 I went there for lunch with my sister and 2 friends for the first time. As we arrived Orzie greeted us at the door and escorted to our table the first thing that caught my eye was how beautiful the decor, furniture and peaceful ambience was in the restaurant. 2nd the beautiful menu of food and drinks made it lovely as I am vegetarian and the rest are not so we had a lot to choice. I ordered the Vegan Breakfast, my sister and friend ordered the Seabass and other friend ordered the Burger with Sweet potato fries. To drink we had Vegan and regular hot chocolate and Vegan Turmeric latte and everything was delicious clean plates and because it was cooked so fresh and light we had room for desert l had the marmalade sponge cake to take home and the other 3 guests ordered the Biscoff Chocolate cheesecake and once again nice and light and delicious 😋. We give this restaurant 10/10 and this will become our new spot for out treat days out as we thoroughly enjoyed it most of all the lovely staff Orzie for her gracious hospitality and the cook and baker for preparing such delightful food with presentation to top it off. I also bought a hand made greeting card which they sell at very reasonable prices everything to promote the talent in the community THANK YOU AGAIN EATWELL we will be back soon Jacqueline, Jojo Tasha and Andii 💚🙌🏾

We were having a cup of tea. We were offered cake by the waitress. We said didn't want cake so she took the menu away. While we were having our tea she asked us to move table and sit somewhere else. This was inconvenient because we were still drinking our tea.

Best cafe in Beckenham hands down . DELICIOUS FOOD !!!! Which is not a given these days prices are good and staff is kind kind kind !!! And everything is clean ‘non

By chance we passed this restaurant and we got welcomed by Ozi who welcomed us like friends. The food was so delicious and the presentation and taste was on point, such an attention to detail with food and service. The home made cakes are not to be missed!! We had a lovely Mother's Day spent with Ozi and her team of lovely friendly staff. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!!

Nice restaurant in beckenham to people watch and have freshly cooked food. My only complaint is that the menu is reduced, there are a lot of things crossed off and k think it would be nice to offer a larger selection of foods like you used to do a couple of years ago.

I definitely ate well at Eatwell! I liked everything here from the chairs, to the food, coffee & juice, to the waitress who looked after us. It was a lovely Saturday afternoon experience. I had a flat white with coconut milk (good), an apple, carrot and ginger juice (delicious) and the omega 3 breakfast (healthy, tasty & very filling). I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious lunch was Humus, with mushrooms and pitta today 😋 nice friendly staff who strive for fresh food quick service and reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back

Had a fabulous lunch here with a friend last weekend. We each had a burger and they were both absolutely delicious - so tasty and with plentiful fillings. Mine was the best vegan burger I’ve ever eaten. Lovely friendly service too. I’ll definitely be returning.

Visited the restaurant last Sunday with my family. The manager and owner, Ozi took care of everything. I had a special requirement of my seating and food. She had a lovely smile on her. The food is lovely, clean and fresh. Must try the vegan options. Highly recommend.

A new place I've visited. And I rate it very highly.

Popped into this little place with my daughter last Sunday morning - we waited near the entrance unsure where to sit, the waiter appeared, didn't greet us, just asked how many of us, I said just 2, it was quiet and there were lots of empty tables but he said he would clear the dirty tables as they were smaller & he wanted to keep the larger ones free for any prospective diners. So we stood and waited for him to clear 3 tables and wipe them with the same cloth (no antibacterial spray, that we saw anyway) He then told us to sit and we said that we didn't have much time and if it would be ok to have something small. We ordered coffee, sourdough toast and jam. It took over 15 minutes for the coffee to come to the table, we noticed a couple who came in after us, received their coffees and croissants within that time, after another 10 minutes I went to the counter and said that we had to leave as we have unfortunately run out of time. He said "OK just the coffee" and took my payment! The part of our visit we were so disappointed with is that he didn't apologise, smile or even offer to wrap up the toast (that we glimpsed sitting on the side of of the kitchen serve hatch!) so we could take it away. We understand that food establishments can be very busy and getting food out in a timely fashion is no small feat, we always support our high streets. An apology and a smile goes a long way and Eatwell Beckenham had neither. There are many other places in Beckenham that can serve well. We won't visit again 😕

Do not visit if you are vegan/vegetarian or have allergies. Served a vegan meat, gaslighting them when they wanted to check, and served wheat to a coeliac. Missed items from another meal, and when that did get corrected, it was pretty poor, bland and overpriced.

We didn't eat, just had tea, coffee's and hot chocolate. It was a very good.

I came here today for the first time and I was really impressed. I had the omega 3 breakfast which tasted really nice and was nice and healthy. This place has some really great, healthy options and is conveniently located right on the high street. The owner is really warm and welcoming too and I had a lovely conversation with her.

Fantastic atmosphere! Cosy and very friendly staffs. The foods are phenomenal and freshly made and tasty. Would definitely recommend it.

Always passed by but visited first time, i was so pleased to see they gave some very good healthy options and gluten free options too. I tried their gluten free toblerone chocolate cake it was delicious! Ozzy and her team wears great smile and made me feel very welcoming! Will surely recommend and will visit again .

This place is the Very Best Vegetarian Restaurant I’ve ever visited. I will be on my way there in the next few hours. I’ve taken my granddaughters for lunch and they ate everything on their plate. I often visit for breakfast at least once a month. I’m NEVER disappointed with the food or the service.

The food is delicious and this place has improved dramatically since the new owner has taken over.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Eat Well Restaurant in Beckenham! I tried the chicken wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The Levant grilled and marinated chicken was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh coleslaw, crisp lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy honey sriracha sauce. The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. I also appreciated the dips being served separately, which allowed me to customize each bite. A truly satisfying meal—I will definitely be back!

I had high hopes for Eatwell as there aren’t many vegan / veggie spots in Beckenham. I went there for lunch today and ordered a superfood salad. The salad was nice enough but not what was described on the menu. Instead of shiitake mushrooms, I got button mushrooms. Instead of goji berries, yellow sultanas. Instead of cashew cheese, just cashews…? It was also meant to come with radishes, which were notably missing. And the avocado was a bit brown. I mean I can understand if they were low in ingredients, but they should have said something. Also feels a bit rich charging £14 for a bit of quinoa and basic veggies. The service was friendly and quick, but I don’t think I would go back.

Came here on Thurs 19th 2024 18:30, Signage on door said it was open Google said it was open It was SHUT. Travelled 20mins to treat GF to vegan meal designed for her, and had this disappointment. No message on door excusing sudden closure. Not sure I will try again. We ate at Q Bar and Kitchen just a few doors down, had lovely Vegan Mezze and Vegan Mediterranean Casserole, she loved those and highly rated it. Win!

TL;DR - Gave a vegan person turkey and refused to acknowledge it until pushed, gave a gluten intolerant person products with gluten!!! Ordered a vegan breakfast, and noticed the bacon looked odd. Staff insisted over and over that it was vegan, but after pushing them to prove it, they admitted it was turkey. I ate the best part of two rashers at this point. I've been vegetarian for 15 years and vegan for 2 of those. Absolutely gutted, that was totally disgusting. Servers kept asking "well what do you want us to do about it??" Like it wasn't a big deal. Plus, my dad is gluten intolerant, and they initially gave him regular bread (we're now unsure if they also gave him gluten, which is incredibly serious). It got so confusing, we're not even sure he did get gluten free bread in the end. He got given my vegan bacon in all of the confusion- which has GLUTEN IN IT! So they gave a coeliac person gluten for sure too!! I'll be reporting this place to the council soon.

Had the vegan cooked breakfast and it was delicious. Rose petal latte was very good and sprinkled with sparkles. Lovely food will visit again

We dined at this restaurant today for a light dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The waiter was incredibly polite, and the food was excellent. The seating was also very comfortable, which can be hard to find. We'll definitely be coming back in the future!

My friend and I went for lunch together we were both bowled over by the mushroom soup, it was the best I’ve tasted. The flavour was like a fine dinning experience. This isn’t the first time I’ve enjoyed the soup at Eatwell. The service was delightful too.

We were so lucky to find this vegan restaurant in Beckenham where we could take our vegan grandchildren for a meal. It was clean, bright and friendly with a great informal feel to it. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was great and welcoming. We thought it was reasonably priced too. We chose a fish dish, salad, vegan lamb kofte, gyozo, mushroom hummus between the four of us. All dishes were superb.

Good and bad. Food was amazing, great flavour. Portions were way too small. Website boasts ‘we want guests to feel like they are on cloud 9’: there was zero welcome, we were greeted with ‘do you have a booking’. Server was unfriendly. Manager was friendly. I’m leaving the resurgent hungry. Not ideal. To repeat, the flavours were great. I know they can do better. C’mon guys.

Eatwell is great, and well deserves the plaudits collected here. It's still skewed towards tasty vegan and vegetarian fare, which (I think) (and I'm quite confident about this) will appeal to even the most recalcitrant meat eater, but now serves some healthy non-veg dishes. Aside from the food, what really makes it stand out is how well it does the basics: attentiveness (just right), service (not too fast, not too slow), cleanliness (it's clean!), price (clear and reasonable), portion. It needs no fake ostrich feathers. Treasure this place.

Meeting two of my neighbours early afternoon, we decided to pop in for a coffee and chance to catch up. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Our drinks (mine was a chai latte) were absolutely delicious. The staff were all really friendly and attentive and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I arrived first and was offered a larger table which I really appreciated. My friends joined and we felt so comfortable to have a chat and enjoy the ambiance and delicious drinks. We at no time felt rushed or that anything was an inconvenience. We all absolutely enjoyed our drinks. I really highly recommend this place and we will all definitely return!

We had a lovely lunch here. We are vegan and was delighted with the plant based choices. The normal choices look great too for vegetarian and meat dishes. The food was very tasty, well priced and came in good time. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Great place for a relaxed dinner! The staff are so friendly. I have already been several times for dinner, I had the burger , Asian Stir Fry, burrito and the super food salad. It would be hard for me to recommend just one dish as they were all delicious.

You can clearly tell that the food has been made with whole nutritional foods. The owner and ghee staff are one of a kind and extremely helpful. I recommend everyone tried this place

On receipt of my food eggs were well overcooked when I raised this with staff member they got them changed however on the second time of returning the plate of food poached eggs hadn’t been drained and whole plate was ruined with boiling water so sent back again wouldn’t eat here again if your chef doesn’t know how to serve eggs properly don’t open

Really lovely restaurant and extremely welcoming. Was here for dinner and the place was quiet which was actually perfect, the vibe was chilled (background music was great, and the perfect tempo so not to distract) - the place itself is lovely, seating and lighting (casual, simplicity is on point and just perfectly right, especially compared to some of the places in the area). We were welcomed wonderfully by the ladies. We opted for the sharing platter and the mushroom hummus - all was so DELICIOUS we couldn’t stop eating even though we were full. So yummy and filling - each dip and hummus was so good. And the extra Mushroom hummus just yum. My friend is pregnant and the ladies working went above and beyond to ensure they checked the ingredients would be ok - they even added an extra little salad for my friend too. Teas and coffee selection also so good. Definitely recommend this place. It’s incredible value for money too. Would give more than 5 stars if I could - we will be back!

A last minute decision - we were just out for a take away coffee but decided to pop in and we weren’t disappointed. Great selection of tasty sounding dishes - not all vegan/vegetarian. Burrito for hubby, I had the chicken wrap with sweet pot fries - delicious. Chilled atmosphere and nice level of music playing in the background. Will be back for sure. Thanks Eatwell 👍

Food and teas were super tasty, really fresh ingredients. Went for dinner with my partner and enjoyed it. Staff were very kind and good service.

The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. There is a Moss wall that brings a greenery feeling when you are eating and the music gives a relaxing feeling. The vegan variety of food is good and there are some of meat options as well.

Met with a freind for coffee and found Eatwell. Clean, friendly in a lovely location of Beckenham. Portions were very small but tasty & healthy! Price was okay. Atmosphere was a bit over bearing. Would recommend and return. Well done Eatwell

A nice restaurant but unfortunately I had the worse soup I have ever had there - it was meant to be tomato and lentils but was just yellow and tasteless

Amazing little restaurant with tasty vegetarian dishes. I had the meat alternative burger with smashed avocado and it was definitely worth the mess! The homemade ice tea was lovely as well. The server Marta welcomed us and served us with a smile, even as we were the last guests before closing. Definitely will be coming back as it is the spot for healthy food for an affordable price!

Went for a brunch last Sunday. Throughout enjoyed my visit. Attentive and polite service, nice atmosphere. Food was good, spoilt for vegetarian choices. Would return with pleasure.

It was cute and it wasn’t very busy which I prefer. They didn’t have the coconut pancakes unfortunately but I enjoyed the breakfast anyway. I didn’t like the sausages too much and I would have wanted the smoothie sweeter but everything else was pretty good! Me and my friends are enjoyed it☺️

Nice place, nice decor, clean. We did not wait more than few minutes to be seated despite the busy hour. Service needs to improve, the girl was not particularly friendly and responded with a rude “I’m coming” when for the first time I signaled we were ready to order. The Lady who looked like the manager cared to ask how was the food and was polite, but somehow when asking for some bread she immediately asked “Is your food cold?” I did not even tasted yet at that point, but I discovered the reasons soon after. Food on paper was great…in reality…leaves a lot to desire…food was cold, 2/4 of the poached eggs were solidly boiled, hollandaise sauce not home made, vegan sausages…terrible, mushrooms soaked in oil, hash browns worse ever tried and plates were missing items, for example the tomatoes in the full English (these were listed in the menu) where nowhere to be found. We reported this before leaving the place, few tables close to us complained too for other stuff. All in all passable if you have no alternative…I don’t think I will be back……..unless it changes…… Price was okay…

I live in Beckenham and Eat Well is my “go to” place! Simply love the food!

It’s not just 1 or 2 options. They really do cater for people with restricted diets! There’s a full range of drinks the customer can have which do not include dairy products. In fact, I was spoilt for choice! Very rare to have that experience at a restaurant! As soon as I saw that, I totally relaxed.

A nice looking place with lots of vegan options. I ordered toast with vegan bacon. Order took ages too come. Two slices of toast: one bone dry the other untoasted. Never seen so sad looking vegan bacon before. Latte was nice but next time I will get savoury food from Coughlan's just down the road. Eatwell but somewhere else.

"Eatwell"..but somewhere else Our visit to Eatwell left much to be desired. Despite ordering the scrambled tofu and vegan bacon on sourdough toast, what arrived fell drastically short of expectations. Two halves of dry bread barely supported minuscule portions of tofu scramble and unappetizing, desiccated vegan bacon. The absence of vegan margarine, essential for the meal, prompted an additional request. Moreover, the extensive wait of nearly 35 minutes for such underwhelming fare was disheartening. While we were prepared to pay a premium for quality, the exorbitant price tag for this substandard offering was deeply disappointing. Regrettably, the lack of understanding from the waitress regarding our order compounded the unsatisfactory experience. In summary, a place that purports quality and charges a premium should ensure their offerings reflect that standard. Sadly, our visit to Eatwell failed to deliver on both fronts.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Exceptional presentation and taste

Didn’t enjoy my food as there wasn’t much flavour or taste. The portion was also small for the price. The atmosphere wasn’t nice, it was mostly empty and yet the service was terrible, they forgot my drink. I expected a lot better as I’d heard good things, but I wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful decor, very relaxing. The service was outstanding and the food choice was varied, catering to meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The vegan choice of main and pudding was delicious. We will be going again to order every item on the menu!

Probably my favorite restaurant in Beckenham. They’re always improving the menu. All the dishes are unique and pack a ton of flavor.

The food was hearty and tasty. The service was slightly slow but the servers were pleasant.

It's been a good few years since I've been here but I'm glad we dropped in. The menu has changed and it was all very tasty. The waitress was able to take our dairy free requests with no issues. Would come back again!
