Really lovely park. Take kids to a local attraction and dropped in to high elms on way home. We did the gruffalo easter egg trail. Kids loved it. We completed and earn a sweet treat. Staff were fantastic with the kids. Would go back but live about 45 drive away.

Very disappointing. Followed the very misnamed historical trail which had nothing historical on it other than a bench. It's very much a dog walker venue so full of untrained dogs being let loose and their owners not controlling them. The cafe was very average.

This place is such a hidden treasure. Ideal place to take a ramble & cast aside those Worldly cares. The perfect place to feel at one with nature & ease your mental health. Seems to be very popular with dog walkers. Although there is a Cafe here, it's probably best avoided at Weekends & Public/School Holidays, as the queues for food are unbelievably long.

Substantial park just a short 15 min drive from Bromley town centre where I live. As much as I like Beckenham Place park, albeit it's mostly pretty flat, High Elms offers so much more space to walk, with more changes of elevation and prettier scenery, including plenty of woodlands. High Elms is of course a great place for dog walkers, both owners and dogs able to get refreshments and food from it's popular Green Roof cafe which is largely outside seating (although during the colder months I sometimes prefer the golf course cafe/restaurant as there is substantially more inside space and far better loos).

The park itself is lovely and that would get a five star ⭐️ why would it not. Unfortunately the people that walk there dogs in the area are like nothing else I’ve ever experienced walking my dog. Rude , ignorant, and just plain stupid when it comes to dog ownership, etiquette! There have been loads of dogs fighting along with kills. Yep , I myself have had so many unbelievable encounters with such owners. One even decided because they couldn’t win an argument, they resorted to just telling me my dog was ugly! Lol 😂 I just laughed and walked away , you can’t educate that level of intelligence. I would avoid going there with your dog. But enjoy without and with families and friends. The Green Roof cafe is ok. But unfortunately full up with these kinds of people 😖😣 and their dogs.

My wife and I have been visiting this venue for many years. Sometimes with other members of our family. In winter months it is fairly quiet except around lunch times when it is always busy regardless of the weather. The park is popular with dog walkers so if you don't mind dogs then do yourself a favour and pay it a visit. The staff are always friendly and regardless of how busy they are, the service is first class. Food is well prepared and good choices are available for all tastes. In spring, summer and autumn the surrounding park is beautiful and easy to walk.

For a number of years, the walking group to which I belong have used this venue for their Christmas Lunch, for which I took over the organisation of in 2016. The management team and all of the staff could not be more helpful. I do not believe there has every been a negative comment made by the group, indeed many positive compliments and praise. The quality of the food is very good, with plentiful portions and in January I will be booking again for Christmas 2018. I have also recommended the venue to a couple of other groups who appear to have had problems with venues they have used previously.

Love the Beeche Café. After a very pleasant walk (as long or as short as you want to make it), whether I need a cup of coffee or not, the dogs always drag me here! Of course I want a coffee, and sometimes a breakfast, but the dogs always love to have their doggy sausages. It's a great place for everyone, two or four legged alike. Just very pleasant surroundings, the staff are great and it's a place I, my friends, family and my dogs love to be.

We visited today for 9 holes of Football Golf and lunch for 2 with a Groupon deal. It was really reasonably priced at £15. I think with a Groupon voucher code I even got it slightly cheaper. Normally £10 each for the football golf. The ham,egg and chips was good, an extra egg would have made it better. Drinks not too badly priced. The guy in the pro shop was lovely, as were the girls behind the bar. The signage around the football golf was quite poor and the reason for 4 stars, we worked it out in the end with the help from the map and the gardeners. Would definitely recommend, it was a fun afternoon.

I am a member at High elms golf course and play 2/3 times a week. It is a very nice course to play and is kept in very good condition. A nice little place to stop and have a drink and snack after a long dog walk. Variety of drinks and hot/cold snacks available. Water bowls outside for the dogs. Pram / wheelchair ramp to access cafe. Dogs welcome at the tables outside the cafe. Only ordered a cheese and ham toastie for the kids which was nice. Coffee was out of a machine so couldn't really go wrong. Only had semi milk available. Personally prefer option to have skimmed but that's a personal thing! A friend goes often and recommends the full English breakfast. Restaurant and table areas clean. Toilets ok but smelt a bit and in my opinion not that clean for early morning.
